Fantastic experience: I’ve given birth here twice in the last 2 years and have nothing but great things to say about everyone working here. Staff is super helpful, parking can be a bit congested but that comes with a hospital. I love their farmers market on Fridays.

Fantastic experience: I am responding on behalf of my mother Estela Cortes (Kaiser’s Medical record has incorrectly registered her as (Estella Cortez). I called Kaiser to provide a form in order to correct). My mother was admitted to Kaiser PERMANENTE Hospital Baldwin Park on Dec Monday night Dec 18, 2023 on an ambulance as emergency patient. She is 95 years old and a non member but was treated with great care and a valued patient. After this experience I will recommend to my parents to enroll as member with Kaiser when next enrollment period comes. Speaking on my behalf, I have been a member of Kaiser for over 30 years. Although I’ve not been hospitalized, my experience on the level of office medical service by providers, doctors, nurses down to the appointment lines have been very satisfactory. Their professionalism, and follow up have been very satisfactory as well. The office medical services offices’ environment is always clean and safe.

Fantastic experience: Sets the bar for level of care and respect for patients and their families. Dr. Brian Nguyen and his staff, without a doubt, exhibit the best Kaiser has to offer in medical care. Maintenance, security, etc. were also very helpful during my various visits.

Fantastic experience: The cardiologist department is awesome at Baldwin park. My doctor is new but she is great. Dr. Heajung Nyguen listened to my concerns on my first visit with her about my pacemaker not being adjusted right and spent two hours adjusting it for me. I felt so bad for her other patients that were waiting. But she really cared a d it still is not adjusted correctly but she changed her pacemaker clinic from the morning to the afternoon this Thursday so I can see her for her to try adjusting it a dit way instead of seeing other doctor in the pacemaker clinic I get to see her. Again she is awesome and I highly recommend her for a cardiologist.

Fantastic experience: I specifically requested my that my records and appointments be transferred to this facility rather than the one on Sunset. Although I still go to the Pasadena Offices for general medical care. I have found the Sunset "campus" to be confusing, poorly planned and a nightmare to find parking based on which building you need. Baldwin Park has one central parking structure that is close to the buildings on its campus, which makes sense. Getting there early is essential however, as when I have left my appointments mid-morning, there are cars streaming in like there is a concert or a sports game playing.... Everyone I have encountered seems ready to help. A nurse's aid actually walked me to an area while explaining the layout of the building. There is a Starbucks on site and plenty of outside seating.

Fantastic experience: I had to come to ER and was treated promptly and courteously. Were there things I didn't like? Sure, it's a hospital. But overall, I was taken care of and left in much better shape than I went in! Thank you Kaiser!

Fantastic experience: Dr Michael Chen at the Baldwin Park, Ca. Kaiser Orthopedic Surgery Department is Amazing. I had my Right Knee T.K.Replacemnt done in May 2021 & my Left T.K.R done in May 2023 just 3 months ago. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. He is a marvelous Doctor. I'm so grateful that both of my knee's are now pain free. He was never in a rush & he always listened to all of my concerns & questions. If your needing new knee's he is the best Doctor for it. He is very professional & caring. Every Physician Assistant I have seen at B.P. Kaiser is the best of the best. I'm in my 60's. I hope all my surgeries are done now but if he could only be my All Around Doctor for everything I would be in heaven. Thank you DR. CHEN I'm grateful & blessed to have you as my Ortho Doctor."

Fantastic experience: A few weeks ago I took my father to the emergency department secondary to chest pain that ultimately ended up being diagnosed as a muscle strain/tear. As a pharmacist who also works in the emergency department, I was incredibly impressed by the level of attention and care my father received while in their care. This was the case before they were aware I was a pharmacist. Dr. Fernandez was very attentive and thorough with her workup. I wish I could recall the nurses who cared for him in both the ED and on the 4th floor. If you are reading this, please know you left a great impression on both my father and I and we are eternally grateful. This experience was a reminder that sincere compassion goes a long way in healthcare.

