Prior to coming to Sports and Ortho, I walked with a limp because of the Achilles tendonitis. I had swelling that reduced a lot, and I could walk and stretch much better after therapy. My limping has stopped.
Before coming to Sports and Ortho, I had limited mobility and range of motion in my shoulder. After my sessions, my range of motion was drastically increased and my mobility was back at where it was before my injury.
Only been here a few months, wasn’t expecting much as I hate meeting new people in this type of environment. However, I was surprisingly impressed. I came in with carpal tunnel syndrome, and shoulder issues, and i hardly feel the carpal tunnel in my wrists anymore.
I came in on my own with an Achilles issue, suspected tendonitis. Id been doing home self care and come to a point where nothing was improving. Lauren has helped bring me back to a point where I can walk with little to no discomfort, which is a huge improvement.

Sports and Ortho Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine (Bridgeport): Reviews
Fantastic experience: I was referred to sports and ortho prior to my hip replacement surgery. Afterward, I went to the Bridgeport office. There I found a group of therapist and technician whose ideas on my progressive healing process was more than I expected. I have received therapy at other franchises in the Chicago area for years and felt as if I was going through an assembly line, much was routine with no supervision on correcting and using proper form to receive the most benefits from the exercise given, I felt I could have gotten the same result from going to the gym. My treatment at sports orth has been amazing collaboratively, the team have given support and ideas and techniques that I have never experienced before in my years of thearpy such as supervision, needling, cupping, BFR, and others. I have healed from the hip replacement however, I have other issues in which I have been struggling with for years and is now getting services for it. I have and would recommend Sports-Ortho For anyone in need of extensive, intensive therapy.
Fantastic experience: The location is great, parking is available and free and most importantly everyone there is great!! The staff is very friendly, very helpful, and understanding. They really work on why you're there and suggest exercises for home to further your rehabilitation. My daughter loves this place almost too much, and for every sports injury she has we come back and they work their magic.
Fantastic experience: Quality people with quality services/interventions. Grateful to have worked with Dan, Klaudia, Victor + Ela — as they helped me prepare to get back into running (the dreaded plantar fasciitis). A shout out to y’all. I highly recommend these people who truly take the time consider to teach one another and support their clients’ journeys!
Fantastic experience: These days it is very hard to find people who are passionate about their careers, but at this location they have a full roster of dedicated professionals who are invested in their patients. No one ever wants to be hurt or in pain, but if you are in that situation then Sports and Ortho in Bridgeport is the place to go. I was injured and off of work for 9 months and had sessions 2-3x per week for two hours each. It was hard to adapt from my busy and active lifestyle to not being able to do much but the staff at the Bridgeport location made it much easier. My physical therapist Dan and Marie were very knowledgeable, adaptable and personable. They went above and beyond my expectations by going out of their way by send emails asking how I was feeling the day before my session so they can adapt and plan ahead for my next treatment. Also communicated with my doctors to ensure that I was getting the test/treatments I needed. They were very communitive with me about the anatomy of my injury and explained my specific plan/treatment at every visit. It is very obvious that this is more than just a job for them and they want all their patients to get better. With that said I am very appreciative to have had them as my physical therapist. Rosh and David would ensure that all of my stretching and strengthening exercises were done properly to ensure progress. They are both knowledgeable, personable and fun to work with. They put up with all of my bad jokes and helped make the environment fun which allowed the time to fly by. It was all the small talk, trying soppressata for the first time or naming their dog after me (lol) that helped me look forward to coming to physical therapy. Overall, I am grateful to be able to work with them. Last but not least, I have to mention the front desk staff Dawn, Amber and Liza. Every single session I was greeted by them by name with a smile. They helped make this location feel warm and welcoming. They were very diligent with communicating with my workers comp to ensure my sessions were approved and everything went smoothly. They ensured that my appointment dates and times worked best for me and would make stress free changes to the schedule when new doctor appointments were in the way. Without them being diligent, I would have had gaps in my sessions which would have halted my progress. Everything went very smooth with no issues and I am grateful. Overall, working with this team allowed me to make a full recovery and return back to work. I firmly believe that without these knowledgeable professionals, I would have had to have surgery or would still be in physical therapy. My hat is off to the entire staff and words can’t describe how happy I am to have my lifestyle back and return back to work. I strongly recommend this location and sincerely thank each and every one of you.
