Physical Therapy, Wellness, and Energy Work in the greater Asheville area. At Restorative PT, I take an integrated and holistic approach to optimizing your overall health and wellbeing.
You won’t be stuck doing exercises by yourself that you could be doing on your own at home. Nor will you feel like you’re running through a physical therapy mill, only getting to spend a few minutes with your therapist before being handed off to someone else.
We offer creative ways to modify your activities while you heal so that you can continue to be active and avoid re-injury during rehab. All the while, we empower you to be part of your own rehabilitation process through prescribed exercises between visits to our clinic.
We can help if you’re in pain, have recently had or are contemplating surgery, are an injured athlete, or simply want to optimize your physical health. You do not have to live with pain, movement limitations, functional restrictions, or feeling that you’re losing a step as you age. Restorative PT in Asheville can help get you back on track.
Hands-on treatment to address trigger points, inflammation, and soft tissue restrictions for increased healing and improvements in mobility and strength

Restorative PT Inc.: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Tricia helped me through some of the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. I had a herniated disc in my neck and she worked with me for 6 weeks to get me pain-free and on the way to a full recovery.
Fantastic experience: Tricia Renshaw is an amazing physical therapist. She has a deep understanding of what is needed to address pain and facilitate healing. Her toolbox of offerings spans several specialties from traditional body work to the Neubie. Frequently, she addresses muscle tension that can lead to neck pain and headaches for me if left unaddressed. I am thankful for the PT she provides.
Fantastic experience: Tricia has been wonderful. I came to her with knees so sore I couldn’t walk up stairs. I have inoperable torn meniscus. I also have a deteriorating hip. After 4 months of twice weekly sessions I was nearly pain free. I also went on an anti inflammatory diet. No medication. I go back occasionally to review the exercises that she has me do. She is thorough, gentle and professional. I highly recommend her services.
Fantastic experience: Let me begin by saying, finding Tricia at Restorative PT has improved my life significantly! I had a total knee replacement in September, 2021. Although I completed physical therapy at another place, I was never able to get full range of motion in my knee. I was stuck at 90 degrees, when the goal was 120 degrees. The PT was baffled, as was my surgeon. I could complete the prescribed exercises, showing them I had the strength to bend my knee further, but it just stayed stuck. I continued the exercise routine on my own after being released from PT at the end of December. My knee remained stiff, and both my legs hurt all the time. I’m suspect my gait was impacting both legs. A couple of months I met Tricia at the Pilates studio I attend. I immediately felt comfortable with her, and decided to see if she could help me. My progress after just a few appointments has been phenomenal! My range of motion has gone to 113 degrees, and my leg pain has decreased significantly. Tricia combined technology, scientific knowledge and intuition to help me. She listens to my concerns and addresses them each time we meet. She’s also fun to work with. In addition, I am provided with an online portal where she provides instructions and videos for at home exercises. They are easy to follow and keep me on track between appointments. I highly recommend Tricia and am grateful for what she had done for me.
Fantastic experience: Tricia is an *exceptional* physical therapist. From our first appointment, it was clear to me that she has a deep knowledge of the body and a love for the craft of physical therapy. Every time we meet, she answers all of my questions and reassesses my progress so that we can make the best use of our time. In just a few months, she has helped me to make noticeable progress with my ankle health and stability. Tricia is easily the best physical therapist I have worked with, and I would recommend her without hesitation.
Fantastic experience: Tricia was compassionate, attentive, and gave me such detailed information about my gait and range of motion. From my experience, Tricia offers so much more than the standard PT experience. She was a huge part of helping get from injured to running again! Thank you, Tricia!
Fantastic experience: I had hip replacement surgery almost three months ago. Thanks to Tricia my post surgery recovery has progressed really well. Her skill and thoroughness have help accelerate the mobility and strength of my hip to almost back to normal. Very conscientious . I enthusiastically recommend Tricia.
