Fantastic experience: I had been dealing with lower back pain for at least 18 months when I first visited ATR. I initially went there for rehab after rotator cuff surgery. I had tried PT, 4 months at a Y program, three steroid injections in my back and acupressure. My doctor had told me from the very beginning that I needed surgery. However, I wanted to try everything I could before deciding on surgery. I have been working with Chris on my back problems and I am amazed at how much better I can walk and stand. I have bursitis in my right hip and am now working with him on that. I never thought that after having PT before, that PT would be the answer to my back problems.

Fantastic experience: I never saw myself need to go to physical therapy because I always thought I took good care of myself. During my pregnancy almost three years ago, I had back pain that would not go away. I went to Ayrsley Town Rehabilitation and met with Chris, who was working with my husband. He showed me a few ways to help relieve my back pain and be comfortable for the remainder of my pregnancy. About a year ago I went again but this time to strengthen my ankle as I was suffering from a double sprain. The entire staff was nothing but courteous, fun, and professional. Each and everyone of them made sure I was doing my stretches correctly, always offered a hand when needed and found ways that were safe, yet affective in helping me get back to full range motion. Never ignore pain anywhere, get it looked at as it might be something that could affect your everyday activities. And when you do get it looked at, make sure it is with one of the best Rehabilitation centers in Charlotte, NC.

Fantastic experience: Ayrsley Town Rehabilitation is the best place to go to in Charlotte if you need help recovering from any type of an injury. I have experienced other rehab places throughout the city and have never found one as amazing as ATR. Everyone there cares about the well-being of the patients, enough so that I felt like I was a part of their family. They made every effort to provide me with the best possible experience while working towards getting better. The positive atmosphere brightened my mood and made me forget the fact that I was recovering from multiple injuries and three surgeries. These surgeries took place over a ten month span, which caused me to spend almost a year and a half at ATR doing various exercises that would allow me to recover properly. Nobody wants to get hurt, but if something happens, ATR is the place to go to. They truly personalized my plan as they took into account the fact that I was a former college athlete, which provided them with many challenges in order to get my health back to where my goals were and where I had previously been prior to getting hurt. However, they were up for the challenge. They pushed me when needed and held back when the pain prevented me from completing my exercises. They also have access to a pool, which allows their patients to experience additional variety in their personalized plans. Doing therapy in the pool allowed me to quickly gain back my strength, flexibility and range of motion. Fantastic experience: I have made several visits to Ayrsley Town Rehabilitation, and I have been very pleased with the results. I have knee pain in both legs, and the physical therapy provided has allowed me to continue to enjoy sports and activities. I enjoy the staff and the treatment is exceptional for my injuries. Fantastic experience: Everyone at ATR was awesome. I was a bit of a train wreck with my back problems. Chris was always trying new thing and discovering things that might help me. Not only were they there to help my physically, but Karen most of all spent lots of time listening to my depression rants while I was doing my excercises. We also had lots of laughts. It was a great atmosphere for rehab. Also, Lori was always helping me out with rescheduling appts or anything else I needed. I feel like I could call them up at anytime and they would do whatever they could to help. They are very caring people and I would recommend anyone going to them for treatment. Fantastic experience: I went to ATR for back pain and they quickly diagnosed and treated me. Within 2 sessions, I was walking and moving comfortably again. To quote my doctor, "Your PT saved you!" Fantastic experience: I have just finished three months of rehab for post op shoulder surgery with Lauren. Lauren was exceptional from Day One up until my last appointment. The progress of rehab was on a schedule with Lauren working with you throughout and ensuring you were taken care of while meeting protocol goals. I also worked with Chris who was outstanding as well. Fantastic experience: Nothng but praise for ATR. I have been receiving therapy from ATR for nearly two years off and on for knee and shoulder issues. The friendliness of the front end staff is exceptional, and the quality, professionalism and top of the line treatment goes beyond my expectations. As a health professional, there are certain standards expected; these were all exceeded. They are very accommodating of schedules, always pleasant, never rushing with the time needed to treat your specific condition, and they always work you in if you happen to need help on spur of the moment locations. I have never waited for therapy...always brought back immediately to begin treatment. I could never say enough about the staff; they are the best of the best. Through their various treatment modalities they have educated me on various exercises and have kept me out of surgical intervention!! The best in my book!

