Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy

Fantastic experience: Matt has been my physical therapist since September 2024. Not only is he is an incredible therapist, he is so caring and emphatic to all of his patients. Reena and Maddy are Matt’s PT assistants, and they cannot do enough to help and are right there if I need something. I’ve been to many physical therapy places due to surgeries and physical disabilities over the last decade, but this has been and continues to be my best experience by far. And not to forget the important operational staff member, Adrian. She’s always willing to help with scheduling and whatever questions I have. Ivy Rehab in Brookfield is a great place to choose if you need physical rehab. You work hard here so you’ll get better, and it’s always a friendly, positive atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to my share of physical therapy centers over the years for various reasons. My surgeon recommended Ivy after surgery for lower back stenosis. From the first visit and evaluation you’ll know you’re in good hands (literally)! This is the first time through 2 replaced hips and a severely broken ankle where I’ve actually had clear-cut results. They're extremely attentive to what you need and their approach is individualized to your specific issue, which you don’t always get at rehab. The vibe is really friendly and lively, and The clerical staff is great as well! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Matt Petrovich and the entire Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy team are amazing. We recently moved to the area and needed to find a very good physical therapy facility where my mother can continue her recovery, after she fell and broke her right femur. We chose Ivy based on the solid reviews and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. Matt Petrovich has been amazing with my mother, with helping her to regain her strength as well as instill the confidence she needs to be able to function as she once did and more. Matt has a way of making physical therapy fun and he’s very good. The whole experience from scheduling appointments to the care provided at Ivy is literally perfect. My mother leaves therapy smiling every time and I don’t think she ever wants to stop going. Ivy Rebab is deserving of more than just the 5 stars. Thank you all, for all you do!

Fantastic experience: I came here with back and neck pain. In two visits I had relief in both. Now after 5 visits I’m pain free and have all my movement back in my neck. This was my first time to Ivy and would highly reccomend them to all. From the girls at the front desk to the therapists, all make it the best place to go for any kind of treatment. Fantastic experience: Go to Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy in Brookfield, CT I’ve experienced other PT clinics and Ivy Rehab with its amazing team of therapists and support team are head and shoulder above all others. I had a total knee replacement on March 4th, and during my 2nd session (4 days after surgery), I was walking unassisted. The clinic is led by Matt Petrovich, my therapist. In addition to being a highly effective therapist, he is an extremely talented team leader. While the mood in most clients I’ve been to is dull and dreary, Ivy is alive. You feel the positive, welcoming energy the moment you enter the clinic. And just like the TV show Cheers, everyone knows your name. I’ve recommended Ivy to everyone I know, from my orthopedic surgery to our UPS driver. And I highly recommend them to you. Thank you, Matt, Courtney, Ravi, Madi, and Adrian, you guys rock!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been treated at quite a few PT offices over the years and this one is by far the best. My PT was Courtney and she is tough but top notch, and Matt also seemed to be great as well. Office staff are pleasant and efficient. Result was a very fast recovery after total knee replacement - played 9 holes of golf walking the course without pain 8 weeks and 4 days after the surgery (not that I was counting)!

Fantastic experience: My wife is currently working on several issues with Cortney, a relatively new Physical Therapist, at Ivy Rehab’s Danbury location. Cortney has excellent knowledge of practical exercises that have increased my wife’s strength and mobility. Cortney is highly recommended! The surroundings and overall atmosphere is uplifting, and the staff is great. I also went there for PT after a shoulder shoulder. The treatment was effective. We rate it five stars.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had one appointment so far but from start to finish my dealings with Ivy Rehab in Danbury has been 10/10. Diana answered all of my questions promptly and was very kind on the phone and in person. Also, my PT has been great to work with thus far and I’m confident my shoulder will be restored to full health in time with her (Elizabeth) help. I look forward to my follow up and am grateful to be in such good care.

Fantastic experience: I am a 58 year old woman with extensive arthritis in my back, knees, hips, and hands. Recently I’ve been experiencing left knee and left foot pain. My knees are just bone on bone and that’s that, but My foot pain is coming from my back and I only know this because of my awesome therapist. I love to be active and it’s been really tough trying to stay the course with all the pain. I like to take long walks, slog, and do CrossFit. Let’s be honest modified CrossFit. My daughter is a PT and she has encouraged me to partake in this functional fitness program, but she lives in Boston and her specialty is neurological PT. Anyways, I love Crossfit, but lately it’s been so hard to move. Also, I have been to many many physical therapy places in the past. Currently at Ivy Rehab in Brookfield, I have been appointed with Courtney, a new grad, and she is phenomenal. She gives me outstanding treatment and the best exercises and I’m getting stronger every time I see her. This therapist is so knowledgeable about my condition and her profession. I am so happy to have her as my PT. This girl really cares and well I really don’t want to share her with anyone. I would like to contact the Executive Director and tell him.

