Fantastic experience: I love this place-- The staff is ultra knowledgeable and ultra friendly. I've been through a few PT centers and this one is by far and wide the best of them all. Not only that, but they are highly organized and equip you to be successful on your own- either between sessions, or after completion of a specific program. Carina was my PT and she is a true gem. She made it so that I actually enjoyed going in for my appts (despite my hatred of gym equipment and the like haha)! I went in for some relatively minor issues and ended up learning a ton and enjoying the process. HIGHLY recommend this place for any and all physical issues-- the clientele ranges from young to old with every body type and fitness level therein.

Fantastic experience: Chris Robles is THE man. I came here with a torn acl and feeling stiffer than I've ever felt. Today was my last day of prehab, and I am feeling strong and optimistic for my surgery. Hopefully I can make it back to Chris post-op. It was a real treat to work with him! Special shout out to all the strength trainers as well, keeping me on my game!

Fantastic experience: I had a fabulous experience at PerformaX. My physiotherapist Chris was a complete professional - very encouraging, knowledgeable, and empathetic and personable. I broke my ankle and Chris worked on my ankle at each visit to improve my mobility and provided me with exercises to complete in the clinic and at home. The app that contains all the exercises and the ability to message with Chris was very helpful. Overall, this facility is cutting edge and has wonderful customer service. Shout out to Jeremy and Eli who were excellent at advising me on completing my exercises in good form. It’s a joyful clinic and everyone genuinely seemed happy at work.

Fantastic experience: Had several weeks of PT here with Carina for some unpleasant tennis elbow and happy to say I'm almost back to 100%! Fantastic experience: Knowledgeable Staff, Clean Environment, Easy Parking... and for me I like this place because they have a lot of equipment and they place an emphasis on doing the work (working you out) versus other places which seem to do a lot of e-stimulation, light massage which in my case lengthened my recovery time. Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend this Performax location for any kind of PT. I went through 8 months of physical therapy here dealing with a knee injury then post-op after surgery and Carina and Sarmen were extremely helpful getting me recovered and back to an active life.

Fantastic experience: I was carefully evaluated to determine the best PT exercises to strengthen my knees and stop any pain. I was listened to about my back problems and inflammatory problems, and so given exercises that did not exacerbate any other problems, but only worked to address the knee situation. Carina and Ely worked with me and were very good.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to PerformaX for a fractured knee and torn rotator cuff. Dr. Alex has performed miracles in getting me back into gear in a very short time. He is knowledgeable and patient with me. All of the therapists and receptionists at PerformaX are on top of their game. Would definitely recommend to others who want to return to their lives before injuries.

Fantastic experience: If you've tried the rest, PerformaX is the best. You are thoroughly evaluated by a Doctor of Physical Therapy with many years experience. The exercises are designed for your specific condition, not a one-size-fits-all approach. You are carefully monitored by experts with experience and knowledge, not someone more interested in their phone then your form. You are also carefully evaluated to see if you are improving. Plus they encourage you to use an app that does not allow you to cheat. They know when you are exercising and when you are not. In about two months, I experienced a 40% increase in neck mobility on my bad side and 60% on my good side. My chiropractor said that was an "impressive" improvement and my thoracic spine is better than it's ever been. My therapist is Dr Jeanna. I met her some years ago after I was injured by a PT who was more interested in joking with another PT then watching what he was doing. I had a minor injury, but I was so impressed by the way she worked, I asked to see her for something more serious. That was one of the best decisions I ever made. She could have simply followed existing exercise protocol and if it didn't work, shrug her shoulders and say well, we tried. Good luck to you. Instead, she carefully observed what I was doing and if it didn't work, change the exercise so it did work. Sometimes she would invent an entirely new exercise. She has a vast body of knowledge about PT, but she never stops learning. She is very approachable and down to earth. You would never know what a genius she is until you've actually experienced the results. By the way, If you are wondering if this is the same incredible Dr Jeanna who disappeared from OSS Elite in Burbank and Glendale sometime during the pandemic, I am happy to report yes! Also, the Performax clinic is under the same ownership as in the past. However, Dr. Jeanna is the new clinical director and Performax also has a new staff.

