Fantastic experience: My father was recently a patient at Albuquerque Heights. The staff are extremely compassionate about their patients and his care was phenomenal. Lynn, the admissions director was very knowledgeable and helpful with all of our questions. If ever you have a loved one in need of impatient rehab I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: My brother was recently a patient at this facility after a horrible car accident. He couldn’t sit up on his own when he was released from the hospital and sent here. The rehab he received had him walking out of here on his day of discharge. The staff was very caring and prompt whenever he was in need of anything. This place is not like most nursing homes you hear about. It is very clean and the food was great according to my brother. Highly recommended for anyone that needs physical therapy to get back to their everyday life.

Fantastic experience: If you or a loved one ever need impatient rehab this place should be on the top of your list. My grandpa who lives with me and I usually care for was here after his recent hospitalization for a stroke. The nurses are very caring and compassionate for thier patients. The rehab was very helpful in getting my grandpa home with me. The admissions department made his stay easy from the start. Nursing and rehab did great while he was there and social services helped tremendously with his discharge.

Fantastic experience: Everything about my visit was both nice and professional, from the ease of parking, the assistance with the visitor registration process, the guidance to the room, and the clean and pleasant appearance of everything, to the visits by nursing staff and their response to a request. I could not have been more impressed.

Fantastic experience: **update i was contacted on here within 24 hrs and i immediately wrote the email provided and they contacted me same day and asked how they could help. I was in an crisis trying to find a place for my loved one and they were able to get a bed for them at another location and held it for them. Thank you so much! Wanted to see about sending a family member here but the few times I actually got the front desk to answer they'd send me to admissions who NEVER answered and their voicemail box was full. Eventually the front desk stopped answering too. This was during business hours. Not like I'm requesting something outrageous here, just for people to answer phones after our caseworker hadn't heard back from them for over 24 hours.

Fantastic experience: Been here three weeks now food has been great we have a menu so far had been delicious the staff here had been wonderful and helpful to my recovery and have handled a few issues I had at first but since has improved a lot

Fantastic experience: I have been here since April, then moved to another part of the facility I’m May. I have been recovering since April and in July I started my PT/OT again. This time abound I personally have been recovering and it has made my PR/OT so much better. D’lyn worked very hard with me and gave me a lot of encouragement that I really need. I also would like to thank, Julia, Darla, Misty, Daniel, Vin and I know there is a few more but I can’t remember their names but I will say they are all very amazing at their job. Fantastic experience: The PT and OT programs are the best, their evaluation is accurate and helpful, and the patients are actively participating with the program. Cleaning is very good. I want better food choices. The staff are very helpful .

Fantastic experience: There are some people in the world who go to work, do their jobs and go home. Others take those jobs to whole new level entirely. The staff here do just that. I couldn’t ask to work in a more heartfelt caring environment. The care our patients get from our clinical staff is beyond impeccable. I am truly blessed to be a part of the staff here at ABQ Heights!

Fantastic experience: The whole Occupational therapy and Physical therapy team at Albuquerque Heights stand above the rest!! Vin the Boss, or Lead is just WONDERFUL!!! They are all AMAZING!!! They got me up and running again after my most traumatic event!! I thank them all!!!

Positive experience: Was not what I expected. Was told Albuquerque Heights was not a good place for our Loved ones. I loved the registration part, was easy to find the room. The nurse who was assigned to my brother was very friendly. All in all that one nurse who was very attentive to my brother's needs took that bad remark away and made me look at Albuquerque Heights in a different way. The rooms could be cleaned, floors swept and mopped, countertops wiped down, bathroom needed cleaning and etc.

Fantastic experience: Received a complete tour from Deb, the admissions director. The facility and staff were great and the tour was impressive. The facility has everything we would have needed so we were planning to send our loved one here. However, we didn't end up needing a rehabilitation facility after all. Wanted to leave a review anyway, because we know after multiple loved ones have needed rehabilitation how hard it is to find a good one with availability.

Fantastic experience: The only reason I give a 5 star is for physical therapy and occupational therapy. Dillion, Missy & Darla were amazing with our Dad.Everything else was horrible!!!!!!!