Fantastic experience: I had a bunion surgery at this hospital and my experience was amazing. PACU nurse Min who put my IV with less pain and Jane who stayed with me and explained to me everything I have to do at home to recover and OR nurse Jonathan they are all sweet and friendly. My anesthesiologist Dr. Kathryn Iwata and my podiatrist Dr. Tara Kristina Lee did an amazing job as well. My surgery ended around 2pm and up to this time 1145pm, I have not yet taken any single pain medication yet to think that they did a lapidus procesure on my left foot. Dr. Lee is very professional that even she hurt her knee she showed up with full of energy and did her job with care and professionalism. If anyone is in need of a podiatrist, I highy recommemded Dr. Tara Kristina Lee you can find her at Irwindale Medical Office Building. Lastly, I will not forget my transporter, I hope I remembered it right. His name is Miguel who stayed with us until my service came. Thank you and thumbs up to all of you guys!!

Positive experience: Like all Kaiser hospitals this one was great it was clean employees were nice lots of room I was there for like 5 hours and was very comfortable the parking is outrageous as parking all over the place it was a great place and I'm quite sure I'll be back

Positive experience: I'm leaving a quick review on my sister's behalf, she had surgery and before being released they gave her a number to call them at if anything went wrong or any issues. A few hours later she needed assistance and couldn't drive the or even get in a car, she called for assistance that special number and was on hold for over 45 till she just hung up. I think 3 stars is generous

Fantastic experience: I would like to appreciate your L&D team let me experienced a beautiful delivery. I was went for frequently contraction and check-in on 2/7 afternoon. From RN (Shelley, Lilia, Sylvia), anesthesiologist and CNM (Cannon), they were really nice, encouraged me during the whole medical process and took a great cares of me. Me and my baby girl Cassie felt blessed and very thanks for your wonderful team’s care!

Fantastic experience: Nurse Olga Juanita Loza exceeded all expectations with her exceptional care and attention to detail. During my recent appointment at Kaiser Baldwin Park Oncology Hematology Department, I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with her level of care and professionalism. Not only did she make sure I was comfortable and well taken care of during my visits, but she also went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of during my Lupron medication injections, Her compassion, and dedication to her patients are truly remarkable. She also ensured all of my concerns were addressed and all of my questions were answered. I truly appreciated the extra time and effort she took to make me feel heard and valued. As a cancer survivor, I can attest to the fact that Olga is an exceptional nurse and truly deserving of recognition for her outstanding care. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of medical care.

Fantastic experience: COVID-19 Vaccination Center. Vaccination center is located on the second floor in Building 2 of this campus which is quite far from the main parking lot. Follow the signs leading to the Building 2 which is left of the main building if you are facing it. Check with the receptionist and fill out the form about Covid-19 vaccination history and sign. When you enter the vaccination room there are sections for each vaccination brand you are seeking such as Moderna or Pfizer or Jenssen. After you get vaccinated you need to wait 15 minutes at the seats reserved for observation period. Process is pretty quick and the staff are quite nice. It was smooth and painless.

Fantastic experience: Have had Kaiser for 2 years now, and it has been a good experience. They are very preventative focused and want to help you feel better. Saw Dr. Kim at Physical Medicine today. He went over my MRI before explaining my medical concerns. He was very thorough and, at the same time, listened to my concerns. The same goes for my PC, Dr. Hardy, at Diamond Bar Kaiser. Excellent care!

Fantastic experience: My first baby was born here and I have to say the L&D department is excellent. Many specialized nurses came in frequently for check-ups and the doctors provided excellent care.

