Fantastic experience: I think the best thing about my hospital visit was being attending to right away. I went to the ER and L&D came to get me two mins later with a pink wheel chair to take me to the L&D dept and I was taken right in and taken care of right away. They took wonderful care of me for the almost 24 hours I was there doing a complete investigation of what was going on with my body to ensure I was in good health and fit to return home to continue carrying my baby until full term. Very clean hospital and very nice people.

Fantastic experience: I am giving this Hospital and nurses 5 stars BUT the phone service SUCKS and is a 1 star. The automated announcement sucks and only gives you two options one use the 4 number code well what is the code to a patient (the room number and 1 for bed A or 2 for bed B) invalid code. APPRENTLY you use 101 then the room number and the 1 or 2 and it still doesn't go through. OK, let me see if you can get to the nurses station to find out about a patient. How there is no code for that? After 45 minutes of calling 25 times I get the nurses station by accident and then the nurse calls me from my moms room I get to talk to her. This went on for three days of this to talk to my mom while she was in the hospital. What pissed me off the most. When she was ready to be discharged. She tried my dad, brother, and myself to let us know she was ready to come home. Mind you my dad is retired, my brother works from home, and I commute. We all answer our phone and were waiting for her call. Every time she called it said no longer in service, incorrect number, no ringing, no luck. The charge nurse even tried at the nurses station. She called on her personal phone to let us know and let my mom talk to me because she was so upset. WHY change the phone system, WHY WHY WHY. Bless her nurse and the other nurses who have had to do this for other patients. NOT OK what if it was an emergency and someone was going to be passing and they needed family to come, what if there was a concern related to a patient and needed medical information for somewhere in the hospital, or in general communicating with family. WOW dropped the ball VERIZON...

Fantastic experience: I had a heat stroke that turned into a blood clot in my heart. The dr.s here at St Mary's are on hit the quality of care is incredible the nurses are awesome! I've never felt i was in such good hands my life!!EVER in any of my hospital stays. The nurses here are attentive caring kind, and very knowledgeable, about the care you are receiving. One nurse in particular was awesome!! She slowly explained the procedures I was facing and what to expect AMY you are awesome thank you for the kindness and understanding to explain everything I was facing. You eased my nerves and my wife is so relieved you were handling my care. Again the care here at St. Mary's should be the precident that all hospitals here should strive to emulate 10 out of 10 stars!! Thank you for saving my life!! And a special shout out to both ASHLEYS In ICU. Your work is astounding thank you both!! UPDATE...11-28-23. I had the surgery to remove the large kidney stone in my left kidney and, everything went great! From thedr.s in the OR to the nurses in recovery, you are truly angels in scrubs!!! This is a special shout out to the dr.s but especially the nurses who bear the the brunt of the work. I couldn't have had a better team, you guys and gals go above and beyond in fulfilling your duties!!! You are awesome!! Susanna,Justine,Nancy,lily,Britney,arely, Jessica,Debbie, and,jennifer R. You are truly professionals at your job and st. Mary you again, set the bar for good quality health care!! And to Brianna,and Michelle my nurses who help me keep a good cheer and how you two make a great team!! Brianna I was so very impressed on how you were so eager to learn a new procedure when Michelle removed the nofrostomy tube from my kidney. You showed an interest and true eagerness to learn and that's what makes a person good at your job!!! Michelle you have the Midas touch!! I did not feel a bit of pain and you showed your professionalism to teach someone a new thing. You two are a great team keep up the good work and know you are truly angels in your trade!! St.marys hospital CEO's you picked some great staff but these girls are great and work so diligently and so hard trade they don't earn enough lol they all deserve a raise thank you all at st. marys for your above quality care and expertise. You made a hard time a lot easier to deal with. SPECIALNOTE...the app you have available to download is a great thing to show your patients. I was able get real time updates to procedures and test results. Which astounded me! As anybody knows, it's not easy for the dr.s and nurses to readily be on time due to emergencies ECT.. to be able to get to you at times, with this app it gives you real time updates and comprehensive details that are easy to understand and are truly genius!! Thanks for making a difficult time for me easier to handle and just knowing the quality of carei received is awesome!!

