Fantastic experience: My name is Aristides Chicas, and I’m so happy to receive therapy with Atlético Prospect high, this place is amazing the people are so friendly, Jessica Betancourt, Kristen, Terrence the clinic manager everybody is so nice , respectful, punctual, and they listen to you, I’m so happy, if one day I need more therapy I’m not going to think to much to go back to this place, I recommend 100% love it.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding staff and care. Easy to schedule appointments and staff is professional and personable. They truly care about your progress to achieve ‘your’ goals and explain the ‘what’ and ‘why’ of your personalized exercise program. Both therapists, Terrence and Kristen, are great and good listeners. Jessica at the front desk is a hoot and their assistants are engaging as well. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Staff is warm and personal! Jessica greets everyone with a warm smile and a big greeting! Brooke and Ivana are friendly and make doing the rehab exercises less torturous and boring. All 3 therapists (Terrence, Neal & Kristen) even though they are not working with me, inquire how I am doing. I was able to get thru several months of PT for rotator cuff tears with all of their support.

Fantastic experience: I had an incredible experience with the Athletico team in Prospect Heights. Jessica was very accommodating when it came to scheduling and rescheduling appointments. Terrence provided excellent care and executed a great game plan for my recovery. He challenged me to do my best while also making the recovery journey fun and enjoyable. Everyone made me feel welcomed and treated me like I was a part of the family.

Fantastic experience: Very happy and impressed with the whole physical therapy idea. Had my doubts when I first started the course. But after a few sessions working with Terrance its was most encouraging. He was very concerned with your special needs. If you need physical therapy, this is the place to go to. Fantastic experience: I very highly recommend this Prospect Heights Athletico for all your physical therapy needs. They are very friendly, courteous, attentive, and professional: from the receptionist Jessica, who greets everyone with a welcoming smile and hello, the PT assistance, and the PT’s themselves. Fantastic experience: Extremely pleased with the Prospect Height’s AthleticoTeam and the Facility. Everyone is both Professional and a Pleasure to interact with. I was 100% comfortable from the moment I entered on my first visit. In my research, I reached out to several similar facilities. This facility got back fastest and Jessica (front desk) was ready to create a specific visit schedule spanning two months with a highly qualified Physical Therapist (Terrence Justiniani). Terrence was Great. He listened. He explained. He created a Plan. He followed through. I was pleased that there were several other Physical Therapists that were also outstanding based upon my observations. While I hope never to return, if I have an injury, I will request this specific Athletico facility due to my Outstanding experience. Hope this Review will help someone who is just trying to find the best facility for Physical Therapy. Life is Good

Fantastic experience: I have been using for Terrence for different problems for about seven years. This time around it was to help with mobility in both my shoulders. My first time using him I had just had surgery for a crushed humerus and he helped regain strength and mobility in that arm. Presently I have arthritis in both shoulders and he has again gotten mobility back for me. Last year I had a leg issue that he was the one to correctly diagnose my problem which the orthopedic dr did not! I am so grateful for everything he has done for me. Oh, he also treated my vertigo maybe 4 years ago! Can’t say enough about him - a great therapist!

Fantastic experience: My experience @ Athletico rehab in Prospect Hts. Has been ongoing for 5 mins. 2x weekly. I’ve been down and in pain for days. From the time I walk in the door Jessica there to greet me with a big smile and happiness that changes me instantly. I’m always welcomed like family from all the staff Kristen takes over with a soft voice and great hands to work out my shoulders to heal. Thank you to the Great Team @Athletico

Fantastic experience: Both the therapists at this location- Terrence and Neil are amazing. They know exactly what they’re doing and have helped me a lot with my injuries over the last year. My back and ankle were in pretty bad shape and it is such a relief to not have to deal with it anymore. I am really grateful. The staff is also super friendly, so that’s a bonus

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this branch of Athletico! From the first phone call to my last PT session, the whole Prospect Heights staff has been extremely helpful and friendly. Terrence is a wealth of knowledge and compassion when it came to helping with back pain during my postpartum recovery. Each session, I was greeted with smiling faces (even with masks on) and was made to feel very comfortable. The aides and other staff were also very friendly and helpful. I actually looked forward to my PT days and to be part of this little family for a few weeks. If you need PT for any reason, you couldn’t find a better place to go!

