Fantastic experience: They were all great. The only problem was when they packed all of my belongings but didn't pack my cain which is my brothers. I was still kind of out of it and didn't see all of my property. I called about it and they located it and told me I can come and get it. Im not able to drive for awhile. I was hoping they would ship it to me or get it to Dr. Jaggers office and I could get it May 15th when my staples come out at his office in Muncie.

Fantastic experience: My nursing care was AMAZING at St. Vincent ( Ascension) Anderson. I was admitted for an unexpected surgery. I typically do not go to this hospital but I was treated like royalty by everyone. The nursing staff, and everyone else was tremendous! The food was great! The kind folks who took my food order. I have zero complaints! In addition, the techs who provided patient and kind care. Also PT. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: The entire staff was amazing. They saved my husband and took excellent care of him. The nurses were especially patient in explaining everything that was going on and how to cope going forward.

Fantastic experience: I was almost dead when i got there and they immediately went to work on me without delay and found my hemoglobin levels was at 4 and they gave me a transfusion of 3 pints of blood and got me stabilized and placed in CCU for the night and kept watch over me until morning and then placed a scope inside my stomach and found the problem my hemoglobin levels was still low so they added another pint of blood and started the healing process i'm still not 100% but i'm home now and alive because of the excellent care they gave me

Fantastic experience: April 12th, I was scared and ugly crying. Was picked up by ambulance at Applewood payless. The one Driver even got my guitar out of my car. The Paramedic was thorough, and fun. I think of him fondly. The hospital was clean, and filled with very caring nurses, physician assistants. If they didn't know an answer to my question they looked it up right then and there. Everyone put me at ease.

Fantastic experience: I was admitted to St. Vincent on Monday morning for a reverse shoulder replacement. My intake was professional and prompt and all those I interacted with were intent on making my experience stress-free. Post surgical interactions with medical personnel were notable. I’ve had more hospital experiences than I can recall but the St. Vincent medical care team members assigned to me personified excellent patient care. They were responsive and intent on making my stay a pleasure. They succeeded!

Fantastic experience: I’m the mother of an adult daughter who had surgery at this hospital Friday 3/12/21. She chose to come here instead of her home town hospital ball memorial. Denise Greer RN took care of my baby. I had the pleasure of speaking with her via speaker phone while in my daughter’s room. I live in Florida and was relieved that she was in good caring hands. I was the biggest baby from being scared and she made it 110% better. thank you jenn! And the anesthesiologist(older male) along with Dr. Momah made it an absolutely great experience. Even the ladies at the surgery check in were great. Thank you st. vincent surgery department for helping ease my fears and making sure I was comfortable. the only thing i have to complain about is how quick they boot you out. I was 20min into recovery and they were dressing me and booting me out lol. thanks again surgery department team!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had surgery under Dr Jeffrey Blake on March 12, 2021 at Ascension St Vincent. This surgery was supposed to be a 1.5 hour surgery and ended up being a 4 hour surgery due to all of the adhesions present from a previous surgery. I ended up with a 9 day hospital stay between 2 different hospitals until I came back to be under Dr Blake’s care as well as Dr Richardson’s. It was no surprise that I had complications and blockages with all he had to endure maneuvering through to get to the root cause of what brought me to surgery in the first place. The reason for this review is to say Dr Blake is by far THE best Dr I have had the honor to have met and to care for me. If I could take him with me everywhere, I would be a happy woman. His bed side manners, his genuine care for his patients goes unmatched. I tear up just speaking of him to anyone that will listen. I feel special and as if I’m the only patient that matters. I would highly recommend him to anyone and he deserves the highest praise for the work that he does!! Wakanda forever (insider)! Also while I was in Ascension St Vincent I had the honor of meeting Dr Richardson who also treated me with the greatest kindness and respect and was very thorough in his profession. He updated and visited me every morning along with Dr Blake. All of the staff was awesome as well. I endured a lot and the RN nurses like Peggy and Juvie and the techs treated me so well. I know with the care I had it was the top reasons why my life was saved along with the grace of God and I want to thank all who played a part in my care!

Fantastic experience: I had to undergo a recent surgery that was performed at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. The surgery area of the hospital is brand new and extremely nice. The employees and surgical team were very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the procedure that was getting ready to be done on me. My surgery went very well and I was able to go home the same day. Another thing that I really appreciate is a day or two after I had my surgery one of the nurses called me to check on me to see how I was doing. Whenever anyone asks me what hospital I use I always tell them St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.

Fantastic experience: Had surgery on my ear done here, as well as ENT and ER visits stemming from that. Every time I've had anything to do with this place I've been impressed. For my ENT I see Dr. Warrick. At first I was put off by his bedside manner, but then quickly found that that might be a good thing to have. My old ENT was willing to basically put a bandaid over a life long issue, but Dr. Warrick went to extra mile and got testing and found the source of the issue. I had the surgery and since then I've been rid of the headaches that have plagued me for years. When i had my surgery everyone from the intake people to those in the ER to the nurses in recovery were very accommodating and sweet. The night shift nurse and attentends knew I was worried about spending the night alone in the hospital, and stayed with me while I was having bouts of voimiting after the anesthesia. They helped me get back to normal, with getting me water and crackers to eat, and checking in with me frequently. A someone who'd never stayed in the hospital before and was a bit out of it, this was huge. I really was impressed with this hospital when I came to the ER a few weeks after surgery with severe stomach pains and a fever. I grew up in Muncie, where there is only the one hospital. So I was used to that, and how their ER ran. You might be waiting 6-7 hours just for something basic. The last time I went there I sat in a wheelchair, hurt and crying, for over an hour waiting for an x-Ray. This place ran much much smoother. I was in and out in less than 2 hours, issue addressed and medication in hand. I was blown away. A great place. I'm happy that this is my local hospital.

Fantastic experience: Loved the place. People were courteous and there were even volunteers to guide patients through the vast well equipped facility. The doctor was very good and diagnosed the issue right away. Experts at what they do. recommend them!