Negative experience: The PT was fine. Felt like they were new to dealing with what my injury was but my reason for the review is not specifically about the PT but with the front desk girl. No long soliloquy here.. she seems miserable & she’s just awful to deal with.

Fantastic experience: I received remarkable care from everyone at PerFormax! My physical therapist and assistant have helped me immensely with neck, lower back and nerve issues.

Fantastic experience: Came in for some pain I was experiencing in my hamstring and did PT with them for a few weeks! Super professional, kind, and patient staff members who always helped me feel supported. Alex, Christopher, and Sarmen were fantastic to work with! A definite recommendation for anyone who may be in need of their services!

Negative experience: Avoid if trying to use your insurance! They assigned me a therapist that was a PT aide/ student one week ago to assess, design, and implement my treatment program with zero oversight from a more experienced PT. He had no clue. I’m recovering from spinal surgery - maybe throw the kid an easy one like carpel tunnel syndrome for his first case….Everyone working there looked like they were under 25 and I noticed in their paperwork all the more senior PTs listed on their website are cash-based / out-of-network.

Fantastic experience: This was the best experience I’ve had with a PT provider. I needed PT post op from a shoulder injury. I primarily worked with Carina who was amazing. Sarmen, and the PT assistance folks I also worked with were all fantastic. 100% recommend.

Fantastic experience: After suffering a bad fall at work, I had an extensive shoulder surgery. I was scheduled for 12 visits at PerformaX Physical Therapy. My PT Physician (DR) was Alex Luu. He was extremely thorough and always seemed empathetic to my situation. An extremely Positive and reassuring individual who motivated me and my recovery to a level that I have not experienced in past PT recoveries, in my life of almost 60 years. I was discouraged in the speed of recovery but in the end, I am completely reassured that in seeing the progress achieved from beginning to end, I should make an acceptable recovery due to my age and severity of injury. I (100%) recommend this establishment and all the therapists who assist there. They are top notch.

Fantastic experience: I just recently completed my physical therapy at Performax for back pain. My primary team was: Doctor Alex Luu, Sarmen, and Angela. I also sometimes worked with aides Alex D. and Jason A. On my first day Doctor Alex did an assessment to get a baseline of where I was at. I was weak when I first came in so Doctor Alex had a lot to accomplish leveling me up to reduce my back pain! I was given exercises that were appropriate for me, and the team were collaborative and open to discuss when the exercises were feeling like they were too much for me and when they felt ready to be increased. There is an app that the exercises are added into so when doing them at home you have an easy to access list of the exercises and how to do them. I appreciated that a portion of my appointment was working through the exercises while being supervised by a member of the team, most frequently Angela. I realized on multiple occasions that I wasn’t doing the exercises at home the way they were intended so Angela would retrain me so I could do them correctly. She was kind and never talked to me like I was a big silly when she had to tell me how to do step downs correctly for the 10th time! Everyone who works there is professional and appears to have a strong knowledge base in the world of PT. This is blended with a culture that is laid back and casual. I never felt like I was walking into a medical facility. It felt more like let’s hang out and do some PT! They play upbeat music (usually curtesy of Sarmen or Alex D.) that contributes to the relaxed culture they have fostered. Everyone I interacted with was personable and friendly. When scheduling appointments and talking to Nicole or Rae Lyn they were approachable and positive and were accommodating of my schedule. I came a long way in the few months I was there. I can now last significantly longer standing still without back pain and in my last assessment with Doctor Alex I had proven to be much stronger than when I started. I am still surprised the PT worked so well! It feels like graduating high school at the end; you’ve gotten everything you need from the experience but will miss going there every week. I’ll also miss the team mascot, a cute little white dog! Cue graduation music