Fantastic experience: Had surgery here this week. Nicest hospital staff, they were patient, and took great care of me. Even when my pharmacy refused my prescription, the hospital called and had it taken care of in less than 5 minutes.

Fantastic experience: We took our son (11 months) last night for a severe allergic reaction. As expected, the ER was busy but the Staff and patient care we received was extraordinary. Everyone, from the security guard, to the check in staff, to all the medical staff who treated him were so helpful, kind, and informative. Hopefully we don't ever need to return to the ER, but if we do, we will def be going to St. Mary's. Thank you to all the staff who helped and supported us during one of the scariest moments we have had as parents. For you, we are very grateful!

Fantastic experience: ER members nurses Dr Goff, Noah, other names I don't have wish I did- thankyou for the excellent communication regarding my mother who had a stroke in April. From 2000 miles away this is never good news, but as her POA all I can say is thankyou. Communication A++. Mom is doing as well as possible. Need a good speech pathologist but she's very lucky to have landed in your care. THANKYOU. ❤

Fantastic experience: This is possibly the easiest best hospital experience I have ever had from emergency room to admission to OR and recovery I went in Thursday with severe abdominal pain I could pass out any second from the moment I got there all the nurses and doctors were so nice and caring and understanding and did the best that they could it made my first time ever being admitted in the hospital a lot less stressful I was there for around 6 days total and I wish I could thank every single healthcare provider that helped me

Fantastic experience: I was a patient on or about Aug 30th in the Emergency room. Due to brain tumor surgery and other services I have been out of commission for a while. However, I wanted to make sure that the ER nurse Magen or Megan was recognized. My wife and I were going through what could only be described as the worst moment of our lives and she was amazingly helpful, caring and supportive. She went above and beyond and did everything she could to make our experience less traumatic. I don't know her last name but I hope that she gets some recognition that she so wholly deserves. Fantastic experience: I went to the emergency room on Sunday 18th. I was treated with respect in regards to my condition. The nurses were excellent, as well as the Doctor that preformed an Endoscopy on me. I greatly appreciate the care I received.

Fantastic experience: I don’t know if it was the time of the day (7am) but emergency room was empty. Staff was quick and courteous. They did more tests in less than an hour than Desert Valley Hospital did in 6hours. Felt like they really cared about my well being and they weren’t just trying to get us out the door.

Fantastic experience: The workers were all very nice. The doctor and assistant was very nice and assuring. I got there at 1045. They got me checked in with my vitals being done around 1115. That was quick. They then told me the doctor will be able to see me at 1215-1230. So I had to wait around till then. They drained my cyst and the whole process took like 15 mins. I was then done but had to wait for discharge which took about 1 hr and 40 min. Which was way to long. I asked a couple times when it was mine turn and they finally called me back. I do think they skipped me ahead of others which is cool. Discharge took like 1 min and I was out of there. Whole process was 3-4 hours.

Fantastic experience: They do the best they can with what they have and genuinely care. People need to understand and be patient. Don’t expect miracles these are people same as you and me trying to figure things out to help others. They don’t know everything nor should we be shocked if they don’t. But they will try.

Fantastic experience: I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I had my surgery here last week. I had a very nice experience not only was every I came in contact with exceptionally nice, they were perfessional and funny. I would definitely go back.

Fantastic experience: Came here after going to another ER and two other urgent care centers that refused to treat me. They took me here the moment I walked in briefed me on my medical rights and treated me like a human which was...the most comforting thing tbh. The nurses I encountered during 4-6am were knowledgeable, acutely aware of their patience needs, doctor seemed to trust them and communicate wel with each other, which was nice to see #respectnurses doctor was helpful and everyone worked with me and gave good feedback.

