Athletico Physical Therapy - Louisville (St. Matthews)

Fantastic experience: I have been to physical therapy at multiple places, but this is by far the best! Gabby and Mischa are both simply incredible!! They listen to understand, and help me put into words what I am feeling when I can’t find anything to compare it to. They make me put in the work, but they explain each exercise and motion so that I know what it will do to help me get to my goal. I have never felt more comfortable with PT. And, I have to give a shout out to Alex at the desk, too. She is right on it when it comes to working through, and dealing with insurance. Many thanks to all three of these ladies!!!

Fantastic experience: Gabby my therapist at the Saint Matthews locaution listens to what I have to say and involves me in my treatment plan. The staff works around my schedule and gives me appointment terms that work with taking care of grandchildren.

Fantastic experience: Athletico’s Gabby is a wonderful PT whose work is thorough and considerate. She is incredibly knowledgeable as well. After working with four PTs at various practices, I genuinely believe Gabby and Athletico offered the best care with the most effectiveness. I now exclusively recommend Gabby when others are looking for a PT! Additionally, while some PT places feel sterile and impersonal, Gabby and her staff are beyond warm and welcoming. The building is also clean, well-equipped, and is in a convenient location with plenty of parking. If you need PT, you can’t go wrong with the St. Matthews Athletico!

Fantastic experience: I seen Gabby for my rehabilitation therapy. I had a complete Quadacept Tendon Tear. She set up all my exercise bases on what I did for work, then some. She was always there, to insure I was doing them correctly and not slacking. I think she has Drill Sergeant DNA. Bottom line, she's great, the staff and the facility was clean, set up nice and very convenient. thanks Gabby Paratrooper Larry

Fantastic experience: I want to share my experience with all. I have used a number of PT facilities over the years. I am 79 and I have a number of issues that needed addressed. The last PT facility was at a hospital. After two sessions, I decided they weren't for me, didn't seem to really care. I can't say enough about the staff here. Always happy to see you, very friendly and even more helpful. If you are looking for a great PT facility look no further. I can't say enough about the staff. They know what I need, could go one, but my advise is to go to them for your PT needs

Fantastic experience: I have had countless injuries in my life and seen various physical therapists and I hands down say that Cammy is by far the most knowledgeable PT I have ever seen. She helped me through having CRPS, previous surgical tendon repair on the same ankle that I got a chronic sprain in this go around on top of having fibromyalgia makes for a hard recovery. She listened to my needs and helped me through vigorous extensive therapy for months to get better and so thankful to have found her. Gabby is also very knowledgeable and highly recommend her as well. She originally worked with me in the beginning through my evaluation and explained everything thoroughly to me when I didn’t know a whole lot about CRPS and how it affects your brain and your body. Lastly their assistant Katie is absolutely wonderful and so sweet and always knew how to keep me distracted in conversation while doing painful exercises to avoid not thinking about how much pain I was in. Overall this place is always clean and will definitely be going back for any future needs I may have.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the most attentive physical therapist. Asked questions and let’s me ask as many as I need to, Gives great handouts with examples to do at home. Gabby is very easy to understand and explains each movement thoroughly. She is also challenging in a good way so you push yourself. I feel she cares and is very compassionate to everyone. Gabby actively gives everyone the attention they deserve. The PT aide, Daniel is also very helpful and kind. I am greeted with a smile from Trish and Daniel each time I come in. It’s a pleasant change to my day coming from work.

Fantastic experience: I was a little skeptical about going to this place but after my first session with Gabby I became a believer. She was able to quickly assess what my issue was, physically anyway, and started me on the path to recovery. Although I am not 100% as of yet due to relocation, Gabby gave me plenty of exercises and stretches to do at home that will keep me going in the proper direction. Everyone from the front desk, including Kate, Tricia and others, to the assistants, including Daniel, are professional and friendly. I thank them all for the help and support they have given me.

Fantastic experience: I came to AthletiCo with knee pain that other therapist could not help me relieve.. Gabby the therapist at Dutchman's has been great at listening to my pain and my needs. She is truly there to work with you until together you find what is going to work best ,and get you back to life. You don't feel like just another patient when you come here. You feel and know that they really care. Don't go anywhere but here if you want someone that cares it's not just there job!!!!

Fantastic experience: My physical therapist Gabby and the technician/ office manager/receptionist Kate have been amazing. Over many years I've been to several facilities for varying therapies. None have provided such a welcoming environment and professional, analytical, empathetic care. I now have a shoulder that is more functional and stronger than it's been since my reverse replacement in January 2022. They really are the gold standard.

Fantastic experience: It is an easy facility to find with a great staff that asked every time i came in how was feeling so they didn't push me into more pain. They have helped a lot with my pain and problem. Answered any questions i had and they worked with my schedule to make it convenient for me. Highly recommend them because they give u a free assessment and let u know if ur insurance covers it .

They have the best mix of professional and personal attentiveness. I truly felt my issues from a work injury were heard and became our collective focus during my appts. The level of skill and friendliness they collectively provide as soon as you walk through the door is as welcoming as it gets and is "infectiously" motivating. Thank you both for providing hope of progress and recovery that has blossomed physically into just that!

She answers any questions you have and is patient and reassuring with exercises and movements. Kate, the patient experience coordinator, is friendly and welcoming.
