Fantastic experience: My experience at Dr. Hitender's office was positive in most every way. First I'll start with the treatments and then get to the people. I had a severely herniated disc, and I went to Hitender for spinal decompression. It helped me tremendously! I was able to avoid surgery and make a very nice recovery. Everybody at the office is great too. All very friendly and knowledgeable. So I have nothing but great things to say about Denver Physical Medicine & Rehab. My one recommendation to a patient would be to make sure you ask them about all of their available treatment options. They have a very wide range of integrated treatments (chiropractic, injections, massage, etc.) all in one place. Very convenient!

Fantastic experience: Hitender is THE best chiropractor in Colorado! Believe me, I've seen them all. My husband has severe scoliosis and I have stage 3 FHP. His office is the only one I've found that's equipped with the necessary machines to correct our spine and neck. He's very personable and his staff is so friendly! His place offers a warm environment where you leave feeling rejuvenated! You MUST get a massage from Crystal! She will make you feel like butter and she's an expert in what she does and a genuine sweetheart. I'm so blessed to have found his place. Denver's best rehab center :)

Fantastic experience: The staff here are really polite and very attentive! I was in a car accident and am currently 6 months pregnant and they are so helpful with everything! I do the massage therapy, physical therapy, and chiropractic and all of them are great programs! I would definitely recommend this phacility to anyone who is need of any chiropractic care.

Fantastic experience: Dr Hightender is definitely the go to guy for your ailing back or muscles. He was knowledgeable, professional, casual and offered a variety of options for my care including massage therapy. The massage therapist was one of the best I've dealt with and although my treatment for the accident is over, I plan to be back regularly as I felt not like only a patient but a friend. I appreciate everything they have done for me and I appreciate the personable service and recommendations he made.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hitender is the best! I've been going to the Denver Physical Medicine and Rehab Spine Clinic for a few months and it has been a wonderful experience. The staff is awesome always very flexible, attentive and concerned about my needs. I highly recommend anybody that has been in a car accident to come here. When I went there for the first time, he told me not to worry about the medical bills because his primary concern was my health being, he even recommended me a lawyer in case I didn't have one. He is honest and he will educate you and let you know what he is working on, he makes you feel comfortable. I am happy with the results and I will definitely continue coming back here after my treatment is finish. I have recommended other people to come here and I am hoping they have the same results and experience that I had. I appreciate how flexible they are and take this opportunity to talk about their excellent customer customer service and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming! The staff is amazing as is Dr. Hitender. I was injured in a car accident, called to book an appointment and they offered to see me that same day! They're always accommodating to any schedule changes I have and send out appointment reminders which is very helpful. Dr. Hitender consistently says "I work for you, tell me what you need" and his actions back up his words 100%! I have never felt less than taken care off when in his office.

Fantastic experience: The physical therapists here are knowledgeable and have all sorts of equipment, tools and techniques for diagnoses and healing. I was in and out in under a half hour including my treatment. Saw smiles on every patient when I went in. Very happy with the services provided.

Fantastic experience: I had been having chronic, debilitating pelvic cramping for about two months when I got a physician's recommendation to see a medical massage therapist because my entire abdominal wall was gridlocked and everything around it was starting to clench, too. Not to be dramatic, but the staff massage therapist, Luis, is a miracle worker. After months of agony and popping over-the-counter painkillers around the clock, 90% of the pain was gone in one appointment, and the remaining 10% in the second. I haven't taken a single painkiller since that 90% appointment, and I now know exactly what will help when the issue starts coming back. I hope clinic management sees this review and does everything possible to keep Luis around. He's passionate about what he does, he's quite knowledgeable in his field, he's a consummate professional, and he puts people at ease with his presence. Despite the fact that he typically works with cases drastically different to mine, he asked some questions and then jumped in to try to help. I felt heard and respected, which has not always been the case with my ongoing chronic health issues. I cannot speak to the work of the other clinical staff because I have not worked with them personally, but I can say that the front desk staff is always very thoughtful, patient, and polite, even when they're busy or in a high-pressure situation. Overall extremely positive experience. I'm a repeat customer.

Fantastic experience: This place is like an amusement park for people in pain. My back felt better after just one visit. The staff made me feel very comfortable and they all really seem to care about improving my quality of life.