Fantastic experience: This location has the absolute best staff to work with. Jessica always greets you with a smile and positive attitude to get your PT session started on the right foot. I've done physical therapy here twice and both times I've worked with Terrance who is an excellent trainer. He's the type of trainer who is extremely personable and easy going but will push you to achieve your PT goals while you're there. I've also had positive experiences with Neal in a few sessions. That said everyone at this location is a delight to be around and anyone you work with is going to be fantastic. If you're looking to rehab and injury or work with someone to help you meet your physical therapy goals, this location can't be beat.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Athletico for many years. When my therapist Terrance changed locations I followed him there. Terrance is awesome! Everyone there are so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this location.

Fantastic experience: You know when you go to the doctor with pain and they just throw a bunch of medicines at you? Well this is not the case with Athletico, Prospect Heights. The physical therapists here listen to your issues and work out a course of action. They are not afraid to change courses if what they are doing is not working. In addition to the personal and friendly attention you get at the facility, they assign you exercises to do at home in between visits in order to progress your healing. I am currently working with Terrence but Neal walked in and knew me by name even though it had been 2 years since I had been there. Assistants Liz and Ivana are also very professional and knowledgeable. I feel very comfortable in their care. I would recommend Athletico in Prospect Heights to anybody, in fact I already have!

Fantastic experience: This is a great place to get your physical therapy care! The facility is easy to get in and out of, the staff are very knowledgeable and caring, and they are taking good COVID-19 precautions. I came in with two different injuries and Neal was great with making sure the different exercises I was doing were not causing any discomfort or pain. After just 2-3 sessions I was already experiencing significant improvements in my strength and mobility! They also did a good job scheduling me to work with the same physical therapist and let me know weeks in advance when I would be with someone else.

Fantastic experience: This Therapy Department is well equipped with knowledgeable staff, treatment approaches, great parking, a good location, a variety of music to perk us up, and good hours of availability for appointments. :). All the wonderful staff members make you feel welcome, respected, assisted with appointments, claims, scheduling in advance, and communication to reduce your concerns often often due to "the fear of the unknown future". Terrance is a great supervisor and was my excellent primary therapist , facilitating communication and ongoing education of his staff. He is able to observe the activity in the open concept gym (along with private treatment rooms being available as appropriate) and mentors his team with respect and support. Observing over the weeks, patients performed individualized and creative approaches in their sessions-not a cookie cutter approach. Neal, and Alex have also been very professional. The Techs are well oriented, are provided with 1:1 therapist in view direction to support the patient exercises at times. The office manager has been very organized and cheerful.. Regarding treatment... its been awesome! My primary concern was pain initially along with loss of range of motion, strength, and balance at times. Various approaches over the weeks resolved it with medications (for just the beginning) so I could perform the movement necessary to progress without limiting symptoms. In addition manual skills and thermal modalities, lots of stretching with focus on target areas by the therapist helped my symetry. Pain management allowed me to continue my home exercise program with upgrades, and now it is negligible without any medication. Another blessing has been to also have a specialist (Judy) design a work hardening program simulating my work skills which has boosted my ability and confidence. I committed 5x week to work on stretching, cardio, body mechanics and ROM/strengthening exercises included each day. I am 95% there and we all anticipate a full recovery with increased safety in the next week or so! At first I wondered if I would ever be able to function the way I did before but now I know God found a way to make me feel 25 years younger. I would have never regained my posture and full function without this help. My family is thrilled. Don't hesitate if you need care, you can get results if you do your part and stick to it! With deep gratitude the Athletico, I wish you all the best.

