Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dr. Tim since 2018 and I can't even begin to give enough compliments. He really listens and ensures the treatment he's doing is effective. I moved out of State 2 years ago and can't even find someone comparable. I came into town for a quick business trip and I was able to book an appointment for help with my knee pain. I joked I might need to start booking quick trips to fly in get treatment and go back home. While I joked about it I also was semi serious. Nobody better or that I trust with my injuries than Dr. Tim to get me back doing my regular activities.

Despite consultations with an orthopedic doctor, my PCP, and another physical therapist, I hadn't found relief. Dr. Mike dedicated an entire hour to a thorough assessment and identified a high-grade 2 deep hip flexor strain. He applied dry needling, which brought immediate relief, and recommended daily stretches. This treatment clarified the reasons behind my prolonged discomfort and accelerated my recovery after not being able to run for 6 months. Fantastic experience: I do CrossFit and was experiencing lower back pain/tightness off and on for about a year from heavy lifts. My tightness was preventing me from moving with proper form through squats, deadlifts, and cleans. There were even points where I could not bend over to put on socks. Dr. Tim is great and dry needling really helped fix my issue! I am now pain free with more range of motion, allowing me to finally have great form. His mobility and strength tips are very helpful as well.

I left our first meeting with not only confidence of getting to the start line, but with a plan to treat my issues and ultimately get across the finish line. With his help I got across several ultra finish lines. His positive mental attitude is infectious and he walks the walk, taking part in many serious athletic competitions himself. While some doctors may simply defer to "stop running" or "stop working out" he understands that this will simply not work for people like me (and people like himself). Fantastic experience: First went to see Dr. Mike a little over a year ago, I had a lingering glute/hamstring issue after my last race that wouldn’t go away even after stretching, rolling and rest for a month or two. I was very skeptical about dry needling, blading and cupping, but I dreaded the idea of going to my doctor and then getting referred to a PT and then going through months of PT work (not to mention all the insurance and co-pays). So I was able to schedule an initial evaluation the next week, Dr. Mike explained everything thoroughly and started treatment on the first visit. I walked out already feeling better, and after 2-3 more visits within the next couple weeks I was back to running and lifting at 100% with no pain or issues. Over the past year Ive come back anytime I have a muscle pull or tweak or something’s not right and after one visit, I’m usually back to running and working out the next day. Also, the schedule is run pretty tightly, I’ve never had to wait past my appointment time or run over, just in and out and problem solved.

Fantastic experience: I started going to POP about a little bit over a year ago for lower back problems. I explained my problems and also explained to Dr. Mike that I was looking to become a personal trainer and wanted to learn more. Dr. Mike immediately went through tests and discovered imbalances with more than just my lower back but he was also willing to teach and help me understand more about what was going on. The level of service has been nothing short of phenomenal. I drive about 45 minutes for my appointments and even though all of my imbalances have been improved, I told myself that if there’s one thing I will continue to do for a long time, it’s continue my appointments at POP. Fantastic experience: We are always very pleased with the treatment we receive at Physio Orthopedics and Performance. My daughter runs cross country and sees Dr. Tim anytime she is dealing with one of the many nagging running issues that cross country runners deal with. Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr. Mike at the beginning of July last year. It's a decision that I am very thankful I made. Before going to see Dr Mike I had one injury after another for about four years. At my first consultation with Dr. Mike he told me what the problem was. He did dry needling and sent me home with some simple exercises to do at home. Within a short time the problems I was having disappeared and I feel like a strong runner again. Running is my primary hobby and I've been working with Dr. Mike to stay healthy and keep my body functioning properly. Anyone's fitness will encounter speed bumps, and it will pay dividends to have quality PT care repair and maintain your health. My favorite part about POP is that the doctors will give you 100% of their attention for the entirety of your appointment. Through various at home workouts and in office treatment I was back to feeling better than before. The number one thing I liked about their approach is they want you to get better. They want to fix your problem and get you back to being healthy. I do still go back about once a month to help with recovery and injury prevention. I trust both of their opinion's/knowledge whole heartedly. I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone!

Fantastic experience: Whether you are currently an athlete or an ex-athlete still trying to stay in shape / competitive, POP is a must try! I have had a shoulder/chest injury nagging me for 10 plus years since High School sports. Never did anything about it. Chalked it up to that eventually I'll need shoulder surgery. Man I was wrong. Went to POP, after 4 visits (about 2 weeks in between each visit) pain is completely gone. I've pushed it to the limits trying to remake that pain (simply couldn't believe how efficiently they diagnosed and treated) and 100% don't have the pain anymore. They are extremely knowledgeable, take a holistic view, and have a great combination of techniques to help diagnose and treat. If you have an injury or simply want to do preventative maintenance, work on a tender area, work on your flexibly, etc. etc. POP is a must for an athlete.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough positive things about Physio Orthopedics and Performance (POP). As a non-competitive, but regular (3-4 runs/week) runner, I found myself injured and not getting better with rest and stretching. I thought maybe this was the end of my running career. My husband recommended that I try POP before I threw the towel in. I met with Dr. Mike and he said right away through a series of tests (ruling out more than a soft tissue injury) that between homework, a deliberate and thoughtful return to running, and their services; that this was not the end of my career, but more a small blip on the radar of running. This was July 2020 and I can now say that in December of 2020, I am back to where I was in my running mileage, but my body is even healthier. I have chosen to continue my visits to POP (every 6 - 8 weeks) to keep my body tuned up for running. There has been no pressure to do so, just the change in how I viewed taking care of myself - sticking to the homework and paying attention to the small tweaks and pains that might turn into something more and trying to combat those at the front end, vs just hoping things will turn out alright and ending up frustrated and injured. Beyond the fact that they are great PT doctors, Dr. Mike & Dr. Tim are just wonderful people, you feel welcome as an elite or as a regular runner, just the same. I believe that this is the type of care that will keep me running for years to come.

