Fantastic experience: Innovative Therapy- Mary Thomas is a God send. A neighbor recommended Mary to me. She took me under her care and experience, to help with my pain issue. She is very thorough in honing in on what would work best for my issue. After dedication on my part and her expert wisdom, my body is in much better shape and pain issue resolved. She is an inspiration. Mary is the only therapist I will go to for anything concerning my physical needs in her field and knowledge of it. Fantastic experience: My wife suffered a stroke two years ago. While she was not affected cognitively, she lost the ability to use her left arm and presently has limited use of her left leg. Traditional physical therapy did not provide satisfactory results. We went to Innovative Therapy and Wellness on the recommendation of a good friend -- and the results from Dr. Tracy Hernandez and Christie Kananen's treatment program have been remarkable. They listened to my wife -- the patient -- and designed a creative and effective physical therapy regimen that was suited to her specific needs. We highly recommend both of these talented therapists for anyone - but especially for those patients who feel they aren't progressing in an effective manner from their current PT program.

Fantastic experience: I am beyond impressed with Andria! She is extremely intelligent and very well trained in her craft. She seems to know so much more about how to treat my symptoms than 5 doctors I have sought treatment from. I've been in pain for about 2 years and no one could help me. She went right to the cause and is now helping me recover. She deserves an award...but Ill give her a score of 20 out of a possible 10!!! Thanks Andria!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Innovative Therapy and Wellness for 8 months to treat a 10 year old injury that worsened severely following a steroid injection into my SI joint. Dr. Natalie Foret is my primary therapist, and I have seen Dr. Tracy Hernandez on numerous appointments as well. In the last 10 years, I have been to numerous doctors and numerous physical therapists. However, I have never received the quality of care and treatment as I have at ITW anywhere else. It's a completely different level of care. The physical therapists look at your whole body and assess your issue(s). They don't just focus on the area causing you pain. I always see Natalie or Tracy, and I have NEVER been put with an assistant to just watch me work through a standard set of exercises. When I started going here, it was a last ditch effort. I had been to numerous doctors and had numerous tests with no answers or relief. Every doctor was baffled. I was in so much pain, that I couldn't sit through a full meal with my family. I couldn't drive to work or travel in a car without severe pain. I was sleeping on my stomach, because it was excruciating to lay flat on my back. I was making everyone at my work meetings feel awkward, because I'd stand through meetings where everyone else sat. I had taken a lot of time off work, couldn't travel, and carried around everywhere a minimally effective cushion that just barely took the edge off of my pain. I felt trapped and had become increasingly anxious when I used to always be calm and relaxed. It's been a long road in treatment, but I can now sit without pain most of the time, I can drive further without pain, I know what my problem is, and I believe I will soon be able to do the things I haven't been able to do in some time because of pain. I haven't had to take off work for pain, and I was even able to take a long car ride to go on vacation. It is all because of Natalie and Tracy. They have been patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They have even fit me in last minute when I had a bad relapse in pain following some exercises I did that went awry. They have explained to me what is going on in a way that makes sense. In addition, they have made sense of some of my other pain/health problems that doctor's/other physical therapists could not explain, because the issues were directly related to the original injury and how my body compensated for 10 years. I am very grateful for the care I have received at Innovative Therapy and Wellness, have recommended them, and will continue to recommend them to anyone I know. Thank you ITW for exceptional, quality care.

Fantastic experience: Innovative Therapy is positivity the best physical therapy practice in Virginia Beach. I have struggled with chronic muscle weakness for many years and have received physical therapy from a number of physical therapist over the years. This is the only practice that I receive private, one on one care, for an hour with a PHD therapist. I am currently seeing Natalie Foret. She is compassionate, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. I am finally improving and retaining my strength. Natalie is fabulous! Another amazing fact about Innovative Therapy is they offer private Pilates instruction to continue strengthening and maintaining my wellbeing. The whole staff is very friendly and helpful. I am so thankful to have found Innovative Therapy!

Fantastic experience: That’s people are the best! I have worked with multiple therapists in the last three years, and all of them have helped me deal with and recover from back surgery. They have also helped me live with and still be able to use my right arm where I have a torn rotator cuff (until I have surgery.) the therapists are more than just PTs and incorporate other types of manual therapies. I highly recommend innovative Therapy and Wellness.

Fantastic experience: I have been using Innovative therapy for many years with great results. All the therapists are well trained with using different modalities, such as dry needling and myofascial release to name a couple. They are extremely kind and considerate and very professional. You receive therapy in a private room with a dedicated physical therapist, not a trainee or assistant which is the case in many other physical therapy locations. I recommend innovative therapy very highly.

