Fantastic experience: I have been in physical therapy before, but this was by far the best experience I have ever had. Dr. Morrissette and the staff are knowledgeable, personable, and extremely good at what they do. They were treating me for a problem I have had before (cervical disc herniation) and the therapy that was provided helped me recover faster than I ever have before. I would highly recommend Steel Creek Physical Therapy and Balance Center!

Fantastic experience: The service at Steele Creek P.T. & Balance Center can be summed up in one word...EXCELLENT! From my first visit, I felt as though the therapy sessions were being held in my family room. That's how "at home" the staff make you feel. I was almost SAD that I got well enough to no longer need PT! I looked forward to the two one-hour sessions I spent there each week. Dr. Morrissette ("Jon"), his wife, as well as Kim, Sarah and Heather...are all very warm and compassionate. And of course, the quality of therapy was top notch as well. Although my sessions were primarily with Jon, Dr. Tyler also worked on me as well on one occasion. I'm not sure if there are other P.T.'s who currently work out of that office as well...but Jon and Tyler set the bar high. I've already recommended this Center to several people for if/when they need this type of medical treatment. Keep up the great work. (#12~!!!)

Fantastic experience: Jon is so knowledgeable - he has helped me through two different injuries. He took the time to really listen and work with me. I think he is an excellent PT and highly recommend him. Unlike the large hospital owned PT clinics, you will get time and attention for your specific problem. He is also has extra certifications in many areas. The office staff is pleasant and very professional. I would never go anywhere else after finding this practice!

Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with the service here at this location they won they made me feel very comfortable. Very warm welcoming easy to talk to staff will listen to your concerns and your questions! First week I was a little depressed due to the situation that I was in but within a couple hours they made me feel so good about the future and what the help that they can bring to build the strength back up in my leg. Easy to talk to staff and during the whole process they just make you feel so comfortable.

Fantastic experience: This review is especially important to read if you have LYMPHEDEMA and are looking for a certified specialist who will give you excellent care. I've been a patient at Steele Creek Physical Therapy & Balance Center Inc. for about 2 months and my treatment comes to an end this week. This is a privately owned physical therapy clinic. I don't know how many of these small health business owners are left. I suspect not that many and I certainly wish there were more as I think a privately-owned business is more vested in its success and knows that customer or in this case patient care is the key to that success. I self-diagnosed my lymphedema condition and in that research realized that I needed a lymphedema specialist which would be a physical therapist especially trained for this condition. I had originally scheduled with one of the physical therapy chains and had to postpone due to an emergency surgery and then that specialist was no longer working there and she was the only one that this facility had on staff. During that emergency surgery at the hospital I discovered that the hospital could treat lymphedema in its physical therapy center and so I scheduled an appointment but unfortunately it was going to be 2 plus months out. I just couldn't wait any longer and so I started doing more research and that's how I found Steele Creek Physical Therapy & Balance Center Inc. I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly and able to see the lymphedema specialist who's also the owner, Dr. Jon Morrissette. The first appointment was an evaluation and on the second appointment, less than 2 weeks later, I started the treatment. I am very pleased with my care and the only downside has been its location being far from my home and so I’ve had to travel farther than preferred but it has definitely been worth it. In fact, although I was very pleased with my care, that hospital appointment that I had never cancelled came up and I decided to check it out because it was closer to my home. This had been my only lymphedema treatment experience and I wanted to see if they could do the same for me and I be close to home, but I quickly realized that they could not match or beat the superior client care that I was already receiving with Dr. Morrissette and so I stayed with his clinic. Comparing the two clinics really highlights why I favor Steele Creek Physical Therapy & Balance Center Inc.: I was able to get my initial and follow-up appointments (the treatment consists of multiple weekly visits) quickly and at times that were convenient for me. · John was knowledgeable and experienced with lymphedema and he was the one to treat me at every appointment, not an assistant or tech. · The appointments were long enough to do the proper treatment but quick enough to get me in and out to move on with the rest of my day. · Dr. Morrissette was professional, personable and caring, and so even when I felt down about my condition he would cheer me up. His wife, Carly, works in the office and she's also very pleasant and helpful. She often set my appointments and helped with ordering certain supplies that are required for maintenance of this condition. The secondary stars of the show might be their beautiful and friendly dogs, Oliver and Zoe, who are often in the office, and I was always happy to see!

