Preneta Physical Therapy

Fantastic experience: I just finished my physical therapy sessions at Preneta, where I worked with Patti and Shayna to recover from an ankle injury, and I truly can’t say enough good things about this practice. From the moment you walk in, the entire staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Patti and Shayna both took the time to really listen to me and tailor my treatment to what I actually needed. They each have their own approach, but both were incredibly effective, thoughtful, and clearly invested in my recovery. After my first ankle surgery, I went to a much larger physical therapy practice, and the difference was night and day. That experience felt like a factory. The program was rigid, impersonal, and I never felt like I was being treated as an individual. After my second surgery, I found Preneta, and I honestly wish I had known about them the first time. If I had, maybe that second surgery wouldn’t have even been necessary. I’m genuinely going to miss coming in and working with Patti, Shayna, and the rest of the staff. They made a challenging recovery process feel supportive, personal, and hopeful. I could not recommend Preneta Physical Therapy more highly.

Fantastic experience: Preneta Physical Therapy is as good as it gets!!! I have been to many PT places, but none of them give you the personalized attention that Prenera does! From the time you walk into the door and set up your appointments with Kelley & Kim, who are absolutely amazing, you know you made the right choice. The physical therapists are extremely knowledgeable, patient and friendly! They explain everything they are doing in words you can understand. Their compassion for what you are going through is evident! The PT aides are also knowledgeable and friendly and walk you through what the therapist want you to follow up on! Rich, the owner and also a physical therapist, sets the mood with his fine example, knowledge, understanding and friendly demeanor . He even built a little park for the staff to relax in back of the office! I feel very comfortable during my sessions with the respect given by the staff to the patients and each other. I highly recommend Preneta Physical Therapy to anyone and everyone who wants high quality care and professionalism!!

Negative experience: I went there for my Neck after having a 10 hour surgery. I was scheduled to see Rich, but I was a shoe in for Marilyn instead. I spent an hour with her listening about how she had been hit by a train at 10 years old. I was also shamed for having all the surgeries in my past. It was the worst physical therapy session that I have ever experienced. I even called there to express my concerns to the owner, Rich Prenata, and it fell on deaf ears. My grandmother, mother, and I am a repeat customer... never again! I have never been so disgusted with a medical practice.

Positive experience: What I liked: Supportive therapist; extremely courteous staff especially the admin; experienced therapists; mature practice; What I didn't like: modest practice with a blue collar, mostly elderly clientele; political conversations by staff and clients (expressing conservative view points); I was not provided with a home exercise program; some intrusive questions from my therapist about my personal and professional background unrelated to treatment made me uncomfortable. Overall, if you're looking for the highest tier PT for an important issue, I probably would not recommend it but if it's for something more basic and you fit in with the culture , give it a shot.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never had such thoughtful and competent physical therapy…and I’ve had lots of physical therapy. Also, it’s a friendly and comfortable environment.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Preneta Physical Therapy by my employer after sustaining a hip injury. The quality of care I received there significantly expedited my recovery process. Impressed by my experience, I encouraged my 88-year-old mother to seek treatment at Preneta, and she too has shown remarkable improvement. The team at Preneta is not only friendly and courteous but also exceptionally knowledgeable. Additionally, their recently opened facility in the Fairfield Shopping Center boasts an impressive design, maintains pristine cleanliness, and is conveniently accessible.

Fantastic experience: Happy to say I do not have a lot of experience with physical therapy, but this was really a refreshing medical experience. Rich spent a lot of time just listening to me and it was very reassuring to hear him calm my nerves about my knee and the potential of losing the ability to do some things I enjoy. After the session my knee felt so much better and I am not far more optimistic about my recovery. I can only imagine how much better I will beel after a month!

Fantastic experience: Years ago my doctor recommended Richard Prenata for a few weeks of PT. When I found myself in need of therapy again I turned to this small, friendly practice with efficient Therapists and Aides. it was a good choice then and it is still a good choice now.

Fantastic experience: I can't speak highly enough of my multiple expiernces with Preneta. They took care of my 8 year old son when he had shattered his elbow and had 4 pins placed. They got his strength back and were very kid friendly. He was never intimidated and never complained although I know it must of been painful for him. Because they were so fantastic, 3 years later I went to them for my ow knee fracture and meniscus tear. They are sports minded, understand what your needs are and concentrate on getting you back. My 14 year old son currently injured his back running. He has states coming up this weekend. I have full confidence that they'll get him feeling well again!

Fantastic experience: Rich is the owner and so special to me. I was in an accident that unfortunately made my condition much harder to deal with. I had additional problems created from the accident. Rich would push me a little further each time I was there. The improvement I am starting to feel is a miracle to me. I could not lift my arm up and Rich has helped it improve so it isn't aching every time I move it. He is helping me get up from a chair without using my hands to help me. The list goes on and on. Rich your crew works hard for you as you are their boss that doesn't boss, but leads. Thank you Rich and the wonderful crew he has. Gloria