Fantastic experience: I was experiencing lower back problems that other Hydrotherapy treatments were not correcting. I contacted The Therapy Network and received an evaluation by Carly Murray, who I had previously experience with. She evaluated my situation and proposed a therapy regimen to strengthen my back and abdominal area. Carly adjusted the therapy to accomodate my other physical issues. As a result, my posture improved and much of my back pain diminished. Carly is an outstanding professional with the degrees to back up her treatments. Her attitude is always cheerful and upbeat. She alsways takes the time to to explain what and why she's modifying her approach. I had to cancel my trteatment schedule due to an urgent shoulder replacement after three months, but she provided me with a follow on list of continuing exercises. Carly Murray is a top notch therapist, with a cheerful attitude and is wonderful representative of Innovative Therapy. I would also like to comment on Gina, the Insurance Guru. She is very persistent and thorough, and in my case , she had to deal with my MEDICAE/CHAMPUS account bureaucratic complexities and delays. Thanks to both Inovative Therapy professionals. Fantastic experience: Sue Parks is a-ma-zing! I previously saw five medical professionals, and although all of these helped me heal, her fascial manipulation and pelvic realignment provided dramatic relief--just one treatment session made a difference. She is friendly and cares about her patients too! I now add Natalie Foret is also a-ma-zing! When I was unable to obtain a quick appointment with Sue, I saw Natalie, and she equally resolved my aliment, and does so in a caring/friendly manner as well. Now I have two PT's that can provide expert physical therapy treatment to me (and do not doubt the others employed at ITW can as well). The front desk staff are patient, friendly, and responsive about trying to accommodate short-notice appointment scheduling.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been in and out is physical therapy for most of my life. It never really benefitted me until I got to innovative therapy. Thanks to all the great therapists I’ve seen there, I no longer live in daily chronic pain. They have really helped me change my life. From Annie to Carly to Natalie to Tracy. All The therapists I’ve seen are top notch!

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I are so blessed to have been referred to Innovative Therapy and Wellness. Tracy,Carly,Kirsten and her staff are fabulous. The treatment we receive here is wonderful. They take the time to listen and treat each individual with great care. Tracy has been a lifesaver in the treatment of my daughter ever since she received her diagnosis of EDS. I would recommend Innovative to anyone who asks.

Fantastic experience: Like any and all businesses you have highs and lows but the level of knowledge and care received here is immeasurable. Be a responsible patient and know your insurance rights before hand. There may be a wait for a new patient appointment but many places do and they are worth it. Also my recommendation is set a standing appointment ASAP as it will be one less thing to worry about. Quality over quantity here folks! I have been here on and off for 5 years and after having horrible experiences else where I can assure you this is the best place to be seen and heard as a whole not just an injury.

Fantastic experience: I have always had great results following the PT session at ITW. The PT staff is excellent and the office staff extremely helpful as well with insurance questions and appointments. I highly recommend you try these one on one private PT sessions. No big gym and the therapist having 4 patients at a time.

Fantastic experience: This practice, and especially Annie Baker, is my go to facility for anything PT. I have had knee and shoulder surgery PT from Annie Baker and she worked wonders for me! Thoughtful, professional and personable.

Fantastic experience: This facility's name perfectly describes what takes place inside. They have taken an innovative approach to healing, wellness, and educating their clients!!! The highly educated staff are professional, personable, and give their clients the best of care!!! I can't imagine receiving therapy anywhere else!!! Fantastic experience: My experience at Innovative Therapy was wonderful. From the evaluation through treatment, my physical therapist, Dr. Natalie Foret, provided expert and compassionate treatment to end my shoulder pain through a combination of manual therapy, dry needling and exercise. She took the time to fully evaluate and understand the cause of my pain and to listen carefully to my concerns. I also appreciated the one-on-one care, whether in the treatment room or the gym, and the focus on wellness by the staff. It is a bonus that massage therapists are on staff as well. Altogether this is a caring, professional and comfortable environment in which to undergo treatment. I will definitely return if any other physical therapy is needed in the future!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tracy Hernandez and staff at Innovative Therapy & Wellness are the most talented and professional physical therapy group. Dealing with chronic pain for nearly 10 years, I had yet to receive the proper diagnosis and care until I arrived at Innovative. I am now able to use my arm, I'm walking and feel overall significantly less pain. Dr. Hernandez is the most knowledgeable, patient and genuinely caring physical therapist and her staff is a reflection of that too. They use the multiple techniques for treatment, and go above and beyond in their care. I am so fortunate to be treated by the talented staff at Innovative Therapy.
