Fantastic experience: Referred here by TriCare for an inflamed Achilles tendon. Simply fantastic care from beginning to end. Michelle and her team expertly diagnosed my issues and effectively treated them over the course of about 4 months. The facilities and equipment are top notch and the front desk staff are exceptionally kind and attentive. I’m already back to running 35 miles a week with no pain.

Fantastic experience: My PCP gave me a script to possibly help with the pain I have been having from costcochondritis for the past two years. I did not want to take Nsaids frequently. I have been going to VBPT for treatment the past few weeks. I have been working with CiCi who I can highly recommend, along with her team (as well as Kristi at check-in). Very skilled, understanding, and friendly from the moment you enter the door !

Fantastic experience: I enjoy working with the PTs here, and after just a short while, I had noticeable improvement in my foot post-surgery. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the PTs are all professional, empathetic, and easy to work with.

Fantastic experience: Long story short, I had a spinal tumor. I went to physical therapy because my PCP thought it was just sciatica and after Michelle and Mike took the time to try and fix my symptoms they never once decided my age was a factor (I'm young and medical providers kept thinking I was just being a baby). They ended up referring me to a neurosurgeon and low and behold I had a spinal tumor. If it wasn't for them who knows how many more times I would've been dismissed and how much longer I would've been in pain. I HIGHLY recommend them. They were also great post spinal surgery with my rehab as well!

Fantastic experience: After trying numerous treatments for my hip bursitis & chronic back pain, I came here to get evaluated. Michelle did one of the most thorough exams I have ever received and I have continued going there twice a week for PT with her coworker Mike. The main difference between this facility & 2 other PT places I’ve been is that they do actual hands-on care along with the table exercises and equipment work. After a couple weeks with Mike, he suggested I try the dry needling for some persistent areas of pain. I’ve only had one needling session with Jessica and the pain reduction was significant. I have several more sessions with her and several more weeks with Mike but I’m so encouraged by the improvement I’m getting, I am strongly recommending this facility to anyone. Mike, Michelle & Jessica are extremely skilled and phenomenally talented in their craft, but in addition, all their assistants and front desk staff are so friendly & helpful.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for almost a year Sept 10 and they have totally fixed most of my back pain. I only get pain when I miss going for a while. They check my back alignment whenever asked no problem. I love it hear and they treat you so well, very flexible with my military schedule. They take Tricare which is extra brownie points !!!! I see Mike and Michelle for Pevic so AWESOME THE WHOLE STAFF Always give me great recommendations for at home workouts and I get therapy of talking to adults Highly recommend for back pain, leg pain, Pevic, and incontinence.

Fantastic experience: Professional and supportive of clients improving their health and well-being. I appreciate the teaching time taken by the PT assistants and Therapist. The admin front desk staff are pleasant and welcoming at each visit. My initial assessment was complete and I felt the therapist listened to my needs in development of my treatment plan. As I have progressed my treatment plan has evolved and has helped me improve. Thanks to all for helping me maximize my health.

Fantastic experience: I met Mike where he previously worked before VBPTW . He stood out in his care and dedication to his profession. Later on I needed PT so I sought him out and found VBPTW to be a friendly, professional place to have therapy. Mike is a great physical therapist. The assisting staff is also great. Later on I needed therapy for a different problem and found that Si SI is also a great physical therapist,. The office staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this organization to anyone needing PT.

Fantastic experience: Physical Therapy at Great Neck Wellness center has excellent instructors. Every time I show up there really no being late by the instructors they take you right away. They work on your problem with you to get you fixed and back to normal. So if your looking for a good Physical Therapy center. Great neck Wellness is the place to go for a very clean and sanitized place!

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! All the staff is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I had a knee issue and Mike was able to diagnose it and treat it immediately. I have followed his recommendations and it has not bothered me since. I recommend this place very highly! Best at the beach !

