Founded in 1999, SEPTTM Physical Therapy is an outpatient physical therapy practice owned locally by a physical therapist. We lead the way in sports rehab and physical therapy, treating orthopedic, muscular, bone and joint injuries, ailments and pain. Whether it is a sprain or post-operative repair, we have the experience and expertise to help you achieve the results you deserve.

SEPTTM Physical Therapy works with all provider networks and welcomes walk-ins. All major insurances are accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid. With 9 outpatient locations and over 20 Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants, we will provide you with the care and attention you need and the convenience of a clinic near you.

Our staff is proud of our long-term commitment and service to Buncombe County, Haywood County, Henderson County and the surrounding areas. We look forward to partnering with you in your wellness journey.

People first. Our patient needs are our #1 priority. As such, we remained open for patients in need throughout the COVID pandemic, both in-person and telehealth.

Openness and Transparency. We believe an educated consumer is our best patient and we encourage open communication between patient and therapist. Each plan of care is developed through a combination of proven best-practices and the unique needs expressed by the patient.

Treat people like family. Our team supports and encourages each other. We have long-term patient relationships going back decades, with care of grandparents, parents, and children. We genuinely care about our patients, their families, each other, and our community.

Our physical therapists design treatment plans specific to each person’s needs, challenges, and goals, regardless of age. While we offer many treatment options, post-operative therapy is a strong focus. After surgery, your tissues, muscles and bones go through a period of healing. Often, limiting mobility during recovery can reduce range of motion, flexibility and functionality. Post-operative physical therapy encourages your body to heal through specific exercises ideal for each phase of your recovery.

Julie is very knowledgeable and experienced. Her analysis of my injury and physical condition was spot on, and it was immediately apparent that she knew to be careful in approaching the kinds and manner of exercises to assist without causing additional issues. (My doctor warned me about potentially aggravating my condition, and due to sports injuries in my youth and my upper 70’s age I have been around a lot of doctors and therapists.) Not only was Julie phenomenal, the entire staff was helpful and welcoming. I recommend them highly.

Fantastic experience: The entire experience was wonderful ! The therapist was delightful, knowledgeable and professional. She explained my condition and walked me through all the exercises that will help me. She also provided a worksheet with exercises to do at home with an instructional website. I highly recommend this facility !

Fantastic experience: SEPT Biltmore is awesome! Dr. Clara Stroud is amazing to work with. She is super knowledgeable and very patient. She pays special attention to ensure my stretches and exercises aren’t hurting and she adapts as needed. I’ve really enjoyed working with her! I also love Jordan, the assistant, who has a fun personality and can make me laugh during a hard exercise. They’re a great team.

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but great things to say about Christine and her staff at SEPT-Biltmore! They are kind from the moment you walk in the door and offer a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for everyone I've seen. They work very closely to achieving your goals without being over-bearing and keep you informed each step of the way of that progress. Fantastic experience: Christine has been so amazing. I really appreciate her attention to detail by laying out a personal plan for my recovery. Her handouts for my treatments are easy to follow and very effective. It would be most important to also mention her compassion as she is so aware of the struggles her patients face as she tailors her treatments to achieve success in the recovery process. In my opinion Christine is a rock star and words can not express how much I appreciate her efforts to help me achieve and succeed my goals.

Fantastic experience: Christine at Southeastern Physical Therapy was great to work with. I had TMJ problems-- my mouth locked up, then wouldn’t open very wide. Christine listened to my concerns and was excellent as far as Covid precautions. She gave me exercises and stretches to do at home, which I did. She also used a tool on the problem area to massage along my face—this also helped tremendously. I like how well she communicated and the way she answered my questions. Also really helpful were the printouts with steps on exercises or stretches we had gone over. I would get home and not be sure how she’d had me do something, but the printouts reminded me. One time when I emailed with a question, she responded, then also called to make certain my question was fully answered and I understood. I highly recommend Christine at Southeastern Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I went to the site in Biltmore and it was great - very COVID-friendly, with just a few people in the large building at a time. Christine Dana is a wonderful PT, making sure that you understand what is going on and what she is working with you to address. She's seen three generations of my family now (I'm the youngest and have no excuse), and remembers everyone's name, she makes exercises fun and easy to remember, and she is constantly looking for ways to work with you given the constraints of your budget, abilities, and environment. It was wonderful and I am glad to be back on my feet!

Fantastic experience: Christine is amazing to work with. I truly appreciate the dedicated time and attention with each visit. Plus the icing machine and tens therapy after the session is the bomb diggity. Highly recommend.
