We treat all physical therapy injuries and accept most insurances. Our specialties include Sports Therapy, Women's Health, Concussion Management, and Vestibular Therapy.
Outpatient Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation has been serving people in the South King County for over 40 years. We have clinics located in Auburn, Covington, Kent’s East Hill, Kent Valley, Maple Valley, Puyallup, and Renton.
We believe that you deserve to receive the highest level of personalized therapy services that can be provided by this profession. Many of our therapists have attained advanced board certifications to promote this higher level of quality care. These certifications range from Certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Sports Certified Specialist (SCS), and some are progressing in their Fellowship of American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). These advanced certifications are challenging to achieve and maintain in this profession.
Not many companies talk about their billing and administrative departments, however, ours has been recognized by a national group for processing insurance claims in a timely manner and with minimal number of errors. These attributes of our therapists and administrative departments translate into fewer visits with less insurance and billing problems for you.
At Outpatient Physical Therapy, patients see licensed professionals and receive one-on-one care for over 60 minutes every visit. This philosophy helps our patients have a positive rehab experience and has given OPT a solid reputation in our community and with our referring physicians
You may have chronic back pain from your job, or you may have just had surgery on your shoulder as a result of an on-the-job injury. Your Physical Therapist will work with you one-on-one each visit to carry out a rehabilitation program that is tailored to your specific condition and job requirements. Treatment may include hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, body mechanics instruction and pain-relieving modalities.
Our massage therapists voted the “Best of Maple Valley & Covington” use a technique that is different from most. We offer Treatment Massage, which focuses specifically on treating the area that is injured.
Our goal is to decrease your symptoms by 50% within the first 4 visits. Treatment massage works on getting the muscles to relax, & then stretched while PT strengthens the injured muscles and those around it, in order to prevent reoccurring injury.
Benefits of Aquatic Therapy include; increasing flexibility and joint mobility, facilitating proper body mechanics, strengthening muscles, improving balance and agility, and reducing joint swelling and pain. When doing Aquatic Therapy, we will develop an individualized program utilizing buoyancy and resistance of water to provide a workout in a low-impact, low-stress environment.
Throughout life, a woman’s body experiences changes and not all of them are comfortable. At Outpatient Physical Therapy our Women’s Health therapists understand female-specific concerns and offer a comprehensive evaluation and full range of physical therapy and therapeutic massage to help.

Frequent falling can be a symptom of many different issues. Our physical therapists can evaluate your condition and recommend the correct course of action. The OPT Fall Prevention program is a service offered all six OPT clinics that provide comprehensive fall risk assessment and treatment for patients who have fallen or who are at risk for falling. Falls are not a normal part of aging. Falls can get more serious over time, but the risks can be reduced by working on all the possible causes. We should be able to help you to avoid falls.
Working from home can be challenging for many reasons. We can help! Our ergonomic specialist designs/ modifies the work space to fit the worker, not the other way around. The goal is to eliminate discomfort and risk of injury due to work. We offer virtual and in-clinic consultations!
Our extraordinary team of Sports Medicine Physicians, Physical Therapists and Trainers will evaluate and develop a personalized return-to-sport plan. We treat all athletes all levels.
" I just had the opportunity to do a telehealth appointment with my physical therapist Jessica. I have to say it went smoothly and was easy to setup. To get ready for my appointment I just set my laptop on the floor: propped it against the wall, launched my email, opened the email from Jessica, and clicked on Microsoft Team Meetings link as instructed. About 5 minutes later Jessica was smiling at me on the screen. Jessica was able to then talk me through new exercises while also demonstrating herself. I would then replicate the same exercises on the floor and she would provide feedback. Pretty much just like being at their office. I am so happy that Outpatient Physical Therapy gave me this telehealth option and highly recommend their services. "

Fantastic experience: My experience with O.P.T. exceeded my expectations. I had heard horror stories about physical therapy, but the reality for me was just the opposite. Megan, Jason, and Jennifer were always knowledgeable and professional, yet friendly and engaging. I felt like they listened to what I had to say, provided thoughtful feedback to my questions, and were always one step ahead of me in the process of "thawing" my frozen shoulder. I was very impressed with the program, and appreciated the explanation of exercises. I received the same professional treatment when I needed massage therapy for pulled muscle. Fantastic experience: I started Out Patient therapy about 2 months ago for a shoulder replacement. Although everybody there was accomadating and pleasant to me, my main therapist, a Jason Nash was a hoot and turned what was a 5 month recovery into 2 months! So impressed by him and the entire establishment. I would encourage anybody to book an appointment today!

Fantastic experience: I started in November to treat chronic knee and foot pain and am thrilled to say the progress I made in 4 months is remarkable! Dr. Michael Huffington assessed my condition and prescribed the right therapy exercises, clearly explaining the rationale and approach along the way. My lower body is now stronger, more flexible, better balanced, and I am able to return to my activities with more performance and much less pain. I can highly recommend this facility and Dr. Huffington in particular! Great results! 5 stars well earned and deserved!
Fantastic experience: Massage therapist Sherese Anderson is amazing! I have used her for year to ‘fix’ issues I have from my very physical job. She is skilled in many techniques and is a huge proponent of working with other treatment types to resolve issues. I feel fortunate to have her on my side battling the effects of time!

Fantastic experience: I have pretty bad vertigo and it’s bothered me for years. I went through one treatment and I was 95% better and by the second I felt 100%. Sol is so attentive and caring. For years, I didn’t even know there was treatment but Sol didn’t just brush off any of my concerns and took everything I said seriously. I recommend anyone suffering from vertigo to go see Sol Kryder!

I’ve been coming here since I injured my back at work on 01/29/2018. everyone there is very polite, and easy to work with, and they’re also very knowledgeable in each of their specific skills. I still continue to go here and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Fantastic experience: When I was in pain due to an injury I was pessimistic about going to PT, but I changed my mind after being impressed with the quality of my care and the amazing people that work at the Auburn office. They are clear in their instructions on the "homework" exercises I needed to do and why I was doing it. Although I was in pain, I kept doing the exercises and now I can say I'm pain-free!!!! I returned several months later after a different injury and once again loved the quality of care. Both times I have successfully recovered and learned life-long exercises and changes I wish I had known earlier. Highly recommend their great team that worked together seamlessly to help me and ensured I laughed along the way!

Fantastic experience: I find this clinic to be clean, and a friendly atmosphere. The therapists were monumental in getting my husband back to work. I have just started seeing them and already experiencing some small successes. The therapists may not have all the answers but they are willing to do research to help their clients. I both appreciate and respect that.
Fantastic experience: This is the second time I’ve been treated by Scott and Evie at outpatient physical therapy. First, for almost a whole year after having for my ACL reconstruction. They are both incredible and fantastic. The clinic is constantly trying to improve. Both Evie and Scott are very knowledgeable, and they focus on exactly what I need to get better, get strong and be able to return to my normal sports and activity. I highly Recommend these guys