Fantastic experience: Performax is an outstanding facility. It was advantageous working with such a knowledgeable and respectful team. Each one of them went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and understood each exercise. Alex Luu really listened to my concerns and gave me the confidence to work with my injured knee. “Sargent” Sarmen has outstanding people skills, very knowledgeable and attention to detail helping me perform exercises correctly. Assistants Alex and Arthur I was grateful for their smiles and encouragement assisting me to complete exercises. Arthur will be missed, wishing him all the best in his future studies as he will make a great PT! Leading up to and post op from my second knee surgery I’ve been working with Carina Mahserejian. She is not only knowledgeable and very professional but great bed side manner. Even on my toughest days post op she was very empathetic and encouraging. Thanks to her help I’m finally walking on my own and getting stronger each day. The only thing I wish they could take the empty business space beside them so the place wouldn’t be as crowded.

Fantastic experience: Went in to try and treat my back spasms and they were great! Really helpful and smart staff, gave me good exercises and stretches and made sure I was doing them correctly. Could ask any question I had and have definitely get an improvement even just six weeks out.

Fantastic experience: Loved my experience at PerformaX. After knee surgery, I continued to have pain in my glutes. My pain decreased so significantly in 8 weeks thanks to the care I received from Dr.Alex , Sarmen and Angela. I loved talking to the doctor first and then getting exercises based on where I was having pain that day. Love having an app for exercises and still having access to all my exercises after "graduation". Everyone at the facility is lovely to work with. Fantastic experience: Eight months ago I was hit by a car while riding my bicycle. I was thrown of my bike and landed with my right leg twisted under me. I had complicated fractures and displacement of my tibial plateau and proximal fibula. My right knee had shifted out of alignment. I had two surgeries and was then on two to three months of non weight bearing bed rest to help the bones heal and reduce the swelling. Finally in January of 2024 I was given the OK to start PT with 50% weight allowed on the injured leg. That was when I first hobbled into PerformeX with a big cast on my right leg-still in lots of pain and using a walker and wheelchair to get around. I started working with Dr. Justin Pantaleon. He reviewed all my medical records and notes and examined my injury before we got started. He was serious from day one, we shared the same goal, to get me back to being independent again, to be able to walk and go back to all my normal activities. At first we met three times a week plus he gave me detailed excercises with visuals to work on daily at home. He helped me reduce swelling, massaged my foot and leg as needed and slowly, over the next six months, he brought me back to being almost back to where I was before the accident. I now am back to walking, yoga, swimming and riding my bike again. I can climb steps again and do most of my daily activities as before. I never thought it was possible, but his diligence and positive reinforcement was inspirational. I also worked closely with his caring and motivational assistant Angela, doing an hour of exercises each time we met. Last week I graduated from PerformeX. It was a proud moment as I never believed I could get back to where I am today at my senior age. I highly recommend PerformeX for they are truly a team of professional therapists & staff who really care about your recovery. I will forever be thankful to PerformeX. Thank you!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr Alex and his team were fantastic with my 11yo who sustained an injury from soccer which left him unable to play for 8 weeks. Dr Alex was very thorough with his assessment and treatment. His team of therapists were engaging and knowledgeable - my son looked forward to his sessions at PerformaX. I hope we don’t ever need to go back - but should life happen and we find ourselves needing physical therapy again, we would go back to PerformaX in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: The best thing about PerfomaX Elite Physical Therapy is that everyone you encounter always asks this question: "How are you feeling?" That is a very crucial question to ask especially of a physical therapy paitent. Only the paitent knows what is going on inside their body, level of pain. I underwent PT with Dr. Carina Mahserejian and she is very professional: does a complete intake of all the injuries and related pain. Asks about pain levels. More information is always best for a complete picture. Dr. Mahserejian begins slowly with easy exercises and builds up always asking along the way "How are you feeling?" The process is this: The doctors will access your injury and formulate a plan for your therapy. The first part of your hour the doctor begins with you asking how you are feeling and doing in your daily routine. Then you do the exercises prescribed for you. The techs will assist you at this point and ask how you are doing with the exercises. I really liked how I was always asked how I was doing and frequently offered water. The facility is like a gym, lots of equipment for you to use. Always kept very clean. Surfaces are cleaned after use. I actually enjoyed the physical therapy at PerformaX Elite Physical Therapy! I would recommend and if needed, I would engage the services of PerformaX Elite Physical Therapy again.

