Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Vargo in Burbank for a while, and I can say my recovery has been shaped by the exceptional people who work here. The PT aides are truly great I want to give a special mention to Chelsea T. and Andrea R., who have taken such incredible care of me. Chelsea is simply amazing as her diligence is unmatched as she is consistently motivating, and also brings a sense of humor to our sessions that makes the hard work feel lighter. While Andrea is also knowledgeable and ensures I am performing every exercise with the correct form. They are both kind, professional, and even when juggling several clients, they do so with grace and efficiency. I also want to acknowledge other PT aides Wendy, Alec, and Jessica, who have also been a helpful part of my treatment. My Physical Therapists, Adam and Matt, have been instrumental in my healing, taking the time to teach me about my injuries and helping me to improve and feel better. The Directors Marc leadership deserves credit for how smoothly this location runs. I recommend you come on the same day of the week so you get treated by the same people, as you may run into other employees on different days.

Fantastic experience: If you need physical therapy, this is where you should seek treatment. The entire staff is wonderful! The standouts for me where Chelsea, Matt and Angie. They made me feel comfortable and supported! They went above and beyond and I am grateful for the care they gave me. I hope that this facility appreciates and values their employees as they are truly amazing!

Fantastic experience: This is my second time using Vargo Physical Therapy in Burbank. The facility is clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything needed for effective rehabilitation. My PT Therapists, Andy and Matt are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and invested in helping me heal. I have two personalized plans (one for my knee and one for my hip) both making a difference in my recovery. My PT Aid, Chelsea is a wonder! She balances professionalism with encouragement. She is keenly aware of my PT plans and keeps me on track with my “exercises”, correcting me and making adjustments, if needed. Each session leaves me feeling stronger and more confident. I don’t know that anyone wishes for Physical Therapy. It takes time, commitment and discipline. But should I need it again my first call will be to Vargo Physical Therapy in Burbank

Fantastic experience: Pt Aide: Chelsea is friendly, compassionate , knowledgeable and caring. Pt, Shahnur: is extremely knowledgeable, professional, gentle and caring. He takes the time to explain my progress. He encourages me not to give up. Jackie and Laura from the front desk are always friendly and helpful. I recommend this amazing place.

Fantastic experience: Vargo Therapy has been my go-to venue for over 3 years due to a broken femur and necrosis of the left hip. As a general observation the organization is well-run and everyone is attentive and professional, however, in every organization there are always a few who stand out! The PT Aide, who is especially a caregiver and takes special care of her clients, is Chelsea, with close runners-up of Angie and Jessica. Matt has been my principle physical therapist for about a year now and, with his expertise, my improvement has been spectacular. Recently, I fell and injured my right knee, so I now have a new routine, but I noticed improvement immediately. Adam, another physical therapist, works on my balance with me and his support has greatly added to my confidence in that area of my life. And, as always, those ladies at the front desk are the first line of contact and Laura and Jackie are amazing! I strongly suggest Vargo Therapy; Chelea, Matt, and the other caregivers. Fantastic experience: I love Vargo physical therapy. Every one is nice , smiling , friendly and on time . I hate to wait when I have an appointment. My PT , Shahnur was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, he helped my recovery. If I need to go back ill request him . The PT aides are very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Chelsea, Jessica , Andrea , Ryan are great . Smiling all the time they make you feel better . Bottom line is , place is great , everyone is nice .

Fantastic experience: I was sent here by my insurance after my surgery. I had been to 3 other places prior to surgery so I was skeptical at best and had my guard up. Everyone has been so friendly and accommodating throughout the entire process. The front desk staff and the PTs are great, the aides are super helpful and attentive, especially Chelsea, Jessica, and Angie. If I have a question they are always ready to assist. They don't just work my injury but also the areas around it to help support the weaker area. I've actually had another issue/injury arise and I asked my insurance to send me back here because I know I'm getting the care I need.