Fantastic experience: I've been to a few physical therapy places, but Sports & Ortho is far superior.. especially the Bridgeport location. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable and show actual concern for your well-being.
Fantastic experience: Dan, Alyssa, Claudia and techs provide individual attention. I always feel they are invested in my recovery. They are knowledgeable and creative in their approach to my recovery goals. I highly recommend Sports and Ortho! Sheri C.
Fantastic experience: Finding Sports & Ortho is the best thing I could have done for myself. Go see Payal, she is the BEST! Payal identified and helped correct long term issues that caused pain and prevented me from moving forward in my fitness goals. In addition to a stellar rehab team, the office staff (Liza) are helpful and make getting started a breeze. Do the work and you'll be feeling great in no time! Thank you, Payal & the entire Sports & Ortho team. Edited to add: thank you to Marie for her help during my second stint working with Sports and Ortho.
Fantastic experience: I just finished having therapy on my wrist, and my experience at Sports and Ortho was great. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted. Every time I walked thru the doors, I was always greeted, by front desk and the therapists. The therapists and the assistants work hard to make sure your getting the help you need. Your questions are answered. The staff is making sure you are not in pain, when your doing the therapy. When you leave, they acknowledged it. Patients are friendly to each other. Great Place Great Staff (Klaudia, Alyssa, Emma, and Victor)
Fantastic experience: Could not have asked for a better experience! Very talented professionals. It is very clear that they care about their clients and take pride in their work! Cannot thank them enough.
Fantastic experience: I have received the best treatment at Sports and Ortho after two back surgeries. Claire, Klaudia, Ela and Chris were integral to my recovery. They always allowed me, as the patient, to dictate the level of intensity for each session to not cause pain, while also encouraging testing my limits to achieve progress. They were flexible with appointment times to fit my schedule and always had me walking out feeling better than when I arrived. I hope to not need more therapy in the future, but if I do I know where I'll be going.
Fantastic experience: I've known they do great work ever since my husband was treated for his lower back pain. Many years later, I attended to get help with my TMJ and I'm so glad I did. Scott was great and I felt relief quickly. I also learned more about my jaw the different exercises I can do to relieve the discomfort. Thank you!
Fantastic experience: I had major shoulder surgery in March and started going to this facility shortly after. I would recommend this place to everyone. The whole staff makes you there main focus. From the therapists all the way to the desk people. Great place
Fantastic experience: I had a tight upper back for 2-3 years which resulted in me straining my right trap. Prior to my strained trap, I went to a few chiropractors and multiple massage places throughout the city to treat my tight back, but I never felt like the services I received treated the issue. I am highly impressed by the results I've had from going to Sports and Ortho in Bridgeport. Not only did they treat my strained trap, but they helped me with my tight upper back, and they taught me some things to strengthen and stretch my back. I exercise regularly and can do intermediate/advanced yoga, so I must empathize that I am impressed by what they were able to teach me. Last but not least, I have to thank Dan, Klaudia, Amber, and Ela for the exceptional service they provided. People joke and tell me they can't believe someone taught me some new stretches.
Fantastic experience: Glad I chose Sports Ortho on 31st Canal great people to do rehab with made me feel comfortable from day 1 from Dan Gilkey on down BEST GROUP EVER I would highly recommend them.
Fantastic experience: Tore my meniscus & was referred for treatment I'm pretty confident in saying that after PT, both knees work better than before I injured one, so 5
Fantastic experience: I came here immediately when I started limping after an injury from a workout and it was the best decision ever! I was able to train responsibly for my triathlon race and did amazing because of them! Highly recommend for any type of injury!
