Fantastic experience: This place changed my life. They work you hard and you see the results. Rehab is not just physical work. Mental and emotional work is also involved and they help with that as well. This is place to come if your hospital recommends rehabilitation—you will leave satisfied and renewed!

Fantastic experience: I took a tour of the facility and I was very impressed! The hospital is well organized and the staff is polite. Their attention to detail is apparent. It's very clean, too! Staff goes above and beyond continuously and it shows. The patient care is individualized and I like that a lot!

Fantastic experience: My mother had a devastating stroke in February, 2023 losing most function of the left side of her body. Miraculously, we got into this rehab, and literally had the best 4 weeks we could have imagined! She regained so many skills that seemed small at the time but have been huge coming home and doing other rehabs. No other therapist, physician, nurse compares to the many we worked with here! Could not recommend this place more highly and we are grateful beyond words for the care we received!!

Fantastic experience: I was a patient at Banner Rehabilitation Hospital for 8 days. Every one was so caring for me including Dr Statt, Nurses, Nurse.assistants (including Larry), Physical therapist, Occupational Therapy,and Speach Therapy. Fantastic experience: The staff were caring and respectful. They worked really hard to rehabilitate me within 2 weeks. The facility was the best I have ever been to in the past 3 years. It was clean, had diligent staff, and was very welcoming to me and my family. I would highly recommend this facility for anyone needing stroke or other physical rehabilitation from any other medical condition that warrants this treatment. I was thoroughly impressed with this facility and it’s staff.

Fantastic experience: My husband was recently in Banner Rehab on Willetta from August 5 to August 15. We were very impressed with many things about this facility. The room was sunny and inviting. The facility was spacious and well designed. The meals were an improvement after having been in St. Joseph's for 18 days. A dietician came to his room every day asking for the next day meal orders. The best part of Banner Rehab on Willetta were the staff. From the gentleman to took our family on a tour of the facility - Tom (who turned out to be the CEO), to the nurses, nurse practitioners, LVNs and helpers - all were outstanding. Specifically: Stephanie RN, Tim PA, Kelly, Larry and many more. I regret no writing down more names because everyone was terrific. The physical therapist David and occupational therapist Anna were both outstanding, personable, and kind. The speech Therapists were excellent and sent my husband home with 8 pages of sentences with which to practice enunciation. We are very grateful for the care and therapy my husband received from Banner Acute Rehab on Willetta in Phoenix.

Fantastic experience: I was admitted from St Josephs' hospital directly to Banner Rehab Facility on July 14th 2023 and discharged July 22, 2023. I could not have been more pleased with the outstanding care I received from a kind, sensitive and professionally- trained staff-including Drs, RNs, CNAs , OT, PT, etc .. I highly recommend anyone looking for a clean, safe, efficiently -run acute inpatient facility to choose Banner Rehabilitation Facility (Select Medical partnership)on 775 E Willetta ;Phx, AZ 85006 I progressed well under their care. They take the utmost precautions for safety. The facility is immaculate. The food is good; however, it is the staff that makes a big difference in the healing process. The majority of staff are personally cheerful, really care about the patient and greeted me with wonderful smiles the majority of the time (regardless of what is happening with other patients under their care). I didn't feel like I was a burden to them. Hats off to Dr Statt (my attending physician) and their CEO! Fantastic experience: Strokes are scary for everyone and patients and families have so many questions about what the future holds. The month my mom spent at Banner Rehabilitation Hospital was incredible. The therapists, staff, physicians, leadership--every single person we came in contact with was knowledgeable, motivating, encouraging and kind. She regained so many skills we had thought were gone forever. We cannot thank them all enough for restoring our mom back to us.

