Fantastic experience: Thank goodness for Kansas Pelvic Health and Wellness! With the help of a one on one doctor of physical therapy, I went from being able to sit 3 minutes to 3 hours!!Receptionist April was friendly, informative, and answered all of my questions concerning pelvic health before making my first appointment putting me at ease. My initial appointment with Dr. Megan Bengtson was an extremely thorough and comprehensive whole body evaluation. Dr. Megan created an intervention plan involving internal and external pelvic therapy to address my lower tailbone (Coccyx) area including my lower back where I suffered chronic pain. After my full hour Pelvic Floor therapy sessions that included guided home therapy recommendations, I was able to go out and enjoy time with my family and friends. Thank you Dr. Megan and wonderful supportive staff members at Kansas Pelvic Health and Wellness:)

Fantastic experience: As a new mom and very active person, I can not express how major Pelvic Floor PT is to your recovery. If you’re considering it, don’t think twice about coming to KS PHW. These ladies have been the upmost supportive, kind and helpful individuals in my journey through postpartum. Learning to engage my muscles accurately in recovery, feeling “normal” surrounding pelvic trauma post birth and not experiencing incontince is worth every penny for my mental, emotional and physical health.

Pelvic floor PT can obviously be a vulnerable experience, but the Kansas Pelvic Health team is professional and I highly recommend them if you've been contemplating pelvic floor PT.

Fantastic experience: Megan, Todd, and the entire team at Kansas Pelvic Health and Wellness are awesome! After facing uncertainty with what was going on with me, and seeing urologists who made best guesses that got us nowhere; Kansas Pelvic Health became a beacon of hope in alleviating my debilitating pain. They are caring, friendly, and very private with your health. I know it can be a sensitive area and topic for men, but if you're experiencing pelvic pain and the doctors don't know why, just know there is hope and there are people at Kansas Pelvic Health who might just be able to help you too.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Kansas Pelvic Health and Wellness after sharing issues with my OBGYN. I have been seeing Dr. Abby Kelly for several months. She is such a kind person. She listens to you and addresses other issues in her scope as a DPT to provide the best results while treating your pelvic floor. When treating a sensitive area of your body, it can be very nerve-racking. Dr. Abby Kelly is very conscientious of this. She always asks permission and tells you what she is doing. She is very professional and clinical. I have never been uncomfortable when receiving treatments. If you are like me and weren’t sure what pelvic PT would entail, let me answer one of your big questions. Yes, the Dr will do internal exams (often). As I stated before, there is always approval of this prior, and it's very clinical! One last thing is insurance most likely won't cover any of it. So be prepared to pay out of pocket. In my opinion, it was worth it.

Fantastic experience: This is the place to go for athletes who are struggling with pelvic health issues. As a Track & Field Athlete, I was suffering from abdominal pain and Dr. Abby helped me to get healthier and mentally stronger.

She is knowledgeable about the schedule, so personable, and always makes me feel welcome! Dr. Abby Kelly is a phenomenal physical therapist. Fantastic experience: Ngl, when my ob/gyn recommended Megan, as the pelvic floor whisperer, I was skeptical. I didn't know what to expect and thought it was fake science. BOY WAS I WRONG! Not only is Megan very knowledgable and kind and helpful and an amazing person, she also offers a premium service in helping people with pelvic floor woes. I never knew it was so important. She is very helpful in determining what the trouble is and how it can be worked out. She is easy to talk to, even if you're feeling kinda embarrassed. My menstrual cycle pain is nearly completely gone, after about 4 sessions. I have recommended her to my whole family. I had been told that after I give vaginal birth, that urine coming out when coughing is just the way it is, to deal with it. It's not! Through a careful regime of exercises, it can go away! Very pleasantly surprised!

Fantastic experience: Wow where do I start? I’ve dealt with pelvic pain for over a year now and,consequently, other symptoms developed because of it. I come with lots of questions, anxiety, and exhaustion after trailing so many things for relief! Megan calmed my fears and pelvic floor immediately, and after my first visit, I felt instant pain relief and issues such as difficulty with urination significantly improved. Megan is soooo patient, caring, listens attentively and addresses all concerns thoroughly and compassionately!! She is top notch… there’s none like her!