Fantastic experience: I wish I had found this place sooner!! Jon and his staff are truly wonderful! I have been working on correcting my body/muscle alignment for the past 6 years and when I came to see Jon, he immediately knew where I needed full support in my areas of weakness. Fantastic experience: This little jewel in Steele Creek is a lifesaver. I had severe pain in my gluts and hamstrings and nothing could relieve it. I stretched, had massages, pain patches, warm showers and baths, ice packs, ibuprofen and nothing helped. So I did a Google search on "dry needling" since I had it done previously and found that Steele Creek Physical Therapy & Balance Center did it. Dr Morrissette is amazing. He is kind, easy to talk to and listens to your issues. We did a quick but complete assessment and I had my first session. He focused on the problem areas and resolved the issue. When I tell you within a week, I could tell a significant difference. By the time I had my second session which was 2 weeks later, my pain level had substantially decreased. I could walk without wincing. He genuinely cared about my progress. I told him that I was coming back for him to help me with my back issues. They are great.

Fantastic experience: John and team were absolutely fantastic. I came in day 1 diagnosed with Vestibular Neuronitis and could not even walk by myself. They discharged me in 4 weeks with a diagnosis that usually has a 6 week or longer recovery time. I could not be more thankful for their patience and hard work. I will recommend these guys 10 out of 10 times. Thanks again, guys!

Fantastic experience: I go here for massage therapy. I discovered this place via Groupon a couple years ago. I believe I have improved the quality of my life and the extent of my mobility by seeing their massage therapist, Thomas, once a month. He's not just one of many who gives a good massage. He's extremely knowledgeable about the body, specifically muscles and what is necessary to achieve optimal blood flow, mobility and a feeling of overall well being.

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr. Morrissette and his team after being diagnosed with “frozen shoulder”. The condition limited my range of motion significantly. It was difficult, if not impossible, to properly dress, shower, drive, lift and reach. After working with the team for several weeks, the outcome has been transformational. I have almost completely recovered my range of motion and am now able to accomplish all of the tasks that that seemed impossible just weeks ago. My treatment was personalized and designed to address my specific situation. The sessions were dynamic and evolved in accordance with my personal progress and needs. Constant communication, on-going evaluation and encouragement characterized my sessions. I recommend the services at Steel Creek without hesitation. My experience with Physical Therapy at Steele Creek was extraordinary.

Fantastic experience: When I first started therapy for my balance issues following radiation I had for an acoustic neuroma, I was skeptical that doing therapy could actually improve my balance. I was totally wrong! After about 2 months of therapy, I can say I feel normal again. I enjoyed the staff, in fact they were very accommodating and kind, working with me with severe hearing loss. I am thankful that I was recommended to Steele Creek PT, because my experience was excellent!

Fantastic experience: I was involved in a car accident on Halloween where I was rear ended by a drunk driver twice. I suffered a concussion as well as neck and back strains/sprains. I was extremely sore and uncomfortable to say the least. I was referred to Steele Creek PT and Balance Center by my doctor and had great success! I went 3 times a week up until the last 2 weeks and then I went 2 times per week. They were able to work with me on appointment times and had very flexible times. Jon and his team were great. Knowledgeable and dedicated to their patients. I also had to put in the work by making sure I did my "Homework" that I was given. I am happy to say I had my last appointment last night. I regained my muscle strength in my neck and back and do not have anymore soreness. I would highly recommend Steele Creek Physical Therapy & Balance Center for any type of physical therapy. They also have a great massage therapist as well that I would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Jon and his team were great! I went to strengthen my muscles during pregnancy and could barely walk without feeling extreme pain in my back. I felt better after just one appointment. The team is extremely nice and I really appreciate all of their help.

Fantastic experience: This is my second time with Steele Creek for rehabilitation of my vestibular system. Two years ago I had my left side SCDS (superior canal dehiscence) repaired and with the incredible attention I received from Tyler & Jon, the constant encouragement to do “my homework” I fully recovered! When I repaired my SCDS on the right side and found myself needing therapy again, of course I returned to Steele Creek! Steele Creek is a special place. The therapists work together with each other to ensure each session is specifically designed to challenge you as you work towards recovery. When you are having an “off” day, Tyler and Jon listen to your concerns, adjust the session as needed and encourage you to keep working. My recovery took place during the Covid-19 pandemic. Masks are required AND WORN by everyone! The facility is very clean and hand sanitizer is readily available. It is never crowded and all clients get temperature checked. There are many places in Charlotte that offer physical therapy. If you want a therapist who will partner with you on your recovery journey, then Steele Creek is where you should go.

