Fantastic experience: Love the Indigo space. Traci Spacek is such a talented massage therapist. She is so intuitive when it comes to identifying “problem areas” or tight spots on the body & she has so many techniques to address them. Highly recommend booking a massage with Traci.

Fantastic experience: I went to Indigo and Dr. Jana Bille with a repetive motion injury to my knee from running. At that time, the pain was so bad that I was having trouble walking, climbing stairs, and sleeping. I received excellent one-on-one diagnosis and treatment in the office, and a set of prescribed at-home exercises. I had never tried dry needling before, but on her recommendation, she used that technique to address fascial tightness in my quads. After my first appointment, I felt no more pain while walking or sleeping. I continued to see Dr. Bille weekly, then biweekly, for about 7 weeks. She understood my goal was not just to reduce my pain, but to get back to running and to prevent future injury by addressing the mechanics of my stride, strengthening key muscles, and improving my balance. I came away not just healed but with a much better understanding of what I can do in the gym or at home to stay injury-free when running. Highly recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Sarah for Pudendal Neuralgia, and have had tremendous relief with her assessment and treatment program. Dr. Sarah was so patient and thorough during the initial history and assessment despite my several years of pain and various attempts at treatment. She planned a gradual program of pelvic relaxation, hip strengthening and core exercises progressing gradually over several months. Dr. Sarah patiently explained the underlying musculoskeletal origins of pudendal nerve involvement, and answered questions at each visit to help my understanding. The office environment at Indigo is a calm space with friendly and warm staff. It was a pleasant experience to come for an appointment, even during a flare of pain. Despite setbacks in my treatment plan due to other health issues, I have progressed to the point where I am pain free most days, and have many tools to deal with the few days of flaring. I am tremendously grateful to Dr. Sarah for her expertise, patience, and dedication to treating this very difficult disorder.

Fantastic experience: I have worked with both Dr. Jana and Dr. Erin at this location and had an above and beyond experience with both. Indigo excels in their expertise, education, and providing a safe space. The atmosphere is welcoming and filled with hope. Dr. Jana and Dr. Erin both explain everything thoroughly and welcomed all my questions. I cannot recommend them enough! THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience: I had treatment with Mandy for pelvic floor weakness. She was very educational as to anatomy of pelvic floor using a model. When she did my internal examination she was respectful, made certain I was comfortable in what she was doing, and she really helped me zone in on specific areas of my pelvic floor musculature. She was an excellent clinician as far as diagnosis, treatment, my homework and the results were very good. I needed 3 sessions and after that I have been using the exercises as needed to address my urinary urgency. The pelvic floor exercises have been so helpful to my overall health. I enjoyed her upbeat personality as well. Thank you Dr Mandy! The staff at the front desk were efficient and friendly. I was not kept waiting to be seen. If you are looking for a therapist to address incontinence don’t hesitate to visit this clinic. Again thank you indigo physiotherapy!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sarah is FANTASTIC!! I've seen about 7 PTs in my life and she is by far the best. She has the mind of an investigator and really tries to get to the bottom of what is going on, looking at the body as a whole. No cookie cutter core exercises. She is also just lovely and fun to talk to. Indigo as a practice is also great. It feels more like a spa, than any PT setting I've ever been to. I'm in an individual room with Dr. Sarah for a full hour and feel I'm getting tremendous care. Can't say enough good things about her and Indigo!

Fantastic experience: I was very apprehensive about my physical therapy appointment, then I met Dr. Sarah. She is a young professional who puts you at ease immediately. She is charismatic, upbeat, and extremely knowledgeable. Without a doubt, she has changed my life! Do not hesitate to make an appointment with her!!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience over about 2 months of visits. Everyone is very professional and the space is very nice. Scheduling appointments is very straightforward. Dr. Sarah Thomas was my physical therapist and she has been instrumental in helping me work toward my fitness/recovery goals. She is extremely knowledgeable and responsive and I'd recommend her and Indigo to everyone who's thinking about it!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mandy is the absolute best! She’s so kind, supportive, knowledgeable and understanding. Dr. Mandy is exactly the kind of practitioner you want in your corner. I have thoroughly enjoyed my sessions with her and my experience at Indigo. So grateful and can’t recommend both of them enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jana does magnificent work. I came in bent over with lumbar pain, and over the course of several sessions I graduated to pain free, with thoughtful exercises to help stay pain free.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Indigo Physiotherapy for anyone who has been through childbirth. They can help with any and all postpartum issues from tears to low back and hip pain. My experience with Dr. Kristin Sternowski has been incredible. I’m back to exercising and starting to feel like myself again!

