Fantastic experience: Extremely professional folks; from check-in to Dr. Jarrell himself. Very thorough review of my X-rays, as well as explaining to me what was shown on the X-rays. I appreciate that. They were slammed with patients, I have to assume they were stressed and exhausted from the busy day - but everyone was very apologetic and kind regardless. Fantastic experience: I arrived on time and checked right in. I barely had time to sit down and I was called back for my appointment. Had my vitals checked and all the normal preliminary information gathered. Was maybe waiting a minute when I was taken for x-rays. The doctor came ina minute or 2 later. He was very thorough and explained everything. I am very happy with everything.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Refsland and the staff were wonderful. He explained the issues in my elbow clearly and it was easy to come up with a plan for my elbow. Be aware the clinic is in the mail building on the east side. That was my only problem—finding it!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience today. The whole staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful All our very friendly and willing answer questions. Dr. Allen is super. The shoulder injection by Dr Allen was so good. He answered questions about what would have to be done if injections stop working. Would recommend New Mexico Orthopedic highly.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked into the facility, I was surprised at the speed of which the check in process went. Natalie was extremely pleasant and easy to speak with! She listened when you spoke and described in detail what she found and showed a human caring demeanor!!!

Fantastic experience: Although they were busy the check in process was very quick. When I reached the Drs. reception area there was an assistant waiting for me and did not have to sit and wait. The info gathering process, x-rays and meeting with Dr. Franco was extreamly smooth. Dr. Franco was excellent.

Fantastic experience: Dr Ritchie is a very unusual doctor. He is wise without the arrogance. A very neat man. He showed me what was wrong and why it hurts and how to fix it. The admissions procedure went quickly and smoothly. I am very pleased to have gone to them.

Fantastic experience: The staff was very pleasant and assisting. Dr Chad Seidenstricker was marvelous in discussion, diagnosis and injection into my heels. So pleased that all came together as a cohesive accommodating team. I was recieved, my medical background was obtained and x-rays were completed with minutes of arrival and in advance of my meeting with Dr Seidenstriker. I was able to leave after treatment in less than 50 minutes completely satisfied. A very good experience.

Fantastic experience: Signed in at front entrance by friendly intake girls. Was directed to awaiting area with about 15 people in each section thinking "I'm gonna be here a while". My name got called about 5 minutes later by a nurse tech, again very friendly, she did a quick 2 to 3 minute interview on the nature of my visit. She walked out and not 2 minutes later Dr. Resland entered with full knowledge of my visit, went over MRI scan and gave me options. Very good visit both for my injury and timely manner of visit. Thanks again Dr. Resland!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and kind staff, doctors were thorough and I genuinely felt like they cared about my injury. They were also straight to the point which I appreciate from appointments and even though they had a lot of patients the wait wasn't extremely long.

Fantastic experience: Dr John Franco did a excellent job on my shoulder repair I am 100% satisfied. He really seems to enjoy his work and he is confident in himself. It sure does make a difference for me as the patient to feel comfortable. Thank you again and I cant wait to get my knee done.

Fantastic experience: Dr Eric Benson is very professional and compassionate. He cared about hearing what I was going through with my shoulder and resulting from my post-polio. The injection should make a huge difference on my pain level. All the doctors and caregivers I have experienced with New Mexico orthopedics have been excellent. Fantastic experience: If you want to have your butt kissed, these are not the people to see. They are REAL about everything and very up front. I truly appreciate that about them. Fast, direct and to the point. Surgery schedule is also quick didn't have to hmm and haw for months on end. Thank you so very much, y'all are awesome!

Fantastic experience: I had physical therapy at Winrock after my total knee replacement. Steve Luster was excellent. He listened each visit to my progress and concerns. He has a perfect blend of pushing to do more, building confidence in one’s ability and addressing concerns and problems.

Fantastic experience: I was impressed with how efficient and professional my appt went. Dean Showalter got right to the problem and referred me to your spine group in February. I was glad I did not have a fracture and will continue getting old gracefully along with Tylenol. Great job!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Newhoff was pleasant and patient. He discussed options with me and my daughter for what needs to be done for my hand to be functional once again. He was very gentle as he performed the injection to my hand. The office atmosphere was pleasant and staff friendly.

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment with PA Heying today and was very impressed with her attention to detail. I had a bad fall on 9/29/2023 and she was very concerned about the swelling on my left leg. She did her initial exam of me and my X-Rays, in spite of the fact that due to my leg injury, she completed my exam and pointed out where the spine had shown some defined issues. She also encouraged me to go to Urgent Care to have my leg checked out.

Fantastic experience: NM Ortho was a great experience from the ease of making an appointment to the time spent with the specialist. It is obvious from the floor plan that patient experience is a primary consideration. Staff were pleasant and well organized. Dr Allen was direct and professional in his diagnosis and communication.

