Sloan's Lake Rehabilitation Center

Fantastic experience: When i was in the hospital, it was decided that i would need to recover from my injury at a rehab facility. As i was trying to decide which one to go to, it was reported to me by patient services that SLOAN'S LAKE REHAB CENTER was a top rated facility. Soon after i arrived there i found out WHY it was top rated. Everything about the place was exactly that. I was quite amazed to find that literally every employee from housekeeping and maintenance to the top administrator was better than i could have imagined. Very friendly, professional, knowledgable, compassionate, and fun describes them all. The entire facility was very clean. As an RN of 41 years, i can attest to the fact that no hospital that i know of would fall under the above description. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend this facility to anyone.

Fantastic experience: In the last 12 months, I have had my back fused and both hips totally replaced. After the gamut of therapies, medical care and facilities, I am basing my following opinion. After my second hip replacement, I was placed in the Sloans Lake Rehabilitation Center. Upon my arrival, I was hurting, suffering the normal post op hip replacement limitations and just frustrated with my situation. When I was placed in my room, it was clean, functional and with a large window that faced east showing the panorama of Denver. Right off the bat, I liked the room and it felt nice to be in. From the onset and through out my stay, I got to know the staff ( all the staff who dealt with me ) and each treated me with respect, kindness and those who were able met my needs as I requested them. Both my Occupational and Physical Therapists put me at ease right away. I could tell that my therapies were targeted for me and my needs. My progress was amazing. I really liked my therapist and looked forward to my sessions regardless of the pain involved. I am a 63 year old man who likes to eat. I can attest from my stays that Hospital food stories are real. Not the case here, the food was good. I am by no means degrading any of my previous care but this facility was my favorite. My progress has been great, I am soon to be back to normal and attest a good part of this to the excellent care and PT that I received post op a the Sloans Lake Rehab Center.

Fantastic experience: I could not wait to get home after 8 + weeks at Sloan's Lake Rehab yesterday to say what a terrific experience I had with them. I went in "scared to death" after a near fatal heart attack and was immediately calmed and assured that thorough recovery would be at a pace I could handle and that I should continually ask questions as we went through the daily routines. At one point I felt dizzy and went back to the hospital to be re-evaluated. I then returned to Sloan's for further rehab. I failed my home evaluation as I could not make it up the steps to my building. I returned for further rehab and am now home and feeling really good. The staff there never asked me to push beyond my ability. They were ALL, inclucing the food staff to maintenance staff aware of each of us and how ill we were. I cannot say one negative thing (other than one bad meal) about my experiece.

Fantastic experience: My grandma was transferred here from another rehab that was just plain horrible. She just had spine surgery. They tortured my grandma, she couldn't even sit up. She had only been here for 3 days, and she's already sitting up and eating. They come when they're called. Such a big turn around from before. Thank you! You gave life back to my grandma.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Sloan’s lake. My mom was not only taken care of but loved on by staff. I received updates and would allow mom to stay again when/if needed. Thank you again.

Fantastic experience: Sloan's Lake Rehab has a professional staff. Extremely efficient and well trained staff from the CNA's RN's, Doctors and O/T and P/T. My mother had a view of the mountains and lake and was a plus for her rehab.

Fantastic experience: The management team at Sloan's Lake is outstanding. It is very apparent the they have one mission and that is to provide outstanding care to their patients. The very aggressive position they have taken to prevent the introduction and potential spread of COVID-19 in their building is a model for other long term care facilities to follow. I would not hesitate to send my loved one to Sloan's for rehab or long term care.

Fantastic experience: Iv'e been working here at Sloans 's Lake for just over a year now and this is the best rehab center I've ever worked at . The staff is amazing and I love coming to work . Fantastic experience: I was just hired at Sloan Lake as a Registered Dietitian and I couldn't have asked for a more welcoming and warm facility from both staff and residents. The staff are well educated, friendly, and will put a smile on your face when you are having the worst day. Staff here go out of their way for their residents and each other. I am always confident in their abilities and know that our residents are in good hands when they choose Sloan's Lake. The team is extremely responsive, friendly, and reliable. They will make the entire experience seamless from admission to discharge. The therapy team is also top-notch. Every room has a beautiful view. I highly recommend giving them a call, or better yet going in for a tour and meeting the team.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a 12 days stay at Sloan's Lake rehabilitation and it was quite a good experience. The staff is excellent and really care about your well being. You get to know everyone by name right away b/c they are so good at visiting to see how things are going. The nurses are top notch and are always on time with the correct medications. The food is really good and if you want something else you can just ask. the facility is clean and modern. Its really the staff though that makes Sloan's so special. I cant say enough about the really personal staff that watches over you. Sloan's Lake rocks !

Fantastic experience: Amazing Therapy Department! Over my time here not only did I achieve strength and mobility beyond anything I experienced for several years but the cooperation among the entire staff, in my case both PT and OT, is reflected both in creative work but relationship of the entire staff to me as an individual. I want to give special thanks to the two therapists who were tireless in their effort to ensure my progress and success - Cait and Kristi. During my stay at Sloans Lake Rehab I was treated with respect and kindness by all .

Fantastic experience: From a health professional standpoint, this is a great facility. They are easy to coordinate care with, take time to make sure their patients are well taken care of. I'm especially impressed with the room size (large doors for wheelchair accessibility) and all are private rooms, so no roommates. The staff are friendly, accommodating and truly care about their patients. Sometimes the therapy departments even perform home assessments prior to someone discharging to ensure a safe departure to home! I would recommend this facility.

Fantastic experience: My mother in law is currently in Sloans Lake rehab. It is very clean, the staff is very friendly and kind. The main person in charge of the kitchen Ana Torres is very commited to making the kinds of food that my mother in law likes. They go above and beyond in Sloans Lake. I would highly recommend them.