Fantastic experience: WHERE do I even begin?! Dr. Sarah Thomas!!! Most of her patients come to her for pelvic floor, but I have a neck/shoulder/back injury (chronic issue with an acute exacerbation, cervical radiculopathy AKA a pinched nerve in my neck associated with muscular pain in my shoulder and back, and nerve pain down my arm and into my hand). At my first appointment Dr. Sarah assessed my issue through conversation about my history, and through physical evaluation. I have never had a more thorough appointment with any clinician, and have never felt more heard. She validated my pain and frustration, and even though we didn't treat my injury during that first visit, I left feeling better because I was finally optimistic that I was going to feel better, and knew that I could trust her to help me. Dr. Sarah is SO incredibly smart and knowledgable, but she makes her expertise approachable and helps you truly understand your problem and her treatment. She has applied a variety of manual therapies, finding what can bring me the most instant AND sustained relief. She has provided so much education during my appointments so that I can feel equipped to do the work between visits, empowering me to have some control over my injury. She referred me to her colleague (Dr. Mandy Rose at Indigo, also incredible!) when I needed a specific therapy outside of her scope, and worked with me on a plan that addressed my acute inflammation, and now with a longer term plan that I can sustain. Dr. Sarah is such a special provider, and I feel so fortunate to have found her. I plan to continue seeing her long after this injury has resolved, and see the expense as an investment in my body; appointments with Dr. Sarah are my favorite form of self-care. I know this is getting long, but I just HAVE to say what a warm, wonderful human Dr. Sarah is. She is such a light and I feel refreshed mentally and emotionally after seeing her, not just physically better. She cares so deeply and her commitment to her patients is obvious. Everything about her care is therapeutic, and I cannot recommend her enough.

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful for Indigo Physiotherapy. I had a major abdominal surgery and reconstruction that seriously affected my pelvic floor. I was having trouble healing on my own and I was worried my functioning was gone for good. Just a single visit with Dr. Joyce at Indigo helped tremendously, and over time working with her I have gradually returned back to doing all that I love to do. They create a welcoming environment and care deeply about their clients. I recommend them to anyone looking for pelvic floor physical therapy. Thank you, Kristen and team!

Mariska Lee 3 years ago

Fantastic experience: I had no clue what to expect from pelvic floor therapy. I only knew of one person who had gone themselves, and the information they shared was very vague. I asked a healthcare professional for recommendations, and Indigo Physiotherapy was her top choice. I was so excited to start on this journey, and was even more excited to see that my doctor would be someone who could possibly relate to my experience as a young, African-American woman navigating the US health system. My concerns about my health had been previously dismissed and after having two children I had never had anyone mention PT to me, until I researched on my own. Dr. Sarah far exceeded every expectation I had. She is extremely knowledgeable and personable. She makes me feel so comfortable that it's easy to share and receive the information needed to support my healing. I've been blown away to learn how various exercises, body functions and body parts work together to address one issue. I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to work with her.

Fantastic experience: I've been taking prenatal yoga classes with Rae Granofsky. This is by far no ordinary prenatal yoga class. Rae incorporates birthing/ labor poses and is a guide for movement during pregnancy. She also speaks to you throughout class about you and your baby's connection and really helps you to think about and prepare your for birth. She is such a loving force. Her yoga is not flow based but more functional healing movements that help with the things that arise in a pregnant woman's body. Her shavasina leaves you feeling amazing and connected to yourself and baby. I would recommend this class for any stage of pregnancy. Yoga ++!

Fantastic experience: I felt significant pain relief after just one session. Dr. Bille took the time to educate me about the pelvis and was so patient in working with me. Don't hesitate to come here. The space is so inviting and there is no waiting. The Dr. Bille and the staff there are so kind. I feel empowered because I have tools now to help myself at home if I ever feel pain again.

