Fantastic experience: I am suffering from long covid, which has left me in constant pain and fatigue. My medications are causing me to have memory issues and brain fog. My whole world had change completely after covid. I could not remember things, I could not focus, and my verb skills where falling short. I felt like I was losing my mind and could not mentally hand anything. After my time with Speech and memory therapy I felt like I got my mind back. The skills they help me grow and use really helped me feel like I was my old self. I could see through the fog, and push my thoughts through the pain far more clearly. They really gave me back a large portion of my life I did not know was suffering so much, because it was hard to measure compared to pain or physical losses. Michelle was so sweet, and inventive to my issues. Even though the tested states one thing, she personally could see the areas I was being impacted and felt unsure of. She worked hard to find ways to help the issues I was personally having. She was able to come from areas that I my be more comfortable in and work to the ones I was having issues and strength my mental acuity. I feel like many people would have just seen that I was testing normally and dismissed my issue because I was "fine". But she really saw I was struggling and helped me a lot! I highly appreciate her and everything she did! Thank you so much Michelle!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Nairn is an understanding and gentle person. He always lets you know what he is doing and why before he does anything. I trust him even when I'm face down getting my pain treatments. This clinic sure has a real doctor treating real patients. I appreciate everything that has been done for me up until this point.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Craig Nearn was professional, courteous, and an outstanding listener. He explained treatment options in a clear manner and allowed me to decide without pressure.

Fantastic experience: I have been an ongoing pain management out-patient at this rehab hospital for about 10+ years and have had excellent attention and care from anesthesiologists and their support staff. If it were not for these medical professionals, my quality of life would be greatly reduced. It is important for me to remark that I have not been lost in the number of patients they see day in and day out. I highly recommend anyone coming here. .

Fantastic experience: My stay at the Rehabilitation Hospital went great. The staff were very attentive, caring and professional. The therapists have a very good knowledge of their area and I was able to rebuild my body mass quickly. If you need a rehad hospital you would not go wrong using them

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the aquatics rehab program and the physical therapists at this facility. I've had two courses of treatment for 2 different knee injuries over several years, and I'm now in therapy for my lower back.The therapists and program are amazing! I wish that now the covid restrictions have been lifted that the aerobics program would start again!

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed by PTA Danielle Cook. She is extremely knowledgeable and skilled, able to understand the issues or concerns I describe and provide the right exercise regime. I appreciate the fact that she pushes and challenges me so that I can heal. I've experienced too many other PT sessions where the Therapist appears disengaged, inattentive and completely disinterested in my recovery. In my book Danielle stands out, again in her knowledge and skills, and also her advocacy for my recovery and well-being. She is such a hard worker and always well-prepared and I haven't had a ho-hum minute yet. Thanks for the best PT sessions yet Danielle! I also want to recognize Beth Cothel, my supervising PT. Beth's knowledge and understanding of injuries/weaknesses is outstanding. She is able to assess holistically and has isolated several issues that other Doctors/Specialists did not consider. I am confident that I will make a strong recovery based on her skills/knowledge/assessments. --I am deeply appreciative of her knowledge, skills and expertise. Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital, these two professionals are KEEPERS!

Fantastic experience: My Physician’s Assistant Ruben Franco is very skilled, knowledgeable, kind and attentive to my needs. I’ve never had to wait for my appointment. The office and patient rooms are clean and neat. The Medical Tower is where the Rehabilitation Clinic is located with parking in the covered tower next door. The only problem is that is never enough handicapped parking.

Fantastic experience: I have had trouble swallowing food and also some Dysphagia. My first appointment at LovelaceUNM was with Cade Haynes. One of the things was he wanted me to practice swallowing etc. He provided a memo outlining what I need to concentrate on. We discussed and practiced small bites and small sips of water after each swallow, etc. Upon arriving home, I started implementing his suggestions. My usual meals are just small amounts of food. With Cade's instructions, I have experienced a "significant " health improvement. No trouble swallowing, no Dysphagia, etc. Only small minor problem is that meal time now stretch out to ½ hour or so. Also, no TV, no distractions, just concentraiting on swallowing with different head orientations with small sips of water after each bite. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the results.

Fantastic experience: Michelle, the SLP, was so good with my 86 year old mother who needed swallowing therapy. She was patient and demonstrated all the exercises. She spoke to my mother respectfully and was patient and kind! I would recommend her to everyone - and I am a retired SLP myself, so I know what to expect!

