Athletico Physical Therapy - Temperance

Fantastic experience: I've been in to this location on a few occasions. 1. My son was injuries while wakeboarding and Jared corrected all of his issues. 2. I was insured my a dock collapse where I damaged my rotator cuff. Dr. Jared Kinney and Melissa put me through a routine workout for that. The evidence of my injury are gone! Patients need to understand that you do not go to physical therapy for fun. Your visit is due to an injury. Dr. Jared had to touch and manipulate my arm to determine EXACTLY where the injury was. No, it was not comfortable. Yes, it pained me, but he advised men it to push through the pain to see how far I could go, rather to let him know and we stopped. Once he did that, the exercises he put me through specifically targeted those areas. My young son and I are now healed men. Thank you, Dr Jared and Melissa! I've referred you many times and I've never had any negative feedback from those that have been in your office! I'll continue to be a strong referral source!

Fantastic experience: I truly can’t say enough positive things about this place. I spent a number of months there this year after one and then a second total knee replacement. The staff were ALL amazing Melissa, Kevin and Jared to name a few. Their genuine kindness and concern was evident with every visit. There were many days I didn’t want to go but went and always left feeling better because of the positive reinforcement from all the staff. Highly recommend this group.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Athletico in Temperance far exceeded my expectations! My injury was severe and at times I doubted a good outcome, but with their experience and guidance I’m MORE than pleased with my progress. The staff was very supportive and encouraging during my rehab. I would like to give a shout out to them individually but would be afraid to leave someone out. If you have any doubts about going to the Temperance Athletico location, DON’T. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Great, friendly staff! Every one of them. Danzell is awesome. He was my main therapist throughout my rehab. He thoroughly explains why you're doing the rehab exercises he has you do. It's a very comfortable atmosphere. It's easy to get appointments that fit your schedule. I will definitely go back to this Athletico in Temperance for any future rehab.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Athletico to treat my carpal tunnel. I worked with occupational therapist, Eleni. She and the entire staff their were great to work with, converse with and my symptoms were cleared in a short six timeframe.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at Physical Therapy. My therapist was Danzell Harris. He was encouraging and very knowledgeable and he always had the perfect tricks to get me to a goal...... I had a total knee replacement and was always way ahead of where I needed to be post operatively.

Fantastic experience: I would like anyone reading this review to recognize Athletico Physical Therapy as the preferred rehabilitation facilities in the southeastern Michigan-Northwest Ohio area. I've had personal experience with two other facilities for outpatient therapy and after going to Athletico of Temperance MI I now know and realize what I was missing. First I would complement " Melissa " of their administrative staff. Melissa was extremely caring and great to work with during my treatments. My primary therapist was " Jered ". This man is high skilled in Sports Rehabilitation and the person you need for quick recovery. Jered even took the time to meet my Orthopedic Surgeon at the Wildwood Facility and attend a post op medical appointment. Jered felt it necessary to speak to my surgeon to determine if his skilled therapy was " on the same page " with my doctor. Working together for my benefit. I understand therapy is not easy and you have to endure pain at times, however, before you know it your have your mobility and life back quick. I had the opportunity to also work with Brecken, Kevin and Denzel. Your will not be disappointed with Athletico Physical Therapy in Temperance Michigan ( Lewis Avenue north of Smith Road in Bedford Township ).

Fantastic experience: I would recommend Athletico for anyone in need of therapy. The team is very professional and answered all my questions. My pain is gone and I have been given a at home exercise program to follow. Athletico staff strives to ensure you are given the tools for better health but also are open to any questions or help that you might need along the way.

Fantastic experience: Great facility! Had the privilege of working with Eleni Frey twice a week. Did a great job of attentiveness and care with my injury. The whole staff is knowledgeable and very polite. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I first attended an Athletico physical therapy appointment on September 1, 2021. I had exhausted what my doctor could do for me and was referred by their office. I could not stand up straight, was in excruciating pain (to get an idea of the level, consider that I slept though labor with birth of my child. So for me to say excruciating it is extremely bad.), I was not sleeping due to the pain and I could barely walk. They worked with my schedule and I had no trouble making and keeping appointments. After the very first appointment I was able to stand a bit more straight. I learned what was not working and what would. They explained what my issues were and used visual aides to help me be clear. At the second appointment I learned stretches for my specific problem and my PT worked on my locked up muscles. Yes there is work to do at home to help heal.. so I made sure I did my part too. By the third appointment I was doing considerably better. We did stretches and muscle work for a couple of weeks and then added strength exercises. By my last visit on September 29th I was improved enough for release. I highly recommend the Athletico PT in Temperance MI. They are professional and caring, but also tough on you to get your healing in a healthy way. The facility is clean and organized. I was surprised that I could do things I did not think I could at the last appointment and so thankful for the stretches and questions answered along the journey.

Fantastic experience: Jared was absolutely amazing with my 17 year old son. He had a goal to get rehabilitated for his Senior Baseball Season and Jared made sure that happened! Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This was the best experience that I have ever had at physical therapy. I have had quite a bit of therapy before going to Athletico. (Temperance Location) The staff is very caring, and knowledgeable. I was able to recover, and excel from total hip replacement faster than I expected it to take. Everyone was very friendly. I didn't want to have my appointments end. It felt like a big family gathering. I will definitely tell anyone I know who needs physical therapy to go to Athletico in Temperance Michigan.

Fantastic experience: Brecken (and the whole team at Athletico) treated me with kindness and respect throughout my treatment. They were able to work with my out-of-state insurance, which was awesome. Fantastic experience: Athletico in Temperance was my first choice for physical therapy following my double knee replacement. Not only was it conveniently located, but I had received positive reviews as well. I was not disappointed. The folks there are top notch professionals. I was set up with a program that not only fit my personal needs, but also followed my doctors requirements. Rehabilitation can be quite painful, but these folks worked with me, and my limitations to ease the discomfort. After two visits I noticed definite improvement. Unfortunately I encountered complications with the left knee (unrelated to therapy) and was forced to undergo a second total replacement of the knee. When the time came again for therapy, I of course chose Athletic. It was comforting to know I'd be dealing with competent professionals. I would highly recommend Athletico to anyone in need of P.T or O.T. Jeff K.

He noticed something no one else (PCP, orthopedic, chiropractor, and massage therapist) did simply by asking a lot of questions, really listening to me, and watching me walk. Fantastic experience: I went for plantar fasciitis and tendinitis. I had an excellent therapist, Issac who worked with my foot and provided exercises which brought relief and pain free. We also worked on balance. I am grateful. They are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would go there again if the need arises.

Fantastic experience: I spent most of my time working with Isaac and Melissa, but interacted with many staff members. They were all great. Very professional, but relaxed. They all watch you closely to make sure you are doing things correctly, and I like that they make sure you have ways to replicate the exercises at home too. The Facility is super clean, and well equipped.

Fantastic experience: My Orthopedic surgeon referred me to Athletico in Temperance, MI for physical therapy after I suffered from a frozen shoulder injury. I received excellent care from the physical therapists, Jared, Crystal, Wennie, and Drew. They helped me with exercises to regain full range of motion with my shoulder and I am feeling better than I have in months!! Thank you all for being so friendly and helpful!