Fantastic experience: Have been going here since about 2008. First to fix curvature of spine. Success! Then to fix periodic twist to bottom of my spine immediate fix. And now working on recent nerve pain caused by a shift in vertebrae. Plus just periodic preventative adjustments. Very friendly. Have a lot of therapy machines as well. They are gently working on the right diagnosis.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hitender is an amazing chiropractor and person in general! Not only will get you badly back on track but he will make sure you get a few good laughs and feel at home during the process. His wife is the head physical therapist in their practice and she is just as amazing if not more. They have built a very warm, inviting, and effective practice with everything you could ever need to recover from just about any injury. I have been seeing Hitender myself for over 13 years. Fantastic experience: I came to these folks for sciatic nerve issues that hobbled me for 6 weeks. I tried a regular chiro, I tried pain killers, everything. Nothing worked. Within 3 adjustments it was fixed. And the recommended maintenance program was twice a month. Well worth it to not be in pain. As a side point, I was so happy I had them evaluate a shoulder I cant move around without pain. I am currently in physical therapy, and I cannot say enough about the staff. PT is not easy, but they make it work and i feel improvement after a few sessions. Highly recommend Dr. H and his incredible staff!

Fantastic experience: The team of professionals here have changed my life living with scoliosis. I’ve tried numerous other programs, spending thousands of dollars elsewhere, and never got the results that I saw from Dr. Mancy and Dr. Hitender’s work in only 10 weeks. Mancy, the physical therapist, is extremely dedicated to her work. She can read your body like a book and gives it the attention it needs. Mancy encourages you to push yourself physically while also showing her sweet, personable side during PT/Schroth. She is extremely knowledgeable in Schroth and might be the best therapist with this discipline in the west! I highly recommend this place if you’re ready to tackle your scoliosis or other physical rehab needs!

Fantastic experience: I was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 13, wore a brace for a few years and was told there was nothing else that could be done. At age 42 I found Dr. Hitender and Dr. Mansi and they have given me a newfound hope AND are showing me actual results. Through wearing a new type of brace and physical therapy I am already seeing a reduction in my scoliosis curve after just a few months. I am so thankful for them and to be receiving care through this amazing practice!

Fantastic experience: The best chiropractor in Colorado!!! I have come here for many years now and each time I have come in with severe neck and back pains - Dr Hitender and his staff are great. The adjustment I have received essentially fixes 90-100% of my pain in a single treatment. Some severe ones take repeat visits but I wouldn't trust anyone else. I have visited several other chiropractors in the past and their treatment either made the pain worse or was so insignificant that I didn't notice much or any difference at all. If you need excellent chiropractic treatment you should come here first and I can guarantee you will never to go anywhere else. I consistently recommend Denver Physical Medicine and Rehab to my family, friends and colleagues. Thank you Dr. Hitender!

Fantastic experience: Can't Recommend Highly Enough I came to Denver Physical Medicine and Rehab after I saw a Neurosurgeon for slipping vertebrae in my neck. From my very first visit here, I felt truly listened to and cared for. Everyone in the office--from the doctors to the medical staff are just wonderful. Skilled but also true professionals. By my second visit, everyone knew my name and treated me like an old friend. I trust this clinic and practitioners, and cannot recommend more highly!

Fantastic experience: When it comes to spines, Denver Physical Medicine & Rehab is the best in the surrounding Denver Metro area. I should know because I've been in the medical field for 17 years and have worked with top therapists and clinicians in Colorado. I started seeking chiropractic care due to debilitating pain in my back and was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Hightender and his team. Having spent time with new fangled approaches to chiropractic care, I was so relieved to find that Dr. Hightender does things “old-school”. He spends time getting to know his patients, addresses multiple concerns with a variety of hands-on approaches, and conveys a true concern for his patients’ well being. Although I have not been lucky enough to avoid surgery, Denver Physical Medicine & Rehab has enabled me to continue functioning until my surgery date. Moreover, they have given me a place to go to where I feel cared for and respected. It may be the front reception welcoming me by name, or other therapist walking by and correcting my posture, but the office has become a refuge where I know I’ll come out feeling better than when I came in. The relief I feel on walking through those doors is one that is hard to describe. I can truly say Dr. Hightender and his team have created the BEST chiropractic practice in the city.

Fantastic experience: Dr Hitender, his PTA staff and support staff are great! I've been going for about 3 months (about 1.5 mo with the scolibrace), and have have seen more of an improvement in my scoliosis than I expected too see: 28.7% improvement in my thoracic curve and 46.1% improvement in my lumbar curve. It has a group treatment feel to it but individual treatment approach. Hitender also has a great sense of humor which makes going more fun. He's a quick talker, so if you have questions, you just have to let him know. I would definitely recommend.