Fantastic experience: These brothers are absolute professionals in every respect, both are of a pleasant disposition, and take pride on their work. The office and treatment rooms are well kept and clean, they always deliver punctual consistency maintaining scheduled appointments. I initially became a patient of Dr. Mike following a hamstring injury that was severely impacting my physical performance, impeding my career-oriented training goals. Within months of treatment, I was pretty much fully rehabbed. This recovery was almost entirely thanks to a combination of the physical therapy techniques (dry needling, graston, and ART) along with an abundance of provided guidance for various stretches and self-care, all provided by Dr. Mike. I continue to regularly make appointments as a means to get treatment on all the tweaks that arise from a fairly aggressive training regimen, this has made a substantial difference in how I'm feeling on a daily basis. I alway walk out of the office feeling better then when I came in.

Fantastic experience: I currently powerlift and formerly CrossFit, and have been seeing Dr. Tim for 2 years now as needed to treat minor injuries and maintain overall pain-free function for lifting. I was initially referred to him from another athlete, and was a bit skeptical of how effective dry needling could be. Since then however, I would choose seeing Dr. Tim for treatment first for any pains. It is amazingly helpful! Not only does he treat the pain, he offers up explanations for why it's happening and PT for correcting it. I have a lot of respect for Dr. Tim, as he is so incredibly knowledgable and is always looking to learn more himself and add to his own toolbox to help the people he sees. I have had one injury that was beyond the scope of his practice, to which he referred me away from his care (and business) and to someone he trusted that was more apt to the problem. The attention to detail that both Dr. Mike and Dr. Tim give to each patient cannot be found anywhere else. Can't say enough good things about this clinic!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr. Tim for a few years now for running related issues and neck pain. The trigger point dry needling, graston scraping and ART I’ve received as part of treatment have kept me healthy and injury free. And these are just a few of the therapy options they provide their patients! I love that Dr. Tim and Dr. Mike have a maintenance philosophy behind their practice. Once you’re a patient you always schedule your next treatment at your current session - whether it’s one week spacing or many months down the road. Additionally, their office is clean and appointments always run on time. Dr. Tim and Dr. Mike are friendly, professional and genuinely care about their patients. Fantastic experience: For many years I was unable to squat or deadlift due to mobility issues and back pain. I was referred to Dr. Tim by my gym, and his treatments have been a game changer. I am doing lifts I never thought I would be able to do, and staying healthy. Its obvious that the treatments are effective because I am able to feel results immediately. Dr. Tim is extremely personable, knowledgeable, and professional. He is conscious about cost and makes it clear that if their treatments are effective, appoints will be able to be spread out drastically or even stopped all together. I was even told that if I didn’t feel a difference after a few appointments, stop paying and try something else.

Fantastic experience: Although most of Tim's clients are runners, Tim has helped me, a 70 year old competitive swimmer, quite a few times. He's a real pro. Tim know his stuff and is very easy to work with. I had a reverse replacement on my right shoulder, and incurred a stress fracture about 3 months later. When I got back in the pool everything hurt. A friend suggested I see Tim. Tim was able to ease the pain with dry needle treatment, and gave me some exercises to do to improve strength and range of motion. I've still got occasional aches and pains, and see Tim as needed. I heartily recommend POP if you need help to "Chase PRs". ....

Fantastic experience: As a Personal Trainer, having a healthy and functional body is one of my top priorities. I had an Achilles’ tendon injury from basketball that caused me pain on a daily basis for close to 2 years. I’ve been seeking treatment there for over a year and it has honestly been one of the best decisions I ever made. Dr. Tim and Dr. Mike are experts in their field and always have a game plan ready to go. I’ve been treated for various injuries related to my workout regimen, but also for routine tune-ups. Fantastic experience: I've been going to Dr. Tim pretty much since he's opened his business and now I see both Dr. Tim and Dr. Mike. They run a clean practice and they're very organized.. wait times are pretty much non-existent so I can plan my day with confidence knowing I'll be in and out in 30 minutes. I spoke with Dr. Mike and he had me in his office within an hour. Unbelievable! He took his time discussing the options, managing my expectations and then working on my hip with dry needling and other techniques. 36 hours later I started the race. And, about 29 hours after that, I finished it. It’s hard to say how much Dr. Mike’s work contributed. However, what’s not hard to evaluate was the care, concern and understanding he brought to my situation and his willingness to do anything he could to help me reach my goal. Simply put, the care was exceptional and the understanding was something that is not often found in the medical community. Incredibly positive experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr Pavlak is extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. He listens, and is successful with isolating and addressing issues. His practice is welcoming. When your body is in pain, finding the right help can be intimidating- especially if considering dry needling - but Dr Pavlak does an excellent job making sure his patients are informed and comfortable. Fantastic experience: I have nothing but positive things to say about my care under Dr. Pavlak. I have seen many medical professionals over the past 20 years as an athlete and college coach. Dr Pavlak impressed me with not only his knowledge, but his ability to communicate how his hands on approach would aid in my recovery. I have had a history of chronic calf problems over the last 20 years and have tried multiple types of rehab therapy. Dr Pavlak was able to accomplish in 2 treatment sessions what I thought to be impossible. Within days of my first dry needling session I was back to running with minimal pain and after the second session I was pain free.