Positive experience: We were a little nervous because mom was in a genesis rehab center before and we weren't happy with it at all. But Albuquerque heights is a nice surprise. It's clean and seems to be well managed. We were able to communicate with the staff. And we were especially impressed with mom's nurse today, Christian. He was superb and very invested in taking good care of her!

Fantastic experience: The PT, Daniel, is an outstanding care giver. Our father made excellent progress under his care. Previously PT was not successful which exemplifies the level of care Daniel provided. He is patient, kind, expert and an consistent communicator. This made our fathers stay a success!

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank ALL the Physical Therapy staff Vincent, Day, D'lyn, Matt, Darla, Daniel and Juels for not only working extremely hard to get me back to 100% but making me feel like family along the way even when I was having a bad day and I didn't want to get up out of bed. With my diagnosis of Guillain Barre Syndrome I went from not being able to feed myself to now using a walker to start walking again. With therapy I am now getting stronger and Stronger Everyday. I couldn't have done it without them! They all are truly the best!.

Fantastic experience: My mom was at the rehab center recently for a short time due to an urgent situation, but we want to give a shout out to Jennifer, Patient Tech, who was beyond professional and kind. She works so hard!! PT, OT and SLP were beyond amazing and thorough. Jordan , Director of Admissions was very responsive to mom's needs. The dietician's were very attentive to mom's vegan diet. Jim (in maintenance) was very present and caring. The entire team was there to greet and welcome mom morning after her arrival. Don't get me wrong, mom was happy to come home but grateful for the great care while at Albuquerque Heights. Thank you to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I am happy to say that I am very happy working at Albuquerque Heights I have worked for many years in many areas in many states and I know from experience that the staff here , starting from CNA and up to administration , are very very hard workers ..they are all very proactive and they make working as a team go very smooth . I am lucky to be working with such a great hard working dedicated and caring staff!

Fantastic experience: My wonderful husband had a stroke in March after 26 days in the hospital he was transferred to Albuquerque Heights and actually I was concerned at first because he would not stay in bed. I stayed at night to help him and tho this was not normal they staff were wonderful to both of us. They showed such caring and love for their patients. He went home and then fell and broke his pelvis and I insisted he go back to Heights. He is in a different unit but the attitude towards their patients is the same. He pretty much needs to be watched all the time as he tries to get up constantly which he can’t without falling. He is progressing and will come home again when he is able. A person with a stroke injury can be difficult and paranoid, they deal with this in a very patient way. They also deal with the family in a patient and loving way, I feel as tho we are family. I cannot say enough about this wonderful place, from the people at the desk as you walk in to the folks that clean. I hope he does not have to go back but I will , to support and visit them . (They welcome dogs)

Fantastic experience: All of the staff including the nurses and facilitators have been super helpful and kind. David from activities and Omo Vincent Dylan and Patrick Katrina from PT. Joel and Michelle H. Gorgegina and Mamood Geri and Brent. All the kitchen staff. They all practice a higher level of care and kindness with all of their patients. Compassion and care come first with all the staff.

Fantastic experience: The Social services department always goes above a beyond to help with discharging, ensuring the patients get their medical equipment, and making the stay at the facility as nice an experience as possible. Thank you to the staff for all your hard work and attention.

Fantastic experience: The past few years have been so challenging for everyone but particularly for healthcare workers. I am new to Albuquerque Heights but my very first impression is that, even through those challenges and tough times, the staff are so compassionate and caring. Fantastic experience: My wife, Olivia Skenandore, has been a resident at your center several times in the last months from 2021 to 2022. On April 24 she left AHHRC to be admitted to Lovelace Womens Hospital and for those last days her nurse was Maria, I do not know her last name, but she was the most compassionate and caring nurse I have ever met. Her kindness and attention to my wife's severe illness was so appreciated by both of us, and I would nominate her for an award if I could -- she is an exceptional medical professional and human. Fantastic experience: Some of my family was here for therapy and wound care. The staff was outstanding. We were lucky to be admitted. This facility is always so full. I definitely recommend coming to take a tour. It’s a beautiful facility.

Fantastic experience: Tenzin is very helpful and a good worker. She is a nice lady. Dialysis is good and the staff is so helpful and so good to me. Mariana and Matt in dialysis is very kind and nice.