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing! I had a serious case of bacterial meningitis so had some cognitive and physical/balance issues. They had me back ‘one my feet’ in 2 weeks. Also, all the drs, therapists, rehab assistants, and nurses were so caring and kind. I’m excited to be going home today but have to admit I will miss the wonderful people I’ve met here Special thanks to Mary, Emily, Samantha, Catalina, Mike (nights) and so many others that I can’t recall their names. Fantastic experience: My dad received services from Banner Rehab. I was initially concerned about having my dad stay in a place like this. I was pleasantly surprised! The whole team at Banner is amazing! What stood out to me and I valued the most is their caring and empathetic behavior. Dr. Statt, Anna (OT), Sam (Lan/speech), Emily (PT), and other therapist that substituted or provided additional therapies for my dad are greatly appreciated! Even those "behind the scenes" staff: the cook and cafeteria staff, cleaning staff - you are awesome (they're so sweet), my dad thanks you all very much, too.. My dad was happy to leave Banner after a couple of weeks, but admitted he missed his therapists. He felt he was treated well. This place greatly impacted his recovery. The only thing I would change is having the same nurses as often as possible (I'm sure this might be difficult to do). Thank you Banner Health. My dad and I will forever be grateful!

Fantastic experience: I had a stroke in September and was transferred here for acute rehabilitation. From the moment I was wheeled in to the day I went home, I was treated with love and care from everyone in the facility. The extensive OT, PT AND SPT is exactly what I needed to be able to get on with living a better life after a stroke. This was my 2nd stroke and due to the care and therapy I received, I was able to do more physically than after my first one. My Ot Brittany, my Pt Emily and Spt Kendall were awesome! Very supportive, loving and caring every step of the way. Dr Statt was fantastic! He listened to me, supported me and made sure my needs and correct medications were given to me. My nurses Janie, Kayla, Richard, Lamont, Russ, Maria, and Rojina were excellent! They were there with my pain and nausea meds before I even needed to ring for them. They were always friendly and cared how I was feeling. The nursing assistants Maria, Patricia, Michael, Melanie, Shay and Stephanie met my shower, bathroom and other needs and always with a smile on their faces. The cleaning staff was always polite and friendly and did a fabulous job keeping my room and bathroom clean. The administrative staff also popped in a couple of times to check in and see how my stay was going. That never happens anywhere else. Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart for such a great experience during what was a difficult time in my life!

Fantastic experience: My grandma has been here for 2 weeks, this facility has really helped her in These 2 weeks, she has gotten so much stronger. The staff here really motivated her to do her very best. She is going home tomorrow and is super thrilled. Because of this hospital we know her transition home will be super smooth. Fantastic experience: My granddad had been in this hospital for quite sometime , I visited this facility a couple of weeks back but wasn’t able to visit because I did not know the visitation rules and he had already one visitor which was my step sister. But I was greeted by these wonderful young ladies in the main lobby so happy and eager to meet me. They were laughing and happy and so full of energy. The exact attitudes that every hospital needs to be greeted by. Anyways, my granddad has made such huge improvements while being in this facility. He can pick up the phone and talk to us now. He can walk to the bathroom obviously we still keep an eye out. They have completely changed his life and my families life for the better. He will forever be a changed man because of this facility. He was served well and maintained. Always in a clean room; always with a smile on his face. And his therapy team was absolutely insane. So amazing. I came in about 2 hours ago to pick up some of his belongings that was left. It was given to me by a young lady in reception she asked me how everything was going and I just yapped to her the entire time. She was a great ear to speak to. And so enthusiastic. You know I have never made a google review but When she offered the pamphlet I had to jump on the opportunity. Who ever is reading this and is in need of a rehab hospital this is the one. It is right off of 7th street and mcdowell and has amazing hotels near by if you were like me and came from out of town. And I’m 100% sure they will take care of what ever you need while you’re in this hospital it is absolutely amazing.

Fantastic experience: My Aunt was admitted to this facility after having a stroke and this place was so nice and clean! Every worker that I came in contact was so nice and professional!I loved the OT, PT and nursing staff! They were all so caring and had alot of patience with my Aunt! I would recommend this place to anyone that needs to rehab after a medical situation! I love them all!

Fantastic experience: My friend has been a patient here for a couple of weeks he has had a lot of positive growth and the facility has been great i was also here for a month prior to this i survived a triple A the staff here i can say have saved my friend and i. The atmosphere is great and everyone is so friendly.

