My Doctor recommended DPT for my physical therapy and I have been very pleased with my care. Jen is a very skilled, experienced therapist and I especially appreciate her level of education and advanced certifications. Having a therapist with an advanced level of education was very important to me. I have individual attention from Jen throughout my therapy visits and she is developing an effective home exercise program that works for me. Schedule is easy and I am able to schedule appointments around my work and family obligations. Location is very good for me also. Would highly recommend DPT for therapy needs.
Jennifer has helped me with flexibility, strength, and endurance. The procedures she added for me to do at home will continue the progress. I suggest you give Doctors of Physical Therapy a call and visit when you need help. They listen, and they are the professionals.
The therapist did a great job from start to finish. I felt that they did an amazing job preparing me both physically and mentally to get back out on the field. Being an athlete, I think it's important to not only get back where you were... but exceed your expectations for recovery before you head back into competition. As a college athlete, I was constantly asking questions and asking for ways to continue to be pushed. My therapist was able to help rebuild my strength and reassure me mentally. They were also very accommodating when it came to scheduling, often staying later than needed in order to help me. Almost a year later after the injury, everything is going great. My experience at DPT has been really positive, I am grateful for the time and commitment they put into my recovery.
The staff was great at explaining the exercises and walking me through them. Klaudia, the Dr. of PT was amazing! She was very kind, a great communicator and pushed me to my limits to help speed up my healing process. She and the staff really had a great way of making me feel cared for and a part of the family. Their knowledge on my injury was critical in helping me do the best exercises to heal my injury in the safest, fastest manor.
After my injury, I wasn't sure I would be able to finish playing my senior year of soccer. DPT worked with me and my school schedule and my goals to get me back on the field faster than expected. I was able to play in the last tournament of the year, and that meant a lot to me. Thank you.
Having a Doctor of Physical Therapy working on my injury makes all the difference in the world. I feel as if I am healing so much faster with the hands on technical skill and knowledge of my therapist.
Over the past several years, I have gone to several physical therapy clinics. At Doctors of Physical Therapy they created a program that was personalized for me. I received exercises and stretches to do at home, which really helped with my healing. I still do some of those exercises today as part of my normal workout routine. The staff was professional, friendly, and courteous to all of their patients. They were able to schedule appointment times that worked with my work schedule. Thank you for helping me get back up and running again!
Denise used something that I had never tried before at other PT clinics. She did dry kneading and it really helped. I couldn't believe how quickly it helped with my neck and back pain. Thank you Denise for all of your help!

We hear it a lot: “Each time I’m coming down a flight of stairs I feel a sharp pain in my knee. It’s not necessarily hurting any other time–just when I’m stepping down. What’s going on?” Many different types of tissue could be contributing to…

Doctors of Physical Therapy (previously known as Metro Spine and Sports Rehabilitation): Reviews
Fantastic experience: I saw Jocelyn about a year ago, and I'm still benefiting from her treatment. I came in with severe pain - numbness in my fingers, shooting pain and tingling down my hands. I couldn't hold a pen or tie my shoe laces. I was worried that this was a permanent condition. Jocelyn healed me! She took the care and time to thoroughly investigate and diagnose the source of the problem. The problem was in my neck - wow. She did great treatment at the office and gave me exercises to do at home. After just 2 sessions, I was 90% better. As I progressed she changed the treatment and added more exercises for me to do at home. I am so grateful to Jocelyn. In addition to being a highly competent physical therapist, Jocelyn is a good person and a pleasure to be around. I was a teeny bit sad when she said she was ready to 'dismiss' me. If you have any issues that need physical therapy, just come here. She's the best physical therapist ever!
Fantastic experience: Metro Spine and Sports is the best physical therapy clinic I have ever been to. All physical therapists are professional, knowledgeable, and really care for you. They take time to understand your situation, build a plan that will help you and works for your situation. Jocelyn is a great professional who really cares, and follows-up. Highly recommend this clinic!
Fantastic experience: Metro Spine & Sports is by far the best physical therapy experience I've ever had. I would – and have – recommended them to my friends. The minute you walk in, you can immediately feel the good vibes. It's just a nice place to be – and that's mostly because of the staff. Jocelyn is kind, a good listener, and above all an extremely competent therapist. I had just started playing basketball, basically for the first time at age 40. So, as you may have guessed, I had a string of injuries. Jocelyn worked with me – creaking body part, by creaking body part – until I was ready to get back on the court. For me, that meant fixing my shoulders, lower-back, and left foot. It was quite an endeavor! Throughout the process, Jocelyn checked in regularly to make sure I was comfortable with the rate of progress as well as the intensity of the workouts. And, very importantly, she took the time to explain the underlying problems which caused my injuries and provided me with exercises to help avoid similar injuries in the future. So now I can do those exercises at home (for free) and not have to return to therapy (or hopefully at least not for a while). And, finally, I gotta shout-out Heaven, Jocelyn's office assistant, resident artist, and occasional PT helper. She's also lovely and a big contributor to the good vibes.
Fantastic experience: From the very first time I walked into Metro Spine and sport it’s been nothing but magical! Heaven the receptionist is such a delight always happy and cheerful! Jocelyn my physical therapist is so smart and full of knowledge. I don’t feel like a random person when I am there. It is never over crowded and she doesn’t run behind with her schedule. I can honestly say they truly care about patients which is a great feeling!
Fantastic experience: Metro Spine & Sports is absolutely fantastic. Within two years of ACL surgery, I was able to run the Chicago Marathon and complete an IRONMAN race in Louisville, KY. Thank you Jocelyn, Petar, Kelly, and Keith. You changed my life!