Fantastic experience: I had Achilles Tendonitis and did 2 sessions a week for 6 weeks. Upon completion it was a 90% improvement, the remaining 10% is age! Therapy also helped my knee pain. I worked mainly with Carina and Alex and once with Sarmen. All very professional and knowledgeable. Great team and environment. I highly recommend them for assessment and a physical therapy program!

Fantastic experience: Never had physical therapy before, this was my first forray into the genre. Justin explained everything to me about my broken foot. Wise beyond his years, his expertise and zen approach helped me understand the process. The space looked like a private gym, even with golfclubs. If only I was at Pebble or Spyglass!

Fantastic experience: PT so good, I had to go twice! With an injury that keeps on giving, PerformaX and their team are getting me back on track for a second round of recovery. Though it was a luck of the draw using the VA Medical system, I found myself returning to the team I had, building on that rapport, in a facility with earned trust. They did it once, they can do it again. Much like taking a pit stop in the race of life, I am an active person, training in Crossfit regularly and just needed a team to help re-calibrate the wear and tear of… Burning Man ‘23: Burning Mud / Mud Max. The unexpected movement and negotiation of the conditions, after days of dancing… all of that basically. It’s already working wonders, and I’m only half way through “re-calibration” of this hyper-extended aggravated knee. 5 stars. Have repeated. Would repeat again.

Fantastic experience: I brought my elderly mother to PerformaX with what I thought were realistic expectations. After all, she's over 90. Dr. Justin Pantaleon blew past those expectations with expertise, skill and so much patience. First he helped resolve some of her ongoing pain issues. After that little miracle he improved her range of motion, her stamina, and her posture. He taught her to walk with more confidence. My mother moves better now than she has in more years than I can count -- all thanks to Justin. He knows this stuff. He's very, very good at it. He will treat you with respect and dignity. Fantastic experience: PerformaX Physical Therapy is by far the absolute best PT I've ever had. I have had several rounds of PT in the past for 2 spine surgeries and residual back pain from scar tissue due to a car accident. I have never had the kind of stunning results that I have had under the care of Dr. Carina Mahserejian and Sarmen Taejoian at PerformaX. I've been to PerformaX for treatment for severe pain from plantar fasciitis following foot surgery and a separate treatment for neck pain/severe headaches following a cervical fusion following another car accident that injured me and my 8 year old daughter. It's unbelievable how gifted these two are in healing my pain. Never before has PT made such a difference in my life. Thanks to the great care of these therapists, I'm doing things in my life I had worried I'd never be able to do again. My daughter's pediatrician ordered her PT for her neck injury at PerformaX following our car accident and she also saw Dr. Carina Mahserejian and Sarmen Taejoian. She graduated and is excelling in her exercises and self care they taught her. She didn't want to stop going because she felt the warmth and affection from the wonderful staff. Alex, Seth and Tara all deserve a shout out for the great job they do. Everyone here makes sure that from the first day you come in that you are cared about, safe in everything you do. They are genuine in asking how you're doing and how you did after the last PT session. Trust this place! They are doing everything get you back out living in your best life. I'm forever grateful! Fantastic experience: PerformaX is a great place to go for physical therapy. The Physical Therapists and assistants are all very professional and friendly. And if you go in for one problem but mention another they will try to help you with that as well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needed some PT.

