Fantastic experience: I would give this facility a thousand stars! I had the best care after my surgery. Everyone who works at Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Ohio was alwjays happy, smiling, caring and respectful of me and my family. They went above and beyond in my care. OT and PT really worked me hard and made my recovery faster. They are the best! From the nursing staff, care techs, cafeteria workers and everyone else who works there you couldn't ask for better care. I'm having surgery again in a month, and I'm looking forward to returning to this great facility for more great care!

Fantastic experience: My PT/OT was wonderful, intense but needed, I feel blessed to have this experience with Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Ohio, therapy was intensive but needed. All the staff was wonderful, cannot say enough positive comments about this place, I was initially nervous starting therapy but gradually looked forward to my therapy apts, Thank you so very much for this positive experience during a not so good time in my life. Thank you for taking great care of me when I could not take care of myself. Staff was professional, caring and very thoughtful and supportive, Everyone at this hospital treated me with warmth, care and support and I highly recommend this place for great, intensive therapy!! Fantastic experience: I was carried into this place weaker than a baby bird that had fallen from the nest. In 11 days, thanks to Elizabeth, Karen, Zac, Erik, Tessa, Darlene, Dawn, Tameka, Cindy, Kem, Twyla, Lori, Chantel, and of course, my favorite Ms. Paula, I am able to PIVOT like a champ! They will work you 3 hours a day, however, they keep it light and come up with fun activities so you don’t really feel like you’re working too hard. My personal favorite was standing with a walker, throwing a soccer ball at a trampoline and catching it. It strengthened my poor knee and did wonders for my balance! The food is nutritious and tasty. They aren’t just opening cans and tossing it on your plate. They’re really cooking. And well. I can confidently say that I am in much better shape than I was when entering the hospital. I’m down 8lbs, I’m able to stand and dress myself and transfer from bed to wheelchair, Etc. the pain and depression I felt at the start of this journey has been replaced by knowledge that I will once again walk and get back to life before my foot collapsed. Thank you guys so very much. I will never forget you. Be proud of what you do and are able to accomplish in such a short amount of time. And Ms. Paula, I hope the next patient that occupies that room wait's for you to get the balance belt on

Fantastic experience: They made a bad situation into a positive, manageable situation. We witnessed so much progress. Well run, efficient facility with friendly, caring staff at all levels. I would highly recommend them for your loved ones in need.

Fantastic experience: Very good place to learn how to care for yourself after a motor vehicle accident, stroke or any other life altering event. You get three hours of therapy per day. I have a broken foot, fractured knee and collar bone and it was important for me to learn how to transition seating and care for myself.

Fantastic experience: Everything was set to my pace while challenging me at the same time. I couldn't have asked for a better staff and environment.

Fantastic experience: They told my husband that he had a two week turnaround when he couldn't even walk. And by golly,,,,,,after two weeks of therapy, he walked out of there!!! BEST PLACE EVER!!!!! They were all so kind and helpful and we thank you ALL for all that you did to help him come home April 1st,,,no joke! He is doing so well but still recovering slowly.

Positive experience: I would have given them 5 stars if it weren't for our experience surrounding discharge. I feel like we were thrown to the wolves a bit in the step-down facility, which ended up being a nightmare. But the care, staff, facilities, visiting hours, and overall staff compassion were A+! If you are going for a traumatic brain injury, you are going to the right place. The only thing I'd recommend after going through this is to have the family establish a schedule of someone always being there during visiting hours. It's so nice for the patient to wake up to a loved one sitting there. I think it really helps in the recovery process. I worked remotely many, many days from the side of the hospital bed so you can even balance work/visits if you can work remotely.

Fantastic experience: The services that I received at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Ohio were top notch, second to none. The therapists, nurses, doctors, patient care technicians, dietary staff, housekeeping staff, maintenance staff were ALL very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone there made my experience exceptionally great.

Fantastic experience: They are an intensive pt and ot rehabilitation hospital. Focused on getting you home in a reasonable amount of time. The food is grate as well. The staff is also very positive to work with and they are all very nice.

Fantastic experience: After a hospital stay, and another rehabilitation facility, i was blessed to come to the rehabilitation hospital of nw ohio. It was an amazing experience when i was at the lowest point in my life. the staff in every area treated me with respect and kindness. The doctors, nurses and aides helped me from day one. i must say, the therapy department saved my life. TOM and ANDY made me laugh when i thought nothing was funny, comforted me when i was down, forced me to reach my highest level, and helped me get home instead of going to a nursing home. It was the highest level of professionalism i was shown during my illness. They actually cared! Thanks to all of you I am at home working hard to completely recover. Thank-you!

Fantastic experience: If I ever have to go to a rehab facility again, I will be going back to Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Ohio!!! The care was excellent, and I was a nurse for 30yrs!! Personal always had a smile on their face! No one was rude, made me hurry, or gave up on me. I simply cannot say enough about the staff. They were all excellent . Keep up the good work!

Positive experience: I recently had the pleasure of staying here on more than one occasion after having spinal surgery. I feel as though they are truly a state of the art facility. Every staff person that I encountered from the kitchen staff to the doctors were excellent! Each time I stayed it was for 10 or more days. The physical and occupational therapy programs are also wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place for my loved one.

Fantastic experience: We were looking to move my grandmother to this facility not that long ago. They have a wonderful set up, great staff, and an amazing therapy program! Although insurance wouldn't allow my grandmother to be moved because of not needing doctor care daily, I feel that a review for this facility is needed. The help that our family received from Katie was above and beyond! She was able to help and guide me with different issues that we were facing when she did not have to. I feel that when people from another facility help you when it is not their job definitely deserves to be recognized. I truly believe that whoever sends their family member to this facility will not be upset with their experience there. Again, thanks to Katie for all of her help!

They are passionate in what they do and it is evident in even the smallest interactions with patients and the outcomes they achieve. This facility is a breath of fresh air from the other facilities in town and is truly an asset to our community.