Fantastic experience: Great staff and service. Had been here before back in 2014 and had the same experience as I had recently. Definitely worth the time and effort. These employees really know their job and they have no problem putting you to work, and yet they do it with care. If I need to, I will without a doubt, go back to them.
Fantastic experience: Just want to shout out to Sports and Ortho for fixing my recurring knee issue. The entire staff was great. Would like to thank Dan, Klaudia. Alyssa, Chris, Ela, Dawn and Debbie for their commitment to rehabilitation and getting me back to normal.
Fantastic experience: The staff is truly personable and knowledgeable. I absolutely love every member at the Bridgeport location. Clair, is very funny and has helped me progress from no moment to unprecedented range of motion within two weeks. I originally started out with Rush Midwest Orthopedic but they were too short staffed to take me in as a new patient. So I decided to look into other spots and found availability and Sports and Ortho Physical Therapy at the Bridgeport location. Going to this location was one of the best decisions made post surgery. Small in space but big in patient care and service.
Fantastic experience: I appreciate the team Dan and the young ladies showed me that physical therapy is more than the result of an Auto accident claim. I really couldn't lift my arms and my knees hurt daily .in one visit Dan corrected my gate and gave me assistance that eradicated the pain and now I'm in the gym again. I had two torn rotator cuffs and doc said surgery. I said physical therapy and now I have more than 80% mobility in both arms . I'm in gym again and riding my bike with confidence
Fantastic experience: Sports Ortho worked on both replaced knees eight months apart. I can’t imagine a better physical therapy experience. The combination of needleling, cupping, massages, manipulations, exercises and counseling made for a comprehensive and thoughtful prescription. The best.
Fantastic experience: Sports Ortho worked on both replaced knees eight months apart. I can’t imagine a better physical therapy experience. The combination of needleling, cupping, massages, manipulations, exercises and counseling made for a comprehensive and thoughtful prescription. The best.
Fantastic experience: I've been going to this location for a broken arm that needed surgery to repair, and I have been very happy with both the results and the staff's attention to my care. Everyone from the office folks to the PT staff are great people who really make sure they're doing everything they can for you during your recovery journey. I was referred by a friend, and I'm glad I made the decision to go here for my physical therapy.
Fantastic experience: I’ve been to physical therapy before but none like SPORTS AND ORTHO IN BRIDGEPORT!! I’ve had right shoulder pain for years due to bench pressing but Dan and his team fixed me up. I can bench pain free now. Everyone here is friendly and professional. Also to note, they work closely with fire/police personnel so they understand how to incorporate your everyday movement with injury you may have sustain from work. Thanks again to everyone at Sports and Ortho in Bridgeport :)
Fantastic experience: The team at Sports and Ortho is great! I worked with Klaudia who was always professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable. I came to Sports and Ortho to get help with upper back pain, and I feel significantly better! They varied my treatment according to my needs each time. I highly recommend this place for your physical therapy needs!
Fantastic experience: Coming to Sports and Ortho was likely the best choice I’ve made for my health ever. Sprained my ankle 2 years ago training for a marathon and have been dealing with the repercussions since. The team at Sports and Ortho was great, they gave me a holistic plan that helped me heal, become more flexible, and mitigate pain. I’m happy to have came, and feel ready to marathon again.
Fantastic experience: I just want to say that Sports and Ortho is great and doctor Dan is the best. I walked in 4 months ago unable to lift my arms above my shoulders. I can honestly say I have no pain and I'm lifting my hands before I love my head. Sports and ortho and successfully preparing me to return to work.