Fantastic experience: I am beyond grateful to everyone who is part of this hospital. From the cafeteria staff to the cleaning crew to the nurses and therapists! I was cared for in this location for 11 days , and I have never in my 27 years ,(sad to say) but super happy to say that I’ve never been cared for and felt so loved by so many people! They helped me walk and stand and even put lotion on my legs. I had scoliosis surgery and I was limited to so many things, yet the nurses and physical therapists were there for me throughout the whole way! I got there unable to stand, with positivity and support they helped me so much and I left there walking on my own and being able to get off the bed on my own! I thank you all for such great life experience. I will forever be grateful and wish happiness and love on your life in and out of your professional life. I thank Eli , Shaee, Mary , Victoria ,Emily, Samantha, the girl from cafeteria with long beautiful black hair (she’s a sweetheart), the woman who cleans and is so positive and loving, shared chats with lots of people there and they all helped me stay strong as my body was in constant pain. I thank every single soul in that location, I truly believe they have the purest most loving souls to do what they do and how they do it. May their lives be filled with happiness always. I thank you with my whole heart. You have changed my life in many ways. I am now walking more and able to shower on my own. Your love has helped me heal ❤️

Fantastic experience: I had the opportunity to tour Banner Rehabilitation Hospital in Phoenix and I have never been more impressed. As a surgical technician, I've spent time in a fair share of hospitals and their extensions - Banner Rehab tops them all. Every single person was warm and welcoming, the staff was knowledgeable and able to answer my questions. I can say with full certainty that every patient here is cared for in a way that is above and beyond excellence. The facility and equipment was state of the art and I was able to observe a patient graduation ceremony. The level of care and genuine passion from the providers is undeniable. Fantastic experience: Top shelf facility. Excellent choice of employees, healing emotionally is just as important as healing physically and in this hospital they 100% make sure you heal in both ways. I am now discharging and I am so sad because I am truly going to miss everyone here. I am also glad that they were able to help me until I was strong enough to come home. Fantastic experience: They are amazing. So supportive and kind. I almost wish I didn't have to leave. I can not say enough good things about them. The staff is phenomenal. I had a Wonderful OT and PT. They really encouraged me. If you are hurt I would recommend them 10x over. I wanna thank Brittany and David for all their encouragement and push. I honestly don't think I'd be where I am without them. There's not one bad staff member. They are ALL wonderful. I came in thinking I'd have mediocre care. Boy was I wrong! They treated me like family and with such love and care. Truly an amazing place. Never have I had so many people believe in me. They are all angels and I'm thankful to have had the experience.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful and clean building! Staff was so welcoming and friendly. Had the honor of participating in a patient graduation and it was so heartwarming! You can absolutely tell how much the staff cares for and positively impacts their patients!

Fantastic experience: Banner University Rehabilitation Hospital took excellent care of me after my stroke. The therapist were incredible. Nicole PT, Jasmine OT, Brittany Group Therapy and Frances were so caring. They commended me often which made me want to do better. I can't say enough about all the staff, nurses, reab/assistants everyone treated me exceptionally well.

Fantastic experience: I feel bad for sharing this review so late. My brother stayed in this facility last May, which is about 7-8 months ago. The family wanted to leave reviews for the place but I don't think we realized how much work it would be when we finally got to take my brother home to continue his healing. While we were there though, they really did try their best to make my brother comfortable after a motorcycle accident. They allowed him to make his own choices regarding after care as much as they could, and they worked with us by being flexible so that he was most comfortable. When we left, they put on a ceremony for the patients who are able to leave, and you can tell that my brother had made really solid relationships with the staff. They were kind, patient with him, and really did do a lot to make sure we had what we need in and out of the facility. Lots of tears and lots of laughs were had, and I am glad that Nick was able to get the care he needed from this place.

Fantastic experience: Best rehab facility in the valley! The staff is caring, professional and listened to our needs. The facility is beautiful with a friendly, upbeat culture. They even have a daily graduation celebration in the lobby! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I took a tour of Banner Phoenix and I was thoroughly impressed. My tour guide was kind, personable, and knowledgeable. I had a ton of questions she was able to answer for me and this helped me to feel more informed about what rehabilitation hospitals can do. All of the staff members seemed very approachable. Everything was clean and organized, plus I like that each patient had their own room and amenities. It seems like there are plenty of options for rehab activities, too.

