Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Mary for 5 months and I thoroughly enjoy my sessions. All the staff are so friendly, you are always welcomed with a smile and you are seen on time. My issues are complex but nothing phases Mary and she is quick to come up with ideas, support (physical and emotional) and alternatives. She is firm without being intimidating but equally doesn’t make me feel bad when I let laziness or negativity get the better of me. I thoroughly recommend Mary and Fusion PT to anyone and everyone!

Fantastic experience: I thought of physical therapy as a last-ditch effort to avoid replacement surgery on my arthritic hip. I am 72 and was formerly athletic, but I'd gotten to the point where a short walk to the mailbox was quite painful. Cecilee, who has her doctorate in PT, first performed a comprehensive quantitative assessment which included measurements of mobility, flexibility and strength. Then she developed a strategy to address my deficiencies and to strengthen the surrounding hip support structure. We realized that it wasn't just one activity which triggered the pain, and the pain affected different parts of the hip joint. The results are impressive, but it took a year and a half to get here. I'm not pain free, but I know now which activities trigger the pain and I have specific PT tools which I can employ to alleviate the pain. I haven't had to give up the heavy yard work which I enjoy and I don't think I'll have to have hip replacement surgery. I was able to walk a quarter mile to see fireworks with minimal pain. I woke up the next morning suffering, but by employing my PT tools, I was pain free in a short time. I'm finished with regular PT visits and all the former visits were covered by Medicare which Fusion handled. I'm a huge fan of Fusion and Cecilee. Btw I'm Jeff's father, Bob -- I just borrowed his computer.

Fantastic experience: Mary & her team always do a great job. My most recent visit required treatment on a muscle issue one week before a triathlon. I was able to participate & complete the race all due to Fusion's treatment & PT!

Fantastic experience: I have known Mary Doyle Smith for several years and I was very happy with the PT results dealing with my lower back issues. Mary came highly recommended by Dr. Ruben Sloan of Resurgence in Atlanta. She is very professional, knowledgeable, caring and refreshingly honest! As of last week I started PT for my knee and I am very pleased with the initial progress I am making thanks to her recommendations and the video and written instructions outlining my daily exercise program. Stacy at the front desk is very helpful and accommodating with my insurance issues. This is my go to place for Physical Therapy!

Fantastic experience: I started running again and did "something" to my foot and ankle. My PT, Kelly, evaluated me for about an hour and provided guidance on different exercises I could do to alleviate the swelling as well as strengthen and stabilize the muscles and tendons in my foot. I have had a couple of sessions and am already feeling better. I highly recommend calling Fusion if you are having an issue.

Fantastic experience: Fusion has been treating me for a chronic shoulder tendinitis problem and inside of a few visits, I can feel substantial progress. I've found their practice to be welcoming, professional and extremely knowledgeable. The exercises are appropriate for my condition and get progressively more detailed as I make progress. I still have a way to go, but I'm confident that Fusion has my best interest in mind and they are sending me down the right track. I categorically recommend them.

With the exercises and advice I received, I'm back on track! My appointments were always challenging, but fun! I should have called sooner!