Fantastic experience: The staff are caring knowledgeable , !!I check in my wait time has never been more than 15 min.Great listeners all the PT . Always making sure I get all my appts.that are scheduled. They even sent me home with exercise to do so helpful and encouraging!!

Fantastic experience: Lisa did such an amazing job treating my husband's OT needs. She made sure to keep his goals in mind, and we saw a huge improvement in his abilities. We are so grateful for the time we got to spend working with her. After completing OT my husband was able to do PT at this facility and work with Lindsey and Monica, who together have created such an effective therapy plan, his walking has improved tremendously and his strength has increased greatly, I am so grateful to them both. I also would like to thank all the techs who have supported his treatment Jackie, Adrian, Kobe and Jared. Everyone at this facility is so caring!

Fantastic experience: I am so unspeakably grateful for the team at Lovelace, and for Lisa, Eliza, and Donna, in particular. When I first arrived at Lovelace, I was barely able to walk and dependent on a wheelchair to get around. My hips were collapsing and needed to be replaced one after the other. Then both of my shoulders collapsed and required replacements as well. I worked with Donna and Eliza to get through my hip surgeries and start the journey to recovery. I worked with Lisa through both of my shoulders. I can’t say enough about how positive, kind, encouraging, and helpful this team has been. My physical and occupational therapy has been such a bright spot at an incredibly difficult time in my life. They kept me motivated and accountable and able to recognize improvement along the way. I was also so inspired by so many other patients I came to recognize — people who I may never meet, but who I felt a kind of solidarity with when I most needed it. This is a place of resilience and hope and incredible perseverance where everyone is working hard to get stronger and maximize their own amazing abilities. Now I’ve graduated and am walking and driving and living alone again — all things I couldn’t do for the last few years. And I couldn’t have gotten here without my therapists’ help. Thank you to the friendly staff and my amazing team of miracle workers — thank you more than I can say.

Fantastic experience: I felt at home with the Rehab Pain Clinic. I've sed the doctor's empathy and the staff's courtesy and can do attitude. This is a wonderful group for all needing rehab.

Fantastic experience: Terrain and Peter were just awsome staff at Lovelace UNM rehab Rio Rancho. Encourage me to engage in physical therapy. The entire team from front desk till ending of my session were just stunning. Will recommend this facility to everybody. I truly appreciate the staff. Fantastic experience: PT after hip surgery was extremely successful and l am so grateful for the work of Charlie Abadee! Charlie is kind, skilled, energetic and encouraging.. the greatest combo in a physical therapist. He used a variety of actions each time, helping me to regain strength, endurance, flexibility and balance. I highly recommend Charlie Abadee and the team at the Wyoming Av clinic ! A toast to recovery!

Fantastic experience: I drove From Santa Fe to Albuquerque for physical therapy with Terah Condrey and it was well worth it. She is knowledgeable and professional. I was taught many things to improve my life with an amputation I now have more confidence less pain. Now it’s up to me to continue to work/exercise I actually want to get back to work again

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience there. I felt like my provider really listened to me. The appointment was my first there. I was nervous because I have had some less than stellar first appointments in the past. (at other business, not there)From the parking being right by the door, to check in, the MA, the care given by Reuben Franco, and my check out - it was all great! We even talked about other care that may help at the same location. Thank you to everyone that took care of me.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but great words to share about Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital. The facility is well kept. The receptionist are very kind and welcoming. Beth Cothell is an amazing PT. She is tough but in a good way. And Elizabeth Linde makes going to PT fun and works me hard. I push myself to strengthen my brand new knee’s. First one was done on January 21,2022 and the right knee was done on April 21, 2022. If it wasn’t for this rehabilitation center I really don’t believe my results would have been as good as it came out. I would recommend this rehabilitation center to all who want the Best Care for their recovery!! Great Job Elizabeth Linde and Beth Cothell. But it all began with the exceptional job Dr. Christopher Hanosh did in the surgery room getting my knees replaced. He is the most caring and kindness doctor I’ve come across in sometime. His customer service is exceptional.

Fantastic experience: I had a good experience with my OT Kristy she helped me with exercises that I did while I was there and some to take home to continue my therapy at home on my wrist. Also she gave me a lot of good reading materials on protecting my joints. Thank you Kristy I feel like I make really good progress.