Fantastic experience: My delivery experience at this Kaiser was above and beyond. My review will include both departments of Labor and Delivery and Mother and Baby (postpartum). I was already 6cm when I walked into Labor and Delivery. The secretary quickly got me help from both nurses Marilsol and Elaine who were just passing by and noticed my distress. After gently assessing me they brought me into a nice clean room and placed me comfortably while I was having the worst contractions. The anesthesiologist was very quick and professional. I took that epidural like a champ with my nurse Elaine guiding me. Shortly after she switched with another RN named Maria Fe, also known as Muffi who was like my auntie from another lifetime. She stayed with me throughout the whole delivery process and gave me oxygen, blankets, and more comfort than I could have dreamed. We were laughing and enjoying the process once the pain subsided from the epidural. Erin Cannon, the midwife, was also very sweet. She always explained what was going on and made sure everything was going well. I was able to deliver only a few short hours later and pushed for only 15 mins with a small 1st degree tear. I did not even feel the stitches. The environment was just so positive and soothing with great music playing thanks to my husband. After a great rest and making sure our babygirl was nice and healthy we were discharged to Mother and Baby dept. Sue, our evening RN was so kind and escorted us. We had a great RN, Natalie greet us and educate us on some postpartum care. Nat our CNA made sure we always had everything we need after checking my vitals. My favorite part of my stay was the 2nd day when I got to enjoy learning how to swaddle and breastfeed. Jenica, our RN was outstanding. She was definitely a kind soul who understood the feeling of being a new mom and gave me such much comfort whenever I asked questions. Jiang Nancy was also my mother from another lifetime. When I was exhauseted at night and in pain. She always made sure I got my pain medication in time and anticipated when I was about to start feeling the pain. She helped me feel comfortable when my baby was not peeing enough. She taught me positions on how to feed her properly by breast feeding and by formula. Dr. Cory, the attending pediatrician was also very kind. Dr. Lisa Paquette was amazing in explaining the high bilirubin levels our baby had. Jamie, the following day RN was super kind and had us fully stocked when we ran out of postpartum care supplies or baby diapers in our room. Felicida, the charge nurse was so amazing and warm. These staff members are the heart and they make me want to only come here to have our babies. You would be blessed to have any of them as part of your experience.

Fantastic experience: I typically don't write reviews but this one is worth my time. About 2 months ago, I started having Sciatica pain. I tried self treating but the pain got worse, to the point where walking was even too painful. I contacted appointment services and was so happy when they were able to get me a same day appointment where I was referred to Imaging for an MRI. Quite often appointments for an MRI can take a very long time but not in this case. The Imaging Department was able to get me an appointment the next morning! I'm not sure whether they had a cancellation or how it happened but I could not be more grateful. I just wanted to say thank you again! Everyone I dealt with was so incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful. I don't know what's happening moving forward but at least I'm on the right track! I think most of the time people write reviews because they didn't have a good experience so I wanted to write one and thank you for a job well done.

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to give a big thanks to urgent care for doing a great job on staying calm, being positive and so helpful. With long lines and waits I know its not easy but Vanessa Garcia, Claudia and Dr. Plascencia all made my pregnant wife's vist so pleasant.

Fantastic experience: My baby was born here last month. Such a Great medical staff when my wife and I had our newborn experience. Fantastic experience: I have not been in the Baldwin Park Kaiser is a few years. Today I was impressed how much it has changed in a positive way. The environment is clean and staff is professional and welcoming. I definitely would not mind coming back here for future appointments for my family. I would like to say thank you to the Baldwin Park Kaiser staff for the hard work.

Fantastic experience: I want to commend Dr. Paul Kim who operated on my hand on 06/21/22. Aside from being an outstanding surgeon, he went out of his way (literally) to expedite my surgery. I was initially scheduled for Irwindale, but the surgery could not be completed there. Initially, I was told that because of that mistake, I would have to wait another 10 weeks or so to get back onto his schedule. I had a rare type of cancerous mass on my finger and I did not want to wait as it was deep as it was and if it got deeper, I was at risk of losing tendons or my finger itself. To Dr Kim’s credit, he completed all of his surgeries in Irwindale and then rushed over to BP to complete mine at the end of the day. I really appreciate Dr Kim’s commitment to ensuring the best possible outcome was made for both my surgery and future risk of losing use of my finger. I hope someone here can please pass on my gratitude to Dr. Kim and his staff.

Fantastic experience: I went for an appointment with Dr. Niloofar Eskandri, MD OBGYN. I wasn’t feeling well at all when I got there, both she and her nurse were absolutely wonderful, which made me feel more at ease about my being their. They explained, in detail, what they were doing and why. Their demeanor was positive and professional. All my questions were answered and I left my appointment feeling positive about the treatment recommended.

