Positive Motion Physical Therapy has not yet filled its description.

I came to Ray thinking that I'd never run again. He helped save my running! He has a very different approach than other PT’s I’ve seen. Ray doesn’t try to juggle 3-4 patients at a time. He provides one-on-one care. I felt like I was listened to here.

Ray cares about his patients and is dedicated to finding solutions. His unyielding support and incredible knowledge of running mechanics is unmatched. Ray understands the body holistically. I trust his opinion 100%.

I came to Ray with debilitating headaches and severe arm pain. I could no longer pitch or even throw. I had to miss a semester at college because the pain was so bad. I was told by surgeons that I had thoracic outlet syndrome and that surgery was the only way to fix this. Ray took the time to listen my situation, researched how to best help me and had me feeling hopeful within a few weeks. After 5 months I could throw and pitch again without pain!

Fantastic experience: Ray and Claire are a terrific team who cater so well to the needs of each patient. Ray’s PT services are focused and thoughtful and individualized. I would especially recommend him to any runners out there- his knowledge and perspectives are invaluable. And Claire makes it all so easy- fitting in appointments, responding to any issues and making any interactions with this business a breeze. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Ray is a fantastic PT. Sat down and talked with me about my post surgery knee pain. Ray outlined a therapy plan for me. My issue was completely resolved in 5 sessions. I’m running pain free. Ray did an amazing job. Ray treats you individually. So happy with my experience!!!!

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best physical therapy experience I've ever had. Ray has gone away from how physical therapy is conventionally done because he makes appointments so he himself can spend time with each patient one at a time. Ray's understanding of the body also helped me treat a previously misdiagnosed Achilles injury that had been nagging me for over a year in a single session. I will forever be grateful to Ray. His wife Claire is also fantastic to work with when it came to making appointments and letting us know if any appointments ever became available.

Fantastic experience: Ray is a true healer. He does one on one work, and always can find a way to get you feeling better than when you walked in.

Fantastic experience: I saw Ray for chronic shoulder pain that was so debilitating that it was interfering with my sleep and ability to parent my toddler. Ray is a great listener and helped unravel my problems that were coming from several different issues I was having. I was able to not only sleep well at night but return to exercises that I thought I'd never be able to do again. The road to recovery can be a long one and it was super reassuring to have someone as knowledgeable as Ray there for the ride. I would absolutely recommend Ray in a heart beat.

Fantastic experience: Ray was recommended to me by a friend who had been to a number of other physical therapists, without relief. I had surgery for a torn meniscus which relieved intense pain but the residual pain caused me to limp. Thanks to Ray, I lost the limp!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Ray for over 5 years now for a variety of running-related issues. He is by far THE BEST physical therapist in the area, especially for runners. He only sees one patient at a time, he listens to his patients, and he always finds a way to fix whatever problem I am facing at the time. This woman Gale who left a poor review needs her head examined. I know numerous other runners who are also loyal patients and have nothing but amazing things to say about him. Also, "Gale" appears to be a fake name, and therefore that review should be given no weight. An honest person would use his or her real name when leaving a true review.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to thank Ray for his guidance and care in recovering from my PCL tear. Ray was able to assess and pinpoint that the weakness was in my hip and give me a series of exercises to strengthen my hip. He also explained the importance of stretching the piriformis and gave me exercises for that as well. Well today despite no longer having an intact PCL, I came in 2nd in my age group (50-54) at the 5k Upstate Classic with a time of 27:04 which is the fastest I’ve run a 5k since I can remember. So thank you Ray for being really good at what you do. You’ve helped me tremendously in a short period.

Fantastic experience: I just read Gale's review and it made me feel so terribly for Ray that I have to respond. Because people cannot defend themselves satisfactorily on these review sites. Ray is an extremely nice person and very competent in his job. I know this because I have been seeing him, and was referred by a friend of mine that is a marathoner. I also worked with two other people that went to Ray and who were not only helped by him, but also highly recommend his services to others. My pain has disappeared. I can only speak for myself but I did my exercises every day, correctly, and take pt very seriously as I want to be back out running again. I have every confidence that Ray will get me there. As he did for 3 other people that I know well. I am editing this to add that a search of public record databases for New York and internet search shows no "Gale Greenwood" in or around the Albany, New York area. I believe this review to be fake.