Fantastic experience: Love Vargo Burbank for PT. Everyone there is so nice and knowledgeable. They are so well run from the front desk to the support staff, always punctual and efficient. Chelsea, John and anyone else there greeting you with a smile to get you set up. Tigran, Matt or any of the therapists working on you really help you recover in a safe way and answer all of your questions. Very glad it was recommended for my shoulder rehab.

Fantastic experience: In March 2024, I fractured my humerus and was referred for physical therapy. I chose Vargo Physical Therapy in Burbank, and I can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions I've made during my recovery. From day one, the staff made me feel welcomed, cared for, and supported. I want to give special thanks to Shahnur and Matt, my incredible physical therapists. Their expertise, encouragement, and personalized approach have played a huge role in helping me heal and regain strength. Equally amazing are the PT Aides: Chelsea, Angie, Wendy, and Jessica. They are the friendly and attentive team who assist with setting up my equipment, checking on my form, and keeping me motivated. Their energy, professionalism, and kindness make every session a positive experience. I still go once a week and, believe it or not, I genuinely look forward to my PT days with the Vargo crew. The environment is uplifting, the care is top-notch, and the team is second to none. Thank you all so much for your role in my recovery journey. I truly can't say enough great things about this facility and the people who make it so special.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been treated at Vargo for well over a year, and they have been a tremendous help! There are some therapists and aides that have really helped me; Shahnur and Adam (physical therapists), Jessica, Chelsea and Alec (aides). These are just a few of the amazing staff there.

Fantastic experience: All the staff at Vargo in Burbank are wonderful! I have been coming here for years for various issues off and on, and have never had a bad experience. PTs like Marc and Matt are few and far between, at the PT aides (shout outs to Chelsea, Angie, and Wendy in particular) are always helpful and knowledgeable. All the staff are patient and willing to work with patients according to the level of individual care needed. Would always recommend this location for anyone seeking kind and compassionate treatment

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Vargo in Burbank on and off for over 6 years and couldn't recommend them higher! I have even been forced to go to lesser places and it only made their excellence stand out further! Everyone is amazing, especially Marc, who is the best P.T. man with magic hands, I swear! He's always professional and has a smile. Patti at the front desk (and I think Jackie?) are always on top of it and handle everything with care and speed. They juggle so much and I don't know how they do it! The aids are all great as well. I now Alec and Chelsea have helped my husband and I for years, but everyone is awesome!! We even drive 27 miles in order to go there, but it's worth the LA traffic!

Negative experience: They told me it was impossible to book an appointment within two weeks at there because they were fully booked and instructed me to call back the following week. So I called back next Monday. The front desk said I already had appointments. While I was telling her why I called them back for my appointment, I heard her say 'Oh my God' in a really exasperated tone. I told her that saying something like that was inappropriate and unprofessional. I just tried to make an appointment. She seemed taken aback and said it wasn't directed at me, but I said, 'We're on the phone, so who else?' and she just stopped talking. I canceled the appointment that was made without my permission right there. I can’t trust a clinic that handles scheduling so poorly and treats patients with such disrespect. *Update I've heard everything you've said, but as I told you, the facts are the facts. I could only get one appointment since being fully booked. I tried to get an another on the phone as you told us. My child and I were the ones who discussed the appointment with the front desk at there. Only those who were present know exactly what happened, so it's disappointing to be criticized by those who weren't there. I also believe it's not appropriate to judge reviews that have been posted, especially those from a couple of years ago. This is a space for sharing personal experiences, not for criticism.