Fantastic experience: A if you are unfortunate enough to find yourself in need of acute rehab , I doubt you can do better than Banner Rehab in Phoenix. They truly have their Act together.. Very well run & responsive - the whole staff - from the physicians to the nurses & therapist, right down to housekeeping. I am very impressed.

Fantastic experience: There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing this place is. Every member of staff are incredibly caring and never hesitate to go above and beyond not only for their patients, but for their family members too! My mom was here for a month, and the progress she made was unimaginable only 2 months ago. And I know for a fact it would not have been possible without the guidance, care, and love from everyone in this facility. There is a real and authentic sense of community here, one that we will always feel a part of and be forever grateful for!

Fantastic experience: My husband Tom was a patient at Banner rehabilitation hospital Phoenix for approximately one month. He had become weak and immobile due to a Long Hospital stay because of his lung disease. he received excellent care from all the therapists and staff. his favorite therapists were Brad, McKenna and Samantha and his case manager Tammy was very helpful getting the things he needed to go home. Thanks for helping Tom get stronger and the positive environment to do this in.

Fantastic experience: This rehab hospital is the best!! after my husband Eric Gonzalez had his stroke, he came here unable to speak or move, he hardly woke up, it was very hard!! Thanks to the help of the therapists Emily, Andrew, Kendall , the assistants , the nurses who were so caring and Dr. Statt who is magnificent, my husband Eric after 40 days of being hospitalized here , showed great progress and was able to move, speak , and eat by himself. Thank you Jordan and Mikey for supporting me in everything . We will always remember all the staff in this hospital as true angels on earth. We are very grateful. THANK YOU!!!!

Fantastic experience: In March my husband suffered a series of debilitating strokes. After his hospital stay we chose Banner Rehabilitation Hospital Phoenix because of their intensive therapy. He received PT, OT and ST, at a minimum 3 hours a day for 5 days. That’s 15 hours of therapy per week. I know from experience you do not get that at a skilled nursing facility. The staff at BRH are amazing. You’re greeted at the front desk by name. Housekeeping was in daily and always asked how we were. Kitchen staff waited until I came in to get his meal order because he couldn’t speak. The nurses and CNAs were compassionate and empathetic. Dr Statt was enthusiastic, encouraging and always had time to answer questions. There are no words to describe the dedication, compassion, skill and empathy of the therapy staff. Their encouragement and tenacity helped Carmen get as far as he did. I learned a lot during his sessions which is still helping me help him. When we left I felt like I was leaving family - I cried.

Fantastic experience: While supporting a family member who was a patient there at Banner Rehabilitation the facility took care of his every need and the staff was very professional and went above and beyond to make his stay as pleasant as possible. This is definitely a facility I'd recommend for high quality care.

Fantastic experience: I haven't been anywhere where I could say that every department, from the cleaning staff, dietary aids, nursing assistants, nurses, the Therapy team and Doctors have been amazing. Everyone is friendly and gives you the support needed to get you through you're rehabilitation. They listened to you and found ways to make what your going through much easier. They genuinely care about every patient. If you want the best care you can get when it comes to Rehabilitation, I recommend this place to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Fortunately I followed the advice of everyone I talked to and chose the Banner Rehabilitation Hospital in Phoenix after I had badly broken my arm. They were outstanding from the time I checked in at 2 AM until I checked out several days later. Both the check-in procedures and the check out procedures went smoothly and quickly. They are very well organized. My whole stay was extremely well managed. I can’t say I enjoyed myself but my experience was as good as it could have been under the circumstances. Every staff member that I met there was very professional, compassionate and understanding - from Leon who stopped by every morning to take my order for meals with good humor, to Larry who was an outstanding aid and was always cheerful and even packed me up when I left to all of the therapists who were very qualified (more than one of them had a PhD). And all of the administration people I dealt with were efficient and knowledgeable. The MDs were accessible and responded to any need expressed to them. The physical plant was new and was kept immaculate. I would highly recommend Banner Rehabilitation Hospital to anyone in need of excellent rehabilitation services .