Fantastic experience: Want to say thank you to a great pediatrician and her team, Dr. Connie Hsu at Baldwin Park! My children have had the fortune to be under her care for many years. Dr. Hsu and her nurses always make us feel taken care of. As a working mom, I love the convenience of the one-stop shop - seeing the doctor, getting any needed prescriptions and/ or lab work done and then hitting the Starbucks all at the same medical office! Don't laugh but I've even picked up a forgotten birthday gift at their gift shop! We've also had a couple of telehealth visits with Dr. Hsu and it was just like seeing her in-person but without leaving the comfort of our home! So much appreciation for you, Dr. Hsu!

Fantastic experience: Although we know going to get a check up is a bit scary but with Kaiser's customer services, I'm somewhat put at ease, clean restrooms, I'm more amazed at their facilities in Baldwin Park, it's actually a park where there are exercise machines and even enjoy walking around.

Fantastic experience: This is a hospital in Baldwin Park. The scale of the hospital is very large, and the traffic is very convenient on the south side of Highway 10. This hospital has a large three-story parking lot, several medical buildings, and complete medical equipment. The service attitude of the medical staff here is very good, and everyone shows care and love. The corridors inside the hospital are spacious, with clear signs along the way, and the lights are also white and bright daylight, which makes us feel at ease here.

Fantastic experience: Great experience at the Kaiser Baldwin Park Urgent Care on a Saturday, late afternoon. Wait was minimal and I moved along quickly. They had patients separated well into units. I’d say 90% of the staff was very friendly and patient. That’s an A-!! Not bad. I felt well cared for. One of the nurses, had a hard time getting a vein for my IV. She said I was going to get a bruise from one of the attempts. I appreciate her honesty, no problem. Wish I remembered her name to give her recognition for her friendliness and professionalism for calling in reinforcement when necessary. Another nurse, Janet , came to try and she got it right away. Just as nice as can be. The Doctor was very patient and answered all my questions.

Fantastic experience: thanks to Jonathan the ER NURSE LEADER, he helped make one of the scariest moments of my moms life a little bit better. He was a great nurse, he went way above and beyond to make sure my mom was being taken care of and felt safe! thank you for all you did and we want you to know we are so grateful! Fantastic experience: I went in the ER for Extreme abdominal pain. The staff was extremely helpful from getting me to checked in to being admitted for a scheduled surgery the day after for the severity of my condition. During my stay the nurse and staff were amazing, they helped keep me calm knowing I was unease from being told I was going to have to surgery. Thank you everyone at Kaiser for making my experience great and taking care of me. Merry Christmas

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nelson from Pediatrics was super sweet and very Patient he answered all questions that I asked. I didn't feel rushed. His Nurse Jackie was super sweet as well. They were definitely worth the drive from Victorville. Their Overall Customer service was excellent

Fantastic experience: I took my parents in for the covid-19 booster and flu shot. We arrived a little early for a 10:00 am appointment. We arrived a little early, but we were made to stand in line for 20 -30 minutes before entering the building. The check in process went pretty quickly. However, we were once again waiting with over 50 people (including staff) The whole process took approximately 2 hours. This is a long day for an elderly person with disabilities. I wonder how long we would be waiting if we didn't have an appointment?

Fantastic experience: Review Update: I'm changing the review from one start to five star because of the way the KP Baldwin Park authority reached out to me to address my concern and make the experience better. They not only listened to my concerns but also scheduled in-person appointment for my son. I hope people in need of ER service will have a better experience next time. ........... Initial Review Don’t bother visiting their emergency room. They literally don’t provide emergency care. I took my child in in early morning hours and there were 31 people before me waiting. The attendant said my best bet is waiting 7 hours to get the service. That’s anything but emergency care.

Fantastic experience: Came in on 9/15 into ER department about 1130pm waited less than 20 minutes to be seen and was admitted by 7 am due to my illness. I have to say all the nurses and doctors that attended to me till 9/18 when i was finally released went above and beyond to explain everything to me about what was going on with me and the treatment i was getting. I have nothing but praise for the staff that helped me in my recovery!!!