Positive experience: Had an appointment scheduled for 1:00p.m after waiting weeks for this one, i was on time for this appointment. I was told by a therapist I assume have a seat and someone would call me shortly. Prior to this appointment I was called the day before to confirm, which i did. After 30minutes just sitting there i approached the the front desk, but they were to busy talking on the phone so they never acknowledged me. So I tapped on the counter for a little bit to get attention and when the receptionist finally got off the phone I explained I was never called for my appointment. I was so I told them i would have to reschedule .Now I have an appointment 3 weeks from today after I waited 2 weeks so it will be a total of 5 weeks before I even get seen. Oh if someone cancels sooner will call you.Were so sorry the lady replied. Seriously, I felt discriminated because the one rep saw that I was at the counter and even didn't say anything to me. Suggestion, people on the phone can be put on hold but, people standing directly in front of you should be acknowledged first especially if they already have an appointment.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Vargo for 9 months (I had a gnarly recovery from surgery on my hand) and I cannot thank them enough for their extensive help. Everyone there is kind, caring, knowledgeable and extremely patient. I felt like I wasn't healing as quickly as I should have been (no fault to them - I'm a very impatient person!) but they not only helped me to physically stay on track, but mentally as well. They thoroughly explain each exercise, what it's targeting/helping and how it depending on the person, it can take more time to work than others. I also appreciate that they load all of your exercises (with videos!) onto their app to use when doing your exercises at home. Something to keep in mind is that you won't always have the same physical therapist working on you at each appointment. At first I thought that was strange, but I actually really appreciate it since each one brings a different style of therapy and expertise which helps the recovery process. They also know your file/history/progress so regardless of who is working on you, you're getting the best care. Also, a special shoutout to Patty for always being on top of checking patients in, scheduling, answering questions, etc. - she's a rockstar! If it wasn't everyone at Vargo, I wouldn't be able to write this review and I can't thank them enough for all of their help! Oh, and they play awesome music there too. :)

Positive experience: It's been 6 sessions, new patient here. The ladies at front desk are top notch! They answer calls (as a human voice)!! So much easier than automated machines. And they hardly keep you on hold, if at all. They really aim to accommodate patients. They have a very friendly and qualified staff. *First 10 min is a hot pack on the area needed to be worked on. *Next 20 mins you are left to do your exercises (the ones from home) they may add another. ***Then you get 10 minutes of "one on one" physical therapy, hands on w/ a therapist, targeting the area with compressions and soothing techniques, but only for 10 minutes. :( I'm new to this, I expected my appointment time w/ physical therapy would predominantly be one on one time w/ more hands on approach, but most of the time I'm doing what I do at home.

Negative experience: My doctor gave me a 6 week physical therapy order. This place defied the doctor and told me the order was complete after less than two weeks. It really complicated things, and nothing was done to look into the issue or rectify the error. It cost me time, money, and interferes with my healing process. I wish they would their patient’s health issues a little more seriously.

I had a partial knee replacement and require therapy to regain mobility in my leg. During my session I was impressed by the staff members who assisted me. I received detailed explanations as why I am experiencing pain, my questions were answered, the treatment and exercises I was shown actually alleviated the pain I am experiencing. I was also provided exercises I can perform at home. I was impressed by the professionalism and knowledge shown by the staff and am actually looking forward to completing physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place to get better and heal from injury. Marc Comrie, the head therapist is the absolute best. He is great at what he does and loves what he does. He’s helped me get a lot better in a fairly short amount of time. He has the knowledge and the patience to fix what u have going on with your injury. All the employees around him seem to be very efficient and very all hands on deck. They never miss a beat to assist you from when u first get there till you leave. Maria, Joseph, Justin, John...They’re all great and make me feel comfortable to be there. They are helpful and welcoming plus they make me feel confident in healing. Joyce also is another therapist that has worked with me and she was also amazing. Very good on the Astim just like Marc. She also pays attention to detail. I highly recommend this place and working with these rock stars.

The PT assistants are smiling, upbeat, & helpful. The physical location is light with big windows & open spaces. The patients encourage each other. If you have to have PT, this is the place to go.

Well hands down, I've been treated throughout many facilities throughout the sfv and by far Vargo Physical Therapy has been the best! Modern Technology /Equipment, Friendly Knowledgeable Staff, Early Morning hrs. I don't enjoy physical therapy, but if I have to then it has to be "VARGO PHYSICAL THERAPY! "
