Fantastic experience: Facility is nice and clean the staff first priority is the residents and we pride ourselves in our job

Fantastic experience: My loved one has been in this facility for the last two months, and I have been extremely satisfied with her care. The nursing staff is kind and caring, and they always anticipate her needs. I highly recommend this facility.

Fantastic experience: My husband, Odell Beatty, was discharged from the Mecklenburg Health & Rehabilitation Center last Thursday, October 22nd, 2015. He was there for roughly nine weeks and the care and consideration he received while there was remarkable. It's hard to remember all the names but I remember some. Bruce, a therapist, works hard to help his patients, and always with a smile and a kind word. He and Dianne (and some others whose names escape me) helped to bring Odell back from a very weak state to the best he can be. Amber and Dr. Hall were very kind and their advice was invaluable. All nursing staff and 'smiling ladies' delivering meal helped make his time there pleasant. The meals were delicious and Odell always ate every bite. The center is spotlessly clean with a 'nice fresh smell' greeting you as soon as you enter the building. If I've forgotten to mention something, I'm sorry, but my final words are - Mecklenburg Health & Rehabilitation Center on Sandy Porter Rd is hard to beat.

Fantastic experience: I have toured multiple facilities and this is one of the cleanest that I have seen. The floors are immaculate. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The best thing about this rehabilitation center is the location. When I was looking for a facility, I wanted to find one close to home, so we could visit often. I would definitely recommend this rehabilitation center to anybody looking for a quality location for their loved ones.

Fantastic experience: They were so good to my Mother! The nurses were kind and caring even crying when she passed away! This just shows how much they care about the patients! I could not have found a better place on Charlotte!

Positive experience: My father is here at this facility for rehab and maybe long term care. The staff is very nice and the facility is always clean and welcoming. My Dad feels taken care of and safe here. Only issue I have is that the rooms and bathrooms are too small for roommates. Other than that we are pleased.

Fantastic experience: My sister, who is just 55 lives at Mecklenburg Health & Rehab. I just spoke with Jo Ann, my sister's evening nurse and I cried when I got off the phone. She was the kindest, most compassionate, patient and respectful nurse. JoAnn, you are definitely in your calling. Fantastic experience: My 94 mom spent 3 weeks at this facility. When I placed her at the center, I was not certain my mother would recover, as she was very weak from her two surgeries. However, the care she received from the staff was exceptional. Everyone was very kind and goal oriented to help her recover. She viewed the staff as her friends. I would recommend mechlenburg health and rehab to anyone needing rehabilitation services.

Fantastic experience: Danetta, Tracey, Iris, Doane, Alex, Samaria, Terrah, Latesha, Veronica in housekeeping, and Brier and Pat in dietary are all doing an ex elle t job takimg care of my sister. Keep up the good work. I come every other day and ahe looks great. Everyone listed should get a $2 raise. Very hard workers. I hope the workers get recognized for their hard work. Im impressed with the care she receives daily. Everyone is professional and communicates with me when changes occur. Everyone is respectful

Fantastic experience: My experience working with the therapy team was excellent. They monitored my progress carefully and was always helping me obtain my next goal. I made significant progress from having very little use of my legs to standing, exercising and walking with a walker. Tami is outstanding and is a very good leader as well as a therapist. Dylan is new but very helpful and concerned about my progress. He worked with me on gaining strength and confidence. I worked with Michelle and would rate her excellent as well. Her personality really helps in getting the message across. My CNA Courtney was very helpful with whatever I needed. This was my second stay here.

Positive experience: I've been to 17 nursing homes 64 times( in a way sad) but God has sent me to get well. This facility rates very high on my list. Especially the nursing staff, therapists,the office staff and activities. As a former teacher I rate this facility B plus.

Fantastic experience: I started working here in December of 2017. As any other facility you hear both the good and the bad. I joined the team to make a difference for anything said other than the good! I have enjoyed every day since day one! This team is here to make a difference and we will! It feels good to hear staff that’s been here for years, residents, and family members say there’s change and it’s for the better! The staff here is great. It’s like a second home with my second family! I love it!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this facility from a coworker. She knew finding a place for my grandfather was important to me. I met with the admissions director and the level of customer service that was provided was great. Everyone was very professional and knowledgeable of their program. My wife and I felt great about our decision to chose Mecklenburg Health and Rehabilitation.

Fantastic experience: Caring staff that truly show compassionate service to the residents. The residents are happy, laughing, and active. Not a facility where you will see everyone laying in bed or asleep in wheelchairs.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank everyone at Mecklenburg Health & Rehab for taking good care of my wife. The therapists were able to get her to walk. We were at another facility that looked like a ski lodge with high ceilings and chanderliers. The place was really pretty, but pretty doesn't help a person that can not stand or walk. We chose Mecklenburg. The ambulance driver said the building was older. I said older was okay as long as the people in the building are dedicated and the building ​is clean. Mecklenburg doesn't look like a ski lodge but the people here were able to get my wife to walk and climb stairs. Beautiful buildings don't help anyone. It takes dedicated​ people that want to help! Beauty fades! The other place just wanted her to go home and be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. They kept asking me if I had built the ramp for the wheelchair. I told them she was going to walk home and she was not getting there in a wheelchair. I am so glad we found an older building with great people. It's very clean (and not to mention it also had great meals too). Bruce, Grace, Tami and Christin are amazing​. She loves the whole team. The entire nursing staff has been great to the both of us. The care at Mecklenburg Health & Rehab is the best!

Fantastic experience: I have been to the burst different times an seen the staff taking excellent care of the residents. They seem very attentive to their needs. The Administrators door was open for me to talk about any concerns I had the one time I did. I thought that was important to note. When I need to place another family member to cared for I will be sure to bring them here