Fantastic experience: I went to PerformaX for about 3 months to address severe sciatica pain that I believed would never improve. Dr. Alex Luu was my PT, and the treatment I received could not have been more thorough, individualized, and effective. Dr. Alex was genuinely invested in my recovery and was great to work with, along with the amazing Arthur and Sean who assisted throughout the process. The facility is modern and beautiful with quality equipment. I also loved PerformaX's app that guided my home program and allowed me to message Dr. Alex whenever I had questions. Even after "graduating," I've been allowed to keep the app and the home program going. I highly recommend PerformaX for any and all of your physical therapy needs! And thank you to the whole team for helping me heal and recover!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Alex Luu was my PT specialist. I have "graduated" from my rehab and do all the exercises on my own. I am a fitness person, ex-jock, martial arts etc guy. I've been referred for PT numerous times and usually not very impressed. Not with Alex. He diagnosed me thoroughly, covering every area I needed to continue working out pain free and physically "able" to work around the chronic injuries I've sustained from years of crazy workouts. If you need PT don't hesitate to see him, you will not be disappointed and on your way to being the best you can physically!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend PerformaX Physical Therapy for any sort of rehab that you may need. I was sent there to address my Achilles tendon pain but I also had some knee issues. Alex Luu, my physical therapist, addressed everything, even some other minor issues that I was having trouble with. Everyone there is very thorough in making sure that your issues are acknowledged, that you are doing the exercises correctly, and that any questions you may have are answered. I am getting stronger and my pain is less severe. I am looking forward to continuing to improve and being able to move about pain free.

They are all very knowledgeable and very caring. They are very personable and professional. They really care about how you are feeling and always listen to you. I have been to many physical therapy places before. This is by far the most positive experience I have ever had. I feel so much better with all of the knowledge and exercises they have given me. Fantastic experience: I went to PerformX and Dr. Carina for 3 months this summer to repair a lower back issue that was causing severe pain in my foot. My entire experience here was really great, highly recommend them. It's the 4th PT experience that I have had in Burbank in about 12 years and by far the best. Dr. Carina is knowledgeable and explains everything really well, all the techs I met were encouraging also. The space is clean and large enough that everyone is not on top of each other. Their app is easy to use and makes it easy to train at home too. Couldn't recommend more!

Fantastic experience: This is a perfect example of how a good business works . The staff is Excellent. The work outs are well planned and we’ll suited for your individual injuries. Dr Carina is well versed in physical therapy and fully comprehends what it takes to get you up and back to being a normal human being. Sarmen is methodical and since he is an athlete himself, fully understands what you are going through. Seth and Vanessa are a great supporting cast as they too are very knowledgeable . They are a fun group of kids . Thank you all for all you’ve done. I can finally get back to running on heels.

Fantastic experience: This was an amazing experience! As a professional stunt performer, I needed to get back into peak performance ability really quickly, and the staff at Performax got me there fast. Dr Alex Luu was incredibly attentive and professional and listened to me, which made it really easy to listen to and trust him and the process. Special shout out to Sarmen, Arthur, and Alex, I couldn’t have done this without you guys!

Fantastic experience: I went to PerformaX for about six months for physical therapy (PT). My physical therapist was Justin; he was exceptional - professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He helped me to improve significantly over time. The facility is also nice and well-kept, and the staff is fantastic. Everyone speaks to and supports their colleagues and all patients, which creates a friendly environment. I also worked with Victor often; he assists Justin and the other physical therapists. He has strong technical and people skills, and I appreciated his support. If I should ever have to return to physical therapy, this will be the place.

Fantastic experience: I found PerformaX Physical Therapy after an experience at another physical therapy provider. PerformaX quality of care is what I credit my progress to. In 2022 every business was coming out of a pandemic and physical therapy clinics were balancing patient load with Covid restrictions. When I first walked in I could see and feel PerformaX had a cohesive, congenial team that worked well together. Tera and Mercy greeted me. They set the tone by being so friendly and welcoming while they expertly juggled scheduling and administrative duties. I requested a female therapist and was so fortunate to work with Dr. Jeanna Barsamian for many reasons. Jeanna was very thorough in assessing me before beginning therapy. The assessment of my abilities and confirming a course of action laid the groundwork for me to succeed in physical therapy. She was able to accommodate my special needs and continued to be sensitive to them during the course of my therapy. Jeanna’s training and her life’s experiences very positively inform her work on many levels. She is resourceful and knowledgeable and knew how to work around impediments; nothing became a barrier to my healing. At each appointment I would have a check-in with Jeanna to assess my progress and review some of the therapeutic exercises. She would coordinate with Ulises Ochoa who was very attentive guiding me through my therapy regimen and made sure I could replicate the exercises when I would be on my own. Both Jeanna and Ulises exhibited the highest professionalism assuring I understood what I was doing and they demonstrated how to accurately perform movements in a way that would benefit me. Their approach was caring and straightforward and that was consistent throughout my treatment. I came away from my appointments uplifted from seeing what I was able to do. An integral part of my work came via the osmosis of Ulises’ and Jeanna’s positive attitudes towards their own work and lives. There was always a through line from appointment to appointment as they observed my progress. At PerformaX I found the finest teachers to assist me in learning how to heal from my injuries.