Fantastic experience: I have been an athlete most of my adult life and have had to be seen by multiple physical therapists through out my career due to multiple injuries, Chris and his staff at Ayrsley Town Rehabilitation are by far the best that I have come across in my 20+ years of training. They keep there mind open to new ideas and are constantly learning and bringing in new ways to help there patients. I have never worked with a PT that has cared as much about there patient as the staff at ATR does, and that is exactly why I refer all of my athletes and clients to Ayrsley Town Rehabilitation. Fantastic experience: Ayrsley Town Rehab is the only PT I trust. I went to them twice, the first was after a car accident and the second was for a knee injury. Rather then surgery, ATR's therapy and care healed my knee. I couldn't have been happier with the staff and the care they provided. They are extremely caring, friendly and accommodating. Fantastic experience: Ayrsley Rehabilitiation was largely instrumental as well as invaluable in correctly diagnosing pain in not only my shoulder pain but also pain my knee. My first visit was for shoulder pain which was diagnosed correctly prior to visiting my orthopedic doctor which confirmed the tendonitis. The second visit was for knee pain and again was correctly diagnosed prior to visiting my orthopedic doctor. The overall knowledge demonstrated by the professional staff will have me not only visiting again in the future but also recommending Ayrsley Rehabilitation to any family or friends looking for knowledgeable, friendly and more than accommodating staff. Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Ayrsley Town Rehabilitation Chris and Brian. For helping me through the process with my lower back pain. After being in an Accident I was having Really Bad sharp pain in my Lower back. Also some Muscle Soreness, Stiffness. After months of Therapy I can Honestly say A job well done. Fantastic experience: I have been treated at Ayrsley Town Rehabilitation on two separate occasions once in 2016 and again beginning in 2021. Each time after I sustained a significant injury which required surgery. Chris and the staff helped me get through painful time. They all were very professional and always wanted to know how I feeling. My second injury received the same high level of service. Brian made my rehab challenging and enjoyable at the same time. Fantastic experience: Nanci Weil was awesome. I had surgery on my right wrist and 3 weeks later, I still couldn't use my hand. My wrist was swollen and my range of motion was non-existent. 4 weeks later, after working with Nancy twice a week, I'm back to normal. On top of that, she kept me laughing and in good spirit the whole time. Thank you Ayrsley Rehab!!!!

Fantastic experience: Christopher Stulginsky, MPT is a Godsend!! I had double carpel tunnel release surgery and experienced debilitating pillar pain soon after. I contacted ATR and set up a consultation with Chris. I knew immediately that I was in the best hands! The treatment plan was explained and executed flawlessly. Through ATRs advanced laser treatment, stretching/massage exercises, and dry needling techniques I was able to return to work and normal daily activities (pain free) in no time. ATR in a nutshell.... Fantastic experience: The facility is clean. The staff was extremely pleasant. My particular therapist Dr Ells Parham was AWESOME!! He was extremely knowledgeable and patient with me. He took the time to learn me and the best ways for me to be successful with my exercises. He made an extremely difficult time quite pleasant!!

Fantastic experience: I tore my right bicep 95% and came ATR two weeks after surgery. Nanci Weil did an excellent job over the last five months of caring for, and getting me back to health. I really enjoyed the time in the office laughing and fun during our sessions. Melissa was very kind and helpful through the process. The other staff interacted with me as well. It was like going to visit friends, not just occupational therapy. I will miss coming to ATR every week. I highly recommend Nanci and ATR staff because they are very well trained, professional, and caring.

Fantastic experience: Can’t say enough good things! My left shoulder was really bothering me for about 2 months - thought it was just getting older (I’m 44) and nothing I could do. The pain stopped me from being able to do shoulder exercises at the gym and even playing with my 2 kids. That’s when I decided to reach out to Chris for help. After my first session my shoulder immediately felt better and a lot of the pain was gone. After 2 weeks of following his plan, all the pain is gone and I’d say my shoulder is back to 100% - as I can now do shoulder exercises at the gym with no pain and my 5 year old is “glad to have her daddy back who can throw her in the pool again!” Thank you Chris!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful service. Came in with some shoulder/neck pain, and with a few sessions a week for a few months, I was up and running like new again. Chris is a great guy and explains why your doing the things he has you do. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: After suffering an open book fracture of my pelvis and destroying the humeral head of my shoulder, I was in a wheelchair for three months. I was determined to get back on my feet and to work as soon as physically possible. I was elated to find a physical therapist close to my home within The Manor and couldn't have been luckier- Chris was phenomenal to work with! He helped me to walk without a walker within two weeks of being out of my wheelchair. Chris went out of his way, checking up on me in between appointments, being flexible with my tight schedule, genuinely caring about me and my recovery. If I had extra aches and issues when I went in Chris had a plan! Five months later and I'm starting to ride my bike and am able to utilize the things he taught me to get me through daily pains. I highly recommend this facility- and Chris- to anyone in need of physical therapy!