Fantastic experience: I may be biased since I am a staff member at the Bridgeport clinic, but I love my coworkers!!! So when I needed PT there was no doubt that I would choose Sports and Ortho!!! Dan, Marie and PT student Sophie are top notch!!! Roche and David help me with my exercises and make sure I’m using proper form and getting the benefits from my exercises. I’ve seen other patients encouraging each other and now I’m part of that brotherhood! LOL!! The 45 minutes of 1-on-1 manual therapy with my PT is amazing and has helped me become almost pain free. Exercises that were impossible last week, I’m able to do this week with some difficulty, I’m confident I will complete next week with more ease. I have always referred my family and friends here, I will continue to do so now because I have personal experience!!! My review would not be complete without a shout-out to Liza!!! My partner in crime!!! I love you like a sister!!!
Fantastic experience: OMG, Sports and Ortho Physical Therapy Center totally rocks.!! Everyone is extremely professional. The staff is very knowledgeable about the police and fire department worker's and the daily duties and equipment that they have to wear and carry on a daily basis. This is remarkably beneficial because it does cause stress on the body. I have been struggling with severe pain for a long time, and I have learned from the therapist at Sports and Ortho how to make some head way with the pain. The exercises are mostly yoga poses and stretching, as well as some strengthen exercises. They have helped me out with being more active. Much Love, for you all.!! Thanks, Marie, Sofie, Rosh, Dawn, Liza, Dan and David.
Fantastic experience: These guys and gals are great. I was there for a short time after a back injury and they had me for a work conditioning program. They listened to my concerns and got me ready to do some heavy lifting. They adapted the exercises around my limitations and pushed me to go further than I expected. Dan, David, Marie and the ladies in the front office were awesome. David especially was instrumental in making me do things that I didn't feel were possible and kept me safe. They keep the office fun with themes and jokes. I watched the others treat all types of injuries from all walks of life and it was a pleasure to see how they work. Next time I get hurt I will be returning here.
Fantastic experience: As a professional bowler I was very particular when choosing the best PT place to rehab after a joint replacement surgery. I have intentions to continue to compete so it was important for me to find a place with Physical Therapists who were just as dedicated as I was. I found that at Sports and Ortho PT Bridgeport. Big thanks to PT Dan and PT Paulo for their attention to detail and professionalism. I have been going three times a week for a month now and I can honestly say I truly enjoy my time there. I can feel my body (knee) getting stronger and credit the team at Sports and Ortho for their care. From the front desk staff (shout out to Lisa for always being so friendly and helpful) to the PT assistant David I always leave feeling motivated, and very taken care of. I feel so grateful that this gem of a place is right down the street from where I live. If you are looking for Physical Therapy with expertise, forward thinking therapists (dry needling, cupping, blood flow restriction) then you’ll be happy to know this is your place.
Fantastic experience: Dan DPT has lead my recovery team including David, Maria DPT( excellent massage and manipulative as well as guide to exercises) Ariana was excellent as well with exercises and ice. I’ve been to several facilities including ATI and AthletiCo and this far exceeds my experience with those facilities. They really spend their time with you. Liza straightened all my billing with exceptional service.
Fantastic experience: The Sports Ortho employees at the Bridgeport facility are very professional from Lisa and Dawn at the front desk to all the professional and caring physical therapist that I have worked with, Payal, Marie, Claire and their assistants! I've had therapy over the years and nothing tops the one on one care and treatment that is received from this facility by such a group of professionals that work diligently from patient to patient without taking a break! They listen and have an understanding with all their patients! I was impressed with the Cupping and needling techniques that are done!! I am on my 2nd knee replacement and would like to highly commend Payal on her outstanding work ethic's & patience's! Great Team Work Bridgeport
Fantastic experience: Big day today! It was my last day of PT at the Beverly location! (I wasn't able to put this new review on the Beverly site as I already had one from 2 years ago). But no worries! My physical therapist, Paulo, works at both locations. I started this journey in May, attending faithfully 3x/week for bulging cervical discs. I started with minimal neck movement and lots of pain. Grateful that today I have full range of motion and no pain. The hard work and diligence of the Sports and Ortho physical therapists have saved me from the dreaded trip to the neurosurgeon. A big shout out to Paulo and Desharte, Lauren, Pam, Julia and Ari, and the gals at the front desk! You all have become my PT family. Seriously, as I don't wish to have a reason to go back to PT, I was tearful after ringing that bell as I am so grateful for what you all did for me. I highly recommend Sports and Ortho for your physical therapy needs.
