Positive experience: its ok

Fantastic experience: My grandmother had the most uneventful two weeks at Sierraview CC! I can only credit this to the diligent, kind, and caring staff. She even came back a few pounds heavier! My family and I are so grateful to the staff, especially Albert and Jeannett for their help. They really went the extra mile in providing ease of communication and care. Also, this facility is one of the cleanest care centers I have seen and it does not have that typical care center smell. Details such as these gave us the assurance to entrust our grandmother in their care!

Fantastic experience: This place is amazing and helpful. My father has been here for months and is well taken care of. From the Administration to the Nurses to all that work throughout the whole facility are amazing.

Fantastic experience: My grandma had been referred to Sierra View by her doctor of over 15 years for their physical therapy team. She is 79 years old and was admitted to help her start walking again. She’s had nothing but good things to say about the staff. They gave her a COVID vaccine as well and she’s doing well with her therapy!

Positive experience: My Dad was a recovering COVID patient and was leaving the hospital to a nursing home to further his physical therapy to get back to normal. Everyone at Sierra View is very easy to communicate with. Albert was especially helpful in keeping communication with me. He was available via call and text. Even now that my dad is out of the nursing home, Albert still checks in with me to see how things are going. In addition, Albert has been helpful in figuring out the mess with my Dad's Medical and Medicare insurance. I now have a better understanding of how all that works because he walked me through it and worked with his providers. Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because my Dad did not like the food. That being said, the nutritionist, Eduardo, was also available for calls to discuss the diet and the food. He made accommodations as requested and was open to making some custom shakes for my Dad. I think my Dad was likely being overly picky over the food or his medications were throwing his taste buds off. All in all, my Dad said he was comfortable there and all staff were attentive. When he left the hospital, he was no longer able to walk and barely move but made great improvements from the physical therapy he received at Sierra View.

As the Administrator of Sierra View my door is always open, we employ amazing care givers, rehabilitation providers, nurses, and healthcare professionals to help accomplish our goals of providing specialized individualized care to all our residents.

Fantastic experience: I've been working with this facility for years and they continue to provide excellent services and meets the needs of the residents with passion. The staff are outstanding! To the frontline people, Yami, Albert and Sam, thank you for making the process look easy and convenient for your residents. I highly recommend this facility!!!

Fantastic experience: I was at Sierra View for 2 weeks after having my hip surgery and it was a great experience. Yamilette came to Queen of the valley hospital and talked to me about what to expect and guided me through the entire process so that I didn't feel lost since I had never been at a rehab center before. I had my nice warm meals every day on time, I had therapy everyday except for the weekends and all of the nurses were very nice and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Choosing a facility for a loved one is always a difficult decision, I've experienced this when my grandmother was referred to a Health Care facility for rehabilitation after a terrible fall. I came across a few facility, yet after visiting Sierra View I automatically knew this would be the perfect short term rehabilitation for her physical therapy. The facility went beyond meeting our expectations. She received extraordinarily Care from the caregivers who assisted her routinely, the nutritionist who ensured she received the daily nutrients needed to strengthen her for her rehabilitation routines. My grandmother made great improvements working with a team of professionals that not only uplifted her spirits, but also help keep her safe during such a vulnerable time in her life. Fantastic experience: Seems like a well-run friendly place to me!

Positive experience: Serraview is too busy to have dementia patient My mother-in-law walked out of the building and was around the corner and no one knew that she was gone! A lady saw my mother in law in front of her yard look in her basket in her Walker found our number in it and called me we were at work i called the nursing home to let them know that she was gone. She walked out 4 times they got aggravated that she kept leaving. One time they over medicated her she couldn't eat or talk or stay wake that was very scary!!!! Always reporting that her sheets were dirty also her restroom. In her restroom they took the pipes out of the sink to fix and it took them 3 weeks to fix them so she had no sink to wash your face wash your hands after she use the restroom we had to get mad in order for them to put a rush job on it. Some of the Rn's were very rude!!! Bottom line they do a very poor job of taking care of Dimension patient who needs help changing their diaper and hygiene they never brush her false teeth. Her teeth always look dirty food on them we had to clean them they never came to see if she needed to be changed we were always changing her diaper when we were there! We didn't mind taking care of her or changing her diaper the point is they weren't doing their job like they should have been because they were too overworked not enough nurses too busy and where she's at right now its a small place and they take very good care of her There are some wonderful CNAs that took good care of her but when they were off it was terrible!!! I'm so glad that we took her out of there. They should not accept dementia patients. Cuz they do get worse when it progress.