Fantastic experience: ON MARCH 16 I HAD AN APPPONTMENT AT 8:30 A.M. AS AN OUTPATIENT FOR A PROCEDURE (ANGIOGRAM) WITH DR. KAVIT DESOUZA AT ST. MARY HOSPITAL. I WAS INSTRUCTED NOT TO EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING AFTER MIDNIGHT THE NIGHT BEFORE. I ARRIVED AT 8:15 A.M. AND WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THE PROCEDURE UNTIL AFTER 3 P.M. I WAS INFORMED THAT THE CATHETER WOULD BE INSERTED EITHER IN THE WRIST OR THE GROIN AND WAS PREPARED FOR BOTH. DR. DESOUZA SAID HE WOULD DO IT THRU MY ARM AND IT MIGHT BE A LITTLE PAINFUL. DR. DESOUZA SAID HE WOULD GIVE ME A "LOCAL" SO I WOULD NOT FEEL THE PROCEDURE. HOWEVER, IT WAS VERY PAINFUL AND UNCOMFORTABLE SINCE I AM ALMOST 86 YEARS OLD. PERHAPS THE PROCEDURE WAS DONE THRU MY ARM BECAUSE IT WAS QUICKER AND THE DOCTOR WAS RUNNING VERY LATE ON HIS SCHEDULE. MY HAND WAS VERY SWOLLEN AND MY ARM BLACK AND BLUE. I WAS FEELING A LOT OF PAIN. WHEN I WENT TO THE RECOVERY ROOM THEY GAVE ME AN INJECTION FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AS WELL AS ASPIRIN. THE DOCTOR SAID HE DID NOT AUTHORIZE THEM. MY WIFE WAS CALLED AT 3:30 P.M. BY THE NURSE AND TOLD SHE COULD PICK ME UP WITHIN 30 MINUTES. THE DOCTOR HAD CALLED MY WIFE AT 2 P.M. SAYING IT WOULD BE ANOTHER TWO TO THREE HOURS BEFORE I WOULD BE RELEASED. WHEN I WENT HOME I HAD A TERRIBLE HEADACHE AND MY WIFE THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE I HADN'T EATEN ANYTHING SINCE THE NIGHT BEFORE. SHE GAVE ME SOME VEGETABLE SOUP AND THEN I TOOK SOME TYLENOL FOR MY HEADACHE. LATER I FELL ASLEEP AND WHEN I GOT UP I WAS VERY DISORIENTED. I DIDN'T KNOW WHERE THE BATHROOM WAS. LATER THAT EVENING I VOMITED ALSO. MY WIFE WANTED TO TAKE ME TO THE HOSPITAL BUT I FELT A LITTLE BETTER AND I FELL ASLEEP UNTIL 10 A.M THE NEXT MORNING. IT TOOK ALMOST A WEEK TO FEEL MY "NORMAL SELF". I HAD A FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT WITH DR. DESOUZA ON MARCH 25 AND WHEN I COMPLAINED ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE HE BECAME VERY ANGRY. I TOLD HIM I DID NOT WISH TO CONTINUE SEEING HIM. HE SAID HE WOULD MAKE SURE OF THIS AND SAID HE WOULD GIVE ME A REFERRAL FOR ANOTHER DOCTOR IN ORANGE COUNTY. DR. DESOUZA HAS BEEN SEEING ME TO MONITOR A FAULTY HEART VALVE. HE SAID IT NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED AND I NEED TO GO TO ST. JOSEPH HOSPITAL IN ORANGE COUNTY FOR THE PROCEDURE. MY WIFE AND I ARE BOTH OVER 80 YEARS OF AGE AND IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO HAVE TO TRAVEL DOWN THERE FOR A MEDICAL PROCEDURE WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY CARDIOLOGISTS UP HERE. I HAD AN ANGIOGRAM DONE IN 2004 BY DR. DEVINENI FOR BLOCKED ARTERIES . IT WAS DONE THRU THE GROIN AND I DID NOT EXPERIENCE ANY DISCOMFORT AS A RESULT.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience during a recent visit at St Mary’s due to COVID complications. The hospital staff were super professional, efficient, and their bedside manner was very comforting. The system they had set up was well-thought out and designed to be seen & treated quickly, but without skipping important steps. I felt cared for, which raised my morale, as I wasn’t in my right mindset for a few weeks prior. Thank you to all the hospital staff for doing what you do. Fantastic experience: My son and I had a wonderful experience here.The security guard at the front door, George was amazing! I have never witnessed such patience and kindness. The guy needs a raise. We saw Dr.Phillip and he was great! And was so funny too! The over all experience was great other than the wait time,but what do you expect lol... Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I rushed my immunosuppressive, vaccinated husband to ER, due to Covid, he was suffering from a lack of oxygen. ER staff kept checking his oxygen levels, they read normal, his lungs were clear, thankfully the ER Dr ordered, blood work, and chest xray. Under the care of Dr Chang and Denise, my husband received the monoclonal iv therapy due to his low oxygen levels in his blood from Covid. The staff listened, were attentive, and made my husband comfortable. Thank you