Fantastic experience: Where do I begin! The team at Virginia Beach Physical Therapy and Wellness are fantastic! I had the pleasure of working with Michele, Mike, Sisi and Jessica. I had knee surgery to repair an MCL, Meniscus (bla,bla,bla) and was feeling very sorry for myself. I needed a great, supportive, and motivational team to help me get through this process of healing, recovery, and believing in getting back to normal. From the first visit with Michele I knew I had made a good decision. She was professional and made the effort to understand what it was that I needed. We set the goals and the plan together with the intention of getting me back to having the confidence I needed to live my life doing the things I love – golf, tennis, soccer etc. It was HARD! It was SWEATY! It was FUN! Yes, I said it, FUN! Not your average team at VBPTW, they made this journey everything it needed to be to get me into the right frame of mind to push myself into recovery. They take you in as their own and treat you with a full heart and with full support. Their support staff is professional, friendly, and always available for scheduling or rescheduling. I used the Cryo, too, and that helped my healing process. Mike would facilitate this and ensure the process was safe and smooth with some added great conversation (a lot of jokes!). Fantastic experience: Michelle is absolutely amazing. I have been doing PFPT for a few months now and she makes me feel so comfortable. I feel like they go above and beyond for their patients and would recommend all my lady friends to start PFPT after having a baby or people like me with endometriosis

Fantastic experience: I was in severe pain in my back. Virginia Beach PT office took me in without a prescription from my doctor. After one visit, my pain was relieved. My Doctor sent a prescription after I was being treated. Every employee was great and kind. After finishing my therapy, I was much better and had exercises to continue on my own. Since then, I was talking with a friend who searched high and low for Mike, a PT assistant who works there. She said he he had helped her so much with het PT needs. Fantastic experience: So glad I found this place - it's the BEST place for physical therapy!! Michele and her staff are absolutely wonderful! I was having issues with a frozen shoulder and I was impressed by the level of care and expertise I received. Unlike other PT facilities that put you through a generic series of exercises, Michele thoroughly assessed my situation and provided specific exercises that were beneficial for my needs so that I could regain mobility again. Her caring nature helped make the pain more tolerable :) I HIGHLY recommend VBPT&W!!

Fantastic experience: All of the workers here are the kindest and hardest working people. Mrs. Michelle is amazing! She has helped me recover physically and mentally, building up my strength and confidence every session :) Kelly always has a smile on her face and is one of the easiest people to talk to during your exercises! Lauren is also so sweet and keeps me motivated during workouts. Mike is great too. He makes sure to challenge me daily and is one of the best soccer players I know. If asked politely, he will possibly do a backflip for you. I am so grateful for finding this place and becoming apart of their physical therapy family.

Fantastic experience: The amazing staff at Virginia Beach Physical Therapy & Wellness have created a friendly, professional, and relaxed environment that looks at any issue from both a medical and holistic point of view. And for the first time in several years my pain is getting better with their help. As a Tricare Prime user, the referral process is often tricky and frustrating. But not here. The staff have been overwhelmingly helpful and have gone out of their way to take care of everything for me. I would give them 10/5 stars but Google only allows me to give them 5/5! :)

Fantastic experience: Mrs. Lauren (one of the physical therapy assistants) is very kind and patient. She pushes me when I need to be pushed. She is also very attentive and works well with kids.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about VBPTW. From the moment you walk in the door you can tell this is the place to be for you physical therapy and workout needs. I have been working out with Mike for a couple years with his group lunchtime HITT classes. He always mixes things up so you never get bored. I have used muscles I didn't even know I had. Michelle is super knowledgable and has helped my aches and pains of overuse and injury feel so much better. The assistants are all friendly, helpful and encouraging, the front desk staff warm and inviting. Keep up the good work. You are an amazing team.

Fantastic experience: I have had to do PT many times over the years for sports related injuries and surgeries. My PT experience at VBPTW has been exceptional. They offer a wide range of services and are very accommodating of schedules. VBPTW has a very comfortable and motivating atmosphere. I've had the opportunity to work with all the PT's and they genuinely care about why you're there and getting you to where you want to be. One of the biggest reasons why they stand out compared to others is that offer pelvic floor physical therapy for pre and post baby. There aren't many places that offer this type of therapy and I couldn't recommend Michele more!

