Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers (Physical Therapy of Harlem)

Fantastic experience: BRAVO PHYSICAL THERAPY OF HARLEM!! For years I've been going to what I felt to be a good physical therapy facility in my neighborhood on the UWS, but to my surprise I have stumbled on a GREAT facility in Harlem. In a short period of time (one week) I'm seeing amazing results. I've been a professional dancer and performer all my life so I'm used to MANY modalities following a series of 6 surgeries, including spinal fusion, left AND right foot total resectioning surgeries. This is the first place that I've gone that seems sure-footed in all. The results speak for themselves. I HAVE NOT FELT THIS GOOD IN YEARS!! Thank you Dr. Jeffrey Chow (Owner) and my personal trainer, Lee Jackson (whom I'm convinced was sent by God), FOR BEING EXCEPTIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't remember the name of the other young man who is equally committed to seeing me get back on my feet and on the stage. THANKS AGAIN!!!! HJ.

Fantastic experience: Physical therapy of harlem has been one of the best decisions I made regarding my treatment I highly recommend this place to anyone need of a physical therapist.I been a patient for 1 year in a half I started going there before my surgery and after my surgery it was very hard but i got through it i couldnt have been as strong without my physical therapist Lena by my side. Shes so supportive & professional.The customer service is amazing in here .

Fantastic experience: I went there for pain I could no longer tolerate, thinking I'm wasting my time. Dr Lena and her team instantly began my rehab, and within a week I could see the results! Now I can't say enough nice things about them. Besides their expertise, they are always patient, attentive, jovial, and supportive. I would highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Fyzical Therapy is an incredible clinic that treats all their patients with love and care. Unfortunately I had to leave them because of my current work hours but I would highly recommend ANYONE to get their care.

Fantastic experience: At the beginning of the summer I was in dire pain. I have RA and it is currently heavily effecting my right knee. A friend suggested I go to physical therapy with Dr. Lena Washington. The best thing I ever did for my overall health and the way I feel about myself just to be able to move around with more ease. Dr. Washington is awesome as is her staff. The best part is that they are in the neighborhood!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Washington was an amazing help. She listened to me and treated every one of my injuries throughly. Not only did I have exercises to do in facility she also checked to make sure I was able to accommodate the workouts at home. Most doctors just tell you what to do she takes her time to explain and go through each workout throughly! Also adjust based on strength. I actually enjoy my treatments and recovered very quickly! Full strength !

Fantastic experience: I went to PT of Harlem for a year when I was living in the area. I went in for my lower back and then my ankle. I worked with Jeff, Lee, and Brandon for most of my sessions. Jeff has a really wide knowledge of biomechanics, PT, and anatomy - he can accurately guess what you did without you telling him and how it will impact you. I was very impressed by the depth of his knowledge. As I transitioned to another PT office after I left the area, my new PT was very satisfied with the work Jeff and his team did. I am glad I found PT of Harlem when living in the area. I believe it is the best in the area and I highly recommend his team! Thanks Jeff!

Fantastic experience: I have been to Harlem Physical Therapy a few times . Dr. Lena knows how important being physically active is to me and when my meniscus flared up I knew where to go. She provided a thorough assessment and treatment plan that was effective and got me back on track. The staff is so caring and really project that they love what they do. While it was work I really enjoyed the sessions especially when I made progress. The heat treatments are soo soothing too. They also helped me get marathon ready in 2018 with the anti gravity machine and tips on my gait. This place is fantastic, if you need physical therapy and want to get back in the game this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at PT of Harlem. Dr Washington and staff were all very attentive and empathetic especially when I was in a lot of pain. She is very knowledgeable of different treatment modalities and is determined to help. She worked diligently to resolve my pain and explained what was going on in a way that was easy to understand. She always made time to answer my questions and figure out what I needed to work on to get better and followed up to make sure I was feeling better.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this place! The staff, right up to the front desk greeting is truly amazing. Dr. Washington is so knowledgeable and really focuses on the importance of getting your body back to good condition and what needs to be done to get it there and even the after care to make sure you stay healthy. I stay on there calendar even for preventative PT! 10/10 would recommend

Fantastic experience: Been using this facility since 2012 when I had Achilles tendonitis surgery. From there on to Bi lateral knee surgery. Jeff is the best. Hes caring, professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. Lee is also one of the best. My experiences here have been positive. Staff is great. Love this place. Currently back for ankle surgery. Try it here. You won't be disappointed.

Positive experience: It's ok here staff is ok can be a bit crowded depending on when you go. I stopped going because I'm impatient and a few times I had to wait for my therapist for a long time totally not my therapist fault. but loved my therapist Lee he was the best.I need therapy again on another area of my body thinking of returning but I dont know yet may keep searching.

Fantastic experience: I love this clinic, I have gone there twice for two seperate injuries and I healed back stronger than ever. Greg is my absolute favorite aide, he makes me feel reassured and confident in the recovery process. 5 stars !