Fantastic experience: I stayed here at Abq Heights to recover from COVID and needed to get stronger. And I have to say from the nurses, CNAs, therapy dept and housekeeper on the front skilled unit were amazing. I have no complaints in this facility. Call lights were answered timely, staff were nice and caring. I would like to specially thank Nurses Kyle, Janica, Tenzin and MArlene, Albert and Citlalli. CNAs Liz, Adrianna, Kinami, Lucia and Allan. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My name is Krisinda Helphinstine, And Albuquerque Heights Has been a home to me. I was in a terrible head on collision, in which I broke both of my legs, all of my ribs, colarbone and more. The CNA's are there to do anything they can for you.Bring your food,change your linens,bath you, bring you ice. The nurses couldn't be kinder or sweeter with attitudes like nurse Levenia you can't go wrong.They have alot of responsibility,as does Physical Therapy. No complaints. Just extremely grateful for Julie, Darla,Rachel,and Matt who over the past 4 months got me up and walking again. My Angels.The whole staff here is like family to me. A special Thanks to the Director Jason who is constantly checking in on his patients personally. And special mention to Shirley who has the toughest job ever of social service work plus anything else thrown at her. If your lucky enough to be sent here you'll see what I mean. Fantastic experience: I would like to thank all of the staff at Albuquerque Heights for their individualized care and efforts they put toward all of their patients. Both of my grandparents were lucky enough to be patients at Abq Heights. At times we may think that we can take on the task of taking care of our loved ones in the time of sickness. Truth is, we need help. Help by people who have taken on the task of caring for our loved ones. Care that takes great heart and dedication by the professionals that have chosen to give that compassionate care we need in our most troubling times. My grandma had a stroke while at home and lost all of her strength and the ability to walk. The therapy program was one of a kind and with time and all efforts, my grandma became strong and was able to walk on her own again. The staff members went above and beyond for my family in all aspects of care. They have left an everlasting impression in my grandparents and my families hearts. I am grateful for the safety guidelines they have put in place to keep our loved ones safe during these hard times. Thank you for everything Albuquerque Heights!

Fantastic experience: I've been in Albuquerque Heights for a month receiving antibiotics every 6 hours. I had a severe bone infection called Osteomylytis. After 3 weeks in the hospital I had no choice but to be admitted to an Rehab Facility. At 1st I had a difficult time adjusting. That's when I discovered how great some of the nurses, C.N.A.'s, medication tech's, physical & occupational therapists were. They're really great and if it weren't for the exceptional care & time they gave me I wouldn't have made it through an entire month plus a day. It's difficult to list names because there's too many especially in the nursing dept. In the P/T Dept. the two who've worked with me for a while now and I've grown to favor quite a lot & I'm going to miss are Day & Vincent (Vin). I said I wouldn't list names but I do want to mention Kristen's, R.N., name the nurse manager on my unit because she's done so much for me. I felt absolutely comfortable & relaxed with her. She has an excellent bedside manner & had a huge effect on helping me to adjust & cope with my separation anxiety. Other than mentioning Kristen (like I've already mentioned), I've got too many others to list. I'd highly recommend Albuquerque Heights for it's awesome P/T Dept.. Next they've always have a full nursing staff therefore no patient is ever neglected due to lack of staff 24 hours a day. Everything is on a routine schedule so residents know 'when' to expect 'what' like meals, etc..meds are always on time, call lights are answered quickly & messages are relayed to the nurse immediately and the nurse has been great at taking care of anything I might need or want within a reasonable amount of time. I've nothing but good things to say about this facility.

Fantastic experience: My wife spent 14 days in Albuquerque Heights Transitional Care Unit. The staff were very professional and extremely caring to her every need. The facility administration and unit manager are the most outstanding people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in a healthcare setting. As a retired Nurse and healthcare provider I was impressed with the high level of excellence the team at Albuquerque Heights displays in their day to day operations. The room my wife stayed in was well appointed and there was plenty of room for me to bring my trundle bed from home to spend the nights with my wife. Every employee was very friendly and quick to offer their assistance in whatever was required. The facility is very clean and bright and feels like home . Both my wife and I were a bit sad to leave. We are very grateful to all of the team here.

Strong therapy department who helped me reach my goals and get home a week ahead of what was predicted. Excellent physician and NP who listened and cared.