Fantastic experience: I would give more stars if I could. I am currently working with Dr. Sarah Thomas on my stage 3 bladder prolapse and many other postpartum issues after my second baby. I naturally delivered two kids 10 lbs and 9 lbs within two years. So needless to say I have a long road to recovery. My gyn has recommended a surgery and I wanted to do absolutely everything I could before getting an invasive abdominal surgery. Dr. Sarah is godsend and a miracle worker. We had a few sessions together and I can feel and see so much improvement already. She is an amazing manual therapist and very knowledgeable about my condition. In addition, I also worked with Dr. Kristin and Stacy (massage therapist) and also had great experiences. I highly recommend Indigo to all who seek professional, caring and highest quality pelvic PT and other body work.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sarah Thomas is a wonderful clinician. She has a very calming, kind nature and is extremely knowledgeable. Not only did she quickly treat my pain related to cycling but she also helped me to address other concerns as well. It felt like Dr. Thomas really cared about helping me to feel better. I am so appreciative of her and the other staff at Indigo Physiotherapy!

Fantastic experience: Indigo helped me to return to running post-partum. I saw Jana Bille around 12 months post-partum because I was still having leaking issues and I wanted to train for a triathlon. She listened to my issues, concerns and had great feedback and exercises to give me. I highly recommend Indigo for their caring, empathetic and knowledgable therapists. I'm happy to say that I completed my triathlon without peeing my pants! Thank you :)

Fantastic experience: Indigo provides very compassionate, informed care. It's so nice to be in a space where my issues are understood so well! I was seen for postpartum physical therapy, including pelvic floor therapy and dry needling. The team helped me heal a decade old injury that was exacerbated by my pregnancy and empowered me to feel in control after a difficult pregnancy/postpartum recovery.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Dr. Kristin at Indigo Physiotherapy for almost four months. The results are so much better than I hoped—transformative, in fact. I believed that I would end up needing medication, so I am thrilled that physical therapy is working for me. It is easy to talk with Dr. Kristin, who is also coordinating care with other providers. I am truly grateful for the quality of care I am receiving. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Indigo Physiotherapy is wonderful! It feels like home. When I walked into my appointment today, I started to take my shoes off instinctively, as my own house is shoes free! The quality of care is remarkable. Dr. Sam has helped me through various hip and postpartum related issues throughout the years. Her kind nature makes it easy to discuss what I’m experiencing/feeling. The strategies and exercises which she has shared have been beneficial for treating discomfort, as well as realistic to do on a regular basis. Dr. Jana has empowered me strategies to help take care of my pelvic floor and navigate SI joint difficulties. The therapists and staff have cultivated a judgement free safe space. Their insight and knowledge are unparalleled. I’m beyond grateful for Indigo Physiotherapy!

Fantastic experience: Austin is a godsend! Her work with my daughter transformed every aspect of day-to-day life. I highly recommend her for infant care needs. She’s the type of person and professional you want to have in your resource arsenal. Thank you, Austin!

Fantastic experience: I am very thankful to Austin and her expertise. She built quick rapport with both me and my daughter (5 months - post tongue and lip tie release). My daughter still had a lot of tension that Austin was able to release. Austin’s background as an IBCLC couples beautifully with craniosacral therapy she provides. We saw amazing results in what seemed like a short amount of time! Worth every out of pocket dollar ;)

Fantastic experience: Indigo Physiotherapy is my safe haven! Dr. Sam has built an incredible place for healing, where we find professionalism, experience and caring help. Personally, my IC and pelvic disfunction has improved so much!! I come all the way from Central America every 3 months to be seen by Dr.Sam, Dr.Kristen, Austin, Jessie and Tracy. These women are out of this world! From the moment you walk through the door, Abbey always greets you with such kindness and attention. Today I had a massage with Tracy and she was wonderful, her technique is flawless and simply incredible. I am in the hospitality business and I can confidently say her massage was a five star! MY INDIGO FAMILY IS THE BEST!