Fantastic experience: This is a wonderful place to go if you need help after surgery. I went for a few weeks after I had spinal surgery. The staff there is phenomenal. I got excellent care from doctors, nurses, and therapists. Not to be left out the caseworkers and the cafeteria food was good too! The rooms are big and clean and have a private bath. Do not be afraid to go there. You will be treated right. I'm so glad I went there.

Fantastic experience: This is a brand new facility with state of the art technology. It is Very clean and well designed for patient care. The engaging staff is second to none and they really enjoy their work and their patients. They provide the patients with great care, focused engagement and do a great job celebrating the patients' recovery milestones. I would recommend Banner Rehabilitation Hospital to anyone, especially my friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful new facility with exceptional staff. Doctor Statt, the nurses, and all of their assistants/hospital staff were caring, friendly and thorough. We got to choose our own meals and the food was very good. I cannot give enough praise to the OT and PT staff who helped me recover and rehabilitate from my motorcycle accident injuries. If anyone needs this type of service, I highly recommend this facility. Many thanks to all the doctors and staff who made my stay comfortable and safe for me to recover from my injuries.

Fantastic experience: My experience was made pleasant because of all the wonderful people attending to me. Dr. Kenny was my main therapist who kept me apprised of my situation and answered all my questions in a professional and kind manner. My nurses, both day and night, served me so well and anticipated my every need. We bonded so well that I truly miss them. My highest praises to Sandra and Edsel as well as to Naomi, Bea, Tamika, Tricia, Paulina, Melinda, Tamarie, and Sylvia—also Linda, who graciously cleaned my room each day. My therapists were knowledgeable and professional and so personable. Again I miss Eli, Nicole, Jo, Mary Ellen, Lauren, and Samantha who made a custom splint for my broken finger. Each one of them encouraged me to do my best. In fact they helped me do so well they declared me finished one week earlier than expected. They held a graduation ceremony for several of us that was so sweet and affirming. Karen was my case manager who kept me well informed of things I needed to do. The only weak link was the way we had to order our meals a day ahead. A couple of times I did not get all I ordered and that was clearly printed on my meal slip. Fantastic experience: Amazing facility. The staff are incredibly patient and caring. I needed extra help and TLC after my spinal injury. I've been in the hospital for quite a while and I came here for my rehab. I'll be going home next week in good shape. The nurses, staff and their therapy Department really do amazing work. The equipment is top notch and this facility has given me my life back. Thank you everyone, especially Dr Statt and my my therapists Kirsty and Anna.

Fantastic experience: I want to tell everyone how great this place really is. Very clean and upgraded facility one person in the large room the service is like in the 5 star hotel the staff is very caring and tries to help you in any way possible the doctors and nurses are very knowledgeable and personable I had great PT and OT girls helping me get well faster the food is ok they took great care of me and I am very thankful to Dr Statt and others for taking care of me the way they did . I will recommend this place in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: This was an amazing experience. All of the therapists were friendly and very professional. I had the great pleasure of working with Rebecca and Kelly and their teams. They made therapy interesting and explained why they were doing what they were. Dr. Statt is an awesome guy. Very down to earth and a great people person. He treats his staff and patients with the utmost respect. The nursing and support staff was also fantastic and were always willing to help with anything needed and answer all questions. I would also like to mention the wound care nurses. Jessica and Karol are the best. They keep track of everything and come up with inventive ways to help things heal. The food was also the best hospital food I have ever had. Kudos to the entire kitchen staff. Fantastic experience: Professional, caring and positive staff got me home quickly and with confidence. Doctor Kenny and my therapist Kristy, Emily, Laura, Caroline and others hepled me relearn the skills I needed to return home. A special KUDOS to the night staff who were often called to my bedside two or three times a night and always showed up with positive attitudes.The food is good and has many vegetarian options. My room was always spotless. I would rate more than a 5 if I could.

Fantastic experience: Ultra-friendly staff! They coached me, & helped me push through some of the most painful experiences I've been through. Dr. Statt was available at least once a day, and I would often see him patrolling the gym while his patients were doing their therapy. He always stopped to ask if he could help. Five Star treatment no doubt.
