Fantastic experience: I love this place. The don't just fix the pain. They go after the whole problem. I have had this pain for years. I had asked several doctors to help me no one could figure it out. And of course it still hurts. Now that we figured out it's my sidiaca nervewith the pain so intense I am not sleeping well, after 3 weeks of this. My last Doctor said PT, finally I am feeling a lot better, I am now sleeping through the night and the pain has has minimize now. I am so glad they take care of the whole person. Give them a try

Fantastic experience: THIS IS THE BEST PHYSICAL THERAPY TEAM! You will feel welcome here and everyone here is extremely knowledgeable and supportive. The staff all work as a team to help you get better! Jenn is a highly skilled/trained PT and has been able to significantly improve my pain and discomfort from TMJ problems. My husband came in with so much pain, he couldn’t even swallow solid food! Within a few days he was better and a few weeks later he was back to himself! I highly recommend this clinic if you are in pain or have been told to see a physical therapist!

Fantastic experience: I have had a Phenomenal experience here. My injuries have been healing quickly and they have taught me how to to prevent re-injury. The staff is so knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and accommodating. If I unfortunately end up having a different injury in the future I will definitely chose Emery physical therapy for future treatment. Fantastic experience: Trying to find a physical therapy provider was a challenge but I’m super happy that I settled on Emery Physical Therapy! The staff is knowledgeable, experienced, professional and compassionate (and simply good, friendly, non-judgmental people!). Coming in, I felt discouraged and broken due to the pain and mobility limitations of my injury, but from the first assessment and every session since then, I’ve been able to make progress. Any PT office should be able to do that but I feel like EPT is invested in my improvements. Highly recommend EPT!!

Fantastic experience: My aunt went to this clinic for her shoulder. She loved going there and really appreciated the staff. She said the therapists, Jen and Phil, educated her about her injury and helped her recover and they had her progress her exercises as she felt better. She also loved Federico’s massages, and the receptionists were great too.

Fantastic experience: My aunt went to this facility few months back, she had a knee replacement on her left knee and she loved going there. She states that the staff was very friendly, she was scheduled for appointments very quickly and they made sure that she got the timings she wanted. She also liked that they give a home exercise program which she can follow thru an app and was very helpful for her. Currently, she got another knee replacement and is looking forward to going to EMERY PT!!!

Fantastic experience: The entire crew at Emery is fantastic! They are all very accomodating, friendly and well prepared for your visit. Jenn is very knowledgeable and knows her craft. Emery is the BEST PT facility around. We have been to other PT places and they were not professional and were doing basic exercises which ended up putting us back in our healing process. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Emery Physical Therapy for dry needling with Jen! I came in for my first appointment rating the pain in my neck/shoulder area a “9” on a scale of 1-10, and by my last needling session have almost no pain and have gained a lot of mobility and range of motion in my neck. The front desk is also wonderful and extremely responsive and helpful with scheduling appointments. I had a wonderful experience overall!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Emery for back and knee pain.I have a replacement on the left knee with a buckling in back of the knee. They program that was set up for me has helped to lessen it and hopefully will get rid of it. The therapists there are knowledge and very helpful to listen to what you say and to redirect the process if needed. Glad I am a patient there!

Fantastic experience: Today I completed the resurrection of my right shoulder with the help of Jen, Feddy, Priya, Jennifer, and another lady whose name I regrettably never got. I could not be happier with the experience. If you need physical therapy, you need to call these people. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated. What's more, they really care. What they did for me was nothing short of amazing, and I will be forever grateful. I also spent quite a bit of time there and watched them interact with other patients, so I know my experience was not a unique one. Now that I have your attention, let me share some details of my experience. Those may resonate with you if you're in a similar situation. Or you could just call them and book an appointment now. My injury was to the rotator cuff in my right shoulder. It was a bad one and involved multiple re-injuries over a number of years. As a result, I did a lot of things left-handed. My journey with Emery Physical Therapy began with a search that is likely similar to the one you're doing now. I went to my doctor, I got an X-Ray and an MRI and was then told to, "find someone local who does physical therapy". As bad as my shoulder was, I was skeptical that physical therapy could help. I looked at Yelp and Google. I did a search on the site of my insurance company. I read all kinds of reviews. I finally chose Emery and when I called, a sweet voice (Jennifer) answered the phone. I remember asking if they did shoulders. I was awkward and didn't even know how to start that conversation. She took my information, and we exchanged some documents via text and email. That experience could not have been easier and put me at ease for the first appointment. In the first meeting, I met the other Jen (Laube) who would be my physical therapist. She assessed my shoulder and asked me some questions. At this point my shoulder was a mess. I could put my left thumb behind my back and up between my shoulder blades. I couldn't get my right hand behind my butt. Coats, shirts, and backpacks had to go on right arm first. Reaching for my phone on the nightstand was painful as was lifting the covers. I certainly couldn’t throw anything. My goal was to have a functional right shoulder that I could use without pain, to be able to play catch with a football with my son, and maybe even to be able to bowl again (that seemed unfathomable in February). Over the next 4 months I saw Jen twice a week. In the beginning, she taught me exercises to regain the range of motion in my shoulder. She taught me how to NOT sleep on it. She and the rest of the crew patiently worked with me to make sure I was doing all the exercises correctly (and admittedly, I was not great at them). Gradually the range came back. When I started, I'd stretch to the edge of discomfort (further would have caused pain and she told me many times "If it hurts, don’t do it!"). By the end, there was no pain at all at the end of those stretches. Then we moved on to strengthening. New exercises! Toward the end of strengthening, she taught me how to NOT re-injure myself. She re-taught me how to throw a tennis ball. Apparently, I had been doing it wrong for over 40 years. I not only learned how to do it right, but my accuracy quickly improved. Then she re-taught me how to throw a football. You guessed it, I'd been doing that wrong too. In one 10-minute session in the parking lot, I went from throwing wobblers to some decent spirals. Then this past weekend, the impossible happened, I bowled 2 games pain-free with a 14lb ball. We made it all happen! Today was my last day of physical therapy, and while I'm ecstatic with my progress, I'm actually a little sad. I'm going to miss this team. They're really great people and did a fantastic job for me. I can only hope that this review will encourage others in need of physical therapy to reach out and give them a chance to help.