Fantastic experience: Very kind professional staff in a welcoming environment. Nate was phenomenal to work with. Incredibly knowledgeable and a great listener, he was able to provide me with exercises that targeted the injury without ever pushing it too far. I had a sports related injury and he was even able to provide exercises specifically tailored to that sport. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had 2 broken elbows and started physical therapy thankfully without surgery but very hopeless Miss Nancy was a beam of sunshine that was extremely positive and encouraging the entire time. I write this review after graduating my last day of physical therapy session , achieving full range of motion and a enthusiastic outlook on my future, I know I will always have some issues with my elbows moving forward it overall they are as close to before the accident as I can get them. It was a long road but I credit her with a great ear to talk to you a woman that gives wonderful advice and someone I will always remember for their positive outlook and encouragement.

Fantastic experience: I’d like to thank the entire Ayrsley Town Rehab team for their dedication to helping people live better lives. From flexibility in scheduling to pushing me and many others to get through tough times and get well. I had knee surgery that took me out of work for almost 11 months. Nathan my therapist who I now consider my friend instructed and supported me to excel and be able to walk again. It took plenty of hard days but thank you Nathen and team for your dedication especially during the unprecedented time our world has been going through with COVID-19 restrictions. Fantastic experience: Chris is phenomenal to work with and is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I had a cracked vertebrae in my back that I had been dealing with for 16 months. In four months working with Chris (and sometimes Nate) he helped me get from not being able to bend over without pain, to full mobility with no issues. As a former D1 football player, Chris’s level of knowledge and care exceeds that of what I had in college. If you have an injury, definitely come here.

Fantastic experience: I had a horrible finger tendon injury cutting it in multiple places requiring surgery to reattach it, and with Nanci's knowledge and expertise my hand is very much close to normal with WELL above average results. Fantastic experience: Wow! Awesome personalized therapy after bilateral knee replacements. The staff was very polite and friendly. I especially enjoyed learning why certain exercises were beneficial to my recovery. Fantastic experience: Wanted to say that the team at Ayrsley are the best. I had a difficult situation waiting for surgery. I had problems that only be fixed by surgery but I had to wait, the team worked diligently to give me any relief possible while waiting in my surgery. Then once I had my surgery they had me back in shape right away. I can't say enough about the team and their talents. Give them a chance and you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: This has been a great experience. I had never had any type of physical therapy prior to this and was not sure what to expect. I was having neck pain and a lot of tightness and stiffness. My issue was diagnosed very quickly and I was able to get relief right away.

Fantastic experience: I love to run, I was running in early October and I got extreme pain in the top of my foot and fell. I hopped the rest of the way. I went to the Urgent care, they put me in a shoe, it didn’t get better, so I went to OrthoCarolina. They said I had a bone bridge, put me in a boot, I needed an expensive custom brace and that physical therapy wouldn’t help. I listened to my body and made a PT appointment at ATR. After 1 visit with Chris, I felt immensely better. After 1 week I was running again. The solution was quick, easy and far less expensive then I was lead to believe.

Fantastic experience: I was experiencing a loss of mobility and pain in my shoulder. I went to ATR to see if I could rehab my shoulder without having surgery. I've been being treated by PT Annie Henry and she has helped me so much! In the very first session I increased my range of motion by over 30 degrees and the pain has been decreased significantly! I highly recommend Annie and the staff of Ayrsley Town Rehabilitation.

Fantastic experience: I started having pain after a car accident, and after going to my primary care physician, she recommended physical therapy. One of my friends also went to ATR for their physical therapy and my physician agreed that Chris and his staff are definitely the best in the area. I would have to agree!! Fantastic experience: I was blessed to have the opportunity to be treated by Arsley's newest PT, Annie Henry. Having experiences with 4-5 PTs in the past, I can genuinely say that Annie was the most caring, involved therapist that I have ever had. Always willing to answer an email or take a phone call to facilitate my therapeutic progression. Chris, the owner of the establishment, was great as well; truly getting to know me. He was invested in my recovery and would talk with me regularly. I would recommend this office and in particular, Annie Henry to anyone in the South Charlotte area looking for physical therapy. Fantastic experience: A big thanks to both Dr Lauren and Dr Chris. After a work injury, ATR scheduled me for a same day appointment to help me get some temporary relief and then got me back in that week for a more comprehensive evaluation. I am feeling so much better since we started care. I highly recommend this office. Great care from great people.

Fantastic experience: While I am still a work-in-progress with regard to recovering from meniscus repair to my right knee that I had done back in March, I have worked these past two months with Chris and the rest of the staff at Ayrsley Town Rehabilitation through both physical therapy and Class IV Laser therapy. Chris, Lauren, Amy and Themis have been great to work with and are skilled in a variety of PT methods and treatments to help improve your recovery. They are unique in this regard having the ability to execute a comprehensive plan for any problem. I found my knee inflamation and stability improved with exercise and laser treatments. I would highly recommend you contact them to discuss your particular physical challenges and try out their unique laser treatment procedures to alleviate pain and improve healing.