Fantastic experience: I came to them for recovery from an osteochondral ankle surgery I had 8 months ago. Before that, I was at Athletico for a couple of weeks. They are simply outstanding when it comes to the quality of their service, level of attentiveness, efficacy with hands-on manipulation, and sense of genuine care. Athletico did not offer the attention and personal touch that only a 90 minute 1-on-1 session at Sports and Ortho can really offer you. During my first session at S&O, Marie spent the whole session doing deep tissue work and manipulating the joint. The next couple of days after that, I felt a sense of release from pain in the joint that I had not gotten from a series of sessions at other more well-known clinics. I will never forget finally feeling, with a deep sigh of relief, that I had found the place that would not treat me just like one of many patients. They actually get to know me and my needs for physical therapy first and foremost. Their care philosophy isn't about changing your habits immediately or shaming you in the recovery process when you inevitably slip up or encounter obstacles. Instead, they highlighted the strengths I already carried inside, and simply just offered the support system that I needed to work on my physical (and mental) weaknesses in a place that was forgiving and friendly. Some PTs such as Marie Salvador (my primary physical therapist) and Dan Gilkey offer dry needling, a way of breaking up stubborn muscle tissue. This specialized service has proven really effective for me in releasing knots from the surrounding calf area that really exacerbated the pain of stiffness and immobility. As for the team: you are all amazing! Lisa is so kind and communicative, and very fastidious when it comes to scheduling and the check-out process. Dawn is especially humorous and always finds a way to cheer me up with a story about her kids or her crazy dog. As for the techs that have put up with me and overseen the physical exercises that accelerated my recovery (Rosh, Ashanti, and David), their camaraderie and encouragement really got me into the "work hard but have fun doing it" mindset. As for Marie, my primary physical therapist, I have so much appreciation for you. I am deeply grateful and everyone should know that she is THE model for what defines a meaningful and expert physical therapist. You are amazing and you made me laugh so much through the pain and discomfort. I didn't think I'd be making a friend from these 5-6 months, but I surely did. Thank you all. Sports and Ortho has not just been a space of healing. Sports and Ortho welcomes you in like family. It's only when you have left them for the last time and see your picture on the prized cork board of Therapy Grads that you'll realize how much you have grown more confident, enthusiastic, and unbelievably strong. I'm living with renewed vitality and with so much pride for how far I've come.
Fantastic experience: I had my Achilles tendon repaired and spent about 8 months in physical therapy at Sports and Ortho. The care I received was excellent! All of the therapists and techs are attentive and compassionate. A variety of tools and exercises are used to help patients recover. I highly recommend Sports and Ortho to anyone in the Bridgeport area in need of physical therapy.
Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere, very friendly and professional. The facility is clean and the staff takes great care and pride in their work and environment. The staff Marie( My therapist),Claire, rosh and Payle including Lisa and dawn the receptionists all demonstrate integrity in their work and are all amazing ladies, who are always willing to help. They really care about their patients here. I have seen steady improvements every week; thanks to their efforts and wise advice. I highly recommend Sports and Ortho in Bridgeport for physical therapy. I’m glad to have chosen this place for my recovery. This place is like another home because they make you feel like home!
