Fantastic experience: Very close to where I live

Positive experience: It was great to have a satellite office for Kaiser open right here in town, not only is there a pharmacy, theres a lab, pediatrics, ob/gyn, as well as regular GPs on site. Parking can be a bit of trouble with only a dozen free spaces and a crowded pay lot but all in all it's less hassle but in all it's less hassle than going downtown.

Fantastic experience: I've had kaiser, blue shield, blue cross, and more. Kaiser is cheaper, nicer, friendlier, and more convenient than all of them. Having a location in Alameda just adds to the benefits. Have been coming here more than a year, happy to keep doing so. Nice they have a lab and pharmacy on location so you don't have to go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kyle Scroggins was great! He’s kind and patient and thoroughly explained a scary medical procedure I was having :) He’s also very quick in responding to emails. I love the Alameda office! It’s small and intimate and has easy parking!

Dr.Villena introduced himself with a smile when he walked in the room.Was very pleasant,good listener,explains very well and clearly about medicines benifets and importance of taking it.Looks straight at you while discussing options to make me feel better.Gave examples of ways to relieve pain using herbs and medicines that will help me with my leg and hip pain .I left the clinic very satisfied and happy with my visit.Thank you Dr.Villena and the staff.

Fantastic experience: I had a great doctor visit with Dr. Sophia Kiran Grabenstatter. She was very good and explained the procedure for my biopsy clearly and patiently to me. I appreciated it.

Fantastic experience: Nice facility. All the staff members are very helpful and nice. Good meeting my doctor, Dr. Marquis, for the first time. Even though I just went for my physical checkup, with my last min. request I got my ears also cleaned. Ms. Cristina, RNA for Dr. Marquis is very helpful and nice. My only concern with this facility is the parking.

Fantastic experience: Mary K. Moreno, MD. is fantastic! I have been seeing her for several years now and am always impressed by her professionalism and bedside manner. She has a way of making me feel at ease during my appointments and takes the time to listen carefully and explain things in a way that I can understand. Her staff is also wonderful and always makes me feel welcome. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring doctor.

Positive experience: My family and I have been Kaiser Permanente members for a number of years. We've never had any problems with service or care. One must keep in mind that the Alameda location is a satellite and services are, by definition, limited. And yes, the Alameda pharmacy is small and the hours could be better -- it's not open on weekends and so it's not setup for people who work. Hence 4 stars, not five.
