If you are an avid gym goer, I HIGH recommend coming here for all things recovery or even to improve mobility and movement patterns without any compensations. Staff is friendly and flexible with hours. The chiropractors here are all stars!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ryan has fixed me! I workout 4-5 times a week and my body alignment is always trying to hold me back. I finally met Dr. Ryan through a friend's recommendation and now I go as often as I can! The staff is friendly and the facility is super clean!! Fantastic experience: This review is long overdue. If I could give Dr.Pendon and his team a 10 star review I would! I’ve suffered from terrible back pain for years. Went to see multiple chiropractors but they didn’t ease any of the pain nor offer solutions. Decided to look for a physical therapy office instead and found Dr.Pendon. So glad I did! I reached out to schedule an appointment and the staff was super friendly. Even better was that they could see me the following week. I didn’t have to wait weeks like at so many other places. Literally after my first session I felt immediate relief from the back pain I was experiencing for years!! By the 3rd session I had ZERO back pain — pain I thought I’d suffer with forever. And not only does Dr. Pendon do the proper adjustments to ease my pain, he teaches me about my body mechanics, why certain issues occur and how to prevent them in the future. Now, for the rest of his team. They deserve equal recognition because they’re freakin awesome! After a number of adjustments with Dr. Pendon, he referred me internally to Hannah who specializes in deep tissue massage. She’s super talented, the sweetest, and has done amazing work on me! I look forward to our sessions every time. After the ok from Dr. Pendon, I also recently started seeing Christine, who is an in-house trainer. Another gem at Urban Med! She’s been teaching me how to properly move through certain exercises and work through any imbalances/strengthening work. Last but not least, today I experienced my first shock wave therapy session with Leigh. Within a few minutes I could feel it working and what a relief it was! She walked me through the process and what to expect since it was my first time. Seriously, Urban Med is a gem! Dr. Pendon and his team are phenomenal. Not only has my physical health improved, but so has my mental health now that I’m not suffering from constant physical pain. 10/10 recommended!

Fantastic experience: I've been working with Dr. Matt for over a year now, and he really knows his stuff. I haven't had an injury since I began working with him about a year ago. Not a single injury. Fantastic experience: I've been going to Urban Med regularly since 2016 and have used a myriad of their services - chiropractic, personal training, massage, pilates, among others! I only wish I found them sooner. Dr. Pendon is fantastic at easing his patients into the help that they need, and the best part is that he doesn't pressure his patients into getting treatments until they are ready for them. He will advise on getting the treatments done, of course, but he is easy-going and really listens to the patient. I feel very lucky to have them to work with - it's changed the way I am conscious of my posture and mobility habits on a day-to-day basis. Best of all, they gave me helpful tips on how to manage everything I need to do to stay healthy and strong while traveling and in-between visits. They truly care about my well-being and I am grateful. I highly recommend Urban Med! Give them a go!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to UrbanMed for years after a hospitalization that left me barely able to walk and terminal diagnosis that requires I stay in the best shape as possible. UrbanMed is the only holistic practice of it's kind that I could find in LA that keeps chiropractic, physical therapy, massage, acupuncture, personal training, and pilates, plus a doctor on staff all under one roof! I was wasting a ton of time and money running around to all these places individually. They also handle insurance billing in house and are very easy to coordinate booking appointments!

Fantastic experience: Great staff, clean modern setting, and within walking distance from my apartment. The Dr.s there saved me from spending money on pain killers. They worked out a plan for my recovery and hoped I never had to be treated from them again.

Fantastic experience: Life changing results! I initially went to Urban Med for help with chronic back and neck pain-an occupational hazard that often comes with working at a desk all day long. After being evaluated by one of the chiropractors, I scheduled a session with Christian, a strength trainer there. After just a couple of sessions, my pain disappeared and my posture greatly improved. My energy also increased. Christian is always careful to ensure that my form is exact when I'm performing the exercises he has customized for me to maximize my results. He even encourages me to keep going when I feel like giving up! One thing that sets Christian apart from other trainers I have seen throughout my life is that he truly cares about his clients and will go the extra mile to help. I have also received therapeutic massages and chiropractic adjustments at Urban Med which have been excellent. I believe that good health is the most important thing in life and Urban Med has helped me achieve that.