Fantastic experience: I stayed here after a neck laminectomy/fusion surgery. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. Especially loved my physical therapist, Hannah, and my 2 occupational therapists, Ginger and Samantha. The nurses were always on time with medications and responded to requests for assistance in a timely manner. I would recommend Lovelace UNM Rehab Hospital to anyone in need of these services.

Fantastic experience: I had physical therapy in the pool and it was a really great experience. I worked with Morgan and Monica. Monica was especially great to work with and I always looked forward to working with her, though Morgan was good too. The exercises were perfect for someone like me who's too fragile for regular pt but who really needs something other than self guided exercises. The pool was perfect for this. Getting the feedback and encouragement from Monica was something I really needed as I was going through a major fatigue episode when I had my pt, so having someone who was friendly and encouraging to me was essential because I really really wanted to quit so bad. Thank you for helping me! I'm able to get out now and walk on my own without fear of falling and I even went out to the River of Lights for the first time in many many years. That wouldn't have been possible without Monica and Morgan's help.

Fantastic experience: Michael was my physical therapist, he was easy to work with, I have a lot of chronic health issues, some that cause severe vertigo. He was able to provide me with therapy to help with the vertigo and also my newly developed lower back issues. He gave me exercises to do at home, with print outs to make it easier for me. Wonderful therapist and human being.

Fantastic experience: Matt Lovato and the whole team at Lovelace UNM Rehab Hospital on Wyoming we’re great! They did an excellent job for me and got me back to the activities I enjoy. And best of all, some other aches and pains were cured along the way, even though they didn’t seem associated with my injury. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: OK this is the best place! All staff member are great! From the girls in the front to the team in the back. I absolutely love to be here. Not only for the great service I receive to better myself physically. But mentally as well. The staff actually cares here and u can count on everyone to be there for you with a friendly smile. If u get the opportunity to work with Monica Chavez you will see how much of a firecracker she is. She has pushed me to do things I couldn't even dream of doing without her help. She's always trying to find different ways to make me work. Being I'm sure none of us are the same. I can she she has the ability to adjust to suit your needs. It is so hard to find someone so sincere about your recovery and overall health. I was able to have to honor to WALK my daughter down the isle a few months ago and I must say that I was able to do so only because of Monica's hard work and dedication to me. I absolutely love working with her! And look forward to work with her more in the future. Is Lindsey, Christine, Adrian, Sue, and everyone there in patience JJ is absolutely wonderful to work with as well. She too actually cares. So I would highly recommend this rehab for anyone. Fantastic experience: I just completed my month long Big Therapy and I would like to share my comments on entire staff; girls at office who help with check in, therapists, assistants and techs! What a great team! All were professional, friendly and helpful! Specifically I would like to recognize Danielle, Terah and Robert for their thourougness, knowledge and unending positivity! Fantastic experience: Just spent 41 days in the hospital, most of which was in LUNM Rehab. The PT, OT, and Speech therapists were absolutely fantastic, and (re-taught) me to walk, move most of my paralyzed arm, chew, and swallow. Special credit goes to Lauren (OT), Tom (PT), JJ (PT), Ana (ST), and Kristin (ST). Oh, and the nurses and techs took great care of me as well.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Janelle Jackson for treatment for Lymphedema in my legs. Janelle is the most patient OT that I have ever seen. She goes above and beyond to make sure that I am comfortable during and after treatments. She absolutely loves what she’s doing and her excitement makes me feel like I am her only patient. I just love, love, love her!!!!

Fantastic experience: Janelle Jackson is a miracle worker. After years of dealing with swollen legs due to excessive lymph fluid, I actually have ankles that I can see and enjoy. Her knowledge and professionalism have made my treatments well worth the time. I am so thankful that my primary care gave me a referral to this wonderful individual.

Fantastic experience: I would like to provide my feedback on the physical therapy I received for my back. I met with Monica several times for my therapy and I really appreciate the time and attention she applied to my case. I know she has many patients throughout the day so for her to provide such a positive attitude towards my sessions was greatly appreciated. Her concern for my pain level and well-being was always first and foremost in her work with me. I have frequented Lovelace Physical Therapy more times than I’d like to admit although the level of professionalism has kept me coming back. Fantastic experience: I enjoy loveless because they always work with me on appointments all my therapists are very very good at the job that they do and very considerate on how I'm feeling on that given day would highly recommend loveless for rehabilitation. OT could use a electrical stimulation unit that works on deep muscles. The unit they have was not effective on me.

