Fantastic experience: I am never truly one to write reviews, but I have to give a huge shoutout to Steve as he is hands-down the best PT I’ve ever been to. After receiving my L5-S1 disc herniation diagnosis, Steve provided me with a plan including stretches to correct my slipped disc and minimize my pain. I worked with him over the course of six months and genuinely enjoyed each visit as the entire practice is welcoming and fun to interact with. Steve made me feel comfortable and hopeful throughout my entire physical therapy process; I can’t recommend him enough to any who suffer with an injury! Thank you, Steve!

Fantastic experience: I have now successfully rehabilitated two injuries (one acute requiring surgery, and the other chronic) with the expert help of PT Steve G. and the Green St NovaCare and would absolutely recommend this center to anyone. A huge part of the struggle of injury and recovery is the mental and emotional toll the uncertainty takes. From the very beginning, Steve always provided solid care as well as support -- I could voice my personal hurdles, concerns, and apprehensions and feel truly that they were heard, worked into the overall plan moving forward, and communicated in a way that always made sense to me. The lessons learned in therapy about musculoskeletal care/wellness will provide value to me for years to come. Although I could have done without these injuries, I am grateful I had the opportunity to heal, laugh, enjoy trivia, excellent music and conversation and an overall warm environment with Steve and the rest of the Green St Crew!

Fantastic experience: I stopped into this center on a walk home from the gym after my knees had been bothering me. I was starting to avoid exercises like squats and lunges, fearing my knees would never fully recover enough to do high impact work. But Dr. Steve was incredible. He was flexible in working with me until I got a referral from my doctor and was able to tell me exactly what the issue was. We worked together for a few months, rehabbing my knees. Despite the hard work, he and his team made my visits enjoyable with fun trivia questions, great music, and an inviting environment. I enjoyed working with them so much that even after "graduating", I'm sure I'll pop my head in to say hello often. I would recommend this center to anyone I know -- 10 out of 10 service, great people, and awesome results!

Fantastic experience: William (Bill) Connell has been my primary therapist since starting at Nova Care in mid December. Bill is professional, knowledgeable, an educator and listens to his patients. So important is the collaboration between Bill and his patient, working jointly to achieve great outcomes!

Fantastic experience: Nova Care located at 203 Green Street in Philadelphia is a great place to go if your doctor says you need physical therapy. I have arthritis and I went to Penn med and I had my x-rays my name, my knee drained and they told me to go to NovaCare and close to me is the one on Green Street the day I walked in the door I was read it smiles on their faces dr. William Connell is my physical therapist and he took his time. My first day explained me what was gonna happen. I was in so much pain from arthritis that he actually massage the muscles that were hurting me and he took it easy on me and he say I’ll push you but they tied they keep you at the level they know that you are kinky you could be at so if you need physical therapy and you live close to Northern liberty Fishtown area anywhere’s around there NovaCare located in northern liberty on 203 Queen St. is the best place to go the receptionist, Dr. Stevens, the other doctor they make you feel at home they take your time with you and explain everything that goes on and they will not take push you but they won’t push it to where you can’t handle it so I thanked him for being there for me. I’ve had lost in the families last weeks so I gotta get back to her next week. I gotta go back and do so I program, but I do do my program at home every day while I’m not there. Thanks Dr. Bill, Dr. Steve.

Fantastic experience: Justin Jiunta has made a difference in my return, after a partial knee replacement, to activities, running, biking and senior tournament tennis. He knew just what to do in the crucial early post-surgical phase and pushed me along with ever increasing work-loads and exercises. He knows what he is doing, cares about his patients and adds humor to rehab sessions that break the tension and anxiety of post-surgical existence.
