Fantastic experience: I have a fractured head of my right humerus, and needed therapy to regain my range of motion and get back to work. I have been seeing Melissa Williams, and she is great. She has educated me, designed a program, and I am doing much better and hope to be cleared for work next week.

Fantastic experience: Melissa is incredible. Very knowledgeable and makes sure I understand why she has me do the exercises I'm doing. Fantastic experience: I love my therapy! I am learning good exercises and stretches to improve my condition. I have never been a big fan of physical therapy, but this time has been different. Fantastic experience: Melissa Williams PT, has in my personal opinion, precisely studied the individual needs to ensure individual care plans fit for individuals and recovery. Melissa Williams PT, not only had the isolated injury in consideration when writing a personal care plan to my individual recovery, but the entire effects and full bodily functions the primary injury has on the body. Melissa Williams PT, also took thorough consideration of prior injuries when writing my personal care plan with create cautions not to agitate them or futht injure me, by solely focusing on the isolated cause of my current injuries and ankle recovery. Melissa Williams PT, has pushed me in a positive and professional atmosphere to promote the safest and best recovery with the tools NOVA CARE has in their facility to offer. Melissa Williams has a passion for her patients and cares greatly about how their recovery progresses. Fantastic experience: As a nurse, I tend to be hard on my body at work and (did) a poor job taking care of myself while moving patients. I hurt my back at work and came to see Melissa for treatment. She was always so enthusiastic and knowledgeable during our visits. She tailored each time to how I was feeling that day and challenged me just enough without hurting me. I started to get stronger and feel better as the weeks went on but the thing I think that helped me the most was all the ways she taught me to safely move and transfer patients. I feel much more confident now that I can safely do my job and protect my body for years to come. I am so thankful for the very kind staff and that I am feeling much better after less than 2 months. If I ever needed treatment again I would definitely come see this team!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend NovaCare Rehabilitation in Happiness Plaza for any kind of Physical Therapy . You will meet the most caring and concern staff at Happiness Plaza. Arlene (front desk) is always pleasant and Melissa Williams is the most caring and patient PT specialist and WSU student Dakota. After a fall in February and a acute torn bicep and rotator cuff surgery. I was in the best care of NovaCare Happiness Plaza. I was told six to nine months for recovery: however with the guidance of Melissa and staff I can say I completed the PT in 4 1/2 months without restrictions. I am and will continue to be diligent about doing my own PT at home. Thank you, Happiness Plaza for the care and being patient with me!!

Fantastic experience: I am a newer RN and was injured at work 2 months into my brand new career. I was scared to death of causing myself a chronic pain issue that I would now have to deal with the rest of my career and came into PT feeling hopeless and scared. Then I met Melissa and she has been amazing! She is thorough, she is nice, and she helps you to realize that you CAN recover from whatever it is you are needing physical therapy for. She has also had a WSU PT student with her during all of my visits, Dakota, you will no doubt make an incredible Physical Therapist when she finishes school! Melissa does so well teaching, but also multitasking the floor even with multiple patients. But never once making me feel like another patient took priority over me. I highly recommend this PT office. Everything from the care provided by the physical therapist, to the super friendly receptionist Arlene helping to get your appointments scheduled and more, the entire experience has and continues to be a positive place for me and allowing me to leave there in a good mindset to recover and get back to the job I love! Fantastic experience: NovaCare is an amazing therapy facility...it is Clean, the staff is very friendly and out going.The therapist is very knowledge and explains the care plans they create for their clients. This is the 2nd time I have been to this facility and I chose to come to this one. I highly recommend trying this Rehab facility first.

Fantastic experience: I unfortunately suffered a wrist injury. I came to NovaCare for PT and am so happy I was sent here. It was a long journey, but Melissa along with other PTs helped improve my injury and help me return closer to baseline. Because of them, I'm able to do my own hair again! Not only did they help me with my injury, many days, they were also my emotional therapists! Helping me stay positive through this experience, when it was difficult. After I was no longer a patient, staff still checked on me and kept up with me, which is so nice, to actually feel like your providers really care about you. Last but certainly not least, Ms. Arlene is just such a ray of joy! So kind, inviting, caring and fun! If you need any type of rehab, definitely go to NovaCare!