Fantastic experience: I have had such an amazing experience at PerformaX. I had shoulder surgery and as an athlete any injury of this extent is very discouraging. Physical therapy became on of the things I began to get excited for because of how amazing Dr. Steven and the whole team at PerformaX are. Fantastic experience: Bittersweet! I limped into PerformaX over 5 months ago in a knee brace fresh off of my ACL surgery. Fast-forward through 25+ difficult yet rewarding physical therapy sessions and here I am ringing the bell to conclude successful rehabilitation. Although it took a lot of work and commitment on my end, I couldn't have done this without the wonderful team at PerformaX. The team at PerformaX shows the upmost care, compassion, and commitment ensuring the health and rehabilitation progress of their patients. At the end of it all, I gained strength in my operated knee that I never knew I had. Although the entire team at PerformaX are gems, special shout out to the following - Dr. Ray - Thank you for prepping me to get back on the b-ball court. You implemented therapy with b-ball drills to ensure proper strengthening of my knee. You show the upmost care to your patients; even if that meant breaking a sweat or two. Sarmen - Your knowledge is astonishing! I learned so many new exercises and drills to ensure my knees are in great shape moving forward. You really took it above and beyond to ensure that I was taken care of and without pain. Go CR7! Matt Gomez - You were an absolute pleasure to work with. It was always difficult at the end of my sessions but you pushed me to ensure I reached the finish line (after doing single-leg RDL's :)) Ulises - Although I only had a couple sessions with you, I know that you are a valuable asset to PerformaX. You are very knowledgeable and show care to ensure I was always taken care of. Seth - Definitely need Tennis lessons once I reach the 9-month mark. Last but not least, the front desk receptionists were always helpful, friendly, and made sure that I had booked appointments in advance (yes, appointments book weeks in advance). They also handled any billing issues that I had with insurance. The owner has really built something special here - thank you again to everyone! G

Fantastic experience: Performax has seriously changed my life for the better! I came in here with an extremely tight lower back and pain in my shoulder. Within the first few sessions, my pain became manageable and my self esteem boosted immensely. Shoutout to Sarmen for working with me! His approach really worked well for me, not just for my pain relief but he also helped motivate me to push myself further. Without Sarmen’s care, I don’t think I’d be in the shape I am today. The front desk staff are always pleasant and helpful, and the therapeutic staff are knowledgeable, empathic, and their programs work. I’ve worked primarily with Raymond, Sarmen, and Ulises for both my foot and shoulder and can’t recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I have been to Performax for various sport and exercise related injuries and have had great success in my recovery processes thanks to Performax. This last injury, both shoulders, was very painful when I started out. I started to work directly with Dr. Steven Newton who basically brought me back from the dead. Its been a long road but his techniques and expertise have helped me out tremendously. Steven is also the owner and he has put together a strong group of therapists and a great support staff! I was just discharged this week and leaving Performax was bitter sweet. I am happy that I am able to continue my recovery by exercising at home but will miss the interaction with Steven and his staff! Fantastic experience: I went to Performax for a frozen shoulder for about 16 weeks, twice a week. My shoulder is about 99% better. My orthopedist said I was improving much faster than most of his clients and I honestly feel it was because of Performax. They knew exactly what to do and explained why they choose every exercise they did for my treatment. I never felt like I was in the dark. Everyone is lovely and genuinely wants you to improve.