Fantastic experience: I am pleased with the quality of care from my doctor Lynn Dawson and her staff.,Alway are considered to my disabilities and my Visual impairment. Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of having Amanda as my therapist at the downtown hospital in Oct 2021. Her humor and instructions changed my life. I got my prosthetic foot finally in Feb and 8 weeks later I was up out of my wheelchair walking. Thank you Amanda for your encouragement and great therapy sessions. I know I whined alot about that o ne machine I hated but you got me through it all. You are a treasure. I'll never forget it. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Peter was very good and helpful at explaining all the aspects of my Knee replacement therapy. We set goals and I was able to meet them. TerriAnn was also very helpful in the beginning setting me up and getting me started with my Exercise program. All in all they were very professional, considerate and caring.

Fantastic experience: They are the best. Lisa Allison pushed me to succeed at just the right pace. I couldn't ask for a more energetic and professional technician. She explain the purpose behind the PWR moves and how they relate to everyday activities. I would definitely return for another round with Lisa if allowed. The intern, Savanna, actually was an added benefit. It was great to have a younger person contributing to each session. She will make an exceptional physical therapist. Overall Lovelace/UNM Rehab provided me with just what I needed.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with Danielle and James they were awesome in helping me with my water therapy. The only problem was not having a place to change out of my wet bathing suit and going directly outside still wet, and sometimes the water was to cold for me. However, they suggested doing therapy on land which was also awesome. Thank you to both of you!

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Peter and Nancy as therapists. Professional, intelligent and great at explaining issues and needs. Always asked about my opinions and how I was feeling with therapy. I highly recommend Lovelace UNM Outpatient Rehab, especially with it being here in Rio Rancho. They worked great with Blue Cross BlueShield of New Mexico too!

Fantastic experience: My main therapist was Lindsey borders. My experience with her was first-rate. I feel like I've made tremendous progress in my time with her, and I hope I am able to have a 4 month overview with her, in the hope that I can continue to make the kind of excellent progress I've made with physical since my full knee replacement surgery. She is a personal but incredibly competent discal therapist, making sure that I work hard to to achieve the maximum results from a very substantial surgery. I have no doubt now, that I will be able to lead a Oasis Institute hike in the Elena Gallegos open space in late March and early April, given the progress I've made. I would also like to put in a good note for Danielle who I saw a few times when Lindsay already had other patients. She has a great future in front of her as a physical therapist.

Fantastic experience: I have found Dr Merhege to be very capable when finding my sore, painful areas. I did learn that there needs to be at least 2 weeks apart as we injected areas twice to find the best areas in my neck & upper back where my pain is, before we could get approval to 'ablate', zap areas to stop the pain I experience every afternoon! She explained well what she was doing which made it possible for me to relax & breath into the discomfort as the procedures progressed!

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with the treatment I received at Lovelace Rehabilitation Hospital for chronic back and leg issues that at 70+ have plagued me for many years. I had an outstanding therapist who led me through a program of both pool and "land" exercises that really helped lessen my discomfort and increase my mobility, a fact noticed by people who weren't even aware I was undergoing therapy. I heartily recommend it!

Fantastic experience: I recently started going to Lovelace rehabilitation hospital after I got diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome and I can’t recommend it enough. The doctors and staff here are so compassionate and efficient, they have done so much for me the past few months. Dr. Muche has been absolutely incredible in treating me and getting me the help I need to manage my pain. She takes the time to answer all of my questions and explains everything clearly so that I understand. I used to dread doctors appointments, but ever since I started coming here it has been an absolute pleasure. Also Isaiah is a real MVP and helped me out a lot when it came to faxing my information/referral to another hospital so I could get seen as soon as possible! Thank you guys so much, I appreciate everything you do!

Fantastic experience: As soon as I walked in I was greeted with friendly through care by one of the PT because the receptionist wasn’t in yet. She helped me through the paperwork and the process. When the receptionist arrived she explained my bill and was very friendly completing the insurance portion. PT Burr was my physical therapist. She was very friendly, very thorough and made me feel comfortable and that she valued my concerns. She insured I was completely satisfied with the knowledge I gained before leaving. Customer relations at this facility is like no other at LovelaceUNM. They went above and beyond with their CRM ! I highly recommend this location. I will only go to this one going forward