Fantastic experience: Updated (1/28/2022): I have returned after an auto accident in October of 2021. They are at a new location now, however, the level of professional care remains the same. After the very first appointment I am able to sleep without painkillers. Original review: This place is conveniently located near Wesley Hospital in Wichita, with ample parking. Their rehab team is very professional and tailors patients’ rehabilitation according to individual needs. Their encouraging attitude has helped me successfully gain full functionality in the past, so this time around I specifically asked my physician to send me there. The staff is very courteous, and through patience and attention takes care of the root problem. (Yes, sometimes certain exercises do not make sense but the end result is what you really appreciate.) I would definitely- and highly - recommend this place to everyone who needs help with rehab. This team works diligently to help people regain strength; I am still walking, driving and typing away here - after two strokes.

Fantastic experience: NovaCare 5 stars, Arlene receptionist perfect setting times and adjusting time for me to get therapy in. The Therapist Melissa the most professional, knowledgeable and encourager 5 halos from me to her. Not the first rehab I've been to but the best. Arlene is bubbly and Malissa is awesome therapist who cares about her patients. I returned back here in January after my left rotator cuff surgery and the experience was awesome . Fantastic experience: I loved this NovaCare facility. Melissa consistently made assessments throughout the weeks. She was very knowledgeable and put me on the path to recovery. I was given the tools to keep myself moving in the right direction and hopefully keep moving pain free. Arlene was pleasant she was consistent in screening patients for any signs of COVID. I felt the facility was kept clean and safe. Easy enough to schedule the times and days I needed. I would recommend this facility to family, friends and patients.

Fantastic experience: This place is the best. A few months ago I sprained my ankle and Melissa really helped the healing process! Now it's stronger than my healthy ankle! I'm seeing her again for tendinitis in my knees. She helps me figure out how I can adjust my workouts so I can keep up with my fitness goals without further injuring my body. Thanks to you, the exercises and motivation, I have walked up and down the stairs 3 times today! I was dreading coming back, because I was embarrassed that I couldn’t take the stairs up to our area on the 2nd floor. But I’m doing the squats and leg strengthening exercises that you gave me and now it’s possible. You’ve really made a difference in my life. Thank You!!

Fantastic experience: I was extremely pleased with my rehab for a bad fall on my left hip, and also had a drop foot problem I've had for several years. My experience with Melissa leading me every step of the way was invaluable, and when it was completed I started rehab for Vertigo, which I've suffered from for my entire life. Her instructions and assistance in doing all the things she recommended and assisted me with helped me achieve the desired result, plus I thoroughly enjoyed my sessions with her and feel like I gained a new friend. Highest recommendation for her! I will definitely return if I have any more problems in the future.

Fantastic experience: I was sent to Novacare due to a work injury. Originally, I thought that going to P/T was pointless. I only had a pinched nerve that lasted a few days and I was already feeling better before I had my first physical therapy appointment. After a few sessions, I realized how important P/T was for me. Therapist, Melissa and Rachel the student therapist showed me ways to stretch and ergonomically move while doing tasks. My range of motion has also improved greatly. Thank you! I highly recommend.

The staff are kind and courteous but they don't coddle me and make me toe the line to get better. They answer questions and offer suggestions as needed. Fantastic experience: Staff is great, very knowledgeable and personable. Really enjoyed learning exercises that I am able to continue using at home to improve my health and decrease back pain. Also was very helpful for staff to watch and give me feedback on how to improve technique.

Fantastic experience: Our daughter has some arthritis issues. Sarah worked with her for five weeks. She showed us nightly exercises that we performed at home. Her positive and outgoing attitude kept our young daughter engaged for the whole session. Each week we saw improved range of motion and coordination. Our daughter has continued to improve and we are so glad Novacare was suggested to us.