Fantastic experience: This was a “second opinion” for my injury and I felt a little apprehensive. But the Medical Assistant was so upbeat and reassuring I felt better. Then when Dr. Patton came into the room with his warm smile and conversation, I was completely at ease. He immediately examined my deformed wrist including range of motion and began to discuss treatment options including surgery. Then we looked at the X-rays together and he showed me the problem areas explaining each issue very thoroughly. I would have given him a 10, but he chose to use a casual curse word during our discussion which I felt unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Refsland was extremely professional, and made me feel at ease in deciding my treatment. The shots that he gave were not painful, because he talked me through it, and eased my worries. He is a fantastic doctor!!!

Fantastic experience: The facilities were very well kept and clean. The check-in was very quick and easy. The wait time to see the doctor was very short. Dr Ot ero Lopez was very open and friendly and thoroughly explained the issues and came up with an excellent solution. It was a totally satisfying experience.

Fantastic experience: Wow! 5 stars for Amber Hoffman! She did a great job helping me with stiffness in my neck. She asked good questions, provided helpful information, demonstrated simple exercises for me to do at home, gave me the opportunity to practice them, and--best of all--used manual therapy to provide traction and stretching and kneading to relax the tight muscles and tissues in my neck and shoulders. I was amazed at how effective and long-lasting the results were! Thank you, Amber! One more comment...I was always seen promptly and on time at the Winrock location. The PT staff were all very helpful, including Taylor, who makes the appointments. Great teamwork and service!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Refsland is the best orthopedic surgeon I've ever encountered compared to the four I have consulted over the years. Five gold stars!!! He carefully examined the the arthritis in my right wrist, in which I had for months experiencing 7 or 8 level pain almost continuously, as well as my arm and elbow, determining that overly sensitive nerves were contributing to my pain. He very deliberately manipulated my fingers and thumb, ordered x-rays and explained to me in great detail the changes in the arthritis. Ultimately he gave me an injection, which I could feel was in exactly the right spot, perfectly on target. Even only two days later, I am feeling a surprising degree of relief, virtually pain-free. Amazing!! Thank you, Dr. Refsland!!!

Fantastic experience: Got in to see Dr. Patman in only 3 weeks. He was professional, yet also kind and attentive. Had a very similar experience with Dr. Refsland 3 weeks before. The staff is efficient and friendly. Definitely two thumbs up for New Mexico Orthopedics!

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr Power for a shoulder problem and he was very attentive and helped create a plan to help with my pain. The check in line seemed long but everything moved very quickly and efficiently, and the woman who helped check me in before seeing Dr Power and the woman who did my x rays were both very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Checking in with quick and I really appreciated that. Wait time and the waiting room was a tag Long but facility is extremely clean and inviting. When I got back to the exam room everyone was kind and efficient. I would totally completely recommend this facility to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Today was my very first appointment. I have never been to a first appointment that I didn't have to fill out a bunch of paper work by hand and also be in and out within 30 mins. Fantastic experience: Alex was excellent. Very professional, knowledgeable and provided excellent care. I left her office feeling less pain. The only issue I have is with the check in process. There were at least 20 people in the line, even though I arrived early the process took so long that I was late for my appointment.

Fantastic experience: Scheduling an appointment with NM Orthopedics was easy and flexible. I appreciated the reminders of my appointment. I saw the doctor pretty quickly. I was treated with courtesy and respect. He helped allay my fears of what I thought was wrong. I needed an X-ray and it was done at the site. I needed a brace and was fitted with one. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend NM Orthopedics.

Fantastic experience: A very good experience all around. Check in is very nice and direction to your waiting area was explicit. A very short wait to be called in. Secondary check in was seamless. The xray tech was very helpful and cordial. The Dr. Seemed genuinely interested in my well being. If more places were like this, we might enjoy going to the doctors for care.

Fantastic experience: Positive experience all around. I waited less than a minute on the phone, and the scheduler was very empathetic. Check-in was different, and I like it--all the stations are visible to the people waiting, so we can estimate our progress, yet there's enough space that privacy is maintained. The instructions/directions are very clear and rather whimsical. Waiting areas are comfortable, allowing patients to be sociable or withdrawn according to our own wishes. Everyone has been good about explaining things step-by-step, in terms I could understand, and ensuring my complete comfort.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Dr. Allen this morning. This was my first experience with NM Orthopedics and it was an A+ experience. There was a queue as you enter the facility, but it moved very quickly. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. Everyone was friendly and professional and VERY organized. I really appreciate that, I honestly have never seen a medical facility that well organized. Dr. Allen was wonderful. He reviewed my xrays, we talked and he provided treatment. I was back at work within an hour of me leaving work.
