Fantastic experience: I have gotten the most top notch care from Dr. Das and his staff. His medical secretary, Shanti, is very professional and compassionate. I've called a few times with issues and I always get a call back, and everyone is very nice as well as all the receptionists. Dr. Das is very thorough and kind and compassionate and listens. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Andrew Morse Performed a very successful Reverse Shoulder surgery. I followed his after care and PT exactly and have experienced great success and about 85% of my range of motion.

Fantastic experience: He was willing to help not just throw me out and tell me that he can’t help me anymore like the last doctor did. He took his time showed compassion and took the time to Refer me to places that can help me with my neck pain.

Fantastic experience: I seen Dr. Phelan with a frozen left shoulder as a result of a previous rotator surgery at GFH. where 3 of my follow-up appointments were canceled, so after 3 months I called the Bone and Joint Center, and was able to get in to see Dr.Phelan 3 days after calling.Dr.Phelan examined me and set up surgery to do anastasia manipulation only 10 days later, now with the awesome PT team in Greenwich, I'm getting better movement with my shoulder with each session. I would highly recommend both Dr. Phelan and the Greenwiich Physical therapy team. You all are Awesome!!

I can personally attest that Dr. Shankar Das is by far one of the best shoulder surgeons in the capital district area. From my initial consultation to my post surgical follow up Dr. Das and his staff are nothing less than exceptional in the service and care of their patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Robert Cheney is the best doctor in his field. I had been in severe pain for most of 2022. I had been going to a pain clinic for most of last year. Had 7 epidural injections which did not help for more than a couple weeks. Dr. Cheney performed a Decompressive Lumbar Laminectomy and Posterior Spinal Fusion. I am now pain free. What a life changer for me. He is the man!!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ortiz at the Bone and Joint Center saw me for the first time this week to assess hip pain I’ve been having for about a month. I had a terrific experience all around, which was a shocking pleasant surprise because experiences my wife had with another doctor, and the Center in general, about ten years ago, were double-nightmares. I was able to get an appointment much sooner than I expected, although not with the original doctor I wanted to see, but what I needed first and foremost was an assessment of what’s going on with my hip, and that’s what I got. The staff were friendly, attentive and pleasant, and it did not seem ‘forced’, but genuine. I thought I would just get a five-minute face-to-face with Dr. Ortiz, and a script for a scan of my hip, but instead I had x-rays done during my visit and Dr. Ortiz went over them also during the same appointment. He plainly and definitively told me what he thought was going on and gave me a script for some PT. When I see doctors these days I always record the appointment because all too often they rush through things, use medical terms I often don’t understand, and leave me feeling like I’m just one cow in a herd. The irony is that I started recording because of how my wife was treated at the Center ten years ago - BUT - my recent experience was absolutely positive. Much to my surprise, I received an email with ‘notes of my visit’! A FANTASTIC IDEA!!!! I’ve never had a doctor or practice do that before. Given how bad the medical field became after the pandemic I am sincerely pleasantly shocked at how great my experience was, especially compared to what I expected given my wife’s experience. BTW, I would give 4 1/2 stars if I could but rounded up to 5 because of the obvious improvements made. To Dr. Ortiz and the Center’s staff, my HUGE thanks to you all!

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Todd Shatynski for a few chronic problems. Very nice man who listened to all I had to say. Very knowledgeable, and provided comprehensible explanation of what he was seeing. Will be returning after initial course of treatment. Would recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: Orthopedic surgery is a last resort. Upon visiting Dr Schneider at the Bone and Joint Center, he listened to me as I described my symptoms and from his vast experience in sports medicine, he immediately gave me his diagnosis. An MRI confirmed his diagnosis that I had a fully torn rotator cuff and bicep tendon. Dr. Schneider and Remy, his medical assistant discussed options, including letting it go, physical therapy or surgery. Needless to say, I was anxious and not interested in surgery. Dr. Schneider knew that I was an active individual in sports and recreation and he truly wanted the best outcome for me to resume my active lifestyle. While contemplating surgery and inquiring about physical therapy sessions, I was communicating with Remy. She was an outstanding resource who always responded timely and with concern, never once trying to steer me in a direction. After a second opinion, I decided to get the surgery to repair the damage. Dr. Schneider is an extraordinary orthopedic surgeon. My experience under his care was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, Dr. Schneider displayed a genuine commitment to my well-being but doesn’t sugar coat. He and Remy took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explained my condition, treatment options, and what to expect before and after surgery and ensured I felt comfortable and informed throughout the process. Dr. Schneider’s surgical skill is second to none. My procedure was executed flawlessly, and the results have exceeded my expectations. Thanks to his expertise, and recommendation for the perfect physical therapist, I’ve regained my mobility and quality of life. I started physical therapy and was told by the physical therapist that recovery of a rotator cuff was the grand daddy of them all, and that diligence and hard work would be the best outcome. I followed all of the PT requirements fully and I’m now feeling great.