Fantastic experience: I am really grateful that I found AthletiCo in Prospect Heights. After researching and reading reviews I chose to do my physical therapy with them, post lower back surgery. I was in great hands all along. Terrance and the staff at this location are wonderful, patient and caring in every way. They were very accommodating, well organized and encouraging. I was so worried when I walked in for my appointment that first day but Terrance took the time to listen and educate me on how to get better. Once I graduated he was sure to go over everything and remind me that they’d be happy to help again or answer any concerns I have going forward. I would HIGHLY recommend this AthletiCo.

Fantastic experience: After having knee replacement surgery at Rush I had my physical therapy at Athletico Prospect Heights. It was my very good fortune to work with Neal Volante. He was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Neal explained all the exercises and their benefits. As we worked on my knee we conversed on a lot of subjects which made my sessions fly by. Now after my last therapy I can thank Neal my new knee is in great condition.

Fantastic experience: A heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to Terrence, Alex and the entire team at the Prospect Heights, Athletico! The wonderful care and attention that you all gave me is beyond measure. I am so appreciative and grateful to have found you! 13 years ago, I broke my arm in a biking accident. Over the years I experienced limited mobility in my shoulder and I was in a lot of pain. I started physical therapy with Alex and within the first 2 weeks I was seeing results that I never dreamt possible. Alex then moved to another Athletico location and Terrence became my primary therapist. Terrence is amazing - he was kind, gentle and very dedicated to my well-being and progress. He was encouraging and provided me with exercises that helped me greatly improve along the way. These are top notch people who really do care about you! I’d highly recommend this Athletico if you are looking for help. They take extra care to clean all of the equipment between patients and everything is very well organized.

Terrence and Neal explained to me what they suspect is going on with my left lateral foot pain, and made me feel comfortable at the same time. Fantastic experience: I recently had 6 weeks of PT at this location. Great location with plenty of parking. Facility is kept very clean. The staff is amazing. They truly care about you and work to accommodate your schedule. My therapist was Terrence. He’s an awesome listener and helped me to rehab my knee. I also appreciate all the scheduling help from Miranda as well as her decorating skills making the place a fun place to go to.

Fantastic experience: I heard Athletico had a free evaluation from a friend so I decided to check it out as I had a recent shoulder injury and some stuff with my wrist. I was very nervous going in but Terrence and Miranda were awesome. They were so easy to talk to, so understanding and very helpful. The consultation with Terrence made me feel a lot better and he was great. Anyone needing any physical therapy should definitely come here they will take good care of you. Very good people. Will be coming back here for sure.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Athletico Prospect Heights. Had a good experience in the fall of 2020 with lower extremity strengthening so when I needed to go for hip replacement in March of this year I wanted Terrence to be my therapist to guide me thru my recovery!. The staff here is great, friendly and they create a comfortable atmosphere for anyone who comes, besides getting good results with their therapy

Fantastic experience: I am so appreciative of the entire team at Athletico in Prospect Heights. Neal, Natalie, Jon and Terence were all wonderful and helpful in my treatment plan. From the simplicity of scheduling, and sometimes rescheduling (Jon and Natalie), to helping me keep track of my count or minutes, the team atmosphere was fantastic! Neal was my main therapist, though Terence did my intake and a couple of sessions. They were both 100% on target with understanding my goals, my pain, my desire to get back to running/lifting/workout classes and my everyday crazy life. The slowed me down when needed, pushed me where necessary and often corrected my form. I appreciate that they truly got to know me and knew to PRINT exercises to help keep me on track. Even aside from the deep knowledge of the body and compassion for the soul/person, I was impressed with how this Athletico felt like a 'home' with a family feel. Thank you, especially to Neal, for the incredible support and for making therapy so FUN! I highly recommend this location and am so appreciative of the personalized care and treatment I received.