Fantastic experience: This was our first time having a massage ever and it was truly a wonderful experience. Traci was so easy to talk to and communicate especially with English not being our first language. She is very humble and aware of our needs. We would say she truly has gifted hands and during the massage she was able to find and soothe the achy/triggered points on our body. She would constantly ask if the pressure was too much or certain points were too tender which was very reassuring and helpful being our first time at a massage. After the massage we felt 100% relaxed and rejuvenated and found ourselves with a lot more energy in the coming days. Traci is an amazing massage therapist and we would highly recommend her expertise.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jana is a terrific therapist. She has been helping me through a very tough chronic pelvic pain condition, and I have found her insight and experience to be invaluable. The office staff are also extremely friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: I have had two sessions with Dr. Bille to to address an ongoing hip, pelvis, and lower back pain. She is incredibly thorough and thoughtful and explains things clearly and welcomes my myriad questions. After over a year of experiences in traditional PT practices (which were perfectly fine), it's really wonderful to work with a practitioner whose approach is so specific and informed.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Sarah was so kind, helpful, and informative. I honestly did not know what to expect from physical therapy, and I almost never write reviews. I have been telling many friends and even family members about my experience with Dr. Sarah and Indigo Physiotherapy though because it was so positive. Dr. Sarah helped me with the issue I presented with and also gave me insight into how my body functions in general. For a variety of reasons, going to physical therapy made me uncomfortable. But, Dr. Sarah was very supportive and easy to talk to. Strongly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I saw Austin for cranial sacral therapy for my infant son who had feeding problems and I cannot recommend her and the office enough. The office itself is beautiful and very calming with lots of parking. Austin is a miracle worker! She is so supportive and explains everything she is doing and provides realistic exercises to do at home to support your treatment plan. She also always follows up with a personalized email which is so helpful as a new parent. With her support we were able to reach our goals! Highly highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: A little about me so you know I know what I’m talking about. I have had pelvic floor issues and lower back pain since I was in my late twenties - I’m now in my 50’s. I was “lucky” back then to find out about pelvic floor therapy after seeing eight different medical doctors and getting a lot of bogus diagnosis's. It changed my life for the better. I know now that Ehlers Danlos Syndrome is the root cause and I’ll be dealing with this my whole life. Side note : my lower back pain is almost always from internal pelvic floor spasms. My lower back usually resolves when my internal spasms do. I’ve seen many pelvic floor PTs from coast to coast. I was lucky to have a great one the first go around. Someone that does manual PT & teaches you to help yourself. ( sometimes I still need help because I can’t reach it all myself ) Then we moved and finding that person was next to impossible until I met Dr Samantha Duflo. She has educated me and given me the tools to help myself. She doesn’t just stick a biofeedback wand up there and say “ breathe” like so many others do. Matter of fact I’ve never had a biofeedback wand at her place. I can go months without having to see her - that means I’m pain free living my life. She makes excellent recommendations when needed. Hands down she is worth every penny. Don’t delay - go see her and get on her wait list. Abby is very good at calling you for cancellations. Abby is front office and she’s wonderful!

Fantastic experience: They are fabulous. I came to Indigo about a year ago with public symphysis pain in the postpartum and my only regret is that I didn’t come during pregnancy. Dr. Sam was so thorough and skilled at understanding my lifestyle and needs and what I was capable of doing. I was able to build back my core of postural strength so much better after my second child with her than I did on my own with my first. If you are doubting for any reason, just go. It was money so well spent.

Fantastic experience: I saw Austin for cranial sacral therapy for my infant who had recently had a tongue tie release. The studio was calming and welcoming and Austin was gentle, knowledgeable, encouraging and all around pleasant to work with. We achieved all of my treatment goals and always looked forward to our appointments. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough positive things about Indigo Physiotherapy! From the very first response to my inquiry seeking care, they have been an amazing wealth of knowledge and compassion as I navigate my complicated health situation. Every interaction I have had with the staff has been positive. The office space is beautiful and has a welcoming, comfortable vibe. I first came to Indigo following my most recent surgeries for Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, and Retroperitoneal Fibrosis. I have been working with Dr. Patricia Hays for the the last 4 months. She has been hugely helpful in getting me through my recent complicated surgery recovery, addressing the symptoms that were not addressed in my surgeries, helping me gain control of the long standing joint issues I have had, and exploring a safe exercise protocol for hEDS. She shows me exercises in person, making sure that I am performing them with proper technique and alignment, then sends followup emails with details and photos for my at home work. She delivers explanations in a way that is easy to understand, welcomes questions and feedback, and is so helpful in creating modifications when necessary. She has also provided me with more learning resources I can refer to outside of sessions to better inform myself and understand my body. She has sent me book and podcast recommendations and is always open to talking about my experiences with them and hearing about any additional resources I happened to stumble upon. She diligently follows up with me every session, asking for updates on the exercises, my symptoms, feedback from my doctors, and checks in about how getting back to playing the flute has been. My recovery has been a long process, but I am making a lot of progress because I have an amazing support system in Dr. Trish. I can’t wait to see how things progress in the coming months!

