Fantastic experience: I did PT for 4 months with Matt. He was great at giving instructions on how to do the exercises. He always figured out the best treatment based on my pain that day.

Fantastic experience: Started weekly outpatient PT for spinal stenosis and other issues with my back starting December 2022 into the beginning of 2023. My pain was intense to the point that I could not stand up straight. The exercises and advice I was given dramatically lessened my immediate pain and gave me specific ways of dealing with it when it reoccurs. Extremely helpful and professional!!!

Fantastic experience: The reason we had such a great experience was because of our physical therapist, Sam. Even with a few clerical issues, Sam made sure my son was taken care of and seen as often as was necessary for his development. It’s not always easy teaching an uncooperative baby to crawl then toddler to walk, but I’m so happy to say he is now THRIVING and walking all over the place. Our family is so so thankful to Sam for supporting our son and teaching us the tools to support his development at home. Thank you so much Sam!

Fantastic experience: Was recommended by my doctor for vertigo. My trainer Matthew was professional and very personalable. I felt comfortable asking him additional questions. The rest of the staff was respectful and professional as well. I appreciate they open early which allows me to make my appointments before work and not take off time. I would recommend this facility 100%.

Fantastic experience: I have used at home physical therapy, occupational therapy & also out patient physical therapy. My home therapist were awesome. They were very patient with me & had no problem reviewing exercises i wSnt sure I was doing correctly. My out patient physical therapist Kevin Paulsen is amazing, absolutely the best. I have used him for various injuries & would only consider using Kevin. Sunnyview is very good to their patients.

Fantastic experience: I deranged my knee skiing in February 2020. I went to Sunnyview to strengthen my knee for surgery. Although all of the physical therapists are good, Barb is the best! She would know how much pain I was experiencing when I walked in. She always adjusted my exercises as I reached each goal. After surgery she pushed me when I needed pushing and would caution me when I would do too much. I attribute my being able to walk without a limp to her. . I would strongly recommend Sunnyview Physical Therapy. Fast forward 2 years and rotator cuff repair. Nancy was great and helped me to achieve my goals. Still a Sunnyview Physical Therapy fan.

Fantastic experience: I got a referral from my doctor for Sunnyview Therapy Services because I lost mobility in my shoulder and was experiencing a lot of pain every day. I worked with Nancy Sterantino at Sunnyview to regain movement in my shoulder and stop the pain I was feeling. From the start, Nancy was able to diagnose the source of my problems and give me exercises that helped me steadily regain motion and reduce pain. She was very encouraging and great to work with. I told her that even when I felt discouraged as I started my therapy session, I always felt better when I left. I feel much better now and also feel capable of continuing to improve. I am grateful to Nancy for her help and would recommend Sunnyview Therapy Services.

Fantastic experience: I am a 66 year old retired RN, I felt so desperate looking for a vestibular therapist due to Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo which occured 2 weeks after I had Covid. I called so many clinics and nobody had answered me till 2-3 days later except SunnyViewTherapy Services 1450 Western Avenue,Albany ,NY. I was lucky enough to speak with the Physical Therapist herself and was given the appointment the next day. Her name is Barbara S. and she was so patient with me and did not give up the challenge till the vertigo disappears after using the right maneuver. We both worked together and i followed all the instructions she gave me and it all paid off. I felt so much better now after the terrible experience with Vertigo. I would recommend the clinic to anyone, the staff are nice and the place is clean.

Fantastic experience: Therapist was experienced in physical rehabilitation related to a stroke. Therapist recognized the signs of patient "overdoing" exercise at home and knew what muscles were stressed and how to relieve the stress while counseling on how to lowering the level of exercise without losing momentum. Facilities provided a variety of equipment to address balance and strength issues. Therapist made patient feel valued and important. Excellent experience.

Fantastic experience: I don't know what I would do without the staff at this rehabilitation facility. I have virgo in the worst way and then I had knee surgery. I suffered something awful in both instances. They were all the best. Most of all, Barbara. I don't know what I would do without her. I thank Catherine and my knee bender, she knows who she is. Fantastic experience: After experiencing a traumatic event my daughter has found herself in need of therapy services at differing times throughout her recovery and Sunnyview has always been there for her. We are convinced Barb is not only a talented and compassionate physical therapist but a magician! My daughters vertigo has been relentless and Barb does everything possible to correct it. Then she goes the extra mile to ensure that it stays corrected gir as long as possible. We are both so thankful and grateful for amazing PT’s like Barb! ❤️

I had the pleasure of working with four of the staff members through my several appointments due to the fact that my hours kept changing because of my work schedule. which I honestly thought was beneficial to me because I was able to get different inputs and insight on different things. I am most impressed with their ability to understand each individual’s limitations and customize a treatment program to help them maximize their recovery. We are very fortunate to have these services available to those if us in need here in the greater capital district.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at Sunnyview. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attuned to their patient’s needs. There were times I was not terribly excited about going, but the staff gently prodded me along and I always felt better afterward. And I am definitely better today than when I started. Fantastic experience: I could rave on and on about my several months experience with this wonderful place at 1450 Western Avenue Albany NY. The staff is professional, kind, competent, prompt, and goes the extra mile for whomever it is they are working with at the time. It was a delight to be there even in the midst of working through pain. They work you but it’s for your own good. I was actually sad to have to say goodbye. My particular therapist was Barbara Scheidel and simply the best there is around. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone in need and as a matter of fact I already have several times. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff at Sunnyview Therapy Services, in particular Kathryn, are not only professional but knowledgeable in their client's individual needs. I am looking forward to even more progress in my 90 year old mother-in-law's physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: One 45 minute session with Dennis cured my vertigo. Absolutely amazing. The treatment can take four or five sessions, but sometimes they can get it in one. The therapist is a real pro and also works at a hospital in Schenectady. So lucky to have gotten him. He knew immediately the problem and how to solve it. I would highly recommend Sunnyview.
