Positive experience: The care I received was great by David Young (the owner) 5 star for sure!! The first few times I went I ask the receptionist Barbara what I owed them and she kept telling me I didn't owe them anything and my insurance was covering it. After 2 1/2 months I received a bill for my portion, so my insurance did not pay for all of my therapy. If i would of known I would have stopped therapy much earlier because I found out I needed another surgery and therapy wasn't going to get me 100%. Caution: call your insurance company yourself. I felt a bit deceived.

Fantastic experience: I’m completing 12 weeks of successful PT at North Fulton under the great care of Matt Laudel. After arthroscopic surgery for a torn meniscus of my left knee, my PT goal was to be able to get back to pain-free running. Matt listened well, and then knowledgeably prescribed an effective routine of strengthening and stretching to get me to where I want to be! ‍♂️ My surgeon, Dr DeFelice (also 5 ⭐️‘s!!) recommended North Fulton PT & Sports Medicine, and I’m very glad he did! Matt, Marci, and Dave are all highly experienced, caring practitioners who devote their full days to helping others — of all ages, injuries, and/or goals — to regain their lifestyles! We need more people like them! The Alpharetta facility is clean and well-equipped; plentiful, safe parking is free; and the supporting scheduling and billing functions are efficient and patient friendly, with most forms of insurance accepted. I highly recommend North Fulton Physical Therapy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I had surgery on my left shoulder in December 2020 to fix a rotator cuff and labral tear. The surgery was performed by an orthopedic surgeon at Resurgens Orthopedics in the Johnscreek office. I chose Resurgens as my physical therapy provider because I assumed they were highly accountable to the surgeon and the group. Unfortunately, after six months of physical therapy, I developed frozen shoulder because the physical therapy team didn’t seem to care about me as a patient. Instead, their priority seemed to be churning out more patients to generate profits. I had a serious discussion with the surgeon, who recommended David Young very highly as the go-to guy if physical therapy recovery wasn’t going well. At his recommendation, I had almost a few months of physical therapy with David Young at North Fulton Physical Therapy and recovered completely! What I admire about this group of experts is that they really work hard towards your recovery with great attention to detail and don’t limit themselves to a certain amount of time like 45 minutes. Instead, they spend as much time as it takes to get the therapy done! My wife had physical therapy with them for a miniscule tear knee surgery and recovered well. Now I have scheduled a physical therapy session with Matt, their back and spine expert, at NFPT for my chronic back pain. NFPT is my go-to place for all my physical therapy needs!

Fantastic experience: In my opinion this is the best practice in north Fulton at which to receive physical therepy.. I have had therapy for 3 broken bones over the last two years and I was lucky that my trauma surgeon sent me to David Young for first my left shoulder and then my right humerus. It'sHe is the perfect combination of encouragement but also making it plain that the results you get are proportional to the work you put in. He has been a pleasure to work with and learn from. Plus he has a personality that made me look forward to therapy It was *my happy place" Additionally I was sent to Marce Keith for strength therapy on my leg in which. I broke my hip and for balance and stabiliy training .She was such a great therepest to work with.Each session she seemed to have different and well thought out tasks that were designed to help with my specific needs. She was endlessly inventive. She worked one on one with me at every session and was always encourageing. and kind.l worked with her until Medicare would no longer pay. I feel that I made real meaningful progtess in these areas ditectly attributable to Marce Her kind friendly atitude made it fun for me every day I went After that, my husband and I are continuing at the therapy practice with a fitness program at our expense. I feel that I can go even further. I will never be able to thank David and Marce enough

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to NFPT for over 20 years, and I cannot recommend the practice highly enough. David Young and his team of therapists are knowledgeable, professional, and engaging. Dave has”done”/rehabbed both my knees, several shoulder surgeries, a foot surgery and more. In addition, both my husband and I have been treated by Leslie and she is top-notch, too. I can’t imagine going anywhere else for my PT needs, but the best recommendation is that so many of my doctors go to David for their and their family’s PT needs!

Fantastic experience: From my initial evaluation visit, I felt confident in the expertise and care I would find in this practice. Now after over a month and a half of pre-surgery PT and over a month of post-surgery PT, I am even more confident and grateful that I picked this practice. The DPT there are all very compassionate and competent; I have been working with Matt and he does just enough to remain challenging but also balanced in the workouts I receive. Physical therapy is not easy nor pain free but I honestly feel so much better and energetic on the days of my sessions. I love how attention is given to each and every patient without being rushed. Matt is very empathetic and honest about my course of treatment and what he tells me has almost always correlated with what my orthopedic surgeon….who, just to put it in perspective, has been recognized as one of US News & World Report’s Top Doctors with a special distinction listing him among the top 1% in the nation in his specialty….. has said or recommended. This practice is a hidden gem where you will see improvements and practical results. It’s definitely worth your time.

Fantastic experience: I've had 6 orthopedic surgeries as a collegiate athlete and I've been to various physical therapy clinics across the state with an array of results. NF PT & Sports Med has the most knowledgeable, skilled, and personable physical therapists and staff I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. They worked closely with my doctor and me to create a treatment plan that was unique to my situation and got me back onto the field as soon as possible. Based off of previous experiences I never thought I could actually enjoy physical therapy, but I actually looked forward to each session. One thing that separates NF PT from places like Benchmark or PT Solutions is that you aren't being treated by a PTA or a PT tech, but a Doctor of Physical Therapy. To me that is a major selling point. If you're an athlete or someone of any age dealing with an orthopedic issue, I'd definitely recommend giving NF PT a try.

Positive experience: As both a referring physician and a patient, I highly recommend using Blair for your PT needs. On outside appearance this facility is a bit dated, but don't let looks fool you. Blair has used multiple modalities, including pilates on the reformer, stretching, dry needling, ultrasound, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, modification of orthotics, gait training and specific home exercise program tailored to my individual needs. Where many physical therapists see several patients at once, Blair sees one patient at a time and even sent me a text to alert me she had been to a CE event and had some new ideas for me! I can't recommend her enough

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend North Fulton Physical Therapy for rehab after surgery or an injury. I had shoulder surgery and the care I have received from Thomas and the entire staff has been awesome. Even my doctor is impressed with the progress I have made so far.
