Fantastic experience: Dr. Lau is amazing! She has miracle hands and it never ceases to amaze me how she finds the problem areas in my neck and back and provides immediate relief! Taiine is the best massage therapist I have ever encountered. She has been keeping my muscles functioning with her strong hands and a cool scraper that gets all the tissue unknotted and supple.I have been seeing them both once every week for several years. They have both been instrumental in my stroke recovery therapy.

Fantastic experience: I've been receiving treatment here for around 6-8 months now. I recently got out of the Marine Corps with many injuries due to training. Most of my injuries were from hand to hand combat training and they occurred in my neck, back and shoulders. Most of my pain was in my neck due to garrote chokes and being slammed on my neck in my Marine Corps martial arts program. I had an incredibly difficult time moving my neck and it was making my panic attacks worse. I've seen many chiropractors and specialists during my time in the military but did not get much relief. One of my previous chiropractors was a team doctor for the Oakland Raiders and I also attended another 5 Star chiropractor in Alameda. I was attending the other alameda Chiropractor 3-4 times a week but I was ultimately getting very poor results there. I found Dr. Lau and Taiine through their glowing results on yelp. After doing more research I learned that Dr. Lau was valedictorian of her graduating chiropractic class. She also teaches now at the Chiropractic school! Sounded like a great place to get treatment and found that Dr. Lau was in a class of her own. She is head and shoulders above anyone I have ever seen. It just isn't even close. I was getting more results from 1 treatment every 2 weeks from Dr. Lau than when I was getting 8 treatments every 2 weeks at another "5 Star" Chiropractor. I wasn't even aware of all the injuries I had but Dr. Lau always finds a way to get my body working a little better every time I see her. She is genuinely a good person and I feel very cared for at this clinic. She will never treat you like a number. She has helped me so much with my mental and physical health. It's incredibly how much my quality of life improved under her care. Taiine is also an absolutely gifted massage therapist. She has an incredible understanding of the body. I have hunted down all the top massage therapists in the east bay and they simply do not compare to Taiine. You have not experienced the incredible healing power of massage therapy until you've seen her. She's worked with professional athletes and knows how to really get to the root of the issue. I I don't know how it is possible that both of these amazing people found their way to Alameda but I feel very very fortunate to have found them. Dr. Lau and Taiine are incredibly professional and world-class in their knowledge/skill level. They've changed my life and have inspired me to help others with their chronic pain. This review is long overdue and honestly just does not do them any justice. If you are suffering from pain, please do yourself a favor and setup one appointment here. You shouldn't have to live like that. From someone who has searched for an answer at all the most highly touted places, trust me you will not be disappointed here.