I really appreciated the groupthink in this area. They took careful notes in my progress, which allowed anyone that saw me to pick up where the other left off. Fantastic experience: PerformaX has completely over exceeded my expectations of what physical therapy is all about. Steven, the owner, really cares about your improvement and progress. I started PT there due to a thumb injury and very incredulous that PT would help me. 16 sessions later I can say it 100% helped me and I canceled my surgery appointment!!! I’m back to normal life movement!! Steven’s excellent leadership shows through with all his staff. All the staff are well versed in PT and are simply kind and respectful to all the patients. I will definitely return to PerformaX if I have any further PT needs.

Ben is amazing, took his time to study my ankle…foot…standing positions….figured out some issues, helped strengthen areas and am walking like nothing happened!

Fantastic experience: I came to PerformaX for physical therapy with a perscription from my surgeon in preparation for a surgery on my hip. Before physical therapy and my surgery, I slowly deteriorated over a couple of years until I couldn't walk anymore without crutches. I have two young children, so this was an especially serious problem, and seemed to sneek up on me out of nowhere. My doctor thought it was from an old injury at first, but it turned out to be an anatomical anomaly that basically meant my femur was slipping out of its socket all the time. This being a pretty rare and serious problem, I really had no expectation that a physical therapist would have any idea what to do with my case. But the people at PerformaX helped me to understand my surgeon's protocol for therapy before and after surgery, and took great care to build up my strength without irritating or reinjuring my hip. Emanuel especially helped me to maintain a specific set of exercises and taught me things I could do at home unassted to alleviate pain and prevent reinjury. He listened to me and made sure he was pushing me when I was capable, and backing off when there was any chance of reinjury. After going through this several month journey, I can honestly say I trust PerformaX and the wonderful people there. Every single person who worked with me was kind and compassionate, and they worked together as a team to make sure I was in good shape for my surgery and recovered properly. I felt they were all really invested in my wellbeing. I'm back to almost 100% now, walking, running, jumping, and everything else I used to do, and deeply grateful for it. I also want to add that everyone there is very diligent about using masks properly at all times, which was a great weight off my mind. Many places say that they require masks, but aren't always consistent about their use. So to everyone at PerformaX, thank you for making sure everyone is as safe as possible given the circumstances. And of course, thank you for helping me walk again!

Fantastic experience: After running the LA Marathon I was referred to PerformaX by an ortho surgeon for my Patellar Tendonitus— otherwise known as “jumper’s knee.” I had never done PT before and didn’t know what to expect. I was immediately impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of Gabby and Karen at the front desk. They always made the scheduling and health insurance navigation extremely efficient. The facilities themselves are kept organized and extremely clean— a necessity in today’s Covid age. In fact, the entire staff was always up to date on all the latest Covid protocols and seemed to take them very seriously. I was first given a thorough evaluation and then was put through a series of different strength and stretching exercises. My personal recovery plan was expertly contained and updated for me on their PerformaX App— which is super user friendly. It made keeping track of my exercises to do at home a breeze. By the end of my 6 weeks, my knee was pain free. I cannot say enough good things about Steven, the owner, Manny, Sarmen and the rest of the PT staff. Everyone, top to bottom, was exceptionally knowledgeable and fun to work with. The thing that stood out to me most was that they all seemed invested in my recovery and never stopped thinking of the best ways to keep me on track. Thank you so much PerformaX for getting me back out there running again!

Fantastic experience: A great place for PT. Very professional and friendly. I felt very comfortable going to my appointments. Very kind people. I was happily surprised to find all employees masked and the place was kept very clean. I worked with Austin, Manny and Matt. Came first day in much pain. They taught me much more than the exercises but also what not to do and overuse of the wrong muscles. Helped me in all areas of my life. The app is fantastic as well. 5 stars from me.