Fantastic experience: The Nursing staff at St.Mary’s is amazing. I had an emergency surgery and they recognized my condition triaged, tests and diagnosis quickly. Surgery and back home in a few days. They took great care of me on the Surge-med floor and the ER. Thank you again so much!!!

Fantastic experience: I was admitted in February 2020 with Covid 19. I was in pretty bad shape. At the time they assumed I had a Diabetic episode as there was no Covid testing but the symptoms were similar. It was touch and go for the first week. My kidneys shut down and I was having other major organ issues. The Nueses and Doctors were great. They saved my life. I was hallucinogenic and unaware of what was going on. My family told me later on of rhe care and actions taken by staff members. Thank you St. Mary's. You saved my life. I owe you everything.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient at St. Mary's twice in the last two months and I can say all the folks that I came into contact with in the ER, ICU and telemetry, lab (nurses, doctors, surgeons) were very knowledgeable, respectful, and very helpful. They are top notch!

Fantastic experience: I really like this hospital how ever some employees see you just like another number while others are nice kind and humble / this kind of people is everywere but having spinal cirgury I was specting a bit more help from the stuff members since due to Covid-19 they didn't allowed nobody in with me. I just wish people would do their job with joy and more compassion to those in need.

Fantastic experience: I was there for 4 days and I must say that from my observation those are the hardest working, most dedicated nurses and staff I’ve seen in a long time. The care they give is genuine. Will my Nurse assistant was so professional and kind. The nurses that tended to me were so sweet to me. Even though they were under constant pressure they tended to my needs with care. My sincere appreciation for superb level of care! I would recommend St Mary Hospital for health needs. I had complete confidence in the accuracy of my medicines. Thank you to all that helped make my stay just a little bit better.

Fantastic experience: Went in and was seen fairly quickly compared to other Hospitals. staff was very friendly and attended to my needs right away. Came out with everything taken care of. I recommend this Hospital to anyone. With wverything currently going on with this pandemic patience is needed.

Fantastic experience: Tamara Johnson Thank you....I was unbelievably uncomfortable when I showed up to St Mary’s hospital,I couldn’t swallow let alone compose myself with the pain,my body was fatigued and I didn’t want to be here anymore,due to Covid and the uncomfortable state of mind I was in,but the nurse who was watching over me,she made me feel better,she gave me peace of mind,she checked on me and made sure I had medicine when I needed it,she brought me water and made sure I was taken care of,I have been to this hospital multiple times and have never been taken care of the way Tamara Johnson took care of me,thank you Tamara Johnson you are a blessing

Fantastic experience: St Mary Medical Hospital is our go to hospital. They have some challenges due to Covid coupled with limited beds in the high desert, however the new administration is making changes in the right direction. God bless everyone who makes this community hospital run.

Fantastic experience: I went in for extremely swollen tonsils to the point of not being able to breathe. The emergency room nurse I had was so incredibly nice to me. She kept checking in on me and making sure I was okay. I have never been to the hospital before and was very nervous about going, especially being only 20 years old. The CT scan nurse was also so very kind as well. The doctor I had was also very helpful. Everything with COVID going on right now, it was all extremely clean and sanitized constantly. I would highly recommend this emergency room to anyone needing to go here.
