Fantastic experience: Apryl was very helpful in getting my mobility back to normal, where it would've taken me much longer on my own!

Fantastic experience: I suffered a (rather unexpected) trimalleolar fracture to my left ankle back on May 25th. By the 28th, the great people at OSS were already examining my situation (previous appointment needed), and by the 30th, I was getting surgery at their Surgical Center located in Glendale. My honest opinion: Dr. Mark Mikhael and his whole team are as kind as they are professional. Especial mention to Katy Wong, a great physician assistant who, alongside with Dr. Mikhael helped me get back on my feet (no pun intended) as quickly and as painlessly as possible. I got follow up appointments on June 14, July 12, and Aug 21. Every single time I went, I got taken care of in a timely manner (I did do my part by showing up a tad earlier than expected and checking in with the front desk people) and everyone, from the X-Ray technicians to every single doctor and Healthcare specialist in the facilities were kind, attentive and on top of things. Definitely recommended if you're in the I comfortable situation of having to see an orthopedic specialist.

Negative experience: Terrible scheduling department, I think this is now the second time in 3 weeks that they canceled and have to reschedule my appointment, this time I was entering the building and was told via text they need to reschedule. After driving for 25 mins I am so angry. This also adds up to bad care because now I didn’t get my PT today. Thing twice before choosing this location for your PT.

Positive experience: They are not very flexible with changing schedule from week to week. I did have 16 visits approved. Essentially, they told insurance carrier to use another PT vendor as they didnt want to continue changing appointment times from week to week. So, I am now going to PerformaX Physical Therapy - Golf & Wellness Center. Great atmosphere to do Physical Therapy at in Burbank.

Fantastic experience: OSS Burbank Hand Therapy is a great facility with amazing and caring therapists. The location is central, parking is easy, the complex modern, and always clean. Therapist Christina Gaser is always upbeat, enthusiastic, and motivating. I highly recommend OSS Physical and Hand Therapy!

Fantastic experience: Dr J. Korchek helped me with my knee pain. He examined my knees, listened, and explained to me patiently. I really appreciate his help. Their team are so polite, kind and professional.

Fantastic experience: After I fractured a bone in my pinky finger, which required 14 stitches I was referred to PT for my finger. Everyone was professional and Sarah Milbrodt, my physical therapist was excellent. She answered all my questions and put me at ease that while it may take some time, my finger would eventually heal. I highly recommend this team.

Fantastic experience: After I fractured a bone in my hand, I was a bit hesitant about doing physical therapy, but the staff at OSS quickly changed my mind. It started when I scheduled my first appointments. The front desk team is professional and nice and answered all my questions. This helped put my mind at ease. They also remembered my name every time I came in. When it came time for my actual sessions, the therapy crew was awesome. They explained how everything would work and answered all my questions. During my sessions they asked questions of me to make sure i was comfortable with everything. The staff is filled with different personalities which I appreciate as it kept every session fresh and made me look forward to each one. I highly recommend OSS, but I hope I never have to go back.

Fantastic experience: I went to Dr. Mikhael for ankle ligament and bone spur surgery. The entire process was smooth and easy as surgery can be. I also went to their physical therapy center for recovery. Everyone there from Apryl to the PT assistants was ready and helpful. I’m three months post surgery and pretty much back to full use. Couldn’t recommend this group more. One tip, schedule your PT early so when you are cleared to start they have a spot for you.

Fantastic experience: The staff was very good at explaining and demonstrated how to do the exercises. They even gave me hand outs. They very professional. The only thing is you actually have to do the exercises on your own. You can’t just rely on the sessions.

Fantastic experience: I heartily recommend OSS Elite for anyone with carpal tunnel syndrome or any other hand problem (mine was arthritis in my wrist). The outstanding therapists there are so precise and knowledgeable, fully explain what each exercise does, give excellent training on changes to make in daily life movements, and make sure that each patient knows exactly how to do each assigned home exercise correctly. I give them a great big hand (couldn't resist that).

Fantastic experience: Great staff, caring, friendly, efficient, on time (very important to me) , effective pt. This is my second time at OSS - it's almost like I deliberately break a bone just for a reason to visit!. They are very thorough and knowledgeable and explain all the "whats" and "whys". And effective! I am amazed at how effective such seemingly simple exercises can be - but I have full range of motion in my wrist (fracture) and fingers ("trigger finger") after only four weeks' of visits (both instances). Luv y'all!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr. Jeanna Barsamian at OSS Therapy in Burbank. She listened well and taught me a lot while she was treating me. I loved chatting with her during our sessions. RoRo the therapy dog was also really helpful, and even though I am not a dog person, I really appreciated when he would join in during exercises or just come and say hi. I did really feel more at ease with him around. The other PTs in training were also wonderful and knowledgeable. I felt very cared for by everyone, challenged in my exercises, and I miss all the aides especially Alex, David, and Andrew! I won't miss trying to park there (tip: I learned you can park in the structure across Naomi, you just have to pay), but the people were great and I feel a lot better after 2 months treatment vs. previous physical therapy (elsewhere) I tried for the same neck/back issue they addressed.