Fantastic experience: I made remarkable improvement of my arthritic knee due to the nurturing and family -like environment of this facility. The atmosphere was non-threatening, caring, friendly, and welcoming. This welcoming environment transcended clients to be congenial and friendly with each other. The camaraderie among the staff was stellar. They were more like family, than colleagues. The therapists: Paulo, Maria, and Dan were collaborative and cared about their clients. the PT aides : David and Roe were supportive and understanding. The therapists even stopped, when they noticed someone other than own client was doing the exercise incorrectly and then demonstrated the proper way. They watched the correction by the client . Paul was my exemplary therapist who designed a program to strengthen my muscles and worked on my hip to alleviate the pressure on my knee. The pain in my knee decreased Immensely after a few weeks of treatment. Paul did a super job in preparing a program of exercises and massages that help relax and strengthened my knee. Paulo helped me understand how to manage my Arthritis and he demonstrated “tough love”in a sneaky way to motivate me, I would highly recommend the Bridgetport facility.
Fantastic experience: I initially was introduced to this place by attending a resource event. Curious to see what they do different, I got in line to do a free checkup. I had rotator cuff surgery 6 months prior and wasn’t quite comfortable with my current progress, or lack there of. The owner, Dahlia, took a look at my shoulder, did about 10mins worth of massaging and joint mobility movements and I immediately had a significant amount of range of motion than I started with. After leaving I called the location closest to my home and made an appointment. Dahlia had already called the location to give them the heads up that I would be calling and to inform them of what she felt I specifically needed to improve my recovery. Since my first appointment with Dan I have seen a tremendous amount of improvement in such a short amount of time. I can tell Dan cares about my recovery as much as I do. He takes the time to listen and figure out what it is that might be causing any issues or concerns I might be having. I am truly confident in his knowledge and ability to get my shoulder back to where it needs to be! Additionally, the rest of the staff have been nothing but pleasant and engaged in ensuring the exercises I do are being done correctly. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for any and all your physical therapy needs!
Fantastic experience: Sports and Ortho Bridgeport is the best place to rehab your body and mind! The minute you walk in the door you are greeted by Liza and Dawn; they take the time to ask how you are feeling and get you started with heat or warm up before being treated by your physical therapist, be it Dan, Marie, or Paulo you will be in good hands. Therapist along with the tech’s have eyes on you the whole time you are doing your exercises to make sure you are doing everything properly. I highly recommend Sports and Ortho for all your therapy needs.
Fantastic experience: When you have pain and you need at place to recover Sport and Ortho physical therapy (Bridgeport) location is the place to go. I started my journey almost hopping though the door (due to my right foot injury). Liza was able to schedule my appointment as I needed to fix my schedule, and sometimes even at the last minute. It’s been about a month been seen mostly by Dan only twice with Paulo. They have pushed me to a great recovery ❤️ . Specifically Dan he had to deal with my job who wouldn’t put me first. He even went out his way to speak to them. David is Dan assistance and with him making sure I do my exercise correctly by also having enjoyable conversation while do them. I highly recommend this place. And plus it’s only a 15 minutes drive if you live nearby.
Fantastic experience: I'm going to try this again. Boy these folks are miracle workers and just great people. For over 10 years, I have been coming to Sports Ortho for them to repair my body parts. First, I had a hip replacement. And i needed physical therapy. They fixed that, Then I broke my neck and couldn't walk for months. I'm walking now, I had both knees replaced. They fixed that. Now I'm back again for my shoulder. Finally, when you graduate they give pens, backpacks and tee shirts. So next to match all that gear JOGGERS should be in order. All the staff especially at the Bridgeport location are the best I've seen yet. Thanks you guys for such great service
Fantastic experience: Incredibly blessed to have met Marie and the Sports and Ortho staff. After suffering two injuries at work, Marie, being very knowledgeable and patient, helped me get back on my feet. From day one, Marie was very invested in helping me succeed. Her skill set is exceptional! During my first visit, she gave me a thorough evaluation and most importantly always gave me one on one time, comfort, and a sense of relief. I went to therapy for 2 hrs 2-3 days a week for 5 months. Marie not only taught me exercises to help me gain my strength back but also went out of her way to text me outside of work hours to send me helpful exercise videos to continue my therapy at home; I am so grateful for that. Location was everything. I was minutes away from home, and the commute was easy. Im extremely happy to have had my therapy with Sports and Ortho, the staff is friendly, outgoing, and very professional. To Marie and Sports and Ortho, Thank you ☺️
Fantastic experience: First, the professionalism and knowledge in this facility is second to none. I went through a rigorous 6 months for a rotator cuff surgery. I got to work with the entire staff and their knowledge is what gave me the confidence to keep pushing everyday. They listened to my concerns and adjusted based on how I felt each day. The front office is welcoming the therapists are well versed and the trainers bring it all together. I know my shoulder would not be back to 100 without them.