Fantastic experience: With the Deep Tissue Massage, Dry Needling(ouch!) and PhysTherapy given me by Jon, Tyler, Thomas, & Saraya(oops forgive my spelling?) the staff at Steele Creek Therapy are amazing. After trying several other different physical therapy practices as well as Chiropractors and Orthopedic Doctors I finally got the best results for my back issues with Jon and his team. My questions were patiently answered, my concerns were addressed, plus everyone was friendly as well as compassionate. I'm getting stronger every week thanks to the folks at Steele Creek Therapy.

Fantastic experience: Superb care by both Jon (physical therapist) and Thomas (massage therapist). I have chronic neck, shoulder, and upper back pain and have seen many different providers over the past 14 years. Finally having lasting improvement after working with Jon and Thomas! Jon was able to isolate the exact muscles I needed to strengthen in my back (the previous PT's were unable to do this). The care I received here is definitely steps above the norm!

Fantastic experience: I have recently begun massage therapy in treatment for syndrome that I have come down with in the past three months. Thomas, the massage therapist at Steele Creek physical therapy, is absolutely excellent. He is extremely professional and his bedside manner is unrivaled. When I first started my treatment I was barely able to walk due to tightness and soreness in Hamstrings. Thomas took the Time to listen and understand my maladies. He then formulated a schedule of treatments to meet my needs. I've been receiving treatment once a week for the last two months and am happy to report that my mobility has increased significantly and my pain has decreased greatly. I would highly recommend Thomas as a massage therapist for any therapeutic needs I had Rotator Cuff surgery in September 2014. My Doctors explained to me that I would be in physical therapy for at least six weeks. My first day at Steele Creek, as I met Jon and the crew, I knew that i was in good hands. They made sure that I was constantly working, but were also very understanding of the pain that I was experiencing, After three weeks of therapy, I went back for a follow up visit with my surgeon, who was absolutely stunned with my range of motion, not to mention the strength that i'd gained in my shoulder. I was able to return to work after four weeks of therapy rather than six, and was completely released from doctor restrictions after six weeks. It's now February, 5 months after my surgery, and my shoulder is absolutely perfect. Thanks to Dr. Jon and the staff at Steele Creek! They're the best in the business!!!

Fantastic experience: Steele Creek PT rocks! The staff is very knowledgeable and dedicated to getting you better. About 10 years ago my doctor at Ortho Carolina referred me to Steele Creek PT and what a gem I found. I am an athlete that gets injured about once every three years. With each injury Steele Creek PT has helped me find my way back to running and living an active life style. Over the last 10 years they have helped me with IT band issues, weak ankles, and now tarsal tunnel syndrome. I will forever be grateful for their dedication to keeping me healthy. Dr. John is truly one of a kind and puts his heart and soul into his practice and always wants what is best for his patients.

Fantastic experience: I tore my patella tendon in February and had surgery. I did PT here for the past 3 months and the staff was great and personable. The office is small and sort of intimate with roughly 3 or so clients at a time which makes the sessions feel more personal. My treatment was moderate on a scale of conservative to aggressive and my knee feels really good and manageable by me from here on out. I would absolutely recommend this office.