Fantastic experience: When I walked in there, I was still limited in my ability to walk and my neck was in pain with limited motion. I will never be the same but I am much more functional. They did a good job working with my insurance to keep therapy going.

Positive experience: I had a positive experience during my treatment at Emery Physical Therapy. Jen and Fred treated my right hand sports injury. Now I am back and playing badminton. Also front desk staff were courteous during my appointment schedule.

Fantastic experience: Great place a coworker recommend, Jennifer and her team of experts help me overcome the back pain I had. They are very professional, great location close to work. They provide you an app where exercises are provided for you to follow outside of therapy. This place is like no other physical therapy I have received in the past. They are very hands on.

Fantastic experience: I would love to recommend Jennifer as she is definitely a professional who really cares about her patients. I experienced severe headaches, couldn’t sleep, couldn’t work and basically do anything on a daily basis. I’ve seen the neurologist, the acupuncture and etc and no one could help me but her!! After the first session I felt so much better, I was so grateful for her. She definitely knows what she does and everytime makes sure how you feel and it is important for her to help with instant relief! Also, Priya and Jennifer on the front desk are super helpful and super nice. They call insurance for you and get all the details so the whole process is so smooth!! Definitely recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I came to Emery Physical Therapy and found great relief after trying other places and not getting any results. The dry needling released tension in my upper back and shoulder area almost immediately. The physical therapy I received included stretches, exercises, massage and more. Each visit was tailored to fit how I was feeling that day, adding different techniques and modalities to ensure progress. After a few short weeks I was comfortable enough to graduate and continue what I learned in my therapy sessions at home. I am so happy to have found Emery Physical Therapy! Fantastic experience: Emery PT is by far the best PT place I’ve ever been to. When I first started PT, I was in 8/10 average pain everyday and feeling very discouraged. I wasn’t sure what to expect from PT, and I never even wanted to go in the first place. But that all changed when I started care here. I hope describing my experience at Emery will show how they are truly exceptional at what they do. Jenn, first off, knows so much about my particular conditions and has advanced fellowship training in manual therapy. She’s the only therapist I know that has had this sort of specialized training, and her expertise is truly admirable and speaks for itself through my noticeable improvement. She takes the time to explain the purpose behind each exercise, and is so thoughtful in her recommendations and guidance. She’s becoming very well known in this area as “the PT” to go to because of how many patients she has helped with compassion and respect. Furthermore, a really important part of PT, at least to me, is supporting the patient’s spirits and keeping them motivated in their care journey. This was a huge factor for me—I came in discouraged, in a lot pain, and tired of not achieving results. Not only is Jenn stellar in keeping my spirits up each session, but each and every team member at Emery is wonderful—Jennifer, Lorena, Priya, Frederico, and Jennifer (the other one lol). They work together as one in ways you rarely see nowadays. It’s a happy place with a team who cares about you so much. They’re here to share a laugh with me on the good days, and are empathetic and gentle on my hardest days. Each team member exemplifies what it means to care for patients with emotional intelligence and sensitivity. There’s much more I could say about Emery and the fantastic experience I’ve had here. I couldn’t be more thankful to this team for helping me feel better in a multitude of ways.Their teamwork, expertise, and kindness is admirable beyond words, and I will always be grateful to them for all they’ve done for me. Fantastic experience: Emery Physical Therapy is an outstanding clinic in the NW suburbs of Chicago. As an 83 year old woman, I’ve had PT at least 6 times over the years. Finding PT Jen Laube and staff at Emery was my lucky day. Jen and her associates ( PTA Frederico) were professional, caring and friendly to a new client. Jen’s accurate diagnosis of my shoulder problem made my treatment and recovery so much easier. Exercises for me were explained and monitored, unlike some clinics I encountered. My pain level was evaluated in each session and became less and less as my shoulder motion improved. I am grateful to the fine Emery PT staff and will certainly use them again, if needed. Fantastic experience: This is my second time coming to Emery for therapy. I have also recommended many people to try Emery. It’s a smaller facility which gives you more concentrated care and attention unlike some of these other larger facilities where it’s treat them and street them. They care about there patients never force you to do something your not comfortable with or that hurts. They will push you to push yourself to get better. Unlike other places I have tried and left and never will return to. I have had all the therapists help me but Jennifer is my main therapist because of the way I was treated by her and the others has made me return again and refer them. I can’t thank them enough for getting me back on feet. Great people who CARE.