Fantastic experience: Everyone is friendly Dan is the best physical therapist I have ever had. He really works on and with you until you are better. He checks your well being at every visit. I continue to go as I am making great progress here They really care about your well being with great patient care
Fantastic experience: Over the years I’ve been to several PT facilities. I think Bridgeport Sports Ortho is the best! All of the staff are welcoming, very helpful and genuinely care about your well being. My therapist is Claire, she is outstanding! She’s so caring and really very knowledgeable about my issue. She has really helped me a great deal, Thanks Claire
Fantastic experience: As a physician, I was very impressed with how friendly and professional the staff at the Bridgeport office were. My physical therapist, Claire, was outstanding. She's had years of experience, and tailors her program to fit the individual needs if the patient. Her bedside manner was great, both professional and empathetic. Everyone at the office was very friendly. Liza, the receptionist and Ashante, the tech deserve a special shout out, they were very attentive and professional. My one criticism would be that my schedule had to be changed a few times in a 6 week period. I realize that often this is unavoidable due to unexpected illnesses, vacations or staff turnover. Despite this, I still highly recommend this office.
Fantastic experience: My experience at sports Ortho was amazing. The front desk ladies are super nice and very helpful. The physical therapists there are the best ! They bring you from where you are to where you need to be as efficiently as possible. Most clients are either cops, firemen or athletes, so if they come here, you know it's the best. I highly recommend sports n Ortho
Fantastic experience: For those looking for a place that cares for your physical well-being this location will offer you TRUE PROFESSIONALS who go above and beyond to help you heal. The environment in this clinic makes you feel at home, the interaction with the staff and other patients is so positive and helps you spiritually, you are not just a number. Lisa and Dawn are two hard working individuals, so helpful and friendly. I got the opportunity to be seen but all the physical therapist and let me tell you I can say nothing but positive complements to all of them. Marie Salvador was my primary therapist, she is a young professional with extensive experience. She is very hands-on and you might hate it at first like I did, but after she's done you will feel less pain or no pain at all. She dedicates enough time to every session and targets your problem area. I've had to attend other places for.physical theraphy in the past and none can be compared to Marie for which I am very thankful to.have met her and to highly recommend to anyone that needs a professional physical therapist.
Fantastic experience: I was a little skeptical at first about using Sports and Ortho after my rotator cuff surgery. But my surgeon gave it excellent praise for the work they do with his patients. At my first session I had Claire as my physical therapist and she took the time to explain what I had done and how she was going to rehab my left shoulder with a progressed regimen. I am about five weeks post op and feeling good. After each session I have better range of motion and feel great. I am sure that I will have no problem getting back to 100% so I can return to work and enjoy my hobbies. Claire, thank you so much for the fantastic work you do!
Fantastic experience: I have been in physical therapy off and on for several months now. It has been painful and sometimes depressing. However, my experience at Sports Ortho Bridgeport has been by far the most educational and beneficial out patient rehab experience I could have asked for. Liza and Dawn happily greeted me at the front entrance and handled scheduling and rescheduling with the best attitude. Rosh, the assistant is firm and gentle in her approach. Physical Therapists Marie, Payal and Claire not only treated me, but, they had the best demeanor while doing so. They care about their patients overall wellbeing. Most of us don’t mind doing the hard work because the atmosphere is a caring one. If possible I would give another star!!!
