Fantastic experience: I've been here for a week so we shall see. However, everyone that works here is how I expected...like Alamedians! I'm so grateful for being home!

Positive experience: IJason have been very satisfied.staff and the workers are efficient , orderly as expected! Fantastic experience: I’m writing this specifically to sing the praises of and thank their former Activity Director, Debbie. Today 5/21/2021 was her last day. My mom has been at Alameda HC since a December 2017. There have been a number of good staff who have provided care to my mom and I am grateful to all of them but Debbie went out of her way to assist especially on Mother’s Day. I will always cherish the memories created that day. My mom remembers moments that would not have been possible without Debbie’s support and dedication to her clients. I have had many moments of contention with their management and Alameda HC can’t seem to keep an Administrator but Debbie and other staff like her balance those out. Thank you Debbie for your service and please know I hold deep gratitude for your love and care for my mom. I wish you well as you move forward into the next chapter of your life.

Fantastic experience: I went in & checked in with less than a 2 minute wait in line. The staff was fabulous & treated me with kindness & concern.

Fantastic experience: the friendships you could make at the healthcare can lead to many more friendships

Positive experience: The staff is very caring (protect) but severely understaffed. I’ve had to ask for service or items. I feel that the patients that are not English speaking are somewhat neglected by some of the CNA’s (especially those that work graveyard). You need flash cards for those that are unable to communicate.

Fantastic experience: We had my 94 year old mother-in-law brought up from s hospital in Fresno where she had broken her hip and developed a serious bed sore while recovering in a Fresno nursing home. The staff at Alameda Heathcare & Wellness were excellent. While would have liked to have had a private or double room instead of the triple room that she was given, we thought the care she received was exceptional in every way. The staff was always responsive to are concerns and requests and treated my mother-in-law with kindness and respect. While my mother-in-law passed away in less than three months after entering Alameda Heathcare & Wellness Center, my family is very appreciative of how the Center made her last days on this earth as comfortable as possible. While this was a difficult time for my family, the staff at The Center did an excellent job of keeping us informed of my mother-in-law's condition and providing us wit information and a comfortable environment during these last days of my mother-in-law's life.

Positive experience: Fudge. Just arrived and couldn't get a nurse to help my grandmother go to the bathroom. I was told there will be Chinese staff by the hospital social worker and just found out there's only two Chinese speaking staff. Would have been great if we weren't mislead. The ability for the staff to communicate with my grandma would help immensely.

Fantastic experience: My cousin has been at Alameda Healthcare & Wellness for approximately one month. On my first visit I noticed how clean the facility was and the staff was very professional. My cousin was well cared for even though he doesn't have the best insurance they are treating him with dignity and respect. The staff is always available and very courteous and helpful. I expected to see a place that was run down and staffed with people who didn't care but that was not the case and has not been the case each visit. I would highly recommend this place for someone who needs this type of care.

Fantastic experience: Alameda Healthcare & Wellness Center provides a great atmosphere and care for my mother. It has been about a year since my mother was admitted into the long term program as well. The staff has been so kind and helpful with the transition and care, always going the extra step for my mother and even myself (words of support etc). I truly feel that my mother is in a sense part of the “family”. The upbeat atmosphere and great customer service/relation is definitely a must in this field and definitely is reflected.