Fantastic experience: I was suffering from an excruciating lower back pain that prevented me from doing any movement, except for standing and walking. After getting an MRI I was told by my Orthopedic Surgeon I had a 7mm herniated disc on my L5, Physical Therapy would not help, and my only options were to either get an epidural injection for a temporary pain relive or another microdiscectomy for a permeant solution (I had another microdiscectomy done two years prior on my L4). I did not want to undergo another surgery, nor did I want to get an injection, so I took my health in my own hands and disregarded my Orthopedic Surgeons’ suggestion and came to OSS Physical therapy and started working with Dr. Rafael and Alex. Without a doubt I was one of the most complicated patients because while I was in pain all the time, my pain was not consistent, and it would be different each time. Regardless of being one of the most complicated patients Dr. Rafael and Alex always welcomed me, were always kind and patient and most importantly listened to my concerns and changed my exercises if needed to help with my recovery. Finally, after about 8-9 months I have recovered, I am no longer in pain and when I do get pain, I am able to manage it with all the right exercises that were given to me by Dr. Rafael. I have worked with many other Physical Therapists in the past, and none were as knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient. I am forever grateful to have met Dr. Rafael and Alex and would most definitely recommend them to anyone that is suffering like I was.

Fantastic experience: OSS is great. I smacked my elbow up pretty good but my surgeon (also OSS) did an amazing job. And therapy got me the rest of the way. They got my strength and my flexibility back to almost normal in a very short space of time. Highly highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I came in after a shoulder injury prevented me from doing various breakdance freeze positions. I was matched up w Brandon Hsu and we went to work. Brandon was able to assess my needs and put me through the appropriate exercises to regain my shoulder's strength and flexibility. Brandon and Stephanie trained me for several months and I saw great improvement. The training was tough sometimes, but was also exactly what I needed. 5 stars. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Kudos to Dr. Abby Merrin and PT Alexandria Tayo. They helped me overcome my hip issue and I am now able to walk and run pain free. They were personable, kind and compassionate. Dr. Merrin took the time to explain the benefits of each exercise and how it would help diminish my symptoms. I would recommend OSS to anyone that needs physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: OSS is amazing! All around! The customer service is second to none. The receptionists are friendly and professional. And my physical therapist Brandon is phenomenal! He has a great personality, is warm, friendly, kind and compassionate. I appreciate that he listens so well to my concerns and always addresses them point by point. He explains things well and clearly which is so helpful in this process. He asks for feedback and incorporates it into his treatment plan. Most of all, he is encouraging and helpful and supportive. He feels more like a friend and he makes physical therapy enjoyable, something I wouldn’t have thought possible before. Same with his assistant Stephanie. On top of all this, everything worked and I feel better and graduated! That’s good and bad because I will miss Brandon, Stephanie and OSS being a positive part of any day in which i was there. I highly and fully and enthusiastically recommend OSS!

Positive experience: I was very happy with the level of service and care provided by Rafael and Alex. I did not like the constant giggling by the female staff when I would have the consulting session with my therapist before my exercises. It happened 90% of the time. That needs to be worked on.

Fantastic experience: I’m on the road to recovery after surgery and have a long way to go and Jesse at the Burbank location is really making the difference in accelerating my recovery. They all really care and practice with the utmost professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Excellent on every level (except for cutting my hand in the first place! ). Aside from my own stupidity, I got a recommendation from my primary physician to head to OSS for their hand specialty and between the main medical office and this satellite therapy office (just across the street), the staff has been incredibly pleasant and professional and their teamwork is really excellent. So far, everything seems to be going fine and I'm on track and I already have six weeks worth of appointments laid out in advance. I really couldn't be happier with anything, as the entire process has been extremely effortless.

Fantastic experience: I had an incredibly productive and pleasant experience. The crew were very knowledgeable, supportive, encouraging and effective. They curated and customized different exercises based on my condition and adapted them as I began to improve. My recovery was practically immediate and never regressed. I tore my MCL and had poor range of motion with pain. After a month on my own, I had no progress at all. I then began therapy with OSS PT. After only about 10 sessions, I had a full recovery. I was simply amazed at how fast I was able to recover. I owe that to the adaptive style and variety of strength and stretching exercises that were catered to my condition. I felt they really listened and understood me and what I needed to improve. It was truly a professional and complete experience. I can’t recommend them any more highly for physical therapy needs. Fantastic experience: I have been attempting PT for years and haven’t enjoyed or seen results, until I worked with Dr Tang and Stephanie. They are a great team. Dr Tang, listened to my concerns, understood my limitations and customized my workout to maximize the results . Stephanie followed through with the exercises and helped pushed me to my best abilities. It’s bitter sweet to have finished PT because a huge part of me is very happy with the results at the same time sad this journey has come to an end. Great staff, great program and great results

Fantastic experience: Jeanna was absolutely lovely. Physical therapy over zoom was easy, comprehensive, and never felt like I was being given short shrift. Genuine care was applied to every visit, and the doctor and her resident were so lovely and accommodating. I can’t say enough lovely things about them!