Fantastic experience: Dr Phelan is working with my 16 year old daughter who was in a motor vehicle accident with ejection so she has some serious trauma and breaks and fractures he has made her feel comfortable as well as I in his care and concern for her health and well being. Hands down a great Dr

Fantastic experience: Dr. Marinello is absolutely amazing! He’s truly a miracle worker. When my daughter broke her finger for the second time in three years he didn’t have much to work with. Yet in October of 2022 after two surgeries he was able to put her finger back together again. After five months of aggressive PT she received the best news. She was cleared to play all competitive sports. That meant she wasn’t going to miss her sophomore college softball season. Thank you so much to Dr. Marinello and staff for making my daughter whole again❤️

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to the Urgent Care at the Bone & Joint Center in Albany. I was seen by Dr. Czajka and was very pleased with the way I was treated. He listened very carefully to the symptoms I was having & suggested an x-ray. (The x-ray technician was very good as well.) After reading the x-rays, a treatment was suggested by Dr. Czajka, which was thoroughly explained to me by him. I was feeling better within a few days. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Called on Saturday because we were having trouble getting sling positioned correctly after changing clothes the day after surgery. They connected me to a cast specialist who got us straightened out efficiently and patiently. Equipment use is second nature to your staff. Tutorials for rookies on your website or equipment directions sent home might be helpful.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to the Bone and Joint Center for years now for various issues with joints and back. My normal Doctors I see have been Dr. Ally and most recently, Dr. Cheney for my cervical spine. I’m 2 weeks post op from having 2 level ACDF by Dr. Cheney and it couldn’t have gone any smoother! I feel great already and the pain is gone already in my arm! Recovery went super smooth and as quickly as he said it would. I highly recommend Bone and Joint Center, especially these two surgeons!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Whipple and his entire staff have been nothing shy of amazing. He came highly recommended to me by many people in the area. They were all 100% spot on. I am so happy I chose to have Dr. Whipple perform my carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand, and he will eventually be doing the left hand in the next several months. There is absolutely no one that could’ve been better. He’s an amazing surgeon/doctor, so knowledgeable, great sense of humor, and VERY caring. He takes so much pride in his work and making sure his patients are happy/comfortable. His entire staff at the surgery center are also wonderful. I could not have asked for better. I was very nervous day of surgery and he reassured me that he would take good care of me, and that I would be OK. If you or anyone you know, needs carpal tunnel surgery/hand surgery/thumb surgery and you live in the capital region area there is absolutely NOBODY better than Dr. Whipple.❤️‍

Fantastic experience: From the first time I met Dr. Phelan and his staff I was thoroughly impressed they were very efficient with getting me in and out of my consultation. Not to mention I was able to have a consultation within days of my initial contact. Dr. Phelan was very professional, but also thorough with his communication great bedside manner, and just a great surgeon in general. I had a total ACL reconstruction with a hamstring graft on February 14, 2023 from start to finish communication was the absolute best I’ve ever had with any healthcare facility, on top of the best care from my surgeon. His nurse/medical secretary Ashley was absolutely amazing. She always answers emails extremely fast, and makes sure all of your needs are taken care of all around. I highly recommend anyone to Dr. Phelan and his team at the Bone And Joint Center for any sports medicine related injuries, if I could give them 10 stars I would!!! I also work in healthcare and was still blown away with me entire experience!

Fantastic experience: The urgent care here is phenomenal. I got in and out within two hours, and everyone was incredibly kind to make sure I was well taken care of. Dr. Cole did a great job, and the receptionists at the front desk couldn't have been better. Would recommend this office to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Whipple is a wonderful hand surgeon. He performed carpal tunnel surgery on both my wrist and my daughter's left wrist and we are both thrilled with the results! No more tingling or numbness. I would recommend him to anyone with hand issues without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: I recently had surgery and it was the best medical care I had in a long time. Dr. Marinello was great explained everything so I can understand. The nurses and staff were all kind professional and they all worked together like a well oiled machine. There policy of treating every patient with respect and smiling all the time doing it goes a long way when you're having surgery. There policy that is posted everywhere about the way to act is a perfect way of saying please act civilized seems to work. And it makes the experience of healthcare like it used to be, everyone got along like family very refreshing. So take it from me if you need Great healthcare go to the bone and joint center. Lastly, they were patient with my wife and I, and demonstrated their honesty and care in all phases of our appointment. I feel confident about moving forward with their recommendation.

Fantastic experience: I broke my ankle in three spots. Very severe break and had fracture blisters. I was very nervous and scared being older that I would have issues healing. Dr chiesna was fantastic. Surgery went well. And the after care was also fantastic. His bedside manor was great with a good sense of humor which to me is very important helps with my nerves. I would highly recommend him for any trauma surgery you may need. Unfortunately I did not see anyone else in the practice except him and a few nurses and a few people who helped recast me. Who were also wonderful. Thanks to his care 4 months later and I only have a slight limp which is going away and really no major pains. Thanks bone and joint center for making me whole again

Fantastic experience: Dr Quinn is great! He takes his time to answer any questions you have. He speaks in terms we can understand, and he has a great bedside manner. On our first appointment, Dr. Quinn started off with a "funny story" which was a nice ice breaker. And so far since he did my husband's surgery, all seems to be progressing well. Thankful for Dr. Quinn!

Fantastic experience: I would like to share my experience to all present or future clients looking for professional help for their issue. I first met Dr Maxwell Alley 22+ years ago, and myself being a professional in my construction career and now having to give up control to another person for a health issue was very hard for me. Now the time had come for a major decision to consider allowing someone to rebuild my body,but also knowing that I wasn't able to work my career to the best of my ability, so I listened to Dr Ally in regards to doing his best to improve the quality of life for me, well here I am 22 years later praising Dr Ally for still being here in his career to help others with the knowledge that he has gained. I desperately now need his services and knowledge again to rebuild by damned body parts so that I may continue working to assist others in my career and I am comfortable that he will do his best to improve the quality of life for me again. He is the best in my eyes to put your faith in for health issues that he is most qualified in. My experience says don't hesitate just call and you will never regret your decision.