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I saw Austin Rees soon after my daughter was born for craniosacral therapy for feeding issues. I think her hands-on therapy definitely helped my daughter, and her non-judgmental and informative approach helped me as I adjusted to motherhood! I returned to Austin about 10 months later for a craniosacral therapy/reiki session for myself, and it was wonderful. I highly recommend Austin and the team at Indigo!

Fantastic experience: I brought my daughter to work with Austin before and after her tongue and lip tie revision. The appointments were for bodywork, but Austin did so much more than just prep my daughter for her procedure. Every time we worked with Austin I learned something new. As a first time mom who was very overwhelmed, Austin helped me soothe my baby, gave me so many tips on breastfeeding, gave us floor exercises, helped with tummy time and even helped with baby wearing. I left every appointment learning something new and helpful. Also, with Austin’s support, my daughter is now exclusively breastfed. I never could have imagined that for the first two months of her life. She has a sticker on her computer that says “it takes a village to raise a mother” and I used to stare at it all the time. It is so true and I am so grateful Austin is part of my village ❤️

Fantastic experience: I love this place! I’ve been going here for physical therapy with Trish and she’s great and nice to talk to about random life events. I can also talk freely and open without feeling judged too which is important. They’ve also expanded their space while I’ve been going and it looks so good it’s a really peaceful place to go for therapy. As far as treatment goes I can see some noticeable treatments and I’ve been learning a lot of different things too. I’d definitely suggest if your looking for physical therapy that this is a nice safe space to do it.

Fantastic experience: After two years of chronic UTIs I was referred to Dr. Patricia Hays, I had never even heard of pelvic floor PT and was really nervous about what to expect and had trouble believing it would help. After just four sessions my life has completely changed and I haven't had an infection since February! Dr. Hays is kind, knowledgeable, and makes what could be a very uncomfortable situation feel so normal and easy. I cannot recommend this practice enough!

Fantastic experience: I have been meaning to write a review for Dr Sam since first visiting her 6 weeks after my first child was born. She has helped me to stay active and exercise the right way in my postpartum journey. She is so knowledgable and really cares to help her patients reach their goals. I would highly recco to any mother after childbirth.

Fantastic experience: I met with Austin before and after my daughter's tongue and lip tie release as I was very nervous to go through with the procedure and wanted to make sure we had the best outcome. She was very calm, informative, professional, and understanding through the whole process. Austin made sure we met our goals, and provided resources that could benefit our goals and treatment. I also felt very safe in the environment with the COVID precautions. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I took my 3 week old to Austin for body work at tongue tie and lip tie release. We worked together to help decrease pain while breastfeeding. Austin was wonderful to work with and made us feel super comfortable and really listened to our signs/symptoms to come up with the best treatment plan. I highly recommend Austin and Indigo physiotherapy :)

Fantastic experience: Sam DuFlo is an amazing physical therapist. Her expertise was invaluable both during pregnancy and postpartum. She makes sure that you actually get results quickly. Her kind, patient demeanor helps you feel comfortable during sessions and with approaching her with any follow up questions.

Fantastic experience: I first came to see Dr. Sam about 2 years ago when I was having extreme pain due to pelvic floor muscle spasms. Sam was very kind and professional. I felt very comfortable with her and the pleasant environment she has in the office. With the intimate nature of this type of physical therapy, a comfortable environment and kind practitioner is so important and I really could not have asked for anything more with Indigo Physiotherapy. She gave me exercises and stretches to do at home complete with little printouts with descriptions and pictures, which helped a lot so I could refer to those when I was at home. She was flexible with my schedule, allowing me not to miss work as often as I would have had I gone elsewhere. I really can't say enough good things about my experience with Indigo. I have been pain free for a year now!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Indigo Physicotherapy! Dr. Sam is kind, thoughtful, and conscientious. Her approach makes you feel in control and well cared for. I started treatment with Indigo about 7 weeks postpartum after my second delivery that resulted in tearing. I felt nervous going into my first session, but she made me feel comfortable really quickly and confident that she could help. After just a few months I feel back to health without the need for expensive or invasive surgical procedures. Dr. Sam explains everything about the process, educate you and provides you with the tools you need to return to optimal health. I wish I knew about this service after my first pregnancy!
