Athletico Physical Therapy - Sylvania

Fantastic experience: The staff at the Sylvania Atletico location are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful! I saw great progress! I was given a home exercise treatment plan as well! I’d highly recommend this facility to anyone! Thank you again, Nikki, Dan, Liz and Jessica !

Fantastic experience: I spent the last two months working with the physical therapists at Athletico and I could not be happier with my experience. I have never gone through any type of injury that would need the assistance of a physical therapist before this one, and I did not know what to expect. The recovery process had been pretty difficult up until that point, and I could not believe that I was already set to do physical therapy. The therapists at Athletico welcomed me in, reassured me, and instantly made me feel extremely comfortable. The therapists talk you through every step and exercise before you preform it, ask you questions, listen to concerns, answer any questions you may have, and overall make your experience the most comfortable for you. You can tell that they truly care about their patients and have a desire to aid them in their recovery in the best way they know how. Over time, it was noticeable how much progress I was making. I know that I would not be where I am today in my recovery process without the help of them. I am so grateful for the experience I had with Athletico, and I would recommend to anyone seeking help in their recovery process.

Fantastic experience: Dan and the entire team at Athletico are professional, knowledgeable, and thorough with everything that they do. They are consistently committed to meeting your rehabilitation goals. They go out of their way to answer any questions as well as make the administrative part as seamless as possible. They always take the time to listen, answer questions, and give feedback that is able to be understood and executed as a patient. If you are able to choose where you get to do your rehabilitation or physical therapy I have no reservations in recommending the Athletico team in Sylvania. Top-notch.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience here for my PT. The times are very flexible. The staff is excellent. Liz and Dan were great. They worked me through my PT, cared about my care plan, and sent me home therapy plans to my phone as well. Overall I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Loved Athletico. I was involved in determining the goals I wanted to achieve. The physical therapist found exercises that I could duplicate at home to keep me progressing forward. At the start, each session was challenging and it seemed improvement came slowly. However, every small advancement was cheered and celebrated by the trainer. In the end, I reached my goals in a shorter amount of time than I expected.

Fantastic experience: Great support to get me back up are running. Super plan and communication about what to do to get me back to health and better than normal. Highly recommended. Friendly & encouraging.

Fantastic experience: I have need physical therapy for a couple of injuries over the last two years. Each time I started treatment, I was barely able to walk. The therapists helped me develop a workable plan that led to my success! I have worked with three therapists here and they we’re all great! Everyone there , including the receptionist are so friendly. If I need more physical therapy in the future, I know just who to call!

Fantastic experience: It’s truly been an honor having to work with such amazing therapists! Such a nice experience and surely a place you should come to for recovery! They’ve helped me get back on track with my ACL and I feel super relieved to be able to play soccer again. Very kind & patient people, 100% recommend coming here!

Positive experience: I recently just finished physical therapy for my foot. Brecken was awesome and helped me immensely with my care and aftercare instructions. I also had dry needling done which helped me so much with my pain. The only thing I ever complained about was having more than one patient at a time overlapping by 15 to 30 minutes at a time. If they can just have one person at a time I think that’s beneficial. It will make it that much better of an experience for each patient. Thanks again for all that you did and I will promise to do my at home stretches!

Fantastic experience: Athletico is amazing. Especially, the one off Monroe St in Sylvania. The Staff were well trained and helped me during my recovery process from surgery I had on my Shoulder. Thank you Brecken for going above and beyond. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in need of a physical therapist.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal care, wonderful staff, great facility. 8 weeks of PT for combined knees, low back, shoulder, & neck issues. KC is extremely knowledgeable, provided explanation as to the purpose of each exercise/therapy with clear instruction, making adjustments as necessary. No pain was experienced during & after therapy, yet achieved great results through simple & small movements which strengthened the environment around my knees (bone on bone), low back (herniated L5-S1), shoulder (replacement joint) and neck (restricted from shoulder replacement). KC was very attentive to detail and provided excellent care. Absolutely the best PT I have engaged in over the years. Highly recommend. Very clean, easy scheduling, extremely kind & considerate team.

Fantastic experience: I could not walk into Athletico physical therapy on Monroe St. - but after KC Ruddy figured out multiple problems with my back and feet, I walked out pain free! Even Janet the receptionist is kind and personable. I highly recommend this for your PT needs!

If I didn't have to move back to my hometown shortly after I started, I would have loved to finish my post-op PT with KC because he is knowledgeable, personable and committed to not only your recovery process but post-recovery and getting back to your best! Fantastic experience: I had surgery on the bottom of my foot and needed physical therapy for the scar and scar tissue. Based on the reviews I chose Athletico, and I’m so happy I did. KC is extremely knowledgeable and personable. He had an answer for any question I asked and always made me feel assured. He genuinely cares about his clients and their progress. Fantastic experience: I went to KC after breaking my foot and he did a phenomenal job with my recovery. Returned after my son broke his arm and had surgery. Mary was awesome getting his daily function back and KC has been amazing getting his strength built back up to enjoy being active.

Fantastic experience: I had been dealing with knee pain for a year and a half after my first ACL surgery. During football practice I tore both meniscus in my right knee. Needed a second surgery. Came to Athletico for my rehab and can honestly say that the rehab Program was better than that of a professional football team. The care and attention you receive is unparalleled. Now my knee if back to full function and back to where it was in high school. KC Ruddy is a fantastic physical therapist and I recommend him for any of your therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: I went to this clinic in 2016 for rehab on my surgically repaired knee. Due to the severity of my injury I was out from all physical activity for about a year and a half, and through this rehab I am able to be pain free and have full mobility in all activities I choose to participate in. Every rehab session I had I would leave seeing great improvement in my mobility and strength. This is a great organization headed up by a great physical therapist KC Ruddy who is a very personable and knowledgeable about all his patients injuries, and does his absolute best to make sure all the needs of his patients are met.

Fantastic experience: I have been here multiple times for multiple injuries and always come out of here better than before and ready to play my sport again. Athletico is awesome and i would 10/10 recommend to anyone i know.

Fantastic experience: Only physical therapy I’ve been to where I see improvement daily. Everything is very well explained, and the process of recovery is easy to follow. Quick results but they are patient to make sure you are absolutely ready to return to sports or any physical activity to prevent early return injury. They jump through every hoop to get you where you need to be.

Fantastic experience: This new location is convenient, inviting and, best of all, offers the excellent therapy from K.C. that has been so effective for us in our past visits to him at Toledo location. We have benefited from his expertise after knee and hip replacements as well as occasional sports injury treatments. He and his staff, Janet, are a real asset to have nearby.

Fantastic experience: About 2 months ago I was dealing with 2 debilitating problems that made it extremely difficult to walk for any distance. I had severe pain in my lower back on the right side and I also had what I thought was a pinched nerve in my left hip area. Reluctantly I went to Athletico in Toledo and saw the PT KC Ruddy. After the very first visit I had immediate relief that allowed me to move around and walk much more easily. It was amazing. I went back twice a week for the next two weeks and since those visits I’ve not had either problem. I was amazed at how great I felt after those treatments from KC. Fantastic experience: I was in a bad accident. When I was released from the hospital was only able to lift around 15 pound dumbbells and was not even close to being able to go back to work. KC took the time to look at where is I was before accident and what I needed to do so I could get back to work as soon as possible. I recommend if you have any rehab needs go see KC.
