Fantastic experience: Great facility with friendly staff

Fantastic experience: I really love this FFC location. It isn't the most convenient if you're getting there by public transit, but the walk from the Addison red line or Sheridan red line isn't the worst as long as it's not snowing/raining. The facility itself is quite large. The main floor (cardio and weights) can get a little loud, but the second floor also has some cardio and weight machines, and it's usually more quiet upstairs. If you get gym anxiety, the second floor is definitely more serene. Their indoor pool is small, but it's fine for getting laps in. What I really like about this location is their fitness studio space. If there isn't a class going on, you can practice your yoga, dance, jump roping, or whatever you like best and have plenty of space for it.

Fantastic experience: I just joined the FFC gym as I was experiencing an issue with a pinched nerve in my neck which was causing pain at the base of the neck and numbness in the top of the trapezius, the front of the deltoid and the top of the pectoralis. My doctor had already written an order for another PT provider which was about a mile from my home. When I found out that FFC has PT on site, I immediately asked my doctor to re-write the order for the FFC PT providers, because FFC East Lakeview is only 2 blocks from my condo. It's SO convenient to have the PT facility right in the FFC gym where I now exercise. Michelle is a wonderful therapist, and all the other staff were very friendly and helpful. When I would talk to my primary care doctor about Michelle, I would refer to her as my little miracle worker. I would definitely recommend this PT facility to anybody seeking treatment. Thanks FFC! Fantastic experience: I have been under the care of the staff for almost a year and have recovered well from a major bone fracture. I’m able to ask questions and always receive answers. Dr. Michelle Boongaling has listened to my input and complaints surrounding my injury, tailoring PT and exercises around my demanding active lifestyle. Always friendly and able to work around my schedule, I would recommend this business and location to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Michelle Boongaling PT, healed my shoulder with skill at Rush Physical Therapy. Over a year ago. In 2023 I broke my leg and sprained my ankle, requiring surgery with 2 plates, seven screws and 2 mesh bands cinched around just above my ankle. For 5 months Kate Wax and Michelle Boongaling, Erica Montesi, healed me with skilled massage of torn tendons, a series of exercises, and steady encouragement. I cannot recommend them more highly. At 71years, I am now returning to hydro fit class, and the gym. I can be on my feet most of the day, and have gained more self discipline than I ever had before. A+. Five stars!

Fantastic experience: The team here has a really positive vibe, and I think their approach to deep tissue massage is very beneficial to clients. Deep tissue massage is not a day at the spa by no means. It can, at times, be grueling, even painful. It really helps loosen and relax tight spasming muscles. I really appreciate this help. To do this kind of work 5 or 6 hours a day is really commendable and you have to imagine it takes skill,training, and it looks hard on their hands and fingers when you imagine them doing 6 or 7 patients a day for around thirty minutes each. Truly not a career for everyone. Thank you all @ Waveland, Rush physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Katie Wax and Cristian are the best physical therapists I have ever had. I have been going to them since last July for my issues with my shoulder and knees. I did end up having rotator cuff surgery in January. With Katie's golden touch and well thought out plan and Cristian's correction of how I do each exercise, maximizing the benefit, I am doing great. I highly recommend both of them.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Michelle for the past year and I have almost no pain! I had seen another physical therapist for 7 months with no change, and as soon as I started seeing Michelle, my quality of life improved so much. I look forward to our sessions, everyone is so friendly, and I walk away feeling much better than when I came in. Fantastic experience: This is my first ever experience with PT, as recommended by my doctor following surgery. He told me to pick any place, and he would send them the prescription. I picked RUSH based on their name and close location to me. [My doctors are all at University of Chicago. Hyde Park, I live way on the northside.]. WHAT A SUPER LUCKY HAPPY SURPRISE FOR ME!!!!! I was late, problems with the cab service, Katy still adjusted and worked with me the whole session. She was super cool and so informative and helpful, made me feel great, AND the support staff were so kind and helpful because I left my phone in the cab!!! They worked everything out. They were so nice. Cannot say enough .Can't wait for my next session!!

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Katie Wax! I injured my arm months ago and she determined that something going on with my neck wasn't allowing my arm to heal. So happy I decided to have physical therapy with her. She is very pleasant and professional, explains everything, and answers my many questions. After just a couple sessions I have had noticeable improvement.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for all that you have done for me since 2016 I have been in your office on several occasions to treat my hip labral tear and in 2018 my gluteal tendinitis. I appreciate the time you took to really help me after the Tenex procedure on my left hip. Great experience my pain is a lot of better.

Fantastic experience: I went in with knee pains and came out stronger. Katie Wax is a great physical therapist. She sent me home with workouts to do everyday and some exercises/stretches to continue with once I was discharged. She made a great effort in getting to know her patients and is well liked by everyone. I am actually sad that my time in physical therapy ended but I recommend her to anyone looking for the care and attention they need for a succesful recovery!

Fantastic experience: NovaCare is fabulous. Due to a series of injuries and aches due to conditions I have been to several physical therapy facilities over the years, including in-hospital PT/rehabilitation departments. I first came to NovaCare about 10 years ago and the experience was the best I've ever had from a PT facility. I've been in care at Novacare a number of times and have never been let down by the treatment. Presently I am being treated by Katherine Wax, PT, DPT and she is terrific. She is knowledgeable about the body and can formulate a treatment plan which makes sense and is manageable for the patient while at the facility and for following on their own. Another thing is the friendly atmosphere at NovaCare facilities. The providers are always pleasant and seem to genuinely care about their patients making progress to reach treatment goals.