Fantastic experience: I went to Emery Physical after a car accident. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with the team and I felt my therapy was very well managed. My therapist, Jennifer, was knowledgeable and engaging. She took time to listen and understand my needs. Her program for me was carefully designed and I began feeling improvements from her guidance. The staff is also very personable and attentive. Conversations with the the staff, including Samir and Orville, made the sessions go by smoothly. They always made it a point to make the sessions as productive as possible while making you feel like the center of their focus. Finally, one of the trickiest parts to PT is making a schedule that works. Nikki was great at working with me to make sure I had appointments that suited my calendar. Even when I had to move things last minute, Nikki was able to make adjustments while maintaining a courteous and professional attitude. While I hope that no one ever is every involved in a car accident, I would recommend Emery Physical for PT needs should the occasion arise.

Fantastic experience: Where to begin. This facility has attentive and caring staff. My injury had me setup for therapy for about 2 months. The results from where I began, to where I am now is nothing short of amazing. Nikki was the first person I met, and she was always there to answer my questions, help me out with therapy exercises and schedule my appointments based on my scheduling needs. I also met Orville and he did a great job assisting the physical therapist and making sure I did exercises properly and safely. And than there was Jen! She was a blast to do therapy with. She always had a positive attitude, and always made sure I was making gains. She was very good at relieving my pain and tailoring a program that was beneficial during therapy and after therapy. Fantastic experience: Wow this place is fantastic. I've been to two other physical therapy facilities in the past and they pale by comparison. These people are by far the most knowledgeable therapists I've been to. They communicate what they are doing andwhy with great clarity and this is the best I felt since I stated my new job last December. I really appreciate their skill and efforts.

Fantastic experience: I had calcaneus fracture. It was very complicated and my leg had lot of bruises and swelling. Dr. Philip and Nikki treated me very well. I am on my feet in just 7 months. Thanks to them. Good response and good staff. Took care of me nicely. Highly recommend their service.

Fantastic experience: Phil has excellent care. He genuinely wants to see you get better and progress toward getting back healthy and pain free. He has all the tools and knowledge to handle any problem. He offers Dry Needling service which is a step above the rest. I’ve seen multiple strides since I’ve been apart of program.

Fantastic experience: I've been in physical therapy with Phil 4 times over several years with back, neck and shoulder issues. He and his assistant, Marilyn, are compassionate, knowledgeable and spot on regarding treating me for the immediate pain through proper exercise, massage, and other modalities at the faculty and with a comprehensive home program. The home programs set me up for a speedier recovery and continuation of those have allowed me to build up the strength and stretching properly so I would not have to see him. I was in a pain clinic and now have no need for shots or drugs on a regular basis due to his expert care and attention to detail as well as listening to my stories.

Fantastic experience: This place was recommended to me by doctor so I was willing to drive a little further that I would have liked. I'm glad I did. The staff is great and helpful and the therapist spent more time with me that any other place I have been to. They regularly updated my exercises which I could view on their app with my phone and I continue to use it even now, months later. I just wish they had Saturday hours. But overall, I was very satisfied.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Emery Physical Therapy for severe neck and back pain and all I can say is Phil, the physical therapist, is amazing! He is very knowledgeable and skilled at his work. He takes the time to explain the problem and will treat you one on one. He is very hands on but also taught me exercises and stretches to do at home. I also went to see him in the past for sciatic nerve pain. I had a trip planned and thought there’d be no way I’d be able to sit on that plane, but Phil had me pain free through stretching message and exercises within 2 visits! His staff is also amazing. Nikki and Marilyn are friendly and well organized, and will work with your schedule when making appointments. You can tell they are a team who really cares about their patients.