Fantastic experience: Hallie, David, Hanook, Ashlee and Jessie worked with me and they were all very professional and conscientious. They listened to all my wrist complaints and they would make sure my wrist would feel better. When I first came to therapy I was doubtful that it was going to help my wrist, I’m glad to say I was wrong, all the mentioned therapists made a difference and on my last visit my wrist was so much better, I was ready to face it alone. Kudos to all of them and the rest of the therapists in OSS!

Fantastic experience: My time at OSS Elite couldn’t have been more positive. I was dealing with an injury to my back, a fractured ankle and the emotional stress of COVID. My PT David and his assistant Stephanie were compassionate, caring and professional. They made a great team. The therapy plan was tailored to my specific needs and adjusted as needed. I received everything I needed to know to do my therapy at home between therapy appointments, as well. All of my questions were taken seriously and answered thoroughly. My case was complicated due to my age and other health issues, so my PT offered a helpful strategy for the exercises given to accomplish the max amount of benefit. They both were very patient with me and knowledgeable which gave me a confidence of being in good hands. I attribute my speedy recovery largely as a result from the excellent and effective care I received at OSS Elite. I highly recommend this practice for anyone needing physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Brandon is an excellent therapist. Very positive and motivating... Overall I think I worked with 3 different PTs and 4 different assistants over my 4 months there (due to scheduling changes on my part, but primarily Brandon) and I had positive experiences with every one of them.

They had great bedside manners and gave me really good tips to workout on my own time. They also had really good follow-up. I really enjoyed working with Dr. Tang and would highly recommend them if you need physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: All the staffers working there are extremely welcoming, caring people. Very knowledgable and thorough. I could feel improvement from the first day. Even though I had a complicated shoulder/arm injury, I was given a comprehensive exercise regimen I could do at home between sessions and my range of movement improved greatly, and much faster than I thought possible. Friends who'd had experience with this facility said OSS Elite was the best, and they were right!

Fantastic experience: OSS Physical Therapy, what can I say? The Clinicians are well trained and very caring. The office is clean and well stocked with helpful items to get an ailing person back on track.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit but, I am so impressed with my PT, David Tang, he really knows what he is doing. He was very professional and so nice. Fantastic experience: I have spent the last 7 months at OSS working with therapists getting my two knees back in action. 4 days before Covid got my left knee replaced and then a manipulation in May. In June I had my right knee replaced.snd a manipulator in September. I am so thankful to have had the privilege to come to OSS 3 to 5 days a week. Each day we had a goal that we worked towards and then a weekly goal to meet or surpass each End of week Friday. The spirit, enthusiasm and dedication of the young men and women who work there are to be commended as they’ve made such a change in my life and how I face each day to overcome my wonky knees that are now after 7 months of work are reminiscent of iron man’s or Steve Austin’s (fir any who remember him) bionic legs!!!!!:)

Fantastic experience: I've had alot of physical therapy in my day but this place is the BEST. My PT (Brandon and Alex) were there to guide me every step of the way. They listen to what you have to say. If something doesn't work for you then they go to plan B. Everyone from the front desk to the PTs to the technician they were always very professional. Its a place where you don't want to leave. But for me, my time has ended and I will truly miss everyone there.

She gave me helpful info and exercises to do at home and massages my hand, wrist and arm to make it feel better. Fantastic experience: Let's start by saying, It is not an easy decision when the time comes for you or your family to have to find a place for your loved one to . There are so many thoughts that cross your mind. For example, is the place clean, do the therapist care, do they have engaging exercises to help with the problem, do they have quality staff? I have have to say hands down OSS has been an outstanding facility. I can't even say enough about every single person that works there. Starting with Natalie, all the way down to the very last employee. They are all amazing! They are all so thoughtful and caring. They are friendly and always smiling. I can say these things because between me and patient we are there a lot! I would highly recommend this place, if you want to know your loved one is in good hands.

Fantastic experience: I limped into OSS Elite scared but not discouraged. The staff was extremely supportive and encouraging. Early on I knew that I was in good hands with competent professionals guiding me. I quickly learned to trust them and lost all fear. The kindness shown by staff was yet another example of their dedication and professional approach demonstrated by them. Fantastic experience: I tore my rotator cuff on my dominant arm--a complete through and through tear-- and decided to forego surgery in favor of trying physical therapy. I went for PT at OSS twice weekly for about two months and once weekly for about a month. My therapy was orchestrated and overseen by Jeena Barsamian, but I spent most of my time with Raphael Cahill, a PT student at USC, and Stephanie, one of the PT techs. They provided me with a customized exercise program which I continued at home. I made great progress and I am grateful for their instruction, patience, and knowledge. I actually looked forward to the therapy sessions and I think that PT helped me salvage most of the function, flexibility, and mobility of my shoulder. I am back to almost throwing a 95 MPH fastball! My back is also a disaster, and they also gave me some exercises that work both the back and shoulder that have been quite helpful. I highly recommend OSS.