Fantastic experience: My family's been coming here for the lactation consultant for the past month because of our daughter having been born November 12, 2020. The parking is actually not bad and the outside of the hospital is very beautiful. The Kaiser staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. And me, husband, and my older daughter allowed us to go to my wife's appointment as well which is really nice considering Covid restrictions.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Maldonado along w nurses Jason ( who was able to do my IV) .and nurse Sarah. Thanks again. I was in so much pain. You all made my ER visit smooth. Esp once my IV was finally done. I have never small veins and Jason used an ultrasound machine to find the perfect vein. With covid I didnt expect much but was very impressed with pretty much all the staff on call Wednesday (2/3/2021) morning shift. I'm healing slowly at home

Fantastic experience: Gave birth to our baby girl and had a wonderful experience. From the first nurse, to the baby nurse, doctor, etc everything went smoothly and I felt like I was well taken care of. The meals provided while there were very tasty. It was nice to not have to worry about anything but feeding the baby and getting adjusted to a new addition to our family. The pediatrician was extra friendly and patient while answering all of our questions and concerns. Had a couple visits with the lactation consultant and was thankful in learning the proper latch to make breastfeeding easier. To assist with baby gaining back her weight, they created a feeding plan and helped me order a hospital grade pump. Thankful for all the assistance kaiser provided.

Fantastic experience: Delivered my first baby here, and it was the best experience. Once I was placed in the delivery room my nurse never left my side only to go to her break (almost forcefully because she was so attentive to my baby and I). She tried her best to make my delivery the most comfortable and always asked how I felt. After delivering my son and I were transferred to the recovery room, where I was also attended by an amazing nurse. She not only helped me breastfeed my baby but taught my husband and I how to bathe him. The nurse was so full of energy and joy, she was definitely some one who loved her job. Thanks to their help I had a wonderful delivery.

Fantastic experience: I had a total knee replacement and had my foot fused here and the Drs. are great. Dr. Khatchatorian and Dr Barnes have changed my life. From the nurses to physical therapy I have had great treatment. Kaiser is the best. I had health net and they gave me the run around. They were sending referrals for treatment that I wasn't even getting. What a nightmare. Kaiser I love you. You have completely changed my future and have given me hope.

Fantastic experience: I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’ve never had to come here but to my surprise it was a pleasant experience. Everyone for the most part were helpful and polite. Definitely coming back here now.

Fantastic experience: Stopped in for a Flue Shot. Great service. Amazing atrium with sky lights. Groovy design for the waiting area. A zen waterfall in the middle surrounded by river rocks. There's a Starbucks by the lake.

Fantastic experience: Don't think the nurses could have been kinder! They were so nice and efficient that they almost seemed like perfect androids. Not even the most awful patients managed to ruffle them and they gave everyone kind attention .I entered through the ER on 7/23, got checked out by a doctor, had a CT scan and an ultrasound and bloodtests and IV antibiotics all in under 2 hrs! That would have taken all night in any other ER. Then I was quickly admitted, spent the night in a clean and comfy single room.and had an appendectomy the very next day and am home today 7/25. The hospital worked like a well oiled machine. The people were the kindest strangers I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The place was super clean and they paid tremendous attention to detail checking everything 3 to 4 times .I will praise Kaiser to everyone I know.

Fantastic experience: Debbie, she works on the 3rd floor on the family practice area. She's a wonderful nurse who enjoys her job at Kaiser Baldwin Park, always empathizes with my mother, over the years she's build a relationship with us. Baldwin park Kaiser has excellent customer service and their employees just make it better.

Fantastic experience: The staff at this location is excellent, but there has to be a better way to admit patients to the hospital. It's crazy to get wheeled down to ER from the clinic at 1:00 PM and have to wait to see an ER doctor to actually admit the patient. Didn't get into a room until 9:00 PM. ER facilities are turned into a holding facility. Not fair to the staff. BTW...Gil is the best.
