Fantastic experience: Gavin is the man! I was really impressed with his approach to getting my bad shoulder and hip back into shape. He was able to provide a lot of great workouts and therapy to help me feel 1000% more confident. I will continue to go to him as needed.

Fantastic experience: Gavin is really good at what he does. He breaks down how certain injuries occur and how to rehabilitate them in a way that's easy to understand. He taught me certain tips and exercises for preventing injuries, but also for addressing them when they do occur. He's got the background to explain the science of what's going on. Don't be stubborn like me and endlessly ignore your back pain. Get on Gavin's schedule and see if that tweak that's been bothering you for months doesn't subside.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed working with Gavin! He was not only able to help me get rid of my back pain, but he also gave me the tools/knowledge to prevent my back from flaring up again in the future. My sessions with him were pain relieving, as well as educational AND entertaining - he is great company! I was nervous going into physical therapy, as I had never done it before, but Gavin made me feel very comfortable throughout every session. Fantastic experience: I had recently moved to Denver after shoulder surgery and needed to find a new PT. I had felt discouraged getting back into the activities I liked to do pre-surgery and Gavin helped me both mentally & physically. He is super knowledgeable, client-centered and transparent. If you need a PT, I couldn't recommend him enough. I have never had a PT that was so knowledgeable and equally as genuine.

Fantastic experience: I recovered from ACL reconstruction surgery and wasn't feeling very confident in my knee heading into snowboard season. I reached out to Gavin on a recommendation from a friend and would absolutely pass along the recommendation. We figured out a plan based on the activities I prioritize and worked through weaknesses and addressed some mobility issues. He was open to working on other problem areas with me as well. He adapted workouts to the equipment (and lack thereof at home) that was available to me and was always available to answer questions. His style felt very personalized to my goals. Ski season is over and I can now say that I had 45 pain-free days on the mountain feeling strong and confident in my knee. Thanks Gavin!

Fantastic experience: Gavin was recommended to me by a client who absolutely RAVED about how effective his work was and how safe she felt in his care. I am beyond grateful to have been referred to him. My previous experiences with PT other places had been lackluster at best- the PT shows you an exercise, leaves you on your own, you're not sure if you're doing it right, they seem disengaged, and it's expensive. Power-Up Physical Therapy is the absolute opposite of that. First of all, Gavin is super disarming to talk to. There's something about him that just makes you feel comfortable, welcomed, accepted and in good hands. Second, he is INCREDIBLY SKILLED at his craft. He is with you personally the entire time during your appointment. His assessment skills are top notch and he combines different exercises with e-stim assisted dry needling for TREMENDOUS results. He helps you with treatment planning and getting you rescheduled before you leave. Third, he just provides such a higher echelon of care than your typical practitioner. I came into an appointment once, the week of experiencing an emotionally painful and traumatic event. While I was there, the release in my muscles from the dry needling produced an emotional release for me. As a Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Master, I know that this is common, healthy and normal but it was non the less, a vulnerable and potentially embarrassing thing to have happen. Not all practitioners are caring and professional in the right ways when things like this happen, but Gavin was. He made me feel comfortable, supported and never judged. I happily refer any of my clients from my business, True Bliss Massage & Reiki, to Gavin with full confidence and without hesitation. He's the best.

Fantastic experience: I had struggled with shin splints for years and after just a few short months with Gavin I can run completely pain free. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient and really stayed on top of adjusting my exercises as needed. He was always responsive when I had any questions and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I saw Gavin for several months during my recovery and rehab from shoulder surgery, and he was truly excellent to work with. He always did a great job of listening to what I was feeling and adjusting the treatment/workout based on that. He got me back to my sport and stronger than before the surgery sooner than I would have expected. As Claire also said below, he is very responsive and regularly checks in between appointments.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend working with Gavin for your recovery and training needs. I have dealt with recurring ACL and knee issues for years, and I was trying to avoid getting surgery a second time. Gavin's expertise, focus, and understanding of what it means to stay active and do the activities you want mean that he can provide the best recovery possible. With Gavin's help I went from chronic knee pain to being able to hike many miles, squatting and lifting heavy, and getting back to my routine in no time. Gavin is truly awesome at what he does!

Fantastic experience: I saw Gavin for a few months when he was at a previous location and he was phenomenal. When I started with him I would have days where I could hardly walk from hip pain, and by the time I stopped working with him I was running 4+ miles pain free. He is awesome at customizing his routine to what you need, provides great home workouts, is available over text/phone regularly between appointments, and is fun to be with.

Fantastic experience: Gavin is the best physical therapist I have ever encountered. I have a torn meniscus and Gavin got me back to running in less than 3 months. He is very skilled and knowledgeable in what he does as it was apparent from day one. He is patient and kind and appropriately pushes you to achieve your best results. He is very responsive and available if you have questions or need help.

Fantastic experience: Gavin is amazing. I saw him after a really nasty ankle injury. Because of personal circumstances, I waited a little too long to see him because of personal circumstances but he was not judgmental at all about why I waited so long. He is so good at what he does and made sure I knew what he was doing and why. He worked hard to get me back to my sport and doing what I love.

I have had many sports injuries throughout my life and have seen more than a dozen different PTs, Gavin’s skills are truly unmatched. He is a wonderful listener, knowledgeable, and dedicated to his work. He is able to incorporate several different techniques depending on your needs. When I first saw Gavin, I only had a few months to improve prior to a backpacking trip. I progressed very quickly and many problems that had been overlooked for years or could not be identified by other PTs he was able to address. I now live outside of Colorado, but would fly back to have him evaluate me (or anyone in my family) if I needed so in the future, he is without a doubt one of the best!