While treatment can always be tough, the welcoming energy from the staff and efficiency of the treatment has made this process so much easier than any of my past experiences with other facilities. I have been seen regularly here for the past 3 months and have seen great improvement with my injury's caused by an auto accident. I have also seen the message therapist who is also amazing. Fantastic experience: I was diagnosed with scoliosis 13 years ago, but never thought I needed to seek treatment for it. At the age of twenty-six, I began experiencing difficulty breathing during certain activities, saw physical deformities developing on the left side of my chest, coupled with intense lower back pain. All due to the worsening of my curves! Scoliosis is no joke and I am extremely grateful I found Dr. Hitender and Dr. Mansi at Denver Physical Medicine. Their expertise and bedside manner is unmatched and I can not recommend their services enough. The entire staff not only cares for your physical health, but your mental well being as well. When you walk into the clinic, you are treated like family. After just 2 months of Schroth work with Dr. Mansi and 1 month of wearing my Scoliosis brace, my thoracic curve has gone from 42.8 degrees down to 23.9 degrees! My lumbar curve went from 39.2 degrees to 19.7 degrees! The results speak for themselves and I can happily say I’m not only seeing physical changes in my body, I’m feeling those changes too! Fantastic experience: Kate Diffily worked with me after I had a knee replacement and was amazing! I felt stalled with my rehab and she got me back on track. 18 months later I feel completely back to normal with my bionic knee and Kate played a large role in that! Kate is professional, fun to be around, and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend working with Kate for any physical therapist needs!

Fantastic experience: When I arrived at the office I had bad shoulder,neck and lower back hip pains from the wreck I was in. The pain and discomfort was hard to live with. After the therapy began I soon had positive responds to treatment. By the completion approximately 3 months I was 100 percent and feeling no discomfort. Fantastic experience: I found this clinic by two variables: proximity to the house and insurance.network. To my delight, I found an invaluable health team,. After my 20 sessions allowed by insurance, and having committed twice weekly sessions, I had not only improved in strength and balance, but felt I had gained a family. I was sad to leave! Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been going to Dr.Hitender for appx 7 years. He adjusted me throughout both of my pregnancies using safe and gentle methods, he helped my husband heal exponentially faster after a motorcycle accident, and when my first born had colic he adjusted her at 2 weeks old and let me tell you there is no better sign of your spine being in alignment than a baby relieving herself after days of nothing after having nursed both of my babies there was bound to be some needed adjustments and I always feel so much better after receiving treatment that is truly necessary by Doc. Fantastic experience: This has to be one of the best scoliosis clinics in the US, proven by the fact that you often see out-of-state patients traveling here to be under Dr. Hitender’s care. My curve (which was mild as a teenager and gradually worsened through the years) improved in a matter of months from 35⁰to 25⁰ under their protocol, which for me includes a weekly visit to their office for treatment and time on my own in a custom brace. Gone are the headaches and lower backaches I endured for too many years. Their staff operates like a medical team should – great communication, friendly, fun, and all the while professional and results-driven. I will forever be grateful for the life-changing effects they’ve had on my health, and very highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I went to him after seeing the great online reviews and feeling quite frustrated and disappointed with my Kaiser Permanente "care"! After a 3rd car accident, I began having worsening problems with my neck and back. About 3 years later my left side was so weak, I could barely lift my head!! I was diagnosed with torticollis and scoliosis of my spine. Also degenerative disc disease, same side, with multi level nerve compression due to compressed discs.The Kaiser doctor strongly recommended Botox injections. This new doctor at Denver Phys Med &Rehab, is very down to earth, friendly guy with his employees and patients. He treats everyone like an equal and gives personalized medical treatment. I'm relieved to say I can now hold up my head and have much less pain or discomfort!! I feel like a new person getting MY life back AGAIN!! My body is more flexible and gradually becoming realigned. They are very organized considering all the different spinal issues they deal with daily, in professional manner. I HIGHLY recommend THEM!!!!

Fantastic experience: I was in an unfortunate accident in January that left me in dire need of physical therapy to help with the after effects of the accident. Dr. Hitender and his staff were one of the first locations that popped up that had great ratings! Those ratings did not disappoint! His staff and the doctor were amazing in giving me the care and help I needed to get back on my feet. They explained the exercises to me and what they would do to help me in the long run, as well as provide other services that were highly conductive to getting me back on my feet. I greatly appreciate the time and efforts that were taken by them! I recommend them highly!