Fantastic experience: After over 40 years, I experienced surgery (bicep tendon repair) and physical therapy for the first time. For my PT, I went to Ivy Rehab (Brookfield, CT). It has been one of the best decisions I've made. From the moment I called and spoke with Adrian to when I went in and worked with Lizzie (while out on leave) to when I went to work with Christian at night (returning to work) - every moment and experience has been excellent. You are treated with courtesy, professionalism, and care. But what stood out the most was the sense of "community" I felt. You didn't know the other patients but we all did our protocols while engaging with each other and sharing laughs making each session enjoyable. I credit both Lizzie and Christian with my success in returning me back to normal. Today was my last session and I was actually sad because I truly looked forwad to seeing the team at Ivy Rehab in Brookfield. I strongly recommend them for your physical therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Ivy Rehab in Brookfield, CT on two separate occasions ... in the Fall of 2019 and again in the Spring/Summer of 2021. This is a first class organization. The staff is professional, knowledgable, caring, compassionate and even fun. The office is well equipped with clean, modern and well functioning equipment. From the moment you step into the office, whether for the first time or the twentieth, you feel valued and cared for. While serious work is being done to meet the medical needs of the patients, there is also a "fun" and "family" atmosphere, both between patents and staff and between patients, whom you get to know over time. Great thanks to Nick (good luck in your new endeavors), Lizzy, Matt, Joe, Cassandra, Adrian and Katlyn (hopefully I haven't omitted anyone) for helping me get over my ailments. Best Wishes to all.

Fantastic experience: I've had a fantastic experience with everyone at Ivy Rehab in Brookfield from Cassandra up front, Adrian and Kaitlyn all over the place, and of course the amazing PTs, Lizzy, Matt and Eric! The whole office is a great environment, so helpful, friendly and just a wonderful place to be for recovery. In Brookfield they have created a safe environment to heal and it is very open for all patients to meet, connect and mingle (From a safe distance)! It is a very personal experience, everyone takes the time to get to know the clients and make the best plan to help us get better. I just "Graduated" on Friday and was able to complete an exercise on the Basu Ball by myself, whereas when I began rehabilitation I could not even stand on my own two feet steadily to complete the bands and never imagined I would reach standing on the yoga ball. It was an achievement I was very proud of and could not have done it without Lizzy. I really appreciate the time, effort and dedication of this staff. Due to insurance changes it looked as though I would have to leave Ivy Rehab, but thanks to Cassandra and Lizzy, they helped me figure out a way to continue my rehab with them for which I am incredibly grateful!

Fantastic experience: Ivy Rehab in Danbury is run by Kerrie Glassman. The facility is clean and well-organized, and all the staff are amicable and courteous. The therapists (Kerrie was my therapist) are well-qualified and solicitous. The facility appears to have the latest in therapeutic equipment (electrical stimulation), and the therapists are not afraid to apply therapy as needed (effective massage in whatever area it's required, stretching, etc.) The staff does not try to prolong the therapy to maximize their revenue; my prescription was for 10 weeks of treatment for several back issues. In 5 weeks, I had no more pain or functional issues, and they suggested that my treatment was finished. I'll save my remaining weeks for when/if the issues recur, when I will definitely return to Ivy Rehab Danbury.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely ADORE this rehab center. Lizzie has been so amazing with my 11 year old son. She works diligently with him, and he actually looks forward to going. He’s attending for treatment for scoliosis and tight leg muscles. We are already seeing improvement. Kerrie also works with him and is equally as wonderful! And the two ladies working up front are hard workers who always have a kind smile, friendly chat and do everything possible to make our visit the best. I just can’t say enough good things about them!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Both of my boys play competitive baseball and both suffered arm injuries in past seasons. Kerrie was instrumental in rehabbing both of them and I have since referred many baseball players to her. Everybody has been thrilled with her approach, scope of knowledge, and dedication. After working with Kerrie, everybody has gotten back on the field stronger than before. She is fantastic!

The staff and director/Physical Therapist there (Nicholas) are fantastic, extremely welcoming and friendly, and beyond professional. Fantastic experience: Many years ago my lower right back was quite debilitating and I finally had enough and sought out medical help, that's when I met Kerrie . The treatment plan Kerrie put together helped me where no one else had been able to do before. Finally I had relief of this awful pain . Kerrie works hard to get you back to optimum health and expects you to keep up with your exercises to maintain a pain free life. I really appreciate the education she offered me in understanding of my own body and how all these muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves work and the stretching and strengthening they need to stay healthy. Fantastic experience: Kerrie is an amazing talent. Went to her when I had reconstructive knee surgery and my recovery was off the charts. Went again for a shoulder injury (that didnt require surgery) and the difference she has made in just a few visits is unbelievable. It's evident in how she greets and talks to her patients that she is as caring as she is knowledgeable. Wouldn't go to anyone else.