Fantastic experience: You arrive - you are seen! Full length one on one appointment with the physical therapist- in a treatment room! I have been going to Fusion on and off for my PT for 2.5 years. I first went there to work through an ankle dislocation/break (with surgery), and continued for my long term back issues, foot fractures and plantar fasciitis. The difference for me is spending my entire session with the actual physical therapist, listening and answering all my questions, helping to resolve my issues. The discussions, evals, and dry needling (which help me a great deal) are in a private room - there are no curtains or other patients listening to everything I say! The exercises and equipment are in a larger area where I still have ONE ON ONE attention the entire time with my therapist. You are NOT with a therapist for 10 - 15 minutes and then passed on to an assistant juggling several patients at one time. You DO NOT feel like a number at fusion. Over my time and treatment, I have worked with Kelly, Lisa and Barb - all are excellent and I am super pleased with my progression. Lastly, environment matters! I want happy, clean offices with good vibes, good people and excellent treatment - that’s Fusion for me.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Fusion PT and Barbara, specifically. I've suffered from chronic lower back pain due to disc bulges. I've done physical therapy elsewhere, seen many doctors and suffered through a pricey injection in my lower back, without much improvement. Desperate to try something new to get some relief from the pain that radiated out of my lower back every day and woke me up most nights, I researched dry needling, and a lot of positive reviews led me to Fusion. Scheduling was easy; there's tons of parking and the space is cheerful and buzzing with activity. A lot of great people work at Fusion, and they're providing great service to people of all ages with all types of physical issues. I provided my history and MRI results to Barbara, and she got right to work. She asked a lot of great questions to help me articulate my pain and what exacerbates it the most. She observed how I navigated standing, sitting, twisting and bending movements that I didn't realize were affected by my back issues. She felt across my back and immediately identified tight areas and opportunities to increase my strength and mobility and reduce pain. It was extremely interesting and encouraging to witness her expertise at work. I got her one-on-one focused attention at every visit, and she continually provided solutions that worked for me - from exercises that improved my core strength to modifications I can make to my standing posture and movements that will help with pain that wakes me up in the middle of the night. Dry needling was fascinating. Barbara identified areas on back - different areas each time depending on my pain level and mobility on that day - and positioned the needles to trigger positive responses in my muscles. It was uncomfortable at times, but I quickly noticed improvement. Coupled with the activities and movements she prescribed to me throughout my therapy sessions, I am feeling better physically, and I am - for the first time in a while - optimistic for a future without constant pain. I continue to work the program Barbara gave me and apply the techniques she taught me to reduce my pain and improve my overall quality of life. I love Fusion and recommend it to anyone navigating a tough physical issue.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't recommend more. When I walked into Fusion 4 months ago with 2 herniated discs, hip impingment, and extremely tight muscles Lisa worked, and worked, and WORKED with me. Today while not 100% which will require surgery, Lisa got me back to pain free days and highly functionally 90% or so. If other physical therapists have failed you as a few before Lisa had me GO to Fusion. Their individual appointments and approach will hopefully give the same results as myself.

Fantastic experience: Both my husband and I have gone to Fushion PT and have both been pleasantly surprised at the level of physical therapy we received. I have been to other Physical Therapy where they are monitoring PT on at least 3 people at one time! Fushion PT assigns a Physical Therapist to you and that person works with you one on one until your appointment is finished. We both felt that Lisa did an excellent job with our therapy and addressed and treated the issues we had. Lisa also treated my sister when she was visiting and needed PT for sciatica, etc. By the end of 6 weeks, she was without the pain she had been experiencing. All of the staff at Fushion are extremely knowledgeable and personable and I would not hesitate to return if needed!

Fantastic experience: As a “senior” who never experienced physical therapy until after my 65th birthday, Fusion was a wonderful experience. Mary Doyle Smith and her team came highly recommended to me from a childhood friend whose husband had severe back issues. I was not disappointed! Fantastic experience: I really enjoy going to Fusion PT as the therapist stays with me the entire time to monitor and correct my movements. I have been treated by Mary Smith at Fusion for years. I like the one on one attention I get. Mary is very attentive to my concerns. My results have always been positive allowing me to return to my normal lifestyle.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Fusion PTatl for 2 injuries. Of course the therapists are highly medically qualifed. They also have great "bedside manner". I have recommended Fusion PTatl to several friends, all of whom have also been pleased with their results.

Fantastic experience: I went to Fusion PT for plantar fasciitis that was extremely painful due to too much tennis. I was literally limping after tennis and had extreme pain and tenderness in the mornings. I went to Fusion and basically...I was doing everything wrong! Mary explained what I needed to do, gave me exercises and stretches, and told me not to stretch it when it was hurting that bad (what? I'd just been making it angrier with all my stretching!) I listened to her and did exactly what I was told to do and my foot feels so much better. She also did some needling on the outside of my foot and calf and that helped as well. She didn't run around to different patients and leave me hanging while she worked with someone else. She was 1:1 with me the whole time. I am so glad that I spent the money because I'd still be in a lot of pain without them.

Fantastic experience: I went to FUSION for five different injuries. They treated me when I couldn't stand up straight with dry needling, stim, and exercises. I had been to six doctors that stuck needles, xrayed, and MRIed me but couldn't stop the pain. Barbara told me I needed my hip replaced. I have been pain free ever since! Fusion has successfully treated me for hip and knee replacement and an Achilles tendon repair as well as other minor issues. Thanks, Fusion PT!