Fantastic experience: Athletico Prospect Heights is a excellent run physical therapy clinic. From the first contact with Jan and getting all set with my appointments, to Terrence doing the evaluation on my 3 months of knee pain, and to Natalie who is working with the team. They are ALL VERY CARING!! Now after 3 weeks of my appointments, I am feeling better thanks to the treatments and exercises that Terrance is working through with me. The excellent communications and teamwork amongst the staff is outstanding!! I highly recommend this group of great people. I trust them with my health, which, now a days, is saying a lot!! UPDATE: after completing the 5 weeks of PT in the office, I am at 95% pain free and the movement of my knee is better than any time in the last 4 months. NOW, with the at home exercises I was provide I am looking forward to 100% relief. Goal is to be there in 4 more weeks. THANKS to Terrence

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about this Athletico in Prospect Heights. First of all, it is squeaky clean. Everyone is wearing masks and I felt perfectly safe. Terrence, the site manager, is also my therapist and he is the absolute best physical therapist I have ever worked with. He is all about care of the patient, and checks to make sure you are doing the exercises correctly so that you don’t make your injuries worse. He also educates you about your injury and shows you maintenance routines so that it would not happen again. Neal, Jon, and the rest of the crew are equally devoted to patient care. We are very lucky to have this group right here in the neighborhood.

Fantastic experience: My mother is 83 years and is not a big believer of physical therapy, but with back pain and body balance she has had for many years. I convinced her to go see Terrence for a few days. Two months into it she is feeling so good and her balance is so much better. I don't know if she is now I believe but I do know that she believes in Terrence! He has done a amazing job and thank you for making my feel comfortable and painless.

Fantastic experience: As a result of a shoulder surgery, I ended up with a nerve injury that could take a year or more to heal. I've been with Athletico in Prospect Heights for 9 months and feel like part of their family. Their staff is extremely caring, educated, kind and humerous, and they work me hard, as they know that's what I need to improve. They also provide an at-home exercise regimine and update it as needed as I move along through my recovery process. I highly recommend this location, as they're not overly crowded like other competitors I've seen, so you'll get the time and attention you deserve and are paying for from your therapist, as well as the assistants. In addition, the scheduling process is painless, as they're flexible and their hours of operations should fit just about everyone's needs. When I'm healed, I'm truly going to miss seeing Reena, Brad, Jan, Natalie, Liz, Miranda, Abby and previously, Oscar, on a regular basis. Thanks, Athletico of Prospect Heights! :)

Fantastic experience: My experience was very positive at this Athletico. facility in Prospect Heights. I came here two years in a row for Physical Therapy after having a knee replacement each year and just completed my last session today. The manager, Brad Powell, who was my Physical Therapist, Rena Thomas, the other Physical Therapist along with the Office Coordinator and the rest of the staff are knowledgeable, caring and personable. It was easy to get appointments to fit my schedule and I never felt rushed when i was there getting my treatments. You will be treated with respect and be among friendly people. The main purpose is to receive quality physical therapy, which you will here, so you can get back to your normal life and daily routines. It is also important to be in a caring and friendly environment. You may have to be there for 6 or more weeks and you want a positive experience so you look forward to going back for each session. You will receive encouragement from your therapist and staff at this location. You can always get answers to your questions and helpful hints for additional exercises to do at home. You want to feel good about your journey and since you will be spending a lot of time at a facility you want to make sure it is at a location that you can look forward to going back to each time and Athletico in Prospect Heights is the place.

Fantastic experience: Never had Physical Therapy before so didn't know what to expect. I'm glad this location is so close to home but even better yet is the staff. Terrence has done an amazing job so far on my shoulder and arm pain that I've been experiencing due to a Cervical Rib. I will continue coming here and highly recommend them!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Athletico in Prospect Heights off and on for about five years for various orthopedic surgeries. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional…especially Brad Powell, the lead therapist. The most poignant word to describe my participation at Athletico is trust. They certainly provide that. When I’m asked to do an exercise, and there are plenty of them, I do it knowing that it is in the best interest in my healing program. Brad and his staff make me feel comfortable in the knowledge that they are looking out for my well-being and long range recovery.
