QuickCare-Albany by The Corvallis Clinic

Positive experience: (UPDATE, READ FULLY) 1/30/2023 Appointment for 5:40pm; showed up at 5:00pm and filled out online patient portal information, logged back in and received confirmation of “Checked in” All parking lot spots were full in front of care facility for other patients so I shifted over one space in front of the AT&T store. I was told not to come in as symptoms related to COVID, they are precautious. (Fully understand!) sinus infection/right ear infection symptoms for myself. 5:50 comes around and still no one has come outside to see me, I call the number and was informed because I did not call to check in my appointment has been canceled and she would not go out of her way to remedy this other than to schedule a new appointment. SMH I ASKED HOW LONG IS MY APPOINTMENT FOR? “20 minutes” she replies I’m still within my window may she please come take a look at my ear No Absolutely appalled…….. 1/31/2023 I made another appointment at the last moment of the day around 4pm out of frustration with no other good options… to my surprise an appointment was open for 5:40pm; how ironic I thought. I scheduled it anyways an bit irritated. No way I was not going to do everything absolutely perfect this time! I showed up at 5:20pm and made the DREADED check in phone call; polite I might add and quickly transferred to the medical assistant who asks the generic questions as you might assume over the phone. I was then sent a link for a video conference with the practitioner immediately after; Alyssa Brown, an absolute pleasure of a phone call and swiftly to the point. She then ended the video call, came outside and checked my ear as well as discussed with me the medications she would recommend and why. She was polite, professional and to the point! EXACTLY what you would want from an appointment based QUICK care system. I felt it was only appropriate of me to write this update; I was met with much professionalism tonight and I only found it fair to leave my original RANT, and redeem my uncanniness with appreciation for mainly one person’s professionalism. Moral of the story; follow the rules exactly how they are laid out, don’t consider yourself special and you will be treated accordingly.

Fantastic experience: I’m surprised this place has bad reviews. My son needed a high school sports exam and his doctor couldn’t fit him in for weeks. This clinic was able to see him within two days. We also got a flu shot while we were there. All staff was on point, professional and courteous. What more can you ask for?

Fantastic experience: I received excellent care. Was seen promptly, staff was professional and took time with me, explained everything thoroughly and immediately called my prescription over to Fred Meyer's. Picked up my prescription and headed home, all completed in less than an hour.

Fantastic experience: All I did was call for an appointment....This doctor went above and beyond to get me the right specialist, and my son is well. I would have never expected anyone to go to these lengths that wasn't getting paid for it yet.... I'm impressed and Beyond appreciative with the professionalism and level of care taken by .Dr Krista. Thank you.!!!

Fantastic experience: These ladies have been a life saver for me this weekend. I’ve had four very sick babes and they have gotten us in quickly and efficiently and been super patient with our whole crew! The office is so clean! Thankful for the help!

Fantastic experience: I read the reviews and was a little nervous but I've had it with urgent care so I went. My appointment was at 1pm and I was back in my car by 119, it was super easy to book online too. I dont remember who the receptionist was but she was very nice and helpful, filling out new paperwork was quick and easy too. They figured out what was wrong and sent me on my way. It wayyyy beats going in somewhere and having to wait for hours to even be seen by a doctor.

Fantastic experience: Where else can you make a same day appointment, arrive early, and get in and out before your appointment time was scheduled? I love this place for quick convenient care and have never experienced bad service for myself or my son. Today’s experience was no different; Shannon was very pleasant and efficient getting me in and I felt all my health concerns were addressed professionally and thoroughly by NP Leslie Shortridge. Super happy this option is available Albany.

Fantastic experience: I received better care here than I do at my primary Doctor. They were quick, caring, and patient. They are quick but take their time to actually listen which was refreshing. Will definitely use again.

Positive experience: Mixed reviews. I have scheduled several appointments for myself and children (various reasons). Many times before getting in to the office a staff member will call and inform me I need to go to another office as they can't help. Seems as if they try not to see patients. However the few times I have been seen I have loved the efficiency and care provided. I love the available hours. Very convienant.

Fantastic experience: I was actually really hesitant to try quickcare, but so glad we did. We have now been seen at least 4 times and each time been very impressed with the care we were provided. Not only have they see me, but my children as well. We have never felt rushed, and have felt like they really listen. The staffing has been professional. The ease of choosing an appointment date and time is great! No waiting!! Sometimes it is a week or two before we can get into a regular doctor. If what we need to be seen for is in the scope of what Quickcare provides, I will pick them everytime! Thank you for providing a quick facility with excellent staff!!

Fantastic experience: I was really sick over the weekend, and couldn't get in to see my doctor for another week. I was able to schedule an online appointment at Quick Care for the same day just 2 hours later! Feeling much better now that I'm following the NP's instructions and taking my prescription. This is way easier than going to the doctor's office and waiting forever.

Fantastic experience: Nurse practitioner Shortridge was great. She took time and was very knowledgeable. Great bedside manner, I also brought my toddler and she didn't mind which I really appreciate it. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I brought my son here to get his immunization. The nurse was great and it was very convenient to go in after work. We were in and out in 20 min.