Coming in with an injury can be stressful and frightening but at Steele Creek Physical Therapy and Balance Center, they've created an atmosphere that is warm and inviting and even fun! When I started, I could barely lift any weight with my right arm. I felt steady improvement throughout my 6 weeks of treatment and now my arm is back to normal and pain free! In addition to the wonderful physical therapy team, they also have an amazing massage therapist. And, my first massage was half off because I was a PT patient! Fantastic experience: I have to admit that when I first came to Steele Creek Physical Therapy and Balance Center, I was super discouraged. I had spent four months seeing doctors and searching for an answer to my dizziness. Jon right away was able to pin point that I was struggling with a vestibular hypo function, and he designed a program to help me work through this. I left the office after my free consultation feeling hopeful. It has been two months since I embarked on my physical therapy journey. I’ve made amazing progress. Jon and his staff have been wonderful, encouraging me throughout this process. They have become like family to me. Their office atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. I just “graduated” from my therapy this week. I’m not yet 100%, but definitely on my way there. Thank you Jon, Tyler, Caroline, Corrine, Trey and all you wonderful ladies in the office! Fantastic experience: I've been here for two separate problems now and had a good experience both times. The location is convenient to my office and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. I went in Nov/Dec 2017 for a herniated disc in my neck. I'll still need to have surgery for the problem but the exercises and stretches helped with the pain and numbness I was experiencing and possibly has contributed towards me being able to delay the surgery. I went again in July / August 2018 after surgery for a broken heel / subtalar joint. They did the best they could with me. I've got issues related to my tendons not healing properly but thanks to them I'm able to go up and down stairs almost normally on a good day which I was beginning to think I'd never be able to do again.

Fantastic experience: This is the first time in the US that I actually felt my health was more important than my insurance and my copay. For the initial visit I was prepared to take a couple of extra minutes to fill out some questionnaires and paperwork, but despite other reviews I do not feel it was more than somewhere else or even molesting... And I have been to several different ones in the hopes for remedies to my problems. It actually serves a good purpose because the practice personnel track patients' progresses with these questionnaires. After more than a year of chest pain that has not been caused by a specific event, Jon has been the first person to identify that I only had intercostal muscle strains and not some sort of a heart condition. I feel wonderful after a little over ten visits and now know how to incorporate a couple of muscle stretches and strengthening exercises to practice at home if they are required. I really enjoyed my morning visits to this practice and will miss them dearly, although I am happy to be a healthy person again.

Fantastic experience: I went in due to a painful shoulder and very limited range of motion. John, Taylor and Corin were fantastic! Not only has the pain completely subsided but my range of motion now allows me to do anything I want. My wife and my mother have also had excellent results from John and his team. I also would recommend dry needling therapy, this seemed to make a significant improvement quickly. I highly recommend Steele Creek Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at Steele Creek Physical Therapy. I had a shoulder impingement that I needed to try and work on before my softball season began. I had never done PT before, but I'm glad I did. Jon and Tyler were able to work me through a clear plan that helped me reach my goals. Now my previously-impinged shoulder works better than my non-injured shoulder. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic experience: Injured knee running marathon in early September. Delighted with the work done by the team at Steele Creek PT. It has helped me get back to long mileage running, after thinking for a period of time that I would never be able to do it again. Staff is super friendly, positive and very targeted in their approach to the injury. I am convinced I would not have recovered as quickly without them, and I now have a bunch of tools to use to prevent future injury during long distance runs. So grateful for this team.

Fantastic experience: I freakn love Steele Creek physical therapy. I was provided an estimated time frame to resolve my issues and Dr. Jon met every expectation within that time frame. There was never a point or time that i left disappointed. He worked hard during each visit, and explained how each exercise would change my results. Staff is also great!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here. I came in with two damaged shoulders from a zip line accident and had a dramatic improvement in range of motion and reduction of pain after 10 treatment sessions. The staff is very friendly, helpful and genuinely wants to help you. The exercises were very targeted to the condition and were just the thing to allow me to use my arms normally again and have a normal quality of life. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Just completed my sessions today for post meniscus surgery. I came to Jon and his team prior to my surgery for some issues with both my knees and was so pleased with the outcome I knew who to go see after my recent surgery. Jon and his entire team are always pleasant and were very knowledgeable throughout the entire process. While some of the exercises were challenging, my level of pain and physical strength were taken into consideration each session. Thanks to their care I have now gained a great deal of strength and physical endurance back in this knee! I am very satisfied and would highly recommend!!!

Fantastic experience: Great job by the team at Steele Creek Physical Therapy. I had a hip issue that had been bothering me for 4 months. I had done xrays, tried steroids and the next step was MRI and injections. I decided to try physical therapy first and it was a good decision. Before I began, I could not bend enough to tie my shoes nor put on my socks, my wife had to do that for me every morning for the last 4 months. After a few short visits, the improvement began and before I completed the 10 visits, I was able to put on my socks and tie my shoes. The pain in my hip was gone and my movement was completely restored after all the visits. They did a great job, I recommend them highly to anyone that needs therapy