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give 10 stars for this place! Finding Denver Physical Medicine & Rehab has literally changed my life. When I was diagnosed with scoliosis at age 36, I spent over a year trying to find treatment that could reduce my spinal curves without surgery. A friend recommended I look into the Schroth Method. I had never heard of Schroth before, but was encouraged by what I found online. After working with Dr. Mansi for 6 months, my Cobb angles have been reduced as well as my pain. I am no longer taking Advil daily, and my neck and lower back pain has improved substantially. We are also incorporating the CLEAR Institute method in my scoliosis treatment with Dr. Hitender to assist with decreasing the spinal curves. My most recent X-ray shows a 26% decrease in both thoracic and lumbar curves! Dr. Mansi and Dr. Hitender really do care about their patients, and they make everyone feel like part of the DPMR family. The entire staff are friendly and professional. It's not everyday you find people that are truly out to make the world a better place, and I'm fortunate to be a part of their journey. I HIGHLY recommend their office for Schroth, Chiropractic care, and physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Denver Physical Medicine & Rehab made it possible to take back my health and my life in the wake of a painful injury. I suffered extensive injuries from a car accident, especially on the left part of my body, that hindered my mobility and caused constant pain. I went to two other medical providers including an orthopedic surgeon with no relief in sight before I found Denver Physical Medicine and Rehab. Each session was different from the one before as my therapists approached my injuries at different angles to make my therapy as comprehensive as possible. After three and a half weeks I saw a marked improvement in my mobility and pain level. After six weeks my pain was virtually gone. Now I am focusing on strengthening my body to prevent future injury. Dr. Hitender is a superb doctor who has reaffirmed my faith in therapy and rehab. The nursing staff addressed my pain needs with a range of different supplements and medications that reduced my pain and increased my healing without problematic side effects. The staff worked with me at every step of the process to make my therapy regiment as easy as possible within my busy schedule. I couldn’t recommend a better place to reclaim your body and your life after a painful injury.

Hitender and the remarkable team have brought a tremendous positive impact to us both physically and mentally. Fantastic experience: I was rear-ended and had whiplash. I was referred to Dr. Hitender and his staff by my attorney to help with the back, shoulder, mid-back and lower back pain I was feeling after the accident. I have to say I was hesitant that I was going to be fixed. After about 3 months of treatment, I feel amazing!!! I am a letter carrier so the back pain I was having was affecting my work, I was having pain throughout every day at work. I now wake up with no pain, I can work with no pain!!!!! They are true miracle workers!!! The whole staff is awesome, they all are super nice and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Following a car accident in which I sustained severe whiplash and a separated shoulder, my attorney's recommended this one to me. On my first visit, following a thorough breakdown of my x-rays, I understood that through their PT and Medical treatment programs that I maybe able to avoid reconstructive surgery on the shoulder. Now, 5 weeks into treatment on the customized 5-day program they've designed for my injury, I am very thankful I obtained this referral. I avoided surgery, I am regaining strength and support slowly but surely, and I am confident when working with the wonderful people who make up the highly knowledgable staff. They've also accommodated on multiple occasions when my work schedule has interfered with my visits. They really are a one-stop shop, and are fun to work with!

In all that time, and all those hours of work, I have never had a better therapy experience than I have had at Denver Physical Medicine & Rehab. Not only is the staff friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive, they foster an amazing team atmosphere that encourages everyone to work together. And in doing so, they are better able to meet all of their patients' needs, and increase their observations and analysis of a patient's specific issues. Also, as other reviewers have said, when you are there, you are more than just a patient, you are family. I was treated as a whole person, instead of just an injury. They have been helping me to deal with years of compensatory injuries due to the erosion of my knees, and their rehabilitation program following my second knee replacement has been outstanding. I saw a different practice following my first replacement, and while I was satisfied with the care I received there, at Denver Physical Medicine & Rehab I have made tremendous progress across my entire body, and I am thrilled that circumstance forced me to seek them out. You will not find a better full service practice in all of Colorado, and believe me, I've been to most of them.

Fantastic experience: An amazing place to go for physical therapy. I knew when I had my initial consultation with Dr. Mansi that this was the perfect place for me. I could see her care and dedication for her profession before she even started the therapy. The entire office cares about each and every patient and it shows. You're greeted by name when you walk in and they never keep you waiting for your appointments. Dr. Manci told me in my consultation that she would get as much movement back in my arm as I had before my surgery and she, and her incredible team, did just that. I have the same movement I did before the surgery. They noticed when I was done with movement improvement and switched me to strength training. They started me off slow and are always checking to make sure I'm not hurting myself. They know what they are doing and love what they do. It not only shows in their attitudes but in the work they do with the patients. Not that I ever want to have surgery again... but if I do I will 100% go back to Denver Rehab & Physical Therapy.
