Empower Physical Therapy: Avondale

Fantastic experience: I got to do my therapy at this facility after tearing my bicep tendon. Karie Wilson was my therapist. She was awesome as was all of the staff in the facility. I felt very comfortable and i also felt like I was listened to. The facility was very clean and well organized. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly. I highly recommend this facility for your therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: I went to Physicians Physical Therapy for my lower back pain and sciatic pain. Matt Fryberger was my therapist (MPT). Matt has done more for me then my pain management doctors that I was seeing for the past four years. After numerous procedures, injections and pain meds, my pain management doctors still didn't get me out of pain. It was 5 weeks of physical therapy and my awesome MPT Matt, that got me out of pain. Not only did Matt get me out of pain, but he went over and beyond by curing my 7 month battle with vertigo, even though I was only there for my back issues. I was so blessed to have him as my therapist. If I need any tune ups or my vertigo comes back, I know where to go and who to see. I can't thank these guys enough, for giving me my life back. :-).

Fantastic experience: Everyone there is very helpful and knows what they are doing in order to get you back to your normal self. I recommend it to anyone that needs therapy to go to Empower Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I was very thankful for Dave taking the time to talk with me and share his knowledge of my situation, helping me to understand that my visit to the ENT Dr. was the best treatment for me.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff are wonderful. David Nelson is in charge of my recovery. Hannah Adamo PTA has done a fantastic job monitoring and evaluating my every stage. She particularly pays attention to my pain with body work that lowers my level by two. The whole staff works together, and if one is busy another member steps in to help. Most impressive is the cleanliness and constant disinfecting of all apparatus. If I could give more praise, I would for all tjer help in my recovery. Thank You.

Fantastic experience: I didn’t know what to expect. I just knew my mom fell, hurt her shoulder, and needed profesional help. I was not only pleasantly surprised but wowed by the whole experience. Starting with the kindest front office staff to knowledgeable professionals in the back. Angel and David were great! I highly recommend this place. My mom also speaks only Spanish and everyone was accommodating and able to communication with her or get someone that could. She was actually happy to come in today and that is the biggest praise. I’m glad our PCP sent us here.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to them for a while now - pre and post amputation. They are extremely professional but friendly, not afraid to laugh and joke with you and ask about your day. I will always recommend them to anyone looking for PT.

Fantastic experience: From the front desk staff to the Hanna and David, I've been able get the PT I need. Apparently I got old and needed to start working out in ways I had never worked out before. This has helped return my ability to run and roller blade and begin to build up my mileage as I talk through things with them as my challenges change and I continue to face evolving challenges. Grateful for their adaption from the original complaint to getting me to reach my goal of running 3.5 miles again and I'll take things forward from here...

Fantastic experience: This is the first review I have ever left, but it felt necessary! Everyone in this office is always on schedule, friendly, and willing to help! Seriously, I’ve gone 30+ times, and have never had one negative interaction with anyone in this facility. They made recovery fun & I am forever thankful! Would 100% recommend. If I ever need physical therapy again, I will be returning.

Fantastic experience: Amazing group of people, professional and friendly. You have to do the work and push yourself with their plans, may take time and they are there to guide you all the way through. They helped me out with a pinched nerve from my hip to my calf, back to my old self moving around without any pain. I truly appreciate these individuals and would definitely return if needed.

Fantastic experience: I have 5months attending Therapy for my Plantar fasciitis they have help me more then my Foot doctor of 1year .I was so much in pain when I first started now I can do my daily routine. I can truly say am not in alot of pain like I used to be I feel amazing everytime I have Therapy. There staff are all professional there all friendly .Andrew and Chris are awesome I will recommend them to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I've just completed my 2nd visit at the Avondale Empower Physical Therapy location and I absolutely love the staff here! I'm recovering from a bucket handle lateral meniscus tear. The staff is friendly/kind and the location is very clean and provides a great atmosphere to come and focus on yourself and your recovery.

Fantastic experience: Our family has been coming here off and on for 20+ years when it was Physicians Physical Therapy. The staff makes each appointment fun that you don’t even know it is therapy. Every staff member is polite and professional. They care about you and your needs and are very compassionate about the work that they do. Kudos to David and his staff Jenny and Cameron for making the atmosphere great. Julia greets you with a smile on her face ever time making it an AWESOME customer service experience. I would highly recommend this place for any and all your therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: I’m writing this after coming here for four months after my knee surgery. I’m so happy I took the time in researching a PT office because this place is honestly a godsend. The entire staff (Julia, Jenny and David) are honestly the most caring and professional people I had the pleasure of being taken care by. They work with you the entire time and ensure that you do the best you can and really push you to be fully healed. This place made me feel very comfortable and welcomed and I’m happy my road to recovery was with this crew. Another note, they do work with Spanish speaking patients and try their hardest to speak to them in Spanish. This honestly was really refreshing to witness and makes me love this place even more. I can not recommend this place enough.

Fantastic experience: My daughter h( Roberta Conway- client) has good experiences with this place. Feels like her pain matters. Works with crazy schedule and they don't hound you because you can't see the therapist as often as needed. They target her most pained places, such as the calf and lower back and uses heat or ice when necessary. Hope they can help with the areas of the neck and shoulders which cause a lot of the migraines. It's great that all you have to do is ask.

Fantastic experience: Place is clean. Staff is personable and kind. I feel so much better only after 2 visits. Everything is explained in detail as to how the exercise I am working on is helping me to recover from my knee replacement.

Fantastic experience: Staff here is very welcoming and kind! Very clean place which is very important to me being that many come in and out daily. David and Cameron have been very patient with some of my limited abilities to the exercises and stretches they are instructing. I believe they will help my little body get back to normal soon. I was listened to and immediately given ways to help improve and get on the road to feeling better. They have extended hours which helps to work around a work schedule, which is a total plus! An update after finishing treatment (more awesome details of this fabulous office on yelp): David is a master of his craft and even after my first visit I was feeling more human. David is personable and relatable. He makes sure that you are challenged into improving on your goals without pushing you too far. He has a great ability to know just what will work to get you feeling human again. Waldo is a great tech who helps you get through your routine, patient of a saint when you forget your hand position on the bands a million times over. You can't go wrong with these two. You will feel welcome, you will laugh, and you will feel a million times better than you thought was possible with this skilled and compassionate team.

Fantastic experience: The staff here at empower pt are very kind, the facility is clean and not alot of people in the back at once. A big thing to me is they are on time. My daughters therapists and technician are knowledgeable they are gentle with her injury and don’t push her if it’s hurting. I recommend empower pt.

Fantastic experience: I've been treated for a back injury and a neck injury including post concussion. Everytime I'm here, the treatment is first class.