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic facility and staff. I started PT with them after I had a total knee replacement and I couldn't be happier with the patient care that I have received. Michele Nielson (PhD), Mike and their staff are incredible at what they do and really care about my well-being. I've made great progress under their care. The state of the art facility is top notch (like a small gym plus more) and I really love ending my sessions in the cryo-chamber. I highly recommend MIchele, Mike and her team to anyone needing physical therapy. Once my therapy is complete I intend to become a member and continue there with a physical training regimen they will develop for me. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: The faculty here is really amazing! There is such a great atmosphere here and I love coming in. They've helped me recover and get back into dancing. I'm really grateful for everything they've done for me!

Fantastic experience: They’re the Best! I have been training with Mike weekly for months and recently injured my right knee playing volleyball and Dr. Michelle Nielsen has been phenomenal! I have to have surgery and she got me right in to Dr. Kevin Bonnor within days of seeing me. Highly recommend them. They’re so nice and professional. The entire staff cares about everyone who enters their door.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Virginia Beach physical therapy and wellness since May, and I love it there. The atmosphere and family feeling is just amazing! I've never had physical therapy until going here and they made me feel so comfortable and answered any questions I had. I've primarily seen Michelle and she has been just phenomenal! But both of them go the extra mile when it comes to their patients! If I ever need physical therapy again I will be requesting and coming back! Love it there! Bonus, sometimes mike brings in his laberdoodle puppy to the office! His name is Charlie!

Fantastic experience: I have had to pleasure of having Michele and Mike as my Physical Therapist in 2010. I recently required a physical therapist and my first choice was Virginia Beach Physical and Wellness. My choice of PT's was an easy one because of my prior experience with Michele and Mike. Both are consummate professionals, with a pleasing "bed side" manner and great personalities. However, neither one miss a beat when it comes to your indivdual physical therapy needs. They are very serious when it comes to getting you where you need to be. Michele and Mike will always be my first choice as I am a testiment to their treatment . You cannot ask for a better support staff - from the office manager to the receptionist you greet upon walking through the door. SanDee, Ellen and Cathy are very warm, accommodating, extremely personable as well as very professional. Each patient walking in the door are treated are treated with the upmost importance-regardless. Kelly, a young lady who assists Mike and Michele, is currently working and going to school and is looking into the Physical Therapist field. Kelly is very personable and always has a smile on her face. She assists patients with hot packs, ice, making sure they perform their exercises correctly and anything else she is asked to do. With the training she is receiving and future educational goals, she will become a great PT. If, after and injury or surgery, you are looking for a great Physical Therapist to get you back to where you need to be then Virginia Beach Physical Therapy & Wellness is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: This facility is by far the best experience i have had doing PT. Michelle and Mike are attentive, gentle and LISTEN to everything you have to say! The staff is amazing. From the time you walk in the door, until you finish your excercises, you are treated like family, and made to feel comfortable. The facility is extremely clean and has state of the art equipment. PT isn’t meant to be pleasant, but i feel that this group makes it the most pleasant it can be! I highly recommend them to everyone!

Fantastic experience: I knew this was the right place as soon as I walked in. It wasn’t just that they have everything that you can possibly need for your specific health needs, it’s the attitude of the people who work here. From the staff to the therapists, the atmosphere is positive. They’re a team with a purpose, and that purpose is you and your specific needs. I’m way ahead of my own recovery goals after hip resurfacing, thanks to the team here. I wanted to get back into the water and surf as soon as I could, and they’ve teamed me up with Mike, a surfer himself, who has me on a sport specific plan. And, thanks to the team here, I’m back in the water surfing, just 8 weeks from my procedure, and a month earlier than I thought I’d be. They truly go the extra mile, and have a full service facility. It’s like a full gym here, complete with showers, Cryotherapy, Yoga, and so much more.

Fantastic experience: It is such a pleasure working at VBPTW! I spent 34 years in Public Education and now have the pleasure of working for two of my former students. Michele Nielsen and Michael Maugeri are amazing. They strive to assist their patients rehab in a warm, relaxed and positive environment. Fantastic experience: This facility is awesome. My son broke his leg in a high school soccer game and is now been treated by Michele and Mike ! They have worked diligently to get him healthy and ready to play his first year at college! Having a therapist that you trust is HUGE when you have to work hard to get back to where you used to be ! My husband and I stopped in to “check them out” and booked three appts for the following week. They are very professional and personable at the same time, making you feel very comfortable.
